From what I remember of learning history in HS, the Arab culture, in and of itself, was quite nomadic and didn’t possess the sick shit Islam brought to it. I say we take off and nuke the entire sites of Mecca and Medina from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.

I’m certainly not getting tired of WINNING yet. Flake thinks he’s going to parlay that ridiculous speech into a run against Trump in 2020. But what is going to be REALLY interesting and revealing is just exactly what role John McLame played in this Dossier business. I’ve never bought into that whole story of he was just a messenger of sorts.

I have a sneaking suspicion Hillary or something in the DNC thought it would look “good” if he was the one who brought the Dossier to the FBI (who already had it). There’s so many unclean hands in this thing it’ll take a crate of Lava to get them clean.

All the players in the DOJ Russia/Trump investigation are implicated in this. Time to clean house, Sessions.

    @ Deplorable Barbarian:

according to a piece in the Daily Mail when this all started coming out, McCain was in London, had dinner w/a former UK diplomat who told him about the dossier. How this former diplomat knew of it remains undiscussed. McCain then dispatched an ‘aide’ to London to retrieve a copy, read it, and turned it over to the FBI.

    take that FWIW

Supposedly, the original patron of Fusion GPS for Trump oppo research was a deep pocket Republican donor. When Trump got the nomination anyway, their services were no longer required. According to Brian Fallon’s interview w/CNN last nite, after THAT, Fusion GPS approached the Clinton Campaign asking if they could use any help.

But by that time, the dossier was already in circulation – if you accept that all this happened after Trump got the nomination. That would mean Clinton had nothing to do with its creation. But did Fusion GPS pass it on to her campaign? How does that work? The original employer, the Republican side, would have been the one to pay for it, how does Fusion GPS own it? Or did they just sell it twice?

    @ eaglesoars:

If there was a Republican donor involved at the genesis of all this during the nomination process, why do I get the feeling this is all linked to JEB! since he was the darling of the big-money donors. I’m really skeptical of that whole “UK diplomat” story. McCain is a chronic liar and I wouldn’t believe a word out of his mouth if his tongue came notarized.

BTW, I am loving the DNC apologists over at Twitchy and Twitter trying to minimize this as “it’s just opposition research….what’s the harm.” Opposition research that was used as the basis of the DOJ FISA warrant. Oh, and didn’t they go all apesh*t some months ago and demanding investigation into a story about Don Jr. having a meeting with a Russian with “opposition research” on Hillary?

In other news, Grassley wants a Special Counsel for the Uranium One matter. I’ll probably be able to hear the foot stomping and screeching from here. Get on it Sessions, you aren’t recused from this – put Andrew McCarthy in charge.

Here we go. Fauxcahauntas lied about be chased around the desk. The guy had polio.

ccording to Warren, Smith was her buddy and they were joking around in the office, in which she was laughing uproariously. Numerous witnesses say that, even when speaking at the memorial service, Warren laughed about the alleged incident. Which begs the question: Who cracks jokes about being sexually assaulted? Unless, of course, it never happened.

More importantly, Warren conveniently—and deliberately—left out a seminal fact: Smith suffered from polio. That’s right. He was unable to walk or move around without a wheelchair or crutches. According to his former colleagues, Smith’s polio was so severe they felt pity for him.

Warren herself, while trying to be humorous at Smith’s memorial service, inadvertently revealed how utterly disabled he was. She told a second story about when Smith took her to the faculty lounge for lunch. Smith ordered a steak. After it came, he then pushed the plate towards Warren, asking her to cut it up for him. “Can’t you see I’m a cripple?” he allegedly told her. “Sure. But I thought you knew that when you ordered the steak,” Warren retorted, which she says made him laugh.

I love this. Chris Cizilla a week ago

Donald Trump just suggested the FBI, Democrats and Russia might all be co-conspirators

This is, of course, somewhat common fare by this point in the arc of Trump’s presidency. Faced this week with storylines he doesn’t like — questions about the Niger attack, controversy over a phone call he placed to the widow of one of the soldiers lost in that attack, Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Capitol Hill facing questions about Russian meddling in the election — he aims to change the subject via his Twitter feed. And he often does so by lobbing out a conspiracy theory with only the loosest ties to the factual world.

    From the article linked above:

Members of “Generation Z” are now beginning to graduate high school, and 2016 was the first time any of them were old enough to vote. At seventy million and counting, they’re also about to outnumber their predecessors.

So, what’s so intriguing about this new brood? Well, according to a growing body of research, they may be, by certain measures, the most conservative generation since World War II—more than Millennials, Generation Xers and even the Baby-Boomers.

That timeline issue I was concerned about w/the dossier – Hannity just cleared it up. christopher steele was not involved w/Fusion GPS when it was working for the R side – he became involved only after they started working for the Clintons.

I have to double check that tho

FEC Complaint Says Clinton Campaign, DNC Violated Campaign Finance Laws Over Trump Dossier

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Hillary Clinton’s campaign violated campaign finance laws by failing to accurately disclose payments related to the so-called Trump Dossier, the non-partisan Campaign Legal Center said in a complaint filed today with the Federal Election Commission.

According to a recent reports in the media, Marc Elias, who also served as the Clinton campaign lawyer, paid opposition research firm Fusion GPS to produce the dossier which exposed alleged connections between Donald Trump and Russia government. It also contained salacious allegations about Trump’s personal escapades. According to reports, the Hillary for America campaign paid for the research but routed the payments through Elias’ law firm Perkins Coie and described the purpose of the money as “legal services” on their FEC disclosures. The DNC and the Clinton campaign reported dozens of payments totaling more that $12 million dollars to Perkins Coie over the course of the campaign.

“By filing misleading reports, the DNC and Clinton campaign undermined the vital public information role of campaign disclosures,” said Adav Noti, with the Campaign Legal Center in a statement obtained by LawNewz. Noti previously served as the FEC’s Associate General Counsel for Policy. “Voters need campaign disclosure laws to be enforced so they can hold candidates accountable for how they raise and spend money. The FEC must investigate this apparent violation and take appropriate action.”

According to FEC reports, Clinton’s campaign reported 37 payments to the law firm and reported each disbursement as “Legal Services.” The DNC reported 345 payments to Perkins Coie during the election cycle and marked the payments as “legal and compliance consulting,” “administrative fees,” “data services subscription” and others.

“The purpose of at least some portion of the payments to Perkins Coie was not for legal services; instead, those payments were intended to fund opposition research,” the FEC complaint reads. “This false reporting clearly failed the Commission’s requirements for disclosing the purpose of a disbursement.”

I’ve got to admit, I’m getting puzzled. I don’t understand the lefts endgame anymore. They were actually succeeding by pushing the overton window slowly over time. Now, this new radicalism of theirs is actually having the opposite effect. You wouldn’t believe the number of people I’ve talked to that thought Trump was the devil himself, but now due to BLM, NFL protests, college insanity, lunatic protesters, etc are now saying that Trump is right. They are literally pushing all the non-political “normies” to the right with their utter insanity.

    yeah, election fraud never happens

(AP) – A computer server crucial to a lawsuit against Georgia election officials was quietly wiped clean by its custodians just after the suit was filed, The Associated Press has learned.

The server’s data was destroyed July 7 by technicians at the Center for Elections Systems at Kennesaw State University, which runs the state’s election system. The data wipe was revealed in an email — sent last week from an assistant state attorney general to plaintiffs in the case — that was obtained by the AP. More emails obtained in a public records request confirmed the wipe.

The lawsuit, filed by a diverse group of election reform advocates, aims to force Georgia to retire its antiquated and heavily criticized election technology. The server in question, which served as a statewide staging location for key election-related data, made national headlines in June after a security expert disclosed a gaping security hole that wasn’t fixed six months after he reported it to election authorities.

    WIPED OUT

It’s not clear who ordered the server’s data irretrievably erased.

There are those that then say “yeah, well the tickets are already paid for.” And that’s true. They do have the ticket money. But the vendors are going to be out sales – beer, hot dogs, souvineers. Parking lot revenues down.

And remember how often the league stressed the importance of the “12th Man”?

Football Savant Offspring loves his football but doesn’t tune in the game on the channel until 10 broadcast minutes in. He watches whatever game on the Sunday Ticket “Game Mix” which has no ratings value and then moves over after the anthem.

He asked me if I’d ever watch again. I said if the League grows a spine and those dirtbags stay in the locker room until the anthem is over, yeah, I might. They can have all the political opinions they want – I don’t want them stuffed in my face, especially when there are veterans down on the field with the flag. Stay in the damn locker room.

I did notice that apparently the networks have caught on – I think they’ve not only STOPPED showing the anthem but have stopped commenting on it. Except for maybe ESPN.

Which leads me to Mika. Stay with here.

    YeeeeHaaa.

Out of hospital on a weekend ward leave pass.

Had two more TIAs wed evening and ended up back in the stroke ward. I kept a VERY accurate log of what was happening with colour coded onset and fade times and what was being affected and when. All colour coded. The specialist near surgeon asked me to describe these last two incidents. I just handed he and his team the colour coded log which made their eyes light up. The consensus is that it’s impossible for a TIA to operate in such a random fashion. the Specialist mumbled something about having to talk with other experts and hit the books on this one. He suggested that it could be a really rare glitch in a blood protein that pops up on occasion, causes this effect and then just goes away after a few months. …. or something else equally remote and quisical. Still having a MRI at 0700 hours Monday buy I’m free to go on ward leave until them. They pulled the shunt out of my arm I got dressed in 30 seconds and when the porter said I had to wait 30 minutes for a wheelchair I suggested that we could use the imaginary wheelchair parked by my bed and to show me the way to the lifts. I was outta there in 4 minutes all up as soon as the shunt was out of my arm!

Off to the Claddah Irish Pub at 5PM with the boys, for a few Guinesses.

Frank the Crank is pushing 80 and he has a call waiting from the great celestial telephone switchboard. Wait the bugger out mate. First off you have GOT to find yourself an orthodox Catholic Padre and preferably a traditional Tridentine Latin Mass Parish. Once you get that sorted you will find it gets a LOT better. There are even websites that help you find your nearest \Traditional Latin Mass parish.

Same here. My fear is that no matter what is found out and revealed, he will still be immune. The people who loved him so much will continue doing so. Kind of like how Bill Clinton was immune to everything. It’s only now with the passing of time that people are as drawn in to his crap.

The planet they went to was completely controlled by Social Media, violation of rules required “apology tours”, if you failed you would be adjusted (reprogrammed). Even had a guy get offended because someone’s headwear was offensive to his heritage. That was good scifi, far more like star Trek than STD is.

As a matter of fact, I try every week to go to Latin Mass at St. Louis Bertrand in Vallejo – and here’s the interesting thing. Gotta get up early. They are packed outside the church starting at about 6:30 a.m. to get in for a Mass starting at 8:00; meanwhile the 7:00 mass is going on inside. I would go to St. Mary’s or St. Patrick’s in Vacaville, which is closer, but both churches say Mass in Latin at 2:00 p.m.

Benedict was really working to bring back the Latin Mass and I think even the Church was not expecting the response that it got to the revival. In Calfiornia, Latin Mass is extremely popular.

I can wait it out – at least Father Vic appears conservative – we don’t get a homily on welcoming illegals every Sunday – which is the reason I dumped my local parish.

Levin pointed out something on his show last night – Clapper was being interviewed about the dossier by one of the interchangeable leftists on CNN and he stated “the counter-intelligence investigation was underway before we receivied the dossier.” Because now that the dossier has been thoroughly discredited (because the Beast isn’t in the WH to bury it) apparently now Clapper has to minimize its importance.

To which Levin says – Wait a minute – what? WHY was the Obama administration intelligence agency conducting a counter-intelligence operation on a candidate running for the Republican nomination? We know the dossier had been around since June 2016 – before Trump was officially the candidate. In what universe does the President and his flunkies use government agencies to conduct opposition research under the guise of a “counter-intelligence” investigation. Wow.

Loved a caller to Rush yesterday, who upbraided him a little for saying Hillary won’t go to jail – Hey, dude, you should be saying over and over again that she SHOULD go to jail, and if there was any justice in this country, she WOULD go to jail.

Personally, I think the Democrats are putting on a brave face….but they want to be rid of the Clintons – they have proven nothing but an embarrassment and they no longer have any possible use for them. After all, they have that brilliant Senator from California – Kamala Harris – to carry the minority torch for them into the next election.

However, that witch has oodles and oodles of nasty baggage they probably aren’t looking too closely at….but I remember.

Protester Who Threw Russian Flags At Trump Was On Capitol Watch List

The liberal protester who earlier this week infiltrated a group of reporters in a secure area of the Capitol, tossed mini-Russian flags and shouted “treason” at President Trump had been on a watch list before Tuesday’s incident, Fox News has learned.

The protester was identified as Ryan Clayton, an activist from an anti-Trump group who was later arrested and charged with unlawful conduct.

The U.S. Capitol Police Board is conducting an internal investigation into how someone without a press credential – and on a watch list – was able to slip into the secure area and get so close to the president.

“This was a monumental f—up,” a senior congressional security source told Fox News.

Clayton has been on a “watch list” kept by the Capitol Police, a source said, and was denied entry to the complex earlier that day when an officer recognized him at the Russell Senate Office Building.

But later on, officers in a tunnel leading to the Capitol did not check his ID to see if he had a pass or badge, the source said. He used an outdated visitor’s pass to enter the Capitol through a tunnel connecting the Rayburn House Office building. After clearing the security checkpoint, he made his way outside the Senate chamber, where he blended in with credentialed congressional reporters and stood just feet away from Trump.

A source also said Clayton was in possession of a four-day old pass for the location of the House Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facility, which is home to the House Intelligence Committee. Fox News is told there is no evidence so far that Clayton attempted to access that facility.

The most recent couple of (TIAs ??) were all over the place. occasionally overlapping in region sometimes non contiguous and just plain screwy. The euro surgeon is suspecting no stroke or TIA but will await a MRI on Monday 0700 hours. In the meantime I’m on Ward leave for the weekend. They are thinking about some three word gobbledegook name of a syndrome where a rogue blood protein is switching on and off causing these symptoms. If it that rogue protein doing its darnedest then the prognosis is good in the medium term (2 months) as it tends to come right all on its own. In the meantime they await the MRI. The CAT scan and ultrasound scans showed that all is in good to great order.

You bugger! You’re spoiled for choice! HEH!

    🙂

In my case I have to drive 30 minutes and there is a sole Tridentine Mass but the local Parish Priest is one out of the box. Just 40 years old, great formation and totally orthodox with homilies that should be recorded and transcribed for their nuanced understanding and depth. Delivered in a really professional and theologically traditional way. The guy is a treasure and worth his salt. There are two other groups The FSSP who aren’t under the thumb of the local heretical bishop (actually he’s just a weak personality who bends like a reed in a hurricane of liberal modernism), and the SSFP LeFabre schmatics. They are slowly being regularised, and according to Benedict are licit. Who knows?

The modernists in charge including the weak bishop supply the gay liberals of the James Martin crew, complete with all the usual garbage liturgy of the worst of the Liberal Progressive modernists of Vatican II.
We live in very strange times mate!

Hunker down and wait until this storm passes.

    🙂

In that capacity, during the 2016 election cycle we retained Fusion GPS to provide research on multiple candidates in the Republican presidential primary, just as we retained other firms to assist in our research into Hillary Clinton. All of the work that Fusion GPS provided to the Free Beacon was based on public sources, and none of the work product that the Free Beacon received appears in the Steele dossier. The Free Beacon had no knowledge of or connection to the Steele dossier, did not pay for the dossier, and never had contact with, knowledge of, or provided payment for any work performed by Christopher Steele. Nor did we have any knowledge of the relationship between Fusion GPS and the Democratic National Committee, Perkins Coie, and the Clinton campaign.

Representatives of the Free Beacon approached the House Intelligence Committee today and offered to answer what questions we can in their ongoing probe of Fusion GPS and the Steele dossier. But to be clear: We stand by our reporting, and we do not apologize for our methods

Friday night in Houston. Nothing really to report.

I am probably going to spend two or three hours watching a group of men spitting and scratching their nuts.

It is an American game of some sort. In between the scratching and spitting someone throws a ball and someone else tries to hit it with a stick.

If the person with the stick hits the ball everyone runs around like idiots.

If he misses, then well more spitting and scratching.

    Oh, and GO ASTROS!!!!!!!

    Jeff Flake is a Mormon.

    Didn’t know that.

As a child growing up in Snowflake, Ariz., a town that his Mormon pioneer great-great-grandfather helped found in the 1870s, Senator Jeff Flake learned to sing a popular children’s hymn, “Choose the Right.”

He had no trouble recalling the hymn’s words on the telephone Wednesday, a day after he took to the floor of the Senate to deliver a stinging rebuke to his party and president, and to announce that he would not run for re-election in 2018.

Who the hell (pardon the pun) even knew that the Euro bishops and Holy See were sharing the same bed as the corrupt socialist European Commission. I admit that all the indicators were there to see historically, but to have a formal co-operative commission that puts both parties not only in the same bed but married ‘in fraternal neo-Marxist bliss’ is beyond imagination. It’s a good thing that these cockroaches were so totally cock sure that they were both unstoppable and immune to censure, that they have left giant footprints all over the bureaucracies of BOTH the Vatican and the EU.

    SPIT!

In launching an international Vatican conference on the future of Europe on Friday, German Cardinal Reinhard Marx listed off his idea of the three greatest challenges facing Europe, the first of which was “climate change.”
“The European Union and all of Europe find themselves facing great challenges,” the Cardinal said at a press conference Friday morning, “for which citizens expect, if not conclusive answers, at least clear objectives and prospects from their politicians and from politics.”

The Vatican forum titled “(Re)thinking Europe: A Christian contribution to the future of the European Project” is billed as “a high level dialogue between Church and political actors” and is co-organized by the Commission of the Bishops’ Conferences of the European Community (COMECE) and the Holy See.

As the first of the three challenges on his list, Marx named: “Climate change and the attendant need to change our unsustainable lifestyle in the mid-term. United to this is the problem of the costs of ecological change and their distribution.”

The other two great challenges, Cardinal Reinhard Marx declared, are “changes in the world of work” such as digitalization and robotics, and Europe’s migrant crisis.

    Really Karl?…errr ….I mean Reinhard???
It’s interesting to see where your thoughts are.
My three greatest challenges for Europe would be
    1/ leftist/ globalist politics
2/ the undermining of Judeo/Christian faith from within the clergy, and
3/the proliferation of a sadistic murderous cult also known as “Islam”.

this is where Catholics and Orthodox dont jibe with the protestants

We are all born again at baptism or when brought to faith. This is scriptural per the words of Christ to Nicodemus. You mistake in lumping all protestants together, we are not all enthusiasts as Luther labeled the anabaptists and those we would label as fundamentalists or evangelicals. Your “unbroken line” going back to the disciples may be unbroken, but is a line of fallible human beings. “Some say, ‘I follow Paul’, others say ‘I follow Apollos’, others ‘I follow Cephas (Peter), others say ‘I follow Christ’. Did Paul die for you, did Apollos die for you?” The words of Paul to the Corinthians.

The Lutheran doctrine: Sola Scriptura, Sola Gracia, Sola Fidelis (By Grace alone, by faith alone, by scripture alone) summarizes the scriptural truths of salvation and the Gospel message. I do not need a human priest or intermediary to approach the throne of God in prayer, that intermediary is provided by grace through Christ. Teachers, preachers, and other clerical offices are useful as the application of the various gifts given to build up the body of believers, instruct them in the truths of scripture, and are a vocation to which God calls some with those gifts. They are not a path by which salvation is attained.
