The Stimulus Failure

The so called Stimulus Plan implemented by the regime of Barack Hussein Obama, was to supposed to kick off the greatest economic boom ever. They claimed it would add millions of new jobs and restore prosperity. Reality has stated otherwise as the effects have been minimal. Obama claimed 95% of workers got a tax break. As if $500 a year extra will help anyone?  This amount comes out to about $10 a week, it’s a joke. The kicker is that this extra money must be declared as income. The Cash for clunkers money is also taxable as well. This spending plan was just adding debt to the Nation to reward Progressive organizations. It was not an Economic plan at all.

Assuming that Barack Obama holds another White House press conference—his last was back in July—here’s a question worth asking: If the stimulus is truly the success you and your team claim, why are you so reluctant to use the word?

It’s a timely question, with Congress returning to Washington this week after a year of record spending. Right now the spotlight is on the effort by the Democratic leadership to ram through a health-care bill—any health-care bill—in time for the president to declare victory in his State of the Union. But a second stimulus may not be far behind, with the House having already passed a version before members left for Christmas.

The House approved its $154 billion second stimulus package in its last vote of 2009, little more than a week after a policy address Mr. Obama delivered at the Brookings Institution. In that Dec. 8 speech, he reviewed the progress of the earlier stimulus—the $787 billion American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009—and used the occasion to call for additional congressional spending. The headlines rightly described what he was proposing as a “second stimulus.”

So Obama hopes to create jobs by borrowing more money. Clearly, Mr. Hussein is economically ignorant by his actions. The more the Government borrows, the less capital available for the private market. If there is no capital available in the market, no job creation or investments. The Government is like a vacuum, it’s sucking up what is needed to create jobs. Clearly Obama wants a governmnet run economic system. His 3rd World Ideology is showing by his actions.

Barack Hussein Obama is once again a proven liar. The so called Stimulus has only made things worse. It was put an ankle bracelet around the American economy. By borrowing more money, The Progressive Regime of Barack Hussein Obama is making sure we stay in economic hard times. Maybe that’s their plan all along. The Cloward-Piven Strategy calls for overwhelming the system to collapse it. So far, they are succeeding with this increase debt burden.

Non-Existent Jobs Created or Saved in Non-Existent Congressional Districts

Maybe these jobs are being saved or created in states #51-57?

Here’s a stimulus success story: In Arizona’s 15th congressional district, 30 jobs have been saved or created with just $761,420 in federal stimulus spending. At least that’s what the Web site set up by the Obama administration to track the $787 billion stimulus says.

There’s one problem, though: There is no 15th congressional district in Arizona; the state has only eight districts.

And ABC News has found many more entries for projects like this in places that are incorrectly identified.

Late Monday, officials with the Recovery Board created to track the stimulus spending, said the mistakes in crediting nonexistent congressional districts were caused by human error.

“We report what the recipients submit to us,” said Ed Pound, Communications Director for the Board.

Pound told ABC News the board receives declarations from the recipients – state governments, federal agencies and universities – of stimulus money about what program is being funded.

“Some recipients clearly don’t know what congressional district they live in, so they appear to be just throwing in any number. We expected all along that recipients would make mistakes on their congressional districts, on jobs numbers, on award amounts, and so on. Human beings make mistakes,” Pound said.

Uh huh.

You’re telling me that people at universities and at government offices that make their living at pumping their federal Congressman for funds suddenly forget the congressional district they live in?  And what’s more, are telling federal regulators that they’re in districts that don’t even exist?

I find it hard to believe that this is purely accidental, over and over and over again.  Rather, I think what is going on is that these folks know they have to tell the Obama people something to make them happy so they can stick it on a website and make it look like Obama’s stimulus is doing something besides selling our grandchildren into debt slavery.  They probably figure that since, hey, they’re the Obama administration, and since Obama is so very popular (well, not really, actually only 49% approve of his performance, while 51% disapprove), nobody would bother to factcheck their recovery website.

That, or the Obama administration and its cronies have a more serious competency problem than I had thought.

57% of People view Porkulus as a failure

According to a new Gallup Poll, 57% of the American people view the Porkulus bill as a failure. The American people realize that this bill was not about improving the economy. It was grand larceny. It was an excuse for the Transnational Totalitarian Progressives to rob the American people.

WASHINGTON — Six months after President Obama launched a $787 billion plan to right the nation’s economy, a majority of Americans think the avalanche of new federal aid has cost too much and done too little to end the recession.

A USA TODAY/Gallup Poll found 57% of adults say the stimulus package is having no impact on the economy or making it worse. Even more —60% — doubt that the stimulus plan will help the economy in the years ahead, and only 18% say it has done anything to help improve their personal situation.

That skepticism underscores the challenge Obama faces in trying to convince the public that the stimulus has helped turn the economy around. It also could complicate the administration’s plans to overhaul the nation’s health care system.

“This is a wake-up call for the administration.” says House Minority Whip Eric Cantor, R-Va. “People see the stimulus hasn’t worked, and now you want to lay on over $1 trillion in a health care plan.”

The only accomplishment this so called stimulus has done is add $700 Billion to the deficit and the national debt. Most of this money was borrowed from the Chinese who have no good intentions for America. The Progressives don’t care, they just wanted this money for themselves so they can take implement their Progressive ideas.

Americans are now awake and are rejecting this evil ideology. We have defeated Nazism and Communism. The Progressives will suffer the same fate as their ideological cousins. Americans believe in Freedom, not Feudalism.
