Final show in Birmingham this weekend

This weekend rock legends Black Sabbath will perform their finals shows at the Genting Arena in the band’s hometown of Birmingham. “I love playing with the band, and it’s sad to think this is the last tour” said Epiphone Signature artist Tony Iommi. Though Black Sabbath have talked of retiring before, Iommi’s cancer diagnosis in 2012 and the success of the band’s Rick Rubin-produced album 13, inspired Iommi, Ozzy Osbourne, and bassist Geezer Butler to make one more world tour before retiring from the stage.

“To come back and be friends with my buddies who I started up with all those years ago,” Ozzy told Express & Star, “it’s a closure for me to have a chapter of my life which I can say, ‘Well, we came, we saw, we had a good time, and now it’s over.’ And so it’s like any relationship. I’m glad we ended up having more or less whatever has gone on between us over the years.”

Tony Iommi explains his unique guitar sound:

And against ALL odds, Ozzy made it all the way through!

Well done, lads! Well done!
