Trump Doctrine Open

Townhall has a great piece today.

PLEASE READ IT HERE

The Trump Doctrine is really just a fancy name for the common sense view that America’s leaders should use American power to advance the interests of Americans. And that’s why the elite hates it

AMEN!

The line about zobmie Milton Friedman is classic and shows, as I have argued to death on this blog, that so called conservatives don’t understand what Friedman and Smith for that matter were saying.

Excuse me, WHAT did I say? Did I not say this? Yes I did

President Trump ought to throw this back in their pouty faces and tell them that if the members of the House and Senate are so eager for war, they should avail themselves of the Constitution’s War Powers Clause at Article I, Section 8, Clause 11, and declare one.

Now let’s take the next step and talk about aid. Didn’t somebody from Guatemala say the other day we should stop sending it because it just ended up in crooks’ pockets, helping no one?

Since the ’60s we have given Africa over $5 TRILLION. They still have problems with electricity and potable water.

I have no idea why he thought this was a good idea, but Glenn Simpson (Fusion GPS) has written a book “Crime in Progress”.

BREAKING: In new book “Crime in Progress,” set for release next month, #Spygate archvillain Glenn Simpson reveals that he was first hired to investigate Trump in “the fall of 2015” and that memos from his now-discredited Steele dossier made their way directly “to President Obama”

Turkey should be booted from NATO for that alone.

  21. 23 | October 15, 2019 1:54 am

    Thought for the day:

What can one say about a false religion founded by an individual who combines and magnifies the worst attributes of William Jefferson Clinton, Lafayette Ron Hubbard, and Charles Manson? Remember what Orwell said about the function of political ideology? The false theology of Islam serves this function, to create the illusion of legitimacy for actions which were and continue to be morally intolerable in civilized societies. Islam is a criminal conspiracy masquerading as a religion. The self-styled prophet Mohammed (cursed be thy name) was a traitor, a robber, a murderer, a rapist, and a pedophile. Those who refused to submit to his whims (which he declared to be “the will of Allah”) were routinely robbed and murdered, and their wives and daughters raped. Anyone who spoke out against this vile creature were brutally butchered along with their entire families. The self-styled prophet’s last “wife” was only six years old (or nine, some accounts very) when he “married” her. A case could also be made in the context of Arabian society at the time for the charges of blasphemy and sacrilege.

Cameron needs to shut it. There are sexual assault accusations against Smith floating around – yes, plural – that just might rise above the underground whisper level and go public. Credible? Well, yesterday Chris Plante told a story. At a WH Correspondents’ dinner, Smith sent a female producer over to Plante’s table to ask him if he’d like to meet Smith, because Smith thought he was ‘quite handsome’. The assault story I read tracks with this mind-set. “Don’t you like it? Of COURSE you like it!”

NBA superstar LeBron James criticized the general manager of Houston Rockets for not being “educated on the situation” when he tweeted in support of the Hong Kong anti-government protests.

But that criticism sparked backlash against James, with one U.S. lawmaker slamming the LA Lakers star for “putting profits over human rights.”

Rockets GM Daryl Morey set off a spiral of events earlier this month after his tweet drew widespread anger in China. Even though the post was swiftly deleted, sponsors cut ties with the National Basketball Association while the league came under fire for appearing to give in to censorship from Beijing.

“We all talk about this freedom of speech, yes, we all do have freedom of speech. But at times, there are ramifications for the negative that can happen when you’re not thinking about others and you’re only thinking about yourself,” James told reporters ahead of a game against Golden State.

“I don’t want to get into a word or sentence feud with … with Daryl Morey. But I believe he wasn’t educated on the situation at hand and he spoke.”

another woke-whore, it’s all about your money, right james? bow to your new Chinese masters.

when all else fails, change the definitions

    https://www.cnbc.com/2019/10/11/will-there-be-a-recession-in-2020.html

lets change the definition of recession to:

The National Bureau of Economic Research, a nonprofit research organization, defines a recession as the period between a peak and a trough of economic activity. The organization doesn’t give a set definition of economic activity but looks to indicators such as domestic production, employment and retail sales.

Another commonly accepted definition of a recession is two consecutive quarters of negative GDP growth.

so there is a recession in every business cycle????????

This Atlantic Council thing keeps popping up in all the wrong places

Amir Handjani, an oil executive and attorney who sits on the board of directors of Washington’s Atlantic Council think tank, has worked as a registered foreign agent for Ras al Khaimah, or RAK, one of the seven monarchical states that make up the United Arab Emirates. The RAK has deep financial and diplomatic ties to Tehran. According to a $16.7 million complaint filed in September in a London court, RAK’s ruler, Sheikh Saud bin Saqr al Qasimi, ordered Handjani to execute a smear operation which appeared to be aimed in part at perceived critics of Iran, including former Wall Street Journal reporter Jay Solomon.

We must recognize that warm body Democracy doesn’t work. The fact’s that all forms of authority are based on knowledge and political authority’s no exception. But in the present system political authority is granted to any warm body without regard to their actual state of knowledge. As a result some warm bodies have traded their votes for a material object, such as an IPad or a wad of cash. Or worse they’ve traded their votes for the warm and fuzzy feeling of having been compassionate.

My solution to the problem is simply proper education in the obligations of citizenship.

The course would be similar to a driver education course as taught in my day. The first part of the class covers The Constitution, the proper functions of each branch of government, the function of each clause and amendment, the duties of the citizen as a member of the sovereign authority of the nation, and what’s expected to happen when the Federal Government enters the failure mode.

The second part of the course covers the function and use of the instrument of political authority, the personal weapon. This covers rifle marksmanship and maintenance. Also covered is the basic organization and tactics of the citizen militia unit.

While the citizenship course won’t be mandatory, completion and a passing grade will be required to exercise the authority to vote.

I have a question for our self-appointed masters.

The Cold War is over, why do have relations with ANY Islamic country?

Good morning, this is disturbing. Feral pigs on the North/South Korea border have people wondering if the Norks are dealing with their own outbreak of African Swine flu and just not telling anyone (they’ve owned up to only 5 animals so far).

It also hints at a spillover of the deadly virus from North Korea, where unofficial reports indicate that the disease is spreading out of control. South Korea has deployed helicopters to disinfect parts of the 250km-long border barrier, near which more than a dozen outbreaks have occurred on farms since the virus was first reported there a month ago.

African swine fever has spread to almost all areas of North Korea, and pigs in the western province of North Pyongan have been “wiped out”, said Ms Lee Hye-hoon, who chairs the National Assembly’s intelligence committee, citing South Korea’s National Intelligence Service

Nancy is avoiding a floor vote as long as possible, but eventually she’ll either have to crap or get off the pot. I think Trump will win if he challenges this at the SCOTUS level regarding turning over documents.

Someone on talk radio yesterday suggested (and it’s not too far fetched) that this whole impeachment brouhaha is one way the Democrats are trying to get some leverage against the bad agents that may be indicted resulting from the IG/Durham reports. If so, wonder if word’s gotten to them that some high-end Obama actors are facing possible criminal indictment. I can’t see them going to the mat like this for the FBI asshats.

When he did, Nancy realized she had committed to impeachment based on a lie. Which is probably another reason they’re doing the testimony in secret. Carson King is a 24 yr old guy who held up a sign at some game televised by ESPN asking for beer money. He got so much money, he decided to donate it to a children’s hospital.

Some asshole, Aaron Calvin working for the Des Moines Register found some tweets of his from when he was a teenager that he thought were racist, so he published them. The beer brand and the children’s hospital both dumped Carson, he was humiliated, etc. Cancel culture.

People were so pissed off the Des Moines Register fired Calvin.

Now there’s more. Every year the paper sponsors a state-wide bike ride event, the RAGBRAI, that attracts thousands of riders. They have staff devoted to the event. This year, the DMR staff guy, TJ Juskiewicz, wanted to be able to answer questions the riders have about the whole stink and the paper told him to shut it. Except for the prepared ‘talking points’ they gave him.

So he quit. As did the entire RAGBRAI staff of the Des Moines Register.

    Iowahawk has it

This is one hell of a shoe drop: the entire RAGBRAI (Register’s Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa) staff resigns en masse in protest over the DMRegister’s Carson King fiasco, will start a new event with no affiliation to the paper

I think Macquarie Groul paid about $1.7 billion for the Ports of Long Beach. Perhaps there is some US investor who’d like to lease the Port of Darwin and the associated mega hotel (read future Chicom barracks). Some moron in the Northern Territory government literally gave it away to the CCP for $400 million and then built the hotel complex servicing visiting cruise ships. That was 4 or 5 years ago. So there is around 94 years to run on the lease. Cheap to some US investor for about $400 million.

The Canadian main connection was Frank Guistra, the Canadian evil genius mine owner of Uranium One. He must have been tied with the Clintons early on. Guistra flew Bill around the world in his jet to see some of the mines. A large one in Khazakistan. some in the U.S. & I dunno where else. Guistra, Bill. Breaking: The State Dept is now requiring all Chinese diplomats to notify the US government before visiting any federal, state or local government officials, academic or research institutions. This is to protest restrictions on US diplomats in China
    .
    .
A senior administration official said the goal is not to restrict Chinese diplomats’ movements, but “to basically add a little bit of reciprocity into the way U.S. diplomats are treated in China as opposed to how Chinese diplomats are treated in the USA.”
    .
    .
“In China, our diplomats are forced to seek permission and are frequently denied permission,” to take basic meetings, the official said. Years of efforts to persuade Beijing to change its behavior have failed.

And it looks like Boris might actually have a deal (altho what the MSM isn’t telling you is that the Scots have already gone to court, even tho they don’t have the thing in hand). My friend tells me Merkel has gone to the EU to ask for a rebate on Germany’s EU ‘dues’ because “Brexit”. So if that’s where SHE is, it’s looking good.

Heads up. This is going to be the next big news. Trump tax fraud

ProPublica is saying tax docs and lender docs for the same properties show different valuations/revenue, the lower being the tax docs. Haven’t finished reading, but here you go

Never-Before-Seen Trump Tax Documents Show Major Inconsistencies

The president’s businesses made themselves appear more profitable to lenders and less profitable to tax officials. One expert calls the differing numbers “versions of fraud.”

Documents obtained by ProPublica show stark differences in how Donald Trump’s businesses reported some expenses, profits and occupancy figures for two Manhattan buildings, giving a lender different figures than they provided to New York City tax authorities. The discrepancies made the buildings appear more profitable to the lender — and less profitable to the officials who set the buildings’ property tax.

For instance, Trump told the lender that he took in twice as much rent from one building as he reported to tax authorities during the same year, 2017. He also gave conflicting occupancy figures for one of his signature skyscrapers, located at 40 Wall Street.

    https://www.propublica.org/article/trump-inc-podcast-never-before-seen-trump-tax-documents-show-major-inconsistencies

It would be interesting to know if they really do have tax docs (which would probably be illegal). It might be a ploy to get Trump to release his tax docs in order to disprove the story

connecting some dots here …. they’re devising a backup plan B to the impeachment charade, it’s going to be the 25th amendment

where the fuck are Horowitz and Durham? I swear, this is just another Q-cult ploy to ‘trust the plan’ so that we don’t lock and load

  124. 128 | October 17, 2019 11:22 am

    @ eaglesoars:

I think it’s a ploy. If nothing else, his accountants and tax lawyers put the tax documents together and I seriously doubt that both of these groups would let a fraudulent tax document go through.

Also, there’s a difference for corporations between tax years and fiscal years. Trump’s documents to the lender may have reflected FISCAL year.

I’ve had a chance to read the article. Get this. They got the tax docs (apparently NY state returns) via FIOA filings because THEY ARE PUBLIC RECORDS

ProPublica obtained the property tax documents using New York’s Freedom of Information Law. The documents were public because Trump appealed his property tax bill for the buildings every year for nine years in a row, the extent of the available records. We compared the tax records with loan records that became public when Trump’s lender, Ladder Capital, sold the debt on his properties as part of mortgage-backed securities.

I realize that state returns are different from Federal, but you would THINK that people hammering him about his returns would at least grab these.

Also, I’ve taken out lots of loans. I’ve had to submit tax returns for every damn application. The lender ALWAYS has the tax returns, state and fed. That’s why Deutsche Bank was hit up for them – because they were a lender. If the Ladder Capital loan records are available, the tax records should be in there.

I have a proposal for amending The Constitution:

All religions which deny the validity of the Constitution shall not claim protection under it. The Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

The obvious question that has been raised in the past is why I don’t call for a ban on Islam or Scientology by name? A name’s only a mental label for the concept. Even though it appears to be internally forbidden to change the doctrines of Islam or Scientology, the doctrines also commands the believer to deceive the victims where necessary. Thus deception, such as a name change, by a Muslim or a Scientologist will occur. It’s by identifying a specific toxic attribute of Islam or Scientology that we can properly exclude it from protection under the First Amendment. A fundamental attribute of the doctrines of Islam or Scientology is the denial of real laws. The real acts of legislation by real governments that protect the real rights of the people. In declaring “man made” laws to be invalid Mohammed and Hubbard opened the door to the commission of a multitude of crimes — including rape, robbery, and murder — that would be carried out by Mohammed and Hubbard and for their own personal benefit. This action’s absolutely intolerable in a civil society. In reality The people are the sovereign authority and the sole source of legislation. In reality Islam and Scientology have to go. And in order for us to live a properly Human life we must allow our government to take a proactive role in defending our rights and the collaborators need to be dealt with as well.

  130. 134 | October 17, 2019 1:28 pm

    @ eaglesoars:

Exactly. Any time I refinanced my house, not only did I have to provide three years’ worth of tax returns and my pay statement, the LENDER conducted an appraisal themselves. NO LENDER is going to take an applicant’s statements at face value.

I did notice no one else seems to be running with their story (at least as I could find). And isn’t Pro Publica a Soros operation?

nope. Autopens absolutely re-create the actual signature. This one isn’t even close. Since I posted that, I’ve heard stories about how he signed docs in the hospital until his dying day, but if you look at the signatures, that’s not right either. It’s not the signature of a weak person.

This also brings up the issue of votes in his committee(s). Hubby says he thinks they changed the rule that allowed proxies, so there’s no way he could have voted.

I don’t know if Pro Publica is a Soros thing. I have found them in the past to not be hysterical and at least try to be factual. I’ve not caught them in a lie.

The devil is however in the detail with this latest suggestion of a BREXIT compromise.

The 2024 final decision by Northern Ireland’s governance on whether or not it wants to make this permanent. The requirement by the British Parliament to sign off on this latest plan.
The requirement for AL members of the EU to sign off on the plan.

Frankly I am seeit=ng this this as just a crafty way for Boris to fill the period running up to the 31st October with ‘static’ and words while he craftily runs out the clock.
Hard departure from BREXIT has a certain ring to it and will galvanise some members within the EU to consider their own options before the blade falls on all of then in 2022 when they will not be allowed to EVER leave. Democracy or no democracy, they are stuck in Europe until it collapses bloodily under the weight of its own contradictions.

Boris should cut and run just as soon as he can. Only a couple of weeks until Freedom Day in the UK

ok, Cummings did not SUDDENLY kick it. He died in hospice.

Cummings died while at Gilchrist Hospice Care — an affiliate of Johns Hopkins Medicine, according to an obituary in the Baltimore Sun, his hometown paper. Cummings’s office recently told the Sun the Congress member had undergone a medical procedure, but the severity of his medical condition was not public knowledge.

According to the Sun, Cummings had not been present on Capitol Hill for a roll call vote since September 11. However, he had been active in the committee’s work on the impeachment inquiry; Cummings had sent out subpoenas to the White House as recently as early October.
