@ rain of lead: Note that, in an “emergency ruling,” the U S Supreme Court overturned this, and indicated that in- person voting could proceed. Leftists are melting down: “OMGWTFBBQ, the poll workers are gonna get sick! It’ll worsen things!”

I think in a situation such as this, all impediments to the 2d amendment should be removed in all states.

A “remarkable” drug known to relax blood vessels could help coronavirus patients with severely damaged lungs and will be tested at Massachusetts General Hospital, making it among the first centers in the nation to participate in the study.

Nitric oxide, a colorless gas that can improve the delivery of oxygen to injured tissues saved many newborn babies with heart defects and was even named “molecule of the year” in 1992 in the journal Science.

“It’s a pretty remarkable drug,” said Dr. Lorenzo Berra, the critical-care specialist at Massachusetts General Hospital who is leading the new trial. “It has a risk profile that is minimal.”

The international study taking place in Massachusetts, Alabama, Louisiana, Sweden and Austria tests inhaled nitric oxide in patients with mild to moderate cases of the coronavirus and is delivered through a CPAP breathing machine for 20-30 minutes twice a day for two weeks.

So, CW, a question. I can see people wearing masks protecting others, but it seems that masks would pose a danger to the wearer, especially over a period of extended wear. You are creating a moist, warm environment in front of your face and then breathing in whatever is in front of your mouth and nose. Seems like an ideal environment for germs and other nasties to grow and flourish.

They are not identical. In fact compared to the two kittens I have those featured cats are easily identifiable. ( nose, chest and more… )

Now, my two spawns of the devil ARE identical, except for one feature. Sometimes the tip of the left ear on one droops very slightly.

I did put collars on them for a couple of weeks so I could tell which one was being an asshole. Not real collars, they are too small. Hair band pony tail girl things around their necks.

    @ eaglesoars:
Forgot to mention this yesterday. I was somewhat distracted by approaching wet weather and has to cut and split!

    Anyway …

The High Court of Australia (equivalent of the US Supreme Court) found Cardinal George Pell Not Guilty after he has endured 405 days in solitary confinement in Bargo Maximum Jaii in Melbourne. ALL 7 members of the Court found Pell not guilty.

This after a MSM . Victoria Police, Victorian State Justice Ministry engaged in a vicious witch hunt for the past decade. Pell’s enemies were determined to destroy him him for a raft of reasons. The one thread running through many of these organisations was the presence of senior members of the Masonic Lodge. Especially so within the Victorian State Justice bureaucracy, especially the Victorian Police force, and high profile members of the Legal profession. Victorian governance and society has been corrupt since the 1850s gold rush. Especially the Victoria Polive Force in their suppression of Irish gold miners that almost ignited a Revolution (at Eureka) against elitist draconian governance by decree in many cases. The armed standoff failed however those locked up in Bargo Jail in Melbourne were fried after in excess of 10,000 Miners marched on Government House and the Courts. They were armed and disciplined this time and outnumbered the Victoria Police. Those locked were released when the elitists backed down.

Those same corrupt senior Victorian bureaucrats and especially the senior members of Victoria Police remain. 170 years later, The Royal Commission into Victorian governance corruption appeared to have not wielded the knife deeply enough.

They reason for the suppression of Cardinal Pell was a reaction against the crimes of the Catholic Church, where Pell was seen as a target for historical anti-catholic individuals reacting to the pedophile scandal. That when it is clear that Pell was the architect of the scheme that ‘outed’ criminal priests and Pell set up the mechanism to get rid of these criminals. Pell was the man who began cleaning out the corrupt Vatican Bank before he was stopped by Pope Francis. Pell destroyed the infiltration of almost all Church seminary training institutions by radical homosexual acolytes, and their openly homosexual bishops and Theological professors, the suppression of straight acolytes, over 40 years. Pell has a LOT of enemies that ran right to the top!

George Pell was one of the few good guys and THAT is why he has been attacked by the MSM echo chamber , sacked and demoted by a corrupt Vatican, and jailed by a corrupt leftist jurists, persecuted by a group of powerful Masons within the elite, and yet Cardinal George Pell keeps winning even though he has suffered terribly.

“The number of people testing positive for the novel coronavirus for the second time after making a full recovery is growing, sparking fresh concern in the country’s fight against the pathogen.

Health authorities are on high alert as seven staff and inpatients at a nursing hospital in North Gyeongsang Province were rediagnosed with COVID-19.”

    Good morning Guggi

This has been noted earlier and it may be just genetic material from the virus. Here’s the report I say about a month ago

Florian Krammer PhD, virologist and vaccinologist in the Department of Microbiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, said on Twitter that the RNA of many viruses can be detected months after viral shedding has ended.

“Follow-up tests can turn positive after a few negative tests, eg because sampling was better,” Krammer said. “Also, and this is a very important point, just because somebody still tests positive in a nuclei acid-based test does not mean they are still shedding infectious virus.”

This morning, Bay Area Rapid Transit reduced the number of trains they would be running to one every half hour per line. Normally, the main line (Antioch/San Francisco) runs a train every five minutes and they are standing room only by the fourth stop. All other lines run a train every 15 minutes. This is significant. They are averaging only 7% of the regular ridership at this point .

“The coronavirus outbreak in New York originated mainly in travelers from Europe, not Asia, according to new studies cited by The New York Times on Wednesday.

“People were just oblivious,” Adriana Heguy, a member of a research team from New York University, told The Times.”

Leaving aside Newsom’s hubris, the bias in the first paragraph is astounding.

California this week declared its independence from the federal government’s feeble efforts to fight Covid-19 — and perhaps from a bit more. The consequences for the fight against the pandemic are almost certainly positive. The implications for the brewing civil war between Trumpism and America’s budding 21st-century majority, embodied by California’s multiracial liberal electorate, are less clear.

Now we have Newsom prepping to be Joe Biden’s replacement – or at least VP

Speaking on MSNBC, Governor Gavin Newsom said that he would use the bulk purchasing power of California “as a nation-state” to acquire the hospital supplies that the federal government has failed to provide. If all goes according to plan, Newsom said, California might even “export some of those supplies to states in need.”

You know, we used to have this thing called “laws” and “legislation”. If a need was identified, the appropriate government body would meet, debate a proposed bill, and then, if deemed good, would pass that bill and another government entity would then sign said bill into law. We now have single entities arbitrarily declaring that certain things are forbidden. Which, by the way, many of those dictats violate more than one or two constitutional rights. Now, if there is an emergency, then it is up to the governing bodies to meet and pass appropriate legislation that helps alleviate that emergency without violating constitutional rights. Because this activity is setting a very dangerous precedent.

Yeah, that pretty much should bring the full weight and power of the federal government down on his head. Only the federal government has power over interstate and foreign commerce. Declaring one’s self to be a ‘nation-state’ is pretty much secession from the Union. I thought that was resolved 150 or so years ago.

Both of these guys were “gay”.

Yup while Pell was burning the whole system within the Melbourne Archdiocese to the ground and rebuilding it without the key homosexual administration and educative Theologists… The situation in Sydney was totally out of control. Seminarians were straight they were driven out so that almost 100% of seminarians were gay as were their professors and the bishops over them who were either gay of decided to just look the other way. The major Manly Seminary was notorious, with a gay bathhouse culture and gay parties that ran weekends up at the Kings Cross red light area where ‘rent boys were much in demand.

When Pell had ‘burned the Melbourne Church administration to the ground figuratively and rebuilt it from the ground up, he then moved to Sydney and totally cleaned it out as well.

Pell was hated by the gay clerics to a ‘man’. Pell was supported by a dozen priests he brought with him from Melbourne as well as the Arch-bishop of the Sydney Anglician church who was also a good man.

Then Pell went to Rome and began to clean house within the Vatican Banking system. He brought the CA firm PWC with him and let them loose on the Vatican accounts and began to audit the whole corrupt system from top to bottom. The Pope took fright as did many corrupt Cardinals, especially Italian cardinals who has a cozy relationship with the Vatican bank. Naturally Pell was sacked before he could cut out the corruption and ‘retired’ to a nothing job in Rome. Then the decade long withch hunt against him was ramped up by Masonic members of the upper echelons of Victoria Polive who had attempted to charge Pell on 22 different occasions on trumped up charges that were ALL trashed by the federal courts. Finally they tried to ‘get’ Pell on rape of two alter boys based only on a single complaint of one of them The other had suicided years earlier after admitting to his mother that the pair had made the whole thing up. So the case was based on a single accusation with no solid evidence of an unidentified complainant . He has serious mental health problems but they was suppressed by the Police Prosecution after the normal prosecutors refused to proceed because the case was a nonsense. So after after a case that ended in a hung jury and after a massive media blitz and a book damning Pell that was proven to be full of lies and distortions, the anti-catholic mob in Victoria was out for blood. They wanted a victim to suffer for the real abuses of the Catholic Church in Victoria. Pell was their target even though it was Pell who had cleaned out the pedophiles in the Victorian Church and had organised the massive payouts to those who has suffered.

The second trial was a mockery of justice with a judge who had associations with the Masonic Lodge, a judy baying for blood before the case even got underway, a corrupt MSM also baying for Pell’s blood. They got Pell locked up of course in solitary confinement 23 hours a day for 6 years in a supermax type prison. The Appeal went no better as the Victorian Chief Justice sitting on the Bench as President of a three judge team was also tainted with masonic associations. Two of the three justices had ZERO criminal justice experience including the Chief Justice ( they were both commercial lawyers). The sole Criminal Justice on the Appeal was a criminal lawyer wrote the dissented decision, after writing a 20,000 word rebuttal of the case and in Pell’s favou.

Pell was locked up for a total of 405 solitary confinement days. An innocent man.

Finally the Feds got involved in what was a blatant corrupt and unjust set of decisions by Victoria Courts. All 7 Justices of the Australian High Court found Pell Not Guilty and also declared that the Victorian Police Force and Justice system was effectively broken …. but in more harsh language! Most unusual for judges to disparage other judges in such terms. There is a Royal Commission of Enquiry currently in session investigating Victoria Police who apparently colluded with a lawyer and acted as a Police informant … informing on his clients to the Police in contravention of law and client lawyer confidentially. Pell’s case and the corruption of the Victoria Police and Justice system underlying it will most likely be added to the list of corrupt dealing the socialist in the Victorian government and bureaucracy are being called to answer for.

Just so that you know mate that the good guys can fight back against the Aussie Swamp dwellers

Virgin Australia has stopped flying all internal Australian routes except a single return SYD-MEL-SYD per day. They are flying the odd international flight , especially repatriation flights taking aliens back to their home countries , as is QANTAS.

Now Virgin ( a totally commercial operation ) is asking for Australian Federal money to remain afloat. $1.2 billion!

Now the Australian government wants a second airline based out of Oz to ensure that QANTAS doesn’t have a monopoly. But when you dig beneath the surface you discover that Richard Branson’s Virgin Airlines has Branson as a figurehead. The majority of Virgin Australia Shares are held by a bank based out of Hong Kong. Dig even deeper and you discover that the Chinese Communist Party owns the bank!

So the CCP is asking the Australian government for a bail out of $1.2 billion for something brought on the the CCP!

    Talk about cheek!

Morrison the Prime Minister of Oz said that he’d consider bailing out Virgin but that Australia would take a majority shareholding in return for the $1.2 billion.

    We await the Chinese response.

We aware that the CCP is looking to gobble up distressed western companies that are struggling die to the Carons emergency!

Ladies, these and the men’s rules

    1. Learn to work the toilet seat. You’re a big girl. If it’s up, put it down. We need it up, you need it down. You don’t hear us bitching about you leaving it down.
    1. Birthdays, Valentines, and Anniversaries are not quests to see if we can find the perfect present yet again!
    1. Sometimes we are not thinking about you. Live with it.
    1. Saturday = sports. It’s like the full moon or the changing of the tides. Let it be.
    1. Don’t cut your hair. Ever. Long hair is always more attractive than short hair. One of the big reasons guys fear getting married is that married women always cut their hair, and by then you’re stuck with her.
    1. Shopping is NOT a sport. And no, we are never going to think of it that way.
    1. Crying is blackmail.
    1. Ask for what you want. Let us be clear on this one: Subtle hints do not work! Strong hints do not work! Obvious hints do not work! Just say it!
    1. We don’t remember dates. Mark birthdays and anniversaries on a calendar. Remind us frequently beforehand.
    1. Most guys own three pairs of shoes – tops. What makes you think we’d be any good at choosing which pair, out of thirty, would look good with your dress?
    1. Yes and No are perfectly acceptable answers to almost every question.
    1. Come to us with a problem only if you want help solving it. That’s what we do. Sympathy is what your girlfriends are for.
    1. A headache that lasts for 17 months is a problem. See a doctor.
    1. Check your oil! Please.
    1. Anything we said 6 months ago is inadmissible in an argument. In fact, all comments become null and void after 7 days.
    1. If you think you’re fat, you probably are. Don’t ask us. We refuse to answer.
    1. If something we said can be interpreted two ways, and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, we meant the other one.
    1. Let us ogle. We are going to look anyway; it’s genetic.
    1. You can either ask us to do something or tell us how you want it done. Not both. If you already know best how to do it, just do it yourself.
    1. Whenever possible, please say whatever you have to say during commercials.
    1. Christopher Columbus did not need directions, and neither do we.
    1. The relationship is never going to be like it was the first two months we were going out. Get over it. And quit whining to your girlfriends.
    1. ALL men see in only 16 colours, like Windows default settings. Peach, for example, is a fruit, not a colour. We have no idea what mauve is.
    1. If it itches, it will be scratched. We do that.
    1. We are not mind readers and we never will be. Our lack of mind-reading ability is not proof of how little we care about you.
    1. If we ask what is wrong and you say “nothing,” we will act like nothing’s wrong. We know you are lying, but it is just not worth the hassle.
    1. If you ask a question you don’t want an answer to, expect an answer you don’t want to hear.
    1. When we have to go somewhere, absolutely anything you wear is fine. Really.
    1. Don’t ask us what we’re thinking about unless you are prepared to discuss such topics as navel lint, the offside rule, or monster trucks.
    1. You have enough clothes.
    1. You have too many shoes.
    1. No NO you really do have too many shoes.
    1. It is neither in your best interest or ours to take the quiz together.
No, it doesn’t matter which quiz.
    1. BEER is as exciting for us as handbags are for you.
    1. I’m in shape. ROUND is a shape.
    1. Thank you for reading this; Yes, I know, I have to sleep on the couch tonight, but did you know we really don’t mind that? It’s like camping.

That’s what I like about men. They’re really very simple. Even their numbering systems are simple

    Opps Sorry guys.

That was for ordained priests and bishops only. Too dangerous for the laity to say that prayer. You might end up getting yourself into more ‘trouble’ than you can take, saying those words.

You can however say the Lite Version of archangel St. Michael’s prayer

Blessed St Michael archangel defend us in the day of the Apocalypse (or time of danger)
Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the Devil
May God rebuke him we humbly pray
And do thou Prince of the Heavenly Host through the power of God
Thrust down to hell Satin and all the wicked spirits
Who wander through the world for the ruin of souls

    Amen

I’d appreciate it if you could do this at 1500 Saturday Central European time

If you don’t want to that’s cool. But please do not say the full prayer in #115 post as it can rebound on you if you’re not adequately prepared.
