Although Argentina has a Leftist governmnet, the Capital itself is under Rightwing control. The PRO Party nominated Rabbi Sergio Bergman to lead their list of candidates for the Bueno Aires city council. He came in first place by a wide margin.

Argentina – Argentinean Rabbi Sergio Bergman won a seat on the Buenos Aires municipal legislature.

The rabbi lead the vote tally with 45 percent of the votes, garnering triple the number of votes of the candidate who came in second place, Juan Cabandié of the Victory Front Party,  who won 14 percent of the vote.  .

As the top candidate on the center-right party’s slate the rabbi obtained almost half of the votes, in a more than 10-candidate election of Buenos Aires Argentina´s capital, with a population of about 13 million and a budget of $5.9 billion.

Hopefully the Rightwing can win the National elections later this year and begin to due the damage of the Peronistas. This is a warning to the US as well, Peron was in power 65 years ago. Yet his legacy is still felt today. We need to defeat Obama and undue his damage ASAP. If not, his effects will still be felt 70 years ago.
