“I Wanna Go Home To The Armadillo.”
Man that guy’s wife must be awful ugly, all scaly and stuff. Poke her and she rolls up into a thorny ball, but that ain’t none of my business.

I’ve heard that song so many times without knowing the words, let alone the source. It’s the theme song to Austin City Limits, performed by Gary P. Nunn and Jerry Jeff Walker. Oh, and by the way, unless you’re sporting functional longriders, y’all just look silly, especially yinz with the bullrider hats, unless you happen to have the legs and lunch (T&A) to go with it and are willing to share your photos on The Overnight Open Thread.

It takes balls to do this.

“Those guys have big balls,” said Captain Obvious.
“But do they know about My Balls?” axed Bunk.

The vid was brought to my attention by Liberty Chick. I don’t know if she’s a golfer, but assuming she is, she’d probably choose My Balls to play with.

Be truthful: After viewing the vid, I bet you’d agree that My Balls are pretty damn good, and buying My Balls helps fund melanoma reasearch. If you purchase My Balls, you may need something suitable to carry them around in, like My Sack.

Not everyone likes to play with My Balls, so if any of you golfers would rather play with your own balls, let us know if you like My Sack.

There’s no reason for me to further ensnarken the basic concept, but don’t let that stop you, because it’s time for The Overnight Open Thread.

Top comment on that UToobage vid:

3 chords, 2 minutes, no bullshit 🙂

Commercial music sucked big green donkey Johnsons in the 70s, with way too much over-produced garbage IMO (think ELP). In 1977 a showcase “Rockumentary” called Live at CBGB was making the college circuit. The Ramones got my attention for the same reason that the Utoob commenter stated; they were paying respect to early rock and roll. They weren’t smug, and didn’t play to each other – they played OUT.

The second UToobage comment addressed the action just after 1:00. THAT describes my mental state these days, except when I post something especially for all loyal Blogmockrateers on The Overnight Open Thread.

Michigan bar band Brownsville Station‘s hit “Smokin In The Boys’ Room” was a built-in classic, and here they cover Robert Parker‘s 1966 hit “Bare Footin’” as well.

Kinda self-explanatory for you peeps who need no explanatrons on
The Overnight Open Thread.
