Another example of American Dhimminess

Obama team drafting letter to heal Iran rift: report

LONDON (Reuters) – Officials in U.S. President Barack Obama’s administration are drafting a letter to Iran from the president aimed at unfreezing relations and opening the way for direct talks, Britain’s Guardian newspaper reported on Thursday.

The U.S. State Department has been working on drafts of the letter since Obama was elected last November, the report said. It was a response to a letter of congratulations sent by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad after Obama’s poll victory.

The letter gives assurances that Washington does not want to overthrow the Iranian administration, but instead seeks changes in its behavior, the paper said. It would be addressed to the Iranian people and sent directly to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei , or released as an open letter.

This is sick, Iran is an enemy and we should help those that want to overthrow them.  Change, what change? This is continuation of the Bush I /Clinton/BushII Dhimmi policy.

The Egyptians are smart, they know Iran is the trouble in that region. This public attack is more evidence that Egypt is on the side of Israel against the Islamo-Fascists.

Egypt attacks Iran and allies in Arab world

Cairo chides Iran, Hamas, Hizbullah, says cooperation over Gaza provokes conflict in the Middle East

Egypt aired its grievances against Iran, the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas and the Lebanese Shiite group Hizbullah, saying they worked together in the fighting over Gaza to provoke conflict in the Middle East.

“(They tried) to turn the region to confrontation in the interest of Iran, which is trying to use its cards to escape Western pressure … on the nuclear file,” Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit said in an interview with Orbit satellite channel broadcast on Wednesday.

Good for Egypt, they are standing up to Iran and know Israel is not their enemies. This Israeli-Egyptian alliance is a very powerful counter balance to the Iranian-Jihadi alliance. Things are getting interesting.

The West Keeps giving into Jihad

A great article about the Dhimmification of the West.

Caving in to Islamists

CAN this be right? Last month I wondered aloud whether 2009 would differ from previous years and see a reinvigoration of the West’s commitment to free speech. Instead, with January not yet over, another assault on freedom of expression has arrived portending yet another year of stifled speech.

Last Wednesday, a Dutch court ordered the prosecution of far right-wing Dutch MP Geert Wilders for inciting hatred and discrimination against Muslims in his film, Fitna. The three-judge appeals panel said: “The instigation of hatred in a democratic society constitutes such a serious matter (that it is necessary) to draw a clear boundary in the public debate.”

In response to many public complaints against Wilders, the court rejected the original view of Dutch prosecutors who, back in June, said: “That comments are hurtful and offensive for a large number of Muslims does not mean that they are punishable. Freedom of expression fulfils an essential role in public debate in a democratic society. That means that offensive comments can be made in a political debate.”

This is a shame after 9/11 we are giving into our enemies. I wish we had a strong leader to stand up for us.

Obama showing his Dhimmi Pro-Islamic colors goes to the Arabs for his 1st television interview as President. Why did he not give it to an American Network? He is a Dhimmi like our last 3 Presidents.

Obama chooses Arab network for first TV interview

CAIRO, Egypt (AP) – President Barack Obama on Tuesday chose an Arabic satellite TV network for his first formal television interview as president, delivering a message to the Muslim world that “Americans are not your enemy.”

The interview underscored Obama’s commitment to repair relations with the Muslim world that have suffered under the previous administration.

The president expressed an intention to engage the Middle East immediately and his new envoy to the region, former Sen. George J. Mitchell, was expected to arrived in Egypt on Tuesday for a visit that will also take him to Israel, the West Bank, Jordan, Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

“My job to the Muslim world is to communicate that the Americans are not your enemy,” Obama told the Saudi-owned, Dubai-based Al-Arabiya news channel.

When will we have Non Dhimmi Leaders. The only one was Rudy and the Media destroyed him. Obama is another Jihadi ass kisser. I’m really sick of seeing this. Oh well I am just one person complaining about things I can do nothing about.
