Goats, See?

Another image emailed me by Savage’s Girl who has a secret fondness for goat trees. Those still in the tree aren’t ripe yet, but the owner of the orchard is picking up the fallen ones before they rot. Looks like a good mid-summer harvest.

Of course, once you take the ripe goats home, they need exercise  to keep them from going mushy. A wise goatman provides a way for them to feed in the fields across the stream, finalizing the ripening process prior to auctioning them off on an Overnight Open Thread.

Eeeew… Oh Wait. Nevermind.

Whoa. Full moon? That scared me the first time I saw it, but not to worry. Actually I wasn’t going to post it here, except Savage’s Girl brought up the topic in an odd but innocuous email –it had to do with goats and massages and guys with hairy backs, and I’ll not describe it further.  Y’all can pester her yourselves for the details on an Overnight Open Thread.

Overnight Wood

Of all the ubiquitous “Demotivational Posters” found all over teh internest, this one is my favorite by far. This exact thing happened to me the day I got an account over at The Swamp, and I didn’t even know it happened at the time.

Fortunately I was banned rather quickly  before the tentacles had the chance to worm into my morsus mihi, and I enjoyed a rather painless recovery.  My eviction from The Village didn’t stop me from visiting, but it certainly piqued my curiosity about “The Stalkers,” and this blog in particular. My opinion changed instantly, and without touching the insanity wood.

My story is not unique, but an Overnight Open Thread is. Go ahead. Touch the wood. I dare you.
