Bradykinin (Greek brady-, slow; -kinin, kīn(eîn) to move) is a peptide that promotes inflammation. It causes arterioles to dilate (enlarge) via the release of prostacyclin, nitric oxide, and endothelium-derived hyperpolarizing factor and makes veins constrict, via prostaglandin F2, thereby leading to leakage into capillary beds, due to the increased pressure in the capillaries. Bradykinin is a physiologically and pharmacologically active peptide of the kinin group of proteins, consisting of nine amino acids.
A class of drugs called angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors (ACE inhibitors) increase bradykinin levels by inhibiting its degradation, thereby increasing its blood pressure lowering effect. ACE inhibitors are FDA approved for the treatment of hypertension and heart failure.

Not only is Fuentes declaring his support for Kelly, who President Trump has soured on since removing him from the White House, but he would have been very close when the President allegedly called dead soldiers “losers.” According to The Atlantic, President Trump was reacting to news about the weather being bad at the cemetery when he allegedly insulted their memory. If he really had said it, Fuentes definitely would have heard it. He was the one who delivered the weather report to President Trump personally.
“You can put me on record denying that I spoke with The Atlantic,” Fuentes told Breitbart News on Monday. “I don’t know who the sources are. I did not hear POTUS call anyone losers when I told him about the weather. Honestly, do you think General Kelly would have stood by and let ANYONE call fallen Marines losers?”
He specifically also stated that he believes The Atlantic’s sources “are unlikely first hand accounts.”

@rehajm,
I’ve often wondered if that’s how the Ten Commandments were formulated.
The Lord Jehovah has given unto you these fifteen-CRASH!..TEN! TEN commandments!!!
Where did you get such blasphemy, young man?!
The true explanation of the origin of the Ten Commandments came from now departed Jewish father in law, who told me the following tale:
One day was walking around looking to hand out the commandments. He first came upon a Mexican, and said “Hey, Mexican, you want some commandments?” The Mexican said “God, what’s a commandment?” And God said “You know, like ‘Thou shalt not steal'”. The Mexican said “That’s okay, God. We’re good. Thanks but no thanks.”
God continued along His way and came upon a Frenchman. He said “Hey, Frenchman, you want some commandments?” The Frenchman said “What’s a commandment?” And God said “Oh, like ‘Thou shalt not commit adultery'”. The Frenchman replied “Oh, sorry God, I gotta return a book back to the library”.
Then God comes upon a Jew. He says to the Jew: “Hey Jew, you want some commandments?” The Jew says “How much do they cost?” God says “They’re Free!”. And the Jew then says “In that case, I’ll take ten!”.
(My father in law told us this joke as we were driving around DC. I was impressed how, in one joke, he managed to insult the ethnicity of everyone in the car — his Mexican-American second wife, my French heritage, and his & my wife’s Jewishness.)

Listen to Barr very carefully. They will bring charges if they think that can convict. They declined to prosecute McCabe because the D.C. jury pool is corrupt.
Dots. Connected.
@ eaglesoars:
And that’s it in a nutshell, really. Federal Grand Jury won’t indict or D.C. Jury won’t convict, thinking that illegal acts are okay if they were designed to save us from the Bad Orange Man.
You see it in a less egregious way in civil trials. Jury awards millions to the plaintiff not because the evidence demands it, but because they simply don’t like the defendant, even though they should prevail by a preponderance of the evidence. At least in civil cases, we can request a judgment notwithstanding the verdict where the judge is allowed to step in and basically say “what the HELL is wrong with you?” to the jury (if he doesn’t uphold, appeal is just about guaranteed).
Meanwhile the PEOPLE are screwed out of their justice because of politics. I am not sure if the AG’s office can ask for a change of venue, but if they can, I’d move it to the Western District of Virginia.

Michael Anton has a new book out ““The Stakes: America at the Point of No Return”
excerpt
“Kritarchy” is a Greek neologism that means “rule of judges.” Strictly speaking, we don’t live under a regime in which judges rule alone.
It’s more precise to say that modern American judges are a vital node of the neoliberal oligarchy who exercise far more power than they ought to have, in ways the founders never intended.
.
.
The beginning of this trend is most often identified as the Supreme Court’s 1965 decision Griswold v. Connecticut, which invalidated a state anti-contraception law on the ground that it violated a non-enumerated yet somehow inherent constitutional “right to privacy.” But the United States Constitution does not mention a right to the former, nor does it require invalidating a properly enacted law against the latter. Those who believe there ought to be a constitutionally enumerated right to privacy have a constitutional remedy: Amend the Constitution. Similarly, those who oppose anti-contraception laws have a democratic remedy: Elect legislators who will repeal them.
Judges don’t like either of these remedies, partly because they can take a long time but mostly because they are, in many cases, not likely to occur at all. Kritarchy is a means to an end, the end being the enactment and defense of the progressive elements of neoliberal oligarchy. If those policies can’t garner enough support to win popular or legislative majorities — or worse, are overturned by legislative majorities — the role of the judge is to impose them in the first case and reinstate them in the second.
https://thefederalist.com/2020/09/08/americas-reign-of-judges-has-left-us-with-an-unrecognizable-constitution/
U.S. Ambassador to France and Monaco Jamie McCourt told Breitbart News exclusively on Monday that the Atlantic story about President Donald Trump allegedly bashing troops is untrue.

@ darkwords:
I talked about that with someone last nite and the other person had a good point. Basically, Jen has been around a long time in a lot of theaters, including some ugly war zones. She should have developed a nose for being used by anon sources a long time ago. Either she failed at that or she heard what she wanted to hear.
When you consider all the people that neither Goldberg nor Griffin DIDN’T confirm with – I think at last count 15 ‘first handers’ have denied it – you have to wonder. And even Jen’s tweet said she read the quotes from the Atlantic to one of her sources and was told Trump sometimes said ‘things like that’ or something. Beyond lame. Zero excuse.
