Obama has a temper tantrum over deal he scuttled

Last night Bill Clinton was claiming the economy is set to explode and we are better off than we were 4 tears ago. Watching the Democratic National Convention, one would think that Obama is this national uniter and healer. That he is an economic genius who has restored prosperity back to levels not seen since the 90’s. This theme is what I have mockingly called the Obama Boom.  It’s a fantasy that things are awesome and nver have been better.

Bob Woodword’s new book strikes a nail through the Obama Boom lie. Bill Clinton claims that Obama tried to reach out to the Republicans on a debt deal.  The truth is that Speaker John Boehner was ready to compromise on a  deal. He agreed to some tax increases in return for massive spending cuts. Obamaligula then tried to press Bohener for more tax increases. The Speaker said no and the fake god-king  had a tantrum.

An explosive mix of dysfunction, miscommunication, and misunderstandings inside and outside the White House led to the collapse of a historic spending and debt deal that President Obama and House Speaker John Boehnerwere on the verge of reaching last summer, according to revelations in author Bob Woodward’s latest book.

The book, “The Price of Politics,” on sale Sept. 11, 2012, shows how close the president and the House speaker were to defying Washington odds and establishing a spending framework that included both new revenues and major changes to long-sacred entitlement programs.

But at a critical juncture, with an agreement tantalizingly close, Obama pressed Boehner for additional taxes as part of a final deal — a miscalculation, in retrospect, given how far the House speaker felt he’d already gone.

    [….]

When Boehner finally did call back, he jettisoned the entire deal. Obama lost his famous cool, according to Woodward, with a “flash of pure fury” coming from the president; one staffer in the room said Obama gripped the phone so tightly he thought he would break it.

“He was spewing coals,” Boehner told Woodward, in what is described as a borderline “presidential tirade.”

“He was pissed…. He wasn’t going to get a damn dime more out of me. He knew how far out on a limb I was. But he was hot. It was clear to me that coming to an agreement with him was not going to happen, and that I had to go to Plan B.”

Funny how this is not reported. It was our Phoney Pharaoh who broke the deal wanting to get more of his way. Yet the media and Clinton claimed he wants to work with Republicans. This is a lie as big as the Obama Boom myth. The truth doesn’t matter to the media and the Obama cult. This man is a walking deity, who is infallible.

Chad Ochocinco now twitter buds with John Boehner

New England Patriots player Chad Ochocino formerly known as Chad Johnson has a new friend. While watching the False Messiah’s State of the Union speech, he noticed Speaker John Boehner. Bohener seems serious and not that happy. Ochocinco tweeted Boehner to tell him to cheer up. To his shock, the Speaker tweeted back!

Apparently still concerned Wednesday, Ochocinco asked Boehner in another message if he was in better spirits, and told him: “If all else seems bad in life, just remember I love you kind sir.”

Boehner thanked Ochocinco in a tweet and wished him good luck in the Super Bowl. Ochocinco said Thursday the two exchanged contact information and made plans to meet after the Patriots’ season is over.

New England plays the New York Giants for the National Football League championship on Feb. 5.

“We’ll see you in the playoffs next year,” Boehner added, using “Bengals” and their fans’ cheer “WhoDey” to tag his response on Twitter.

John Boehner is a class act, despite my political agreements with him. Hopefully, Ochocinco will be influence politically by this meeting. If nothing else, they will establish a friend ship, just like we have here on this is Overnight Open Thread!

Boehner still wants to work with Obama

This is why I despise the Republican Party. They are Progressives masquerading as Conservatives. Political Eunuch John Boehner says he wants to work with Obama and hasn’t given up on him.

Despite the partisan atmosphere in Washington and the quagmire on Capitol Hill, House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) says he’s not abandoned efforts to cut bipartisan deals with President Barack Obama.

Boehner, though, added that the partisan stalemate is not his fault, or the GOP’s.

“I never give up, and I’ll never give up on this president and this process to try to help do what the American people sent us here to do ,” Boehner declared on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

Kissing Obama’s ass will go nowhere. The GOP doesn’t get it!

John Boehner expresses support for Occupy Wall Street

The Progressive Republican establishment continues to show respect for the Neo-Marxist Occupy Wall Street movement, that they never gave the Tea party. Obama’s political eunuch, the useless leftist John Boehner expresses support for Occupy Wall Street. That’s right, he understands their frustrations. That’s right, he understands their Marxist based demands.

Speaker John Boehner said Monday that he understood the “frustrations” driving the Occupy Wall Street movement – but urged protesters to be peaceful to prevent demonstrations from blowing out of control.

“I understand people’s frustrations,” Boehner said during an appearance at the McConnell Center at the University of Louisville. “The economy is not producing jobs like they want and there’s lot of erosion of confidence in our government and frankly, under the First Amendment, people have the right to speak out … but that doesn’t mean they have the permission to violate the law.”

Did any major Democratic said they understood the frustrations of the Tea party? Nope, that movement was labeled Fascist and racist. Yet Republican leaders genuflect to the Neo-Marxist OWS movement. It’s becoming apparnet the Republican Party’s leadership is Progressive and sympathizes with Socialist goals.
