NCAA D1 College Football Week 12 2017 Open

This has been a CRAZY year! Great stuff! Except, Miami is undefeated and the press are making them out to be the second coming of Jimmy Johnson’s Criminal Element from back in the 90’s. They are unbelievable ranked #3 in the playoff picture! Sorry boys, you haven’t had the strength of schedule to hang up there and you will be destroyed in the playoffs by ‘Bama or by Clemson on December 2nd. I see ONE quality win for the Hurricanes, ONE. The rest of their wins are against losers.

For the playoffs as of last week: 1 Alabama, 2 Clemson, 3 Miami. 4 Oklahoma State

It’s been so crazy that I am barely above 50%! This is why I don’t bet with real money.

Mercer

12:00 PM

Why? Vegas isn’t even posting a spread for this ridiculous mismatch.

#24 Michigan

12:00 PM

The Badgers are 8 point favorites at Home. W is #5 and undefeated for a reason, they haven’t played anybody yet. Well, except last week, they went to Iowa and beat the tough #20 Hawkeye team at home. A big win here might get them into the top 4.

The Citadel

12:20 PM

Again, WHY?

UCLA

#11 USC

8:00 PM

It’s the annual battle of LA! AKA the battle of the cheerleaders! If you haven’t seen a USC v UCLA game then you are missing out on some lovely scenery. UCLA is getting 16 and they stink. The QB match-up between Josh Rosen and Sam Darnold will be the other highlight of the game, these two WILL be playing on Sunday, the over/under is 72! These aren’t squirrel brained read/option idiots. They are both Dan Marino big and accurate. I think UCLA can beat this spread.

California

8:00 PM

And farther up the coast the Berkeley Bears are playing the geniuses at Stanford. Cal is getting 16 in Reno and I think that they can beat that spread.

Good morning. My prognostications are beyond question. It was me that told you last week that the Irish
would stomp the Fighting Felons from Miami. That sure earned my bones, right?
    So for today’s predictions……… I’ll pass.

Hmmm. AC/DC guitarist Malcolm Young has died, age 64. (No no I will not refer to him as so many other are doing as AC/DC’s rhythm guitarist, that is actually an insulting term especially when referring to a musician of Malcolm’s stature)

Malcolm Young, the rhythm guitarist and guiding force behind the Australian hard rock band AC/DC, has died. He was 64.

AC/DC announced the death on their official Facebook page and website Saturday. The posts did not say when or where Young died.

Young was diagnosed with dementia in 2014. A statement says he died peacefully with his family by his side.

Band representatives didn’t immediately return emails seeking comment. Young formed the group with his brother, Angus.

AC/DC were remarkably consistent for over 40 years with its mix of driving hard rock and bluesy shuffles, selling over 200 million albums, surviving the loss of its first singer and creating one of the greatest rock records ever in “Back in Black,” the world’s second best-selling album behind Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.”

HARARE (Reuters) – Zimbabweans celebrating the expected fall of President Robert Mugabe marched towards his residence in the capital Harare on Saturday, live television pictures showed, as the country prepared to oust its leader of the last 37 years.

Hundreds of thousands of people flooded the streets of the capital singing, dancing and hugging soldiers in an outpouring of elation as Mugabe’s rule comes to an end.

In scenes reminiscent of the downfall of Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceausescu in 1989, men, women and children ran alongside the armored cars and troops that stepped in this week to oust the only ruler Zimbabwe has known since independence in 1980.

The 93-year-old Mugabe has been under house arrest in his lavish ‘Blue Roof’ compound in Harare, from where he has watched support from his Zanu-PF party, security services and people evaporate in less than three days.

Indeed, his prowess as a guitarist has been largely under rated and his creative genius seriously overlooked. As a guitarist playing for over 45 years and writing for nearly 35 years now I can tell you how profoundly difficult it is to consistently come up with material of the caliber Malcolm created.

Yes, AC/DC played the “Satanic” bad boy marketing gimmick to the hilt, big deal, in reality, they were/are just incredibly hard working extremely talented musicians. They were one of the bands just crazy and ballsy enough to tell the truth about what its like trying to succeed in the music industry.

Wow, a year ago they demanded all cops wear bodycams. Now that bodycams have been used to prove that police shootings are generally legit, they are demanding they be removed as “civil rights violations”.
