Nothing makes a great afternoon than Islamic on Islamic violence. Syria shot down a Turkish F-4 Today near its Mediterranean coast.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish prime minister claimed that Syria had apologised for shooting down the plane, according to Turkish media.

“Syria immediately offered a very serious apology for the incident and admitted it was a mistake”, Haberturk daily newspaper quoted Mr Erdogan as saying onboard a plane on the way to Turkey from Brazil.

Mr Erdogan also said the pilot and navigator had survived: “At this moment the air force and navy are conducting search and rescue operations … luckily our pilots are alive, we have just lost a plane.”

The incident prompted the calling of an emergency security meeting to be led later on Friday by Mr Erdogan and attended by top military and intelligence chiefs.

Let them kill each other.

Western Intelligence assisting anti-Christian Ethnic Cleansers in Syria

Reports are that teh CIA, MI6 and other Western Intelligence agencies are assisting the Muslim Brotherhood rebels. As has been documented, the Islamic rebels have ethnically cleansed Syrian Christians from towns. They are doing this with the blessing of the West. Before anyone goes into Obama bashing, Mitt Romney and the Republican party support the Muslim Brotherhood rebels and refuse to condemn the ethnic cleansing of Syrian Christians.

Western intelligence agents in Syria are passing vital intelligence gathered by U.S. and British agencies to rebel forces in the country, according to a report in a British newspaper.

CIA operatives and their counterparts in MI6, the United Kingdom’s foreign-intelligence wing, have been gathering reams of raw intelligence gleaned from American and British satellites and other electronic intelligence assets in the skies above Syria, according to reports in the U.K’s Daily Star.

After parsing though that raw data, analysts in Washington and London have passed on those bits of actionable intelligence to CIA and MI6 agents on the ground, who then pass the information to rebel leaders.

That information includes images of troop movements of forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, as well as captured communications between top Syrian military officials in Damascus to commanders in the field, a British defense source told the Star.

That information has allowed rebel leaders to evacuate areas targeted by Assad’s troops and possibly plan counterstrikes against offensives by government forces.

Any CIA officer involved in this should be put on trial for supporting ethnic cleansing. We are supporting the same people who attacked us on 9/11 and killed our soldiers in Iraq. But no one cares about dead Arab Christians.

Hizb’Allah might transfer their Scuds in Syria to Lebanon

It has been reported now for several years that Hizb’Allah has Scud missiles. These weapons were stored in Syria and would only be transferred to Lebanon in the event of a war with Israel. With Assad losing parts of the country to the Muslim Brotherhood/Al-Qaeda linked Free Syrian Army, Hizb’Allah is now thinking of transferring these weapons to Lebanon. This could set the stage for Israel to make a tough decision. Strike the Scuds as they’re being transferred and risk an all out war with Hizb’Alllah or allow the convoys to proceed.

Concern is mounting in Israel over the possibility that Hezbollah will try to move sophisticated weaponry, including Scud missiles, from Syria to Lebanon to protect them in the event of Syrian President Bashar Assad’s downfall.

The concern stems from reports that Assad might be losing control over certain military capabilities including an air defense base which was captured by rebels earlier this week.

[….]

The understanding until now has been that the missiles would only be transferred to Lebanon in the event of a war with Israel but not before as to prevent a potential Israeli military strike.

[….]

If this happens and Israel becomes aware of the transfer, the government will have to decide if it should attack and intercept the transfer or ignore it to prevent such a strike from escalating into an all-out war with Hezbollah and Syria.

Israel can’t let the weapon transfer occur. They should strike the convoys once they are in Lebanese territory. If it means a conflict with Hizb’Allah, then all Israel should do a total war style of fighting on the Shia parts of Lebanon.

Syrian Rebels set up Journalists to be shot

Mitt Romney and the Republican establishment are trying to connive Conservatives to support a Syrian war to install a Muslim Brotherhood regime in that nation. They harp about the alleged massacres, committed by Assad, while not discussing the ethnic cleaning of Christians by the Syrian rebels and their bombings against Government targets. A journalist describes a rebel attempt to have them set up to eb kileld by Assad’s forces.

Set up to be shot?

Suddenly four men in a black car beckon us to follow. We move out behind.

We are led another route. Led in fact, straight into a free-fire zone. Told by the Free Syrian Army to follow a road that was blocked off in the middle of no-man’s-land.

At that point there was the crack of a bullet and one of the slower three-point turns I’ve experienced. We screamed off into the nearest side-street for cover.

Another dead-end.

There was no option but to drive back out onto the sniping ground and floor it back to the road we’d been led in on.

Predictably the black car was there which had led us to the trap. They roared off as soon as we re-appeared.

I’m quite clear the rebels deliberately set us up to be shot by the Syrian Army. Dead journos are bad for Damascus.

That conviction only strengthened half an hour later when our four friends in the same beaten-up black car suddenly pulled out of a side-street, blocking us from the UN vehicles ahead.

The UN duly drove back past us, witnessed us surrounded by shouting militia, and left town.

Eventually we got out too and on the right route, back to Damascus.

In a war where they slit the throats of toddlers back to the spine, what’s the big deal in sending a van full of journalists into the killing zone?

This is who The Republican Establishment wants America to go to war for. Let me be clear, I hate both sides in the conflict and love the fact they are killing each other. I don’twe ant any American involvement in Syria. I will continue to speak out on this, even if it puts me at odds with other Conservatives.
