Rewriting History & The Hypocrisy Of The Left

Certain leftwimp blogs and twits are going scooters trying to paint the Tea Party movement and the G.O.P. in particular with the foul stain of racism.  The photo below began circulating last year, generally with the sentiment that it’s a photo of the Tea Partiers from not-so-long ago:

Here’s a couple of typical captions, verbatim, with typos included:

the nice thing is that the right-wingers are getting dumber because in the picture above, at least all the signs are spelled correctly.

“Stop the race mixing march of the Antichrist.” The only difference between this slogan and the religious right’s current slogans is that they’ve learned not to use the term “race mixing.”

This picture shows they were pushing the same buttons half a century ago that they are today. Anti-christ, communism – it’s all the same as it is today and is well known code. It’s why the protesters will decry socialism today but wouldn’t have under Bush – it’s all tied to race and other social objectives and has nothing really to do with taxation, deficits, and big government.

As we can see. The political right of america are rarely right about what constitutes socialism or communism.

There’s one pesky little problem with their attacks.

ALL OF THOSE PEOPLE PROTESTING WERE DEMOCRATS.

Once again, when liberals run out of logical points to attack conservatives, they attempt to smear the entire G.O.P.  as racists without a shred of evidence, while ignoring the evil racist history of the Democrat Party itself.

Without a shred of evidence, they manufacture racism, promote it, and attempt to paste it onto the platform of the one Party that eliminated slavery, promoted and passed the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and fought against racial discrimination.

The following is a speech that should be reviewed and republished every few years.  While the Democrats were mocking Charleton Heston for his support of the 2nd Amendment, his leadership in the National Rifle Association, and his diagnosis with early Alzheimer’s [did you get that? The Dems actually made fun of a person with an incurable debilitating disorder?] Charleton Heston gave the Keynote Address at the Free Congress Foundation’s 20th Anniversary Gala function thirteen years ago.

Charlton Heston’s Keynote Address at the Free Congress Foundation’s 20th Anniversary Gala

December 20, 1997

What an honor it is to address the Free Congress Foundation. At a glance “Free” reads as a verb rather than an adjective. “Free Congress.” Not a bad directive for Mr. Clinton. Anyway…

I like it when the party of Lincoln honors our free heritage. This nation has been blessed by the minds and mettle of many good people, and indeed Abe was among the best. A man of great moral character, a trait often lacking among our leaders. This is disturbing, but not without remedy. One good election can correct such ills.

Above all, I hope those of us gathered here tonight have more in common with Mr. Lincoln than just party affiliation. Better that we grasp a common vision than simply wear the cloak. Even our President pretends to be a conservative when it suits him. We must be more than that.

I know… it’s not easy. Imagine being point man for the National Rifle Association, preserving the right to keep and bear arms. I ran for office, I was elected, and now I serve… as a moving target for pundits who’ve called me everything from “ridiculous” and “duped” to a “brain-injured, senile and crazy old man.”

Maybe that comes with the territory. But as I have stood in the crosshairs of those who aim at Second Amendment freedom, I have realized that guns are not the only issue, and I am not the only target. It is much, much bigger than that – which is what I want to talk to you about today.

Obama snubs Hispanics

This comes as no shocker, the Democrats use Hispanics as their little serfs. I’m Hispanic and can tell you first hand that Progressives are racist. They think we are victims and can’t survive without them. Obama has the same mentality. After getting 66% of the Hispanic vote, Obama has names only 1 Hispanic to the cabinet, Bill Richardson. He was named Commerce Secretary, but he should have been Secretaryof State. He’s more qualified than Hillary for this position. But it don’t matter, the Hispanic leadership are slaves to their White Progressive masters and are happy with their crumbs. The Hispanic leaders have no shame, to me they are traitors!

The Richardson Snub

This isn’t about Richardson, who might be very happy heading for ribbon cuttings in Toledo while Clinton heads for blue-ribbon summits in Tel Aviv. This is about something larger. Richardson is the nation’s only Hispanic governor and the most prominent Hispanic elected official in the country. And the way he was treated doesn’t say much about Obama’s respect for the Hispanic community. Nor does the fact that Obama seems to have filled his top four Cabinet posts — justice, treasury, defense, and state — and couldn’t find a single Hispanic to put in any of them.

America’s largest minority took a chance on Obama despite the fact that the president-elect had no track record in reaching out to them and didn’t break a sweat trying to win their votes. They deserve better.

I couldn’t have summed this up better.
