PROTEST TOMORROW AT LONDON FREE PRESS BUILDING vs. ANTI-ISRAEL BIAS DURING GAZA FLOTILLA MISSION

VoiceofCanada, July 11/11: The op-ed the London Free Press refused to print: ‘Blue Berets for Peace vigil in London,’ by Gary McHale [PDF, article only]

I am calling on all those who value good journalism free from bias and the undue influence of special interest groups to join me in front of the London Free Press building tomorrow from 11:15 until 1:00pm in protest against the paper’s biased reporting of the Gaza flotilla story.

Members of the pro-Israel Never Again Group from Hamilton and Canadian Advocates for Charter Equality in Caledonia are coming to offer their full support. They will also be joining me during my daily Blue Beret vigil at the London Muslim Mosque, and you are welcome to be part of this vigil as well.

DETAILS

10:00 – 11:00 am: Daily Blue Beret vigil, London Muslim Mosque, 151 Oxford St. W., London, ON [MAP]

11:15-1:00 pm: London Free Press, 369 York St., London [MAP] There are parking lots in area. Do NOT park at LFP building.

Protest Instructions: before deciding to attend – especially at my daily vigil – I ask that you review the attached ‘OUR GOALS TODAY’ document [PDF]

Please…NO signs (I will bring), NO bullhorns, NO yelling, NO swearing, keep sidewalk clear.

Welcome to the Feminist Movement circa 1970. Need I explain the FAIL?

Here’s a guy minding his own business when he stumbles on a protest about, um, women, and a nice looking girl walks up to show him a full color nudie poster, just to out-feminist the ~~mannish boy~~ girl who thinks that good-looking women are cows.

Ms. Waldo realized that although Mr. Stumble was very interested in the attractive presentation of the girl on the right, he had no chance with that kinda-young kinda-wow annoyance.

Fast forward to the present: Mr. Stumble and Ms. Waldo-Stumble now have three adult offspring, two grandchildren, and The Overnight Open Thread.

Hey Guys!

Here are some photos from the rally in NYC yesterday morning, if you’re interested:

I was a little worried when I got up because the the weather was looking kinda bad – rainy and really hot, but we had an excellent turnout! The first photo is of the puny counter-protest. They were such an anemic looking bunch, I didn’t even try to get a closer look. There were a few scattered moonbats on the periphery of our rally, but they were pretty bland and they were keeping their mouths shut and the police did an excellent job of keeping them out of our hair. Our crowd was GREAT!! Lot’s of firemen and construction workers here this time and they seemed like they’ve just about had enough of this mosque nonsense.This rally didn’t feel as ‘festive’ as some I’ve attended – it was in fact, quite appropriately, a little grim. Everybody was perfectly aware of what this victory mosque signifies and they didn’t try to soften their anger with humorous signs. It was awesome! I could really feel a growing momentum. We may be outnumbered up here, but were scrappy. Don’t count us out just yet! 🙂
