Trump now tied for 1st

The  elite Republicans have begun their attacks on Donald Trump, yet he continues to resonate. According to a new CNN poll Donald Trump is now tied for first with progressive Republican Mike Huckabee. That said, there are some warning signs for him. 43% of Republcians don’t want to see him run. I believe there are several factors for that. One is he’s a NYer and many in the GOP hate people from the North East, even if they agree with them. Another factor is that the Progressive/Rockefeller Wing of the GOP has under its spell a significant portion of GOP voters with the same old rhetorical the GOP has spewed for 21 years. Trump is  threat to their Post Reagan monopoly and they view him as a bigger enemy than Obama.

Donald Trump can not easily be dismissed. Whether you like him or not, he is taking on subjects that the other Republicans refuse to touch. He’s calling out our suicidal trade policies with China, How our supposed allies really just take advantage of us and the true nature of Islamic Imperialism. Trump is a flawed man and not a savior, but his message is spot on. He manhandles the media in a way no other Republican since Reagan has at a national level. My advise to the Republican establishment, let him run and let the voters decide the merit of his ideas.

The Wall Street Journal interviews Donald Trump and gives the GOP establishment a warning. If he can’t win the GOP nomination, he might run as an Independent. Trump discusses Libya, Iraq, China and OPEC. Trump also states he will only go to war for resources. Also observe how he conducts the interview.

Republicans should learn from Trump how to handle the media.

Trump shows Obama no mercy

President Barack Hussein Obama is personally popular with even those who don’t support his policies. A Messiah like myth has built around him by the Progressive machine. The Republicans have assisted in elevating Obama as God like, by not going after him personally. This protection of Obama’s persona is why his 2012 campaign will not be about his policies, but him. Romney, Daniels, Pawlanty. Well one Republican refuses to play the Obama is above personal attack game, Donald Trump.

Just how weak is the 2102 Republican presidential field? Newt Gingrich– the perennial benchwarmer who every four years tells anyone who’ll listen that he’s really, really going to run (all the while pitching his latest thrilling book, often selling dozens) but whose negatives are through the roof (see Gingrich, Newt: Divorces, Government Shutdowns, Political Flip-Floppery) – is really, really going to run this time.

In second place – Donald Trump. Seriously.

[….]

Mr. Trump is doing the one thing all the other candidates are terrified of: Going straight at Mr. Obama. He doesn’t believe the oft-repeated claim by the MSM that Mr. Obama is “unbeatable” in 2012. He doesn’t think Mr. Obama is the greatest orator since Cicero (you don’t see Mr. Trump with a teleprompter). And he thinks voters will understand when he lays out the complexities that America now faces.

For too long the Republican Party has refused to fight dirty with the Left. Many Republicans were destroyed by the viciousness of the Progressive machine. Now finally in Queens, NY native Donald Trump is there someone on the Right ready to engages in a nasty fight. Already he’s having an effect on the Obama regime. Joe Biden’s daughter did a Facebook page calling for the Boycott of The apprentice. One of Obama’s advisers dismissed and ridiculed Trump, but in a very nervous way.

Today Donald Trump continued his barrage on Obama by taking page from the Left who blamed Bush for everything. Trump is no blaming Obama for high oil prices and accused the President of being OPEC’s puppet. This is something the other Republicans refuse to say. All they repeat is drill, baby drill. That’s not good enough, you have to pin the blame on Obama and demonize him like Trump is doing.

Clearly Trump is in their heads since why are the Obama people only mentioning him? They know very well that Trump not only doesn’t respect Obama’s performance as President. He also doesn’t respect Obama as a man and will give him a fight he has never had. It’s time for a total war of personal destruction on Obama.

Palin supports Trump’s Obama investigation

Donald Trump is spending real money on investigators trying to get the truth about Obama’s Birth Certificate. The issue here isn’t where Obama was born, it’s why does he not have to show a birth certificate. A cloud of mystery surrounds Obama’s past. Donald Trump wants to lift the veil off this mystery. one person supporting this investigation is none other than Sarah Palin.

Sarah Palin was interviewed live today on Fox News’ Justice with Judge Jeanine, and was asked to weigh in on the rather sudden addition of Donald Trump’s voice to the “Birther movement“, as well as the money “The Donald” is devoting to researching the existence of the president’s birth certificate. Palin’s answer? She noted it wasn’t that unthinkable for Trump to be curious about Obama’s birth certificate, as it was an issue that has transfixed a sizable segment of the body politic.

[….]

Palin also expressed hope that Trump’s money and resources could counter the $2 million she claims Obama has spent to keep the certificate hidden from the public. Her attitude suggested a quiet, but not overt, encouragement of Trump’s investigation.

The real reason for this investigation is to exposed what Obama is hiding. Once exposed, even if its something minor like who his real father is the damage will be huge. Obama’s 2012 campaign is premised on one thing, his personality. If it turns out he’s lying, people will no longer view Obama’s personality favorably. This will take away one of his key political weapon.

Without his personality, Obama can’t run on his policies. Hence 2012 will come to down to a Tea Party Conservatism vs. Transnational Progressivism. That is a battle our side can win.
