PLEASE EXCUSE ANY TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES
GCLAGHORN IS HOOKING US UP!
We’ll be running back to normal before you know it~
We now return to your regular open thread…

“Why Can’t We Be Friends”

First, I would like to officially welcome all of our new posters  (“citizens”). We are fully aware that it is the comments at a blog that truly make it great (not the Admins), and thus we are exceptionally grateful to have you all here with us.

Accordingly, I wish remind everyone of what makes The Blogmocracy different – and that which gives it its name.  Unlike most blogs, we want your feedback, and consider you all part of this blog. Although there are only a few Admins, you have a lot of say here.  All you need to do is choose to participate.

We believe that nothing will improve this blog faster than the wealth of experience, intelligence, and unique perspectives that you all bring with you.

Thus, we highly encourage you all to do you part, read the “About”, and “F.A.Q.” pages, and participate.

In other words: Tell us how to run our blog!

You can begin this civic responsibility now letting us know in this tread what types of topics, issues, etc. you want (or don’t want) covered here, and discuss it among your fellow ‘citizens’.

Other than that, enjoy this open thread.

Comments

Comments and respectful debate are both welcome and encouraged.

Comments are the sole opinion of the comment writer, just as each thread posted is the sole opinion or post idea of the administrator that posted it or of the readers that have written guest posts for the Blogmocracy.

Obscene, abusive, or annoying remarks may be deleted or moved to spam for admin review, but the fact that particular comments remain on the site in no way constitutes an endorsement of their content by any other commenter or the admins of this Blogmocracy.

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.

Play nice!
