Another sign of the apocalypse? Na, just an old duffer acting as Obama would say, “Stupidly”.

Gov. Brown: “How Many People Can Get Stoned And Still Have A Great State?”

DAVID GREGORY: 40 years ago, we weren’t talking about legalizing marijuana in states either. Is that a good or a bad idea for California?

GOV. JERRY BROWN (D-CA): Well, we have medical marijuana, which gets very close to what they have in Colorado and Washington. I’d really like those two states to show us how it’s going to work. The problem with anything, a certain amount is okay, but there is a tendency to go to extremes, and all of a sudden, if there’s advertising and legitimacy, how many people can get stoned and still have a great state or a great nation? World’s pretty dangerous, very competitive. I think we needed to stay alert, if not 24 hours a day, more than some of the pot heads might be able to put together.

My own personal opinion on Marijuana legalization party mirrors Moonbeams here. But only party, mind you.

The problem with anything, a certain amount is okay, but there is a tendency to go to extremes, and all of a sudden, if there’s advertising and legitimacy,

I do not wish to encourage the use of Marijuana by anyone. I do not believe it to be a wise move, but that said, I also do not believe that anyone should be arrested or imprisoned over it’s use or possession either. Moreover, and please note the very important distinction here, I am a very big supporter of the legalization of Hemp, not marijuana, but hemp as a commercial product.

Hemp, as a commercial product has many useful products that can be made from it. Paper, cloth, rope, oil, and nutritional supplements. Furthermore it is also unique in that it has several agricultural applications, it works great as a weather buffer against cold weather in the production of citrus, and as a fallow crop removes excess salt deposits from agricultural fields while also replenishing the mineral and nutritional components in the soil.

If you really insist on smoking marijuana or cbd oil, well, that is your business, personally I think it is a dumb decision, though no worse than my own smoking of tobacco or drinking of alcohol. You sure as hell shouldn’t have your life ruined by ending up with a criminal record or having to serve jail or prison time over it.
