Charles continues his Jihad against Republicans. He posts Specters interview where he sates the GOP is now Far right. Charles has been hammering this theme on his Cult blog. This is just another example of his shift to the Left.

On “Meet the Press” this morning, Senator Arlen Specter said a big factor in his decision to become a Democrat was that the Republican Party had moved “far to the right.”
Specter told David Gregory on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that he had determined “with polls and a lot of personal contact” that his reelection prospects as a Republican were “bleak.”
But he added: “There’s more than being reelected here. There’s the factor of principle. The Republican Party has gone far to the right since I joined it under Reagan’s big tent. … In recent times, I have diverged materially from the Republican line … As the picture has evolved, I felt a lot more comfortable – as a matter of principle – with Democrats than Republicans.” …
Asked his core principles, the first two Specter listed were “freedom, a woman’s right to choose.”
Specter, a survivor of the cancer Hodgkin’s lymphoma, has opened a website to push for more medical research.
“If we had pursued the war on cancer, which President Nixon declared in 1970, Jack Kemp might be alive today,” Specter said. “This medical research has prolonged or saved many lives, including mine.”
So Charles agrees with Specter, this would explain his daily assault on his former allies. Charles Johnson was always a fake. He just supports the GOP because he wants low taxes, that is all. Now he is trying to get mainstream credibility by attacking the Right. Notice he doesn’t attack Soros, MSNBC and Olbermann? This shows you his true colors.
As for the GOP moving Far Right, I would like an explanation if what Far Right means. My gripe with the GOP and why I am disgruntled is because of it stale Corporatist economic policies, support of spreading “Democracy” in the Islamic world and support for Islamic Immigration to America. But that is different than Charles daily attacks. Hey Chucky why did you never take on the Progressive Fascist machine? You never did because you are an Intellectual Coward.
I challenge either Charles, Sharmuta, Killgore or Medaura to debate on issues here or in a neutral forum. If none accept then this will show what a bunch of cowards you all are.

I understand part of the criticism here- specter is saying the gop isn’t the pro-science, liberty supporting party that it was under Reagan. Goldwater would not recognize his party today.
But it’s also not the fiscal party it once was- and for that, senator spector is part of the problem.
So because many Republicans don’t agree with Global Warming and Darwinism, makes them anti-science? How is the GOP anti-liberty? Sharmuta come here and explain if you have courage.
