NY Times continues to Push The Obama Boom theme

With the Progressive Democrats in political trouble, they’re up to their old tricks. With Arizona passing their tough Immigration law, the Leftist media is now trying to scar Hispanics. Harry Reid is pushing for an Amnesty Bill to get Latin votes for the midterms. However, this is not their main weapon. The Tranzi Progressive media is now promoting the Economy. They are exaggerating some signs of rebound and are proclaiming an Obama economic boom. The NY Times once again has another story promoting this talking point.

PORTLAND, Ore. — The docks are humming again at this sprawling Pacific port, with clouds of golden dust billowing off the piles of grain spilling into the bellies of giant tankers.

“Things are looking up,” said Dan Broadie, a longshoreman. No longer killing time at the union hall while waiting for work, instead he is guiding a mechanized spout pouring 44,000 tons of wheat into the Arion SB, bound for the Philippines.

At malls from New Jersey to California, shoppers are snapping up electronics and furniture, as fears of joblessness yield to exuberance over rising stock prices. Tractor trailers and railroad cars haul swelling quantities of goods through transportation corridors, generating paychecks for truckers and repair crews.

Expect to keep hearing how great the economy is. When the economy was doing well in 2005, the Tranzi Progressive media kept saying how bad it was. They talked the economy down in the media during the Bush years. Now they are talking it up in hopes of creating confidence. This is an example of Leftist propaganda.

NY Times proclaims Economic Boom

This is just another example of how the Totalitarian Progressives twist and distort the news for their convenience. When George W. Bush was president and the economy recovered in 2003/2004, the NY times and other Totalitarian Progressive propaganda outlets kept saying the economy was bad. They emphasized low wages and blamed Bush for it instead of globalization which was the real culprit. They kept comparing Bush’s to Clinton’s economy when that was a dishonest argument. In the 90’s globalization hadn’t taken full effect, and by the 2000’s it did. Bush’s mistake was emphasizing tax cuts and not major tax reform to make American competitive and incentivize creating jobs with good wages here. This was not his fault as no economic expert on the right or left knew the extent of America’s economic disadvantage. Now that Barack Hussein Obama is President they are proclaiming an economic boom!

The American economy appears to be in a cyclical recovery that is gaining strength. Firms have begun to hire and consumer spending seems to be accelerating.

That is what usually happens after particularly sharp recessions, so it is surprising that many commentators, whether economists or politicians, seem to doubt that such a thing could possibly be happening.

Usually you can depend on the White House to view the economy with the most rose-tinted glasses available. But it was not until last week, after a strong employment report, that President Obama started to sound a little optimistic.

Obama Economic Boom adds 162,000 Jobs

It’s finally happened! The Obama Economic Boom has finally produced jobs! The media is celebratory and declaring good times are here and that Barack Hussein Obama is an economic guru! This could not be farther from the truth. In reality all that has happened is that the economy has stabilized. Employers have reduced as much as they can and can cut no further. However, they are not hiring in large numbers as they did in previous recoveries. After 1 year of stimulus spending, the 162,000 jobs create come out to 4,320,987 dollars per job. A very inefficient return on all that money.

Boosted by improving economic prospects and a flurry of census hiring, the U.S. added 162,000 jobs in March, the best job growth in three years and a potential turning point for the slowly-healing labor markets.

The Labor Department said the unemployment rate was unchanged at 9.7%, as economists had expected.

Economists had forecasted slightly stronger job growth of 190,000 jobs, but the figures are still a vast improvement from a year ago, when the U.S. was losing hundreds of thousands of jobs a month. March marked the third month of job growth in the past six months.

The 162,000 jobs created last month were the most since March 2007, nine months before the Great Recession began. In another positive, the Labor Department said it revised February’s payrolls data to show 14,000 jobs were lost, down from 36,000 previously, and to show payrolls rose by 14,000 in January, reversing an earlier decline of 26,000.

It’s important to note that while job cuts clearly slowed last month, some of the lift in hiring was as a result of the Census Bureau ramping up on staff for the 2010 Census by hiring 48,000 workers. Those jobs will disappear beginning in the third quarter as the Census is completed.

When Bush was President a job gain of 162,000 would have been considered disappointing, but under Obama they are celebrating. Take away the 48,000 Census workers and the job numbers would have been an anemic private sector growth of 123,000 jobs. With Obama’s approval sliding further even in a CBS/NY Times poll, Americans know things are not good.

The media will do all it can to help their leader. As the criticism of Barack Hussein Obama’s Totalitarian policies increase and he asks people to tone down their comments, the American people will ignore him. The people are angry and are tired of this Serpent in Chief and his 3rd World style demagoguery.  Now matter how much the administration will spin we are in economic good times, the public isn’t buying it. The American people have a waken and are tired of being manipulated.

Obama not up to the Job

Barack Hussein Obama was the most hyped Presidential candidate ever. The Progressive Media pushed the propaganda that he would solve all the world’s problems. With Obama the spin was that the Economy would boom like never before, the Dar Al Islam will want peace and no more Climate change. Well reality has been different, Islamo-Imperialist aggression continues, the economy is stagnant and man still can’t control nature. Clearly Obama is the biggest fraud pushed onto the American public since 70’s Per rocks.

Despite the efforts of some sections of opinion to talk the place up, America is mired in unhappiness, all the worse for the height from which Obamania has fallen. The economy remains troublesome. There is growth – a good last quarter suggested an annual rate of as high as six per cent, but that figure is probably not reliable – and the latest unemployment figures, last Friday, showed a levelling off. Yet 15 million Americans, or 9.7 per cent of the workforce, have no job. Many millions more are reduced to working part-time. Whole areas of the country, notably in the north and on the eastern seaboard, are industrial wastelands. The once mighty motor city of Detroit appears slowly to be being abandoned, becoming a Jurassic Park of the mid-20th century; unemployment among black people in Mr Obama’s own city of Chicago is estimated at between 20 and 25 per cent. One senior black politician – a Democrat and a supporter of the President – told me of the wrath in his community that a black president appeared to be unable to solve the economic problem among his own people. Cities in the east such as Newark and Baltimore now have drug-dealing as their principal commercial activity: The Wire is only just fictional.

The Progressive Machine is doing all it can to pain a rosy picture, but the public doesn’t buy it. The magic of Barack Hussein Obama is wearing off and he’s being exposed as a mediocre leader. He is an Ideologue of a radical Totalitarian political belief which has caused misery for 100 years across the Earth. He is not cut out for the job and no amount of spin can hide it.
