‘You Might Think It’s Barack the Bomb Thrower’

As the lipstick war rages, Barack Obama is standing up for the rights of suspected terrorists.

On Monday in Michigan, Obama became exercised when talking about the need to give even suspected terrorists legal rights.

“We may think this is Mohammed the terrorist,’’ he said at a campaign rally, but “it might be Mohammed the cab driver. You might think it’s Barack the bomb thrower. But it might be Barack the guy running for president.’’

Continuing, he got more heated, his voice booming. Referring to the Constitution, he said: “Don’t mock the Constitution! Don’t make fun of it! Don’t suggest that it’s un-American to abide by what the founding fathers set up! It’s worked pretty well for 200 years!!’’

He finished with a sigh: “These people.”

They’re going to try to argue it’s not connected.

LEBANON, Va. — “That’s not change,” Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., said of what Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., is offering.

“You know, you can put lipstick on a pig,” Obama said, “but it’s still a pig.”

Salon in Full-On Smear Mode

The irrelevant online magazine Salon is leading the charge to smear Sarah Palin, with two absolutely disgusting articles today, one by Islamic apologist Juan Cole comparing Palin to “Muslim fundamentalists:” What’s the difference between Palin and Muslim fundamentalists? Lipstick.

Interesting that Cole seems to think this is a negative comparison, when his entire career is based on making excuses for Islamist fanatics.

And another from leftist hack Gary Kamiya, dripping with repellent misogyny: The dominatrix. You would never see such an article about a male candidate.
