Progressives complain about Trump being a bully

The Progressive movement spent 8 years attacking George W Bush non stop. They destroyed his Presidency because of their ruthlessness and his lack of fighting back. Then the Progressives went after Sarah Palin. Although she fought back, because of her inexperience, they destroyed her as well. The Progressives though have finally met their match.

Donald Trump has turned the tables on the Left. He attacks the media to their face, unlike other Republicans who complain about the bias. He even went after Obama not showing his birth certificate. To the shock of the Left and the Eunuchs of the GOP elites, Obama cracked and showed it. Trump got his demand of seeing Obama’s birth records. Now some Progressives are calling him a bully!

Donald Trump is basically birther Orly Taitz with better hair. Or do I have that backwards? The idea that this “carnival barker,” in President Obama’s words, got the White House to bow to filthy birther rumors about his ineligibility to be president, and belatedly produce his long-form birth certificate, makes me deeply sad.

But was it the right thing to do politically? We can’t know that yet. Certainly I was encouraged by seeing an indignant Obama take the podium, note he was getting attention he likely wouldn’t get for a foreign policy announcement, and tear into the media for letting Trump’s birther sideshow drown out all other news.

[….]

But I worry that bowing to bullying rewards bullies, and this paranoid, vicious faction in American politics, the one that says a black president has to show extra papers, extra credentials to be accepted, will never be satisfied.

Cry me a river. Progressives are ruthless and show no mercy. Now someone has beaten them at their own game and they cry about Trump’s bullying. This shows the Left can’t take attacks when pressed. I hope other Republicans emulate Trump’s tactics. I doubt it since the GOP is the party of political Eunuchs.

Obama shifts Left

After the 1994 Midterm defeat, then President Clinton shifted to the Center-Right. The result was he was the first Democrat since FDR to win re-election. By adopting many Conservative positions and along with a then fiscal responsible Republican Congress, the economy boom. Barack Hussein Obama is doing the opposite. He’s actually shifted even farther left and even is engaging in 3rd World Liberation rhetoric.

Two months ago, Washington was abuzz with speculation that Obama was going to follow Bill Clinton’s reelection strategy and move to the center, forsaking the liberal agenda that cost him control of the House in 2010. Now it is evident that he has decided to come down hard left and wage his reelection fight from his liberal bunker, firing shots at Republican cuts in Medicare, pushing tax increases on the rich, and attributing the gas-price increase to speculators.

Very possibly the decision to tack to the left was not entirely voluntary. With the Republicans constantly confronting him with budget cuts and spending reductions, Obama cannot portray himself as a centrist. Every day, he is on the defensive against proposals for Republican attempts to rein in federal outlays. Against a backdrop of repeated confrontation, he cannot move to the middle. Indeed, there is no middle. His budget compromises with Boehner are not middle ground, they are partial surrenders, grudging acceptances of budget cuts he would never otherwise allow.

[…]

The problem with a leftist strategy is that the vote share a Democrat can attract with it has a very low ceiling – in the low 40s. Economic populism just doesn’t play that well outside of the Democratic left.

Unlike bill Clinton, Barack Hussein Obama is a 3rd world Liberation Ideologue. he is a true bel;iever in Leftist ideas and will not budge towards the center. WItha  compliant media, many Americans are not aware of his Hard Left nature. Hence Obama never calls out for his demagogue style rhetoric. His leftist ideology has turned a recession into a stagflation hell. Many Americans are seeing the effects of his policies and are not falling for the media’s lies. Obama needs to get hammered at his un American ideas.

Blogmocracy in Action

Guest Blogger: Antikommie

Mr Speaker Boehner,

Whom do you report to? What is your “big picture” for America? I suppose this is something which should have been asked before you were elected speaker. I can guaran-damn-tee that Obama, Reid, and other top Dems have a big picture. I’ve gleaned flashes of their big picture and its that of socialist Europe …. at least. That’s the difference isn’t it?

Having a worldview. If you really had a true vision, you would be able to articulate it aggressively and offensively to all Americans. It seems to me that you’re a little too re-active, a little too defensive, a little too scared and leaning back on your heels. The media has you and the other establishment Republicans cowed and scared. You’re too worried about what will be reported about you. YOU NEED TO ATTACK THEM TOO! Don’t let them put you on the defensive! Dont let them set the premise! Who cares what they will write. Good or bad, they’ll write what they’ll write. Nothing you can do. They will never like you. They will never give you the benefit of the doubt. You will never get a break. Get over it and get over yourself. OBAMACARE MUST BE DEFUNDED! Whats your plan now? Change the rule and defund it! The more strikes it has against it, the better chance we’ll have when it gets to the supreme court. And stop giving away top negotiating points on national TV.

Start pounding the message that anytime anyone mentions the “evil rich” or “greedy corporations”, they’re practicing Marxism. Fomenting a “war between the classes” is the fulcrum to start the ball rolling toward communism. Of course, the main weapon is the progressive income tax because thats what can be used to set the line of who is “rich” and who is not.
Respectfully,
Dave

Since this letter was published, a tactic that explicitly proclaims the raising of awareness of “class consciousness” is being circulated in left wing circles. It makes sense that things circulate in circles, but circulating this tactic is a bold and blatant move as their power (hopefully, Mr Boehner…) slips away going forward. It is Marxism. Some don’t like that word, but you see written by Marx and Engels, they agreed that a class struggle is the first step toward fomenting the emotion of envy to the point it would get people out in the streets rioting. This history isn’t taught anymore and that makes it easier to repeat the history of the world. My intent is to raise awareness of Marxism so as to help some avoid getting caught up in envy and used as a puppet. If they want to raise awareness of class consciousness, I want to raise awareness that the first steps to Communism was the fomenting of a class struggle.
Interestingly, the people we hear saying these things are true believers, and most probably, the people they learned from. In fact, you have to go pretty far up the food chain to find the (nefarious) person(s) at or near the top who actually has Communism as the end game in mind. I’m talking about top union officials. I’m talking about Van Jones. I’d mention George Soros, but I don’t think he cares if people function under Communism or not, He’s so far above it that he just wants the money and the control. Lets not forget to mention the Marxist in chief….[you know…I’m just trying to keep my name off the “list” ;)]

Good luck to all of us

A warning to America

The chilling part of Daniel Hannan’s clarion call to America to shun Europeanization is “Europe also has become accustomed to a high level of structural unemployment.” I fear that America under Obama will become complacent and blase about high unemployment and take it as a natural way of life.  Hannan is also correct – Obama would fit in perfectly with the European governing class in Brussels.  Hannan’s descriptions of the differences between American republicanism and European style of governing should resonate with anyone not in a coma the past two years.  “Government knows best!” is the mantra of Brussels and of the modern day liberal.

by Daniel Hannan

On a U.S. talk-radio show recently, I was asked what I thought about the notion that Barack Obama had been born in Kenya. “Pah!” I replied. “Your president was plainly born in Brussels.”

American conservatives have struggled to press the president’s policies into a meaningful narrative. Is he a socialist? No, at least not in the sense of wanting the state to own key industries. Is he a straightforward New Deal big spender, in the model of FDR and LBJ? Not exactly.

My guess is that, if anything, Obama would verbalize his ideology using the same vocabulary that Eurocrats do. He would say he wants a fairer America, a more tolerant America, a less arrogant America, a more engaged America. When you prize away the cliché, what these phrases amount to are higher taxes, less patriotism, a bigger role for state bureaucracies, and a transfer of sovereignty to global institutions.

He is not pursuing a set of random initiatives but a program of comprehensive Europeanization: European health care, European welfare, European carbon taxes, European day care, European college education, even a European foreign policy, based on engagement with supranational technocracies, nuclear disarmament and a reluctance to deploy forces overseas.

No previous president has offered such uncritical support for European integration. On his very first trip to Europe as president, Mr. Obama declared, “In my view, there is no Old Europe or New Europe. There is a united Europe.”

I don’t doubt the sincerity of those Americans who want to copy the European model. A few may be snobs who wear their euro-enthusiasm as a badge of sophistication. But most genuinely believe that making their country less American and more like the rest of the world would make it more comfortable and peaceable.

All right, growth would be slower, but the quality of life might improve. All right, taxes would be higher, but workers need no longer fear sickness or unemployment. All right, the U.S. would no longer be the world’s superpower, but perhaps that would make it more popular. Is a European future truly so terrible?

Yes. I have been an elected member of the European Parliament for 11 years. I have seen firsthand what the European political model means.

The critical difference between the American and European unions has to do with the location of power. The U.S. was founded on what we might loosely call the Jeffersonian ideal: the notion that decisions should be taken as closely as possible to the people they affect. The European Union was based on precisely the opposite ideal. Article One of its foundational treaty commits its nations to establish “an ever-closer union.”

[…]

Why is a European politician urging America to avoid Europeanization? As a Briton, I see the American republic as a repository of our traditional freedoms. The doctrines rooted in the common law, in the Magna Carta, and in the Bill of Rights found their fullest and most sublime expression in the old courthouse of Philadelphia. Britain, as a result of its unhappy membership in the European Union, has now surrendered a large part of its birthright. But our freedoms live on in America.
