Good morning. This article includes a video of an ad by Jeannie Ives who is running in the Republican Primary against Gov Bruce Rauner. Rauner was named the worst Republican Governor in the country by National
Review. He is. The ad is all true , but it caused hair on fire. What do you think?

The only way Обамаград can be saved is if President Trump sends in the Naitonal Guard to quell the gangsta violence infesting that city…and to protect the GOOD PEOPLE who still live there!
Oh, he can also ARREST Rahm of The Nine Fingers, as well as his Chief of PIGS!

Hey Macker , how are you feeling? Chicago is still a great city in spite of these scurulious Democrats like
Rahm. But it is sinking, the Gold Coast Area now has violent crime including shootings.
That area is the economic engine but it is not being defended as part of a racial agenda.

Obama Admin’s First Request to Spy on Trump Campaign Was Rejected by FISA Court — So They Added the Fake Dossier Knowing It Was Lie

A very disturbing fact about the wire tapping request of President Trump is that the FISA Court turned down President Obama’s Administration’s first request to wire tap President Trump that was evidently signed off on by Attorney General Lynch.

With only two known applications denied out of 10,700 from 2009 through 2015, the fact that the Obama Administration’s application was denied by the FISA Court is very disturbing. The odds of this happening were 0.02%.

We also know from information released on Friday by the House Intelligence Committee that the Obama administration then went back to the FISA court in September 2016 with the bogus Russia dossier attached to their request to give their request some additional “support”.

The Obama DOJ and FBI used the fake dossier to ensure their FISA court request would be granted.

Later, after Donald Trump won the presidency, Deputy Director of the FBI, Andrew McCabe, testified to Congress that the FISA court request would never have been approved without the dossier that everyone knew was a lie.

Fredricka Whitfield had on some Republican Congessman trying to make his case. She had a meltdown

I’ve not been online a lot today but I have seen a trend – “Trump has no idea what he’s in for” kind of thing, no POTUS wins against the IC, etc. etc. etc. A lot of veiled threats, stuff like that. There’s a piece in the NYT from an FBI guy on why he’s resigning. Nothing tells the reader he was Comey’s special assistant. Adam Goldman is his name, I think. Because it’s an American tribal ritual.

About a third of the people I follow on twitter are farmers or have something to do with ag. There’s a ‘place’ for young farmers in the UK and their sites are being attacked by ‘vegans’ by hacking their home pages banner pics with horrific photos of animal slaughter. Pretty tough for a 12 yr old girl to handle. The cultural ‘current’ that’s taken hold of destruction in the most vulgar manner is something I’d like to see addressed in the public sphere. Even the adult farmers are really weighed down by this emotionally. Despair is a weapon and people need to recognize when it’s being used against them and how to fight it.

But in better news, dogsledding, my dog Talese is racing today (not a long race, but he didn’t get to do the 400 mile Beargrease last week), and the Yukon Quest, a 1000-miler, started yesterday.

I help sponsor him $$$. Mushing isn’t an inexpensive sport. Much like if you support North Shore Animal League (a no-kill shelter in NY), you have ‘your’ animal. Except in this case, I got to choose my dog. Talese is a solid, steady, sweet guy, no drama, utterly dependable. He’ll probably never be a star – that would be Hari, who is completely blind but is one of the few dogs who can follow a trail over a lake in a whiteout – but he’s the dog Hari depends on for emotional support when Hari doesn’t trust the ground. Talese is his bud.

This won’t let me cut-paste but put this in your ammo box. Trey Gowdy interview this morning where he states w/o equivocation that the FISA warrants would not have been granted w/o the dossier. Also note the he, Goodlatte and Ratcliffe are the only 3 people who have seen the underlying documents.

    https://twitter.com/ByronYork/status/960162767650086914

Also see the linked Byron York column

    http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/byron-york-answering-3-key-questions-about-the-house-memo/article/2648048?platform=hootsuite

So those are some of the objections and questions raised about the House memo. Though repeated loudly and often, they don’t have much merit, and the memo’s key assertion — that the unverified, oppo-research dossier played an essential role in securing a warrant to wiretap Carter Page — appears sound.

And yet, Gowdy professes that Rob Rosenstein who signed off on one of the 4 FISA warrants for the surveillance of Carter Page, a US Citizen not accused of a crime is a good guy.

My patience with Gowdy has expired just as it has with AG Sessions who likewise makes the same claim.

There is no rational or logical way that Rosenstein was unaware that the so called evidence used to obtain that FISA warrant was fraudulent. Rosenstein was part and parcel of the attempted 18 US Code Chapter 115 Sections 2384 & 2385 Coup against President Trump.

Why are Gowdy and Sessions attempting to protect Rosenstein?

I can conceive of only one acceptable explanation for the actions of Gowdy and Sessions, and that being that Rosenstein, in an effort to avoid prison for his role has turned states evidence against everyone else involved in this attempted coup. And I do not consider the likelihood of that as being very probable.

Did you know that when presenting an application for surveillance to the FISA courts, you must abide by what is known as The Woods Procedure?

Me neither. But Sharyl Attkisson does.

Woods Procedures were named for Michael Woods, the FBI official who drafted the rules as head of the Office of General Counsel’s National Security Law Unit. They were instituted in April 2001 to “ensure accuracy with regard to … the facts supporting probable cause” after recurring instances, presumably inadvertent, in which the FBI had presented inaccurate information to the FISA court.

Prior to Woods Procedures, “[i]ncorrect information was repeated in subsequent and related FISA packages,” the FBI told Congress in August 2003. “By signing and swearing to the declaration, the headquarters agent is attesting to knowledge of what is contained in the declaration.”

Carter Page reportedly assisted the FBI with the prosecution and conviction of a Russian spy a few years back. I suppose Page could have done all that with the FBI and then become a Russian spy himself. Maybe that’s what they were looking for in the wiretaps.

Nope, couldn’t care less about the Super Bowl. Also interesting is that the surveillance warrant was Title I not Title VII meaning it allowed the most intrusive investigation and allowed surveillance of Trump. This was taking the weaponization of the intelligence agencies to the limit.

    http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/byron-york-as-memo-fight-rages-critics-ask-all-this-over-carter-page/article/2647777?platform=hootsuite

    ——
There were reasons for the FBI to notice Page. Described as an “energy executive,” he lived for a time in Russia, was always trying to drum up business, often in Russia, and his name popped up in a case against three Russians who in 2013 were posing as businessmen and trying to recruit Americans to become Russian agents. The Russians apparently wanted to enlist Page, who in the end was not accused of any wrongdoing and has denied any contacts with the Russians beyond ordinary business communications. For their part, the Russians came to view Page as something less than a prize; one of them was captured on a wiretap calling him an “idiot.”

So Page was no Russian agent, nor did he ever appear to be in danger of becoming a Russian agent. Nevertheless, the case put Page on the FBI’s Russia radar screen.

good afternoon. Next up: State Dept Corruption vis a vis Steele. Here is the article

Dossier author Steele wrote another anti-Trump memo; was fed info by Clinton-connected contact, Obama State Department

Here is the Grassley memo demanding answers from the FBI. A lot is redacted but scroll down to (U) and you’ll see that apparently Steele received TWO ‘contributions’ from State.

huh. So Friday Grassley sent a letter to the FBI to declassify the doc I linked to above. He gives the FBI until tomorrow to comply.
