DoD, 5/8/77, Day 55 of The Great American Lockdown

by coldwarrior ( 376 Comments › )
Filed under Open thread at May 8th, 2020 - 10:12 am

Diary of Daedelus has an ‘expired domain’ notification. This should auto renew, our hosting service says it is already taken ( i assume by us) and cannot be renewed/purchased. I have no control over DoD, that was all Rodan and crew. I don’t even think that I have administrative access. If anyone has any ideas, lemme know! WHOIS sends me to a site, when I log in, it sends me to GoDaddy. That is fine as we use them. I’m working on it

43 years ago, 5/8/77, The Grateful Dead played a famous show at Barton Hall at Cornell U. This whole 1977 spring/summer era was top notch.

I’ve seen claims that Flynn supposedly admitted to doing something illegal, that basically came down to treason. What are they talking about?

  10. 10 | May 8, 2020 1:58 pm

    @ right_wing2:

The MSM is working feverishly to go with the “he admitted he lied to the FBI” which is illegal. They conveniently ignore the fact that Weissman et al. pressured him to plead or they’d go after his son. And Weissman has no problem suborning perjury or making up crimes to go after people.

Obama was, by all accounts, almost hysterical and adamant that Flynn be taken down. He went so far as to tell the Trump team that Flynn was a bad guy and they shouldn’t hire him. I’d be VERY interested to hear what Flynn has to say when this is all over. We know that Manafort and Stone have both stated that Weissman wanted them to lie about President Trump and threatened the prosecutions if they didn’t. Same with Flynn no doubt, but it was Obama that really wanted him neutralized.

They’re talking about the lie he supposedly told and I’ve never figured out what it is he’s supposed to have said. Trump and Pence both said Pence fired him because he lied but never told what the lie was. I’ve asked around and NOBODY can tell me what it was.

But the DOJ’s motion to dismiss said nothing Flynn said, truthful or otherwise, was germaine to any investigation and the only reason for the investigation was to entrap him. I copied the relevant text on the downstairs thread.

Yet all the FBI agents who interviewed him said they thought he was being truthful. The Logan Act they were going to spike him with was about the Kislyak call, that didn’t stick. Supposedly, there was also some FARA violation (Lobbying for a foreign gov’t) that I assume had something to do with Turkey because he had started a lobbying group and Erdogan’s gov’t was a client (He wrote an article in the Hill that really upset me). But he was apparently cleared on that.

    So I have zero idea.

Here’s my post from downstairs where the DOJ admits to entrapment

    ——–

In it’s motion to dismiss, DOJ admits it was entrapment

…the Government cannot explain, much less prove to a jury beyond a reasonable doubt, how false statements are “material” to an investigation that – as explained above – seems to have been undertaken only to elicit those very false statements and thereby criminalize Mr. Flynn”

We haven’t reached that stage yet here in NorCal, but we have to stand in line at Wal-Mart and Home Depot. But then again, I go grocery shopping at 6:00 a.m. so maybe it happens when I’m not around.

I guess the panic over toilet paper is now over. My store had full shelves when I went there last Sunday. Canned soup is still at a premium.

Don Jr. was on Hannity last night after the release of the transcripts. He reminded us all that during the interviews, somehow the testimony was contemporaneously being leaked to the media.

It would be interesting to compare Don Jr.’s transcript to the leaks Pencilneck was putting out as well as the other witnesses. After all, Schifty was NEVER going to release those transcripts. Only Grennell threatening him made him do it.

I have a legal question. Don’t know if you’ve had time to read or read about the testimony of our betters, e.g., Clapper, Fargus, et. al., but they all testified under oath that they had seen no evidence of collusion . Then they all went on TV and said Trump was colluding with the Russians. When they knew it was a lie.

So. No Sullivan protection from defamation, is there? Theoretically, Trump could sue for defamation/slander?

    @ coldwarrior:
There’s a lot of good stuff in those archives, and the place gets a surprising amount of traffic – not a lot, but a few hundred hits a day – not bad considering it’s updated weekly at best.

  43. 43 | May 8, 2020 4:33 pm

    @ eaglesoars:

Theoretically he can sue for slander. And Sullivan protections don’t apply if the individual making the utterance KNOWS that what they are saying is false and that it is said with malice.

I hope Trump does sue, because it’s time for Sullivan to go the way of the Plessy decision. Sullivan essentially created a class of persons for whom the usual protections against libel and slander do not apply, in effect denying them the same due process rights enjoyed by the average person.

And I hope Sidney Powell and L. Lin Wood join forces to bring it.

Due to fears over continued spread of the novel coronavirus, California Governor Gavin Newsom announced Friday the entire state will be asked to vote by mail in November.

The governor signed an executive order that will ensure every registered vote in the state is sent an absentee ballot prior to election day, and those who choose to vote in person will have to comply with strict physical distancing measures at polling sites

This is to ensure that the House seats that flipped to the Democrats in 2018 remain in Democrat hands. We have read reports over and over again of dozens of ballots being sent to the same address. Since ballot harvesting is coming under attack, Gavin and the Democrats are hard pressed to come up with a new way of insuring voter fraud.

There is no reason to believe that California cannot get back to normal before November. For instance, in the nine Bay Area Counties, with 7.6 million citizens, 3 major airports that had dozens of flights from China every day from November to January, a sizeable Chinese population traveling constantly to/from China (not to mention workers in Silicon Valley), hundreds of thousands of people packed in BART trains and buses in the morning commute every day right up until March 17th, it’s interesting to note that there are less than 10,000 reported cases and less than 400 deaths.

    Herd immunity.

The thing that upsets me the most looking at the criminal behavior from the top down in the Obama administration is that these assholes will NEVER pay for what they did.

They won’t plea out. Because they know they’ll be tried in a D.C. courtroom with a D.C. jury that is more than likely to be composed of a majority of Trump hating Democrats, who will be more than happy to acquit them or at least be a hung jury so they never do a day’s time for what they’ve done.

That’s my fear, as well. Plus the MSM is already fast at work either ignoring this Flynn exoneration or even worse, (as CNN’s Turley did yesterday) smearing Barr as a crooked AG who’s just placating Trump by entertaining his “delusional” conspiracy theories. And instead of acknowledging Flynn’s having been coerced and terrorized into pleading guilty they instead are only focusing on the fact that he pled guilty. I would love it but I don’t see any of the main players going to jail. Hope I’m wrong.

I believe it is time for the Federal government to step in and tell California that how it handles state elections is its own matter; however, because of the inability to ensure the integrity of the vote, the Federal government will neither accept nor certify electoral college votes from California, nor will any congress critters elected after 2019 be seated.

gawd. Katya, a researcher I follow has been playing with Ferguson’s model code. Inchoherent.

    https://twitter.com/ThatKatyaGirl/status/1258431484018466817

It contains 450 different parameters, each of which is either a single float or a float matrix. The majority of these are not based on any ground truth data that I can see and are just…[note: float and float matrix are data types, don’t worry about it]
    .
    .
Here are just a few of the free parameters you can fiddle with in order to “make up” a result which suits your narrative. Remember there are……450 such cogs and switches to fiddle with.

All in all, this is not a clear, transparent model, based on firm ground truth data. Its a fairly arbitrary Heath Robinson machine, which over counts infections on a consistent basis.

a partial list of free parameters

    https://twitter.com/ThatKatyaGirl/status/1258431489882181632/photo/1

‘proportion of places remaining open after closure by place type’ is one example and everyone who has reviewed the code notes that ‘hotel’ is never used.

If you read the entire link, you will see she equates the code to a “Heath Robinson machine”. That is a Brit term, in this context she means a Rube Goldberg machine.

ok, now I understand the “Flynn lie” thing. The ‘lie’ is that Flynn denied talking to Kislyak or denied talking to him about a specific subject (sanctions, maybe?).

That is based on an altered 302 that represents Flynn as saying he never talked to Kislyak about it.

A draft 302 – closer to the original – says that Flynn said he may have talked to Kislyak about it but if he did, he doesn’t remember it.

So the “Flynn lied” trope is based on a falsified 302, which apparently says he never talked to Kislyak about it.

That Flynn would lie about THAT never made sense to me because even I know those calls are recorded.

    Pennsylvania begins rebellion

A small but growing number of county officials are challenging Gov. Tom Wolf’s control of the state’s staged, regional reopening from the coronavirus pandemic lockdowns, with majority commissioners in two midstate counties unilaterally declaring Friday that they will consider their counties in the “yellow” phase of the state’s reopening plan effective May 15.

Letters from a group of Lebanon County officials and Dauphin County Commissioner Jeff Haste echoed a similar protest from Beaver County, the only county in western Pennsylvania to be excluded from Wolf’s announced extension of first-phase reopening steps in southwestern Pennsylvania next Friday.

In addition, sheriffs in Perry and Cumberland posted Facebook notices stating that they would not be a part of enforcing business shutdown orders.

The Supreme Court unanimously upheld a federal statute that forbids encouraging illegal aliens to remain in the U.S. unlawfully in a decision Thursday.

The Supreme Court justices voided an earlier decision by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, which had ruled that a federal anti-harboring statute was unconstitutional on the grounds that it violated the First Amendment by restricting free speech. The ruling by the nation’s highest court Thursday upholds the law.

Roy Horn, Illusionist Who Dazzled Audiences as Half of Siegfried & Roy, Dies at 75

Roy Horn, who levitated tigers, made elephants disappear, turned himself into a python and mesmerized Las Vegas audiences for decades as half of the famed illusionist team Siegfried & Roy, died on Friday in Las Vegas, where he lived. He was 75.

The cause was complications from Covid-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus, according to his publicist, Dave Kirvin.

The German-born performers’ long-running production, one of the most successful in Las Vegas history, ended on Oct. 3, 2003, when Mr. Horn, on his 59th birthday, was mauled by a 400-pound white tiger who lunged at his throat and dragged him offstage before a stunned, sold-out crowd of 1,500 at MGM’s Mirage hotel-casino.

    News from Kuwait

As I’ve mentioned, my husband is a contractor working in Kuwait. Covid cases were low until they repatriated expat Kuwaitis. Instead of quarantining them in restricted areas, they were allowed to go back home. They have no concept of personal space so the outcome was inevitable.

Beginning Sunday it’s a 24/7 until lockdown For three weeks, including food delivery. Kuwait has every American chain restaurant known to man which is what my husband mostly eats so we’ve spent the last hour trying to come up with meals he can prepare himself. Luckily he has several containers of frozen chicken and noodles and beef and noodles he made. He’s making beans right now with black market bacon and ham hocks that should last quite awhile. I told him to order some take out meals from cheese cake factory and other places and freeze them. order a couple of pizzas. The grocery store is a nightmare on good days, so he’s going to have to suck it up and go spend five hours trying to get enough stuff to last three weeks. What a mess.

Frankly a LARGE number of people here automatically moved themselves to Level #2 as soon as the PM said it was coming in a couple of weeks. LOTS of fishing and cars with Boats attached on the roads and traffic is up 50% and we are still supposed to be in Level #3 lockdown!

The folks have just HAD ENOUGH

About 140 currently infected nation wide out of 5 million. 3 currently in hospital and none in ICU with new infections over the past 7 days 0….0….3…..2….0……2……2 And they have all been traced back to known hot spots (mostly rest homes).

92% of infected folks have recovered. Total 21 dead and all but 4 in the 70 + bracket. Total of 1500 known infected nationwide since the ‘kick off’.

    SO MUCH TRUTH!!!

We’re portrayed as the problems. We’re portrayed as people who want to kill people — we’re portrayed as people that don’t care — by a bunch of busybody nobodies not doing anything but pointing how superior they are! “If your intentions are good, if they conform to the general received values of your friends, family…”

In other words: If you can articulate conventional wisdom, and if you can go along with conformity, then everything is fine. You are that good person. “You are ratified. You can do anything you wish. It doesn’t matter in the slightest what” your ideas actually would accomplish, because it doesn’t matter. The only thing that matters is that you have acknowledged that you care, and you are superior because of it.

I have noticed an appreciable increase in passengers on the BART trains in the morning. BART starting running trains every half hour on each of the lines starting around April 1st, because they were getting only 7% of normal ridership. Now there’s probably 50, so they may need to start running trains every 20 minutes to keep social distancing. They started requiring masks about two weeks ago, which I imagine is a prelude for opening up, where they will require everyone to wear one in the stations and on the trains.

They also suddenly started requiring masks in stores and public buildings. Not at the start of quarantine; 40 days into it.

    I said Turley, meant Toobin

She has amazing gall. Fraud seems to be her specialty. The reason they say she married her brother is to emigrate to the US they posed as members of the Omar clan. They’re actually Elmis and the father was propagandist to the murderous communist dictator. Why they had to flee. Her second marriage was to a British guy, also Somalian refugee with the same last name. In photos he’s clearly gay and resembles rep. Omar. The ceremony was quiet. He attended college and then back to Britain. She divorced him. Remarried her original Muslim husband until recently. In Aug last year she was denying sneaking around with Tim Mynett, a campaign vendor who she diverted some $400,000 to for campaign “services”. By October announced her divorce to the Hirsi dude after being caught by him with Mynett. Now she’s married to Mynett (who dumped his wife for her) and the benefactee of her campaign’s business. How convenient. Now she’s soliciting donation money on someone else’s behalf which no doubt would have disappeared into her coffers. She operates right out in the open because the NY Times and the WaPo and “fact checkers” all proclaim there’s no evidence of any of this. When Trump points out this common knowledge they proclaim Trump the liar and conspiracy theorist. Rinse, repeat, etc.. And Google has promoted the whitewash articles and suppresses the articles with the truth. There are still PLENTY of articles proclaiming her an American immigrant success story and champion of righteousness, freedom and hard work.

Matt Gaetz said that on Hannity last night. He was on the next segment after Gowdy spoke his usual fiery rhetoric to Hannity. Like Graham, what he says doesn’t match his endless excuses for inaction and “letting the process play out” or whatever. They (Ryan and Gowdy) clearly didn’t mind giving up the House and letting President Trump twist in the ill wind of bogus Russian accusations and then bogus impeachment for years. Ryan clearly just hated Trump because the latter was not immediately impressed with him. Gowdy may really think giving up the House was a way to give balance and let the Dems get it out of their system. If so, that’s awfully naive.

9/8 then 2/8 then repeat. Switches to a more comfortable 12/8 for verse. Guitar solo would’ve been hell in 11/8 :). But the triplety meter gives a kind of bleak inescapable relentlessness.

A pretty good Jill Biden take down. Found it in the comments of this article: https://legalinsurrection.com/2020/05/democrats-increasingly-anxious-over-joe-bidens-basement-campaign/#more-317553

    JILL BIDEN

My take is that she’s as desperate to get into the WH as he; Number One Observatory Circle not good enough for her. She’d get to be First Lady and all that comes with it. She might even take up Jackie’s pill box hats.

Leftists routinely refer to her as Dr. Jill Biden, implying that she’s a medical doctor. But that’s all part of a rather large deception. She’s not a real doctor. Her pretentious claim to that title is based on an EdD (even flimsier than a non-STEM PhD) in “educational leadership” (gag). This is nothing less than a variant of Stolen Valor (ask Don Shipley about that and phony SEALs). Glammed-Up Jill is claiming a status to which she’s not entitled. Real doctors = MDs, dentists, holders of PhDs in the hard sciences. Not real doctors = anyone with an EdD or a PhD in any soft studies programs (especially all those “studies” programs (gag-gag = womyns, black, gay, gender, education)) are exercises in bullshiitte-ology. Word-processing programs have enabled turgid writers to become even more turgid.

*Glammed-Up Jill is an accurate descriptor; she’s all show, no substance. Like Joe. Because of her former looks (God-given, not the result of her efforts) she tried her hand at modeling (deep, meaningful stuff, if you peons don’t understand important things), indicating that style and looks are all-important to her. This would explain why Joe has become all-Hollywood (the hair plugs, the chi-chi clothing, the teeth, the Botox, the aviator sunglasses, the Amani shirts with two undone buttons).

**If ya can’t dazzle ‘em with brilliance, then baffle ‘em with bull-shiite

***And if ya really wanna feast on the turgid, get yourself a copy of “The Things That Matter In Life: The Collected Words of Dr. Jill Biden” (there’s that Dr Jill Biden undeserved title again). Amazingly, some publisher actually put money in such drivel. But it doesn’t end there. This air-head has now (2019) written an autobiography, Where the Light Enters: Building a Family, Discovering Myself. Does the self-adulation of these people ever end?

Didn’t she do a great job building Hunter Biden’s character?

Not quite fair. She taught course here in Northern Virginia at the community college and SHE insisted on being called ‘Dr. Biden’. Contrast that with Dr. Ben Carson, a pediatric neurosurgeon who the media continually and without exception neglect to include the earned title when addressing him or writing about him.

NYC politicians outraged after NYPD reveals 80% of social distancing arrests have been minorities
By Anna Sanders and Rocco Parascandola New York Daily News (TNS) May 8, 2020

NEW YORK — Coronavirus does not discriminate. Social distancing enforcement in New York City apparently does.

That’s the takeaway from newly-released numbers from the New York Police Department that show an alarming racial disparity in social distancing enforcement. And, despite Mayor Bill de Blasio’s reassurances, elected leaders and community activists are saying City Hall should be ashamed.

According to the NYPD, there have been 374 social distancing-related summonses issued since COVID-19 restrictions were put in place six weeks ago. Of that number, 304 of the summonses have been issued to black or Latino people.

That follows news that 35 of 40 people arrested in Brooklyn between March 17 and May 4, were black. Across the city, where there were 120 social distancing arrests, 68% of the people were black, 24% Latino and 7% white.

Well here in Harris County Texas ( a.k.a Houston ) wearing of masks in stores is mandatory and after a visit to Walmart I noticed a very strange event.

Most of the people not wearing masks were of one race, a few people of another race were without masks and I did not see a single unmasked pink person.

Now, although wearing masks in stores is mandated it is not enforced by the police. If it were enforced strictly in that particular Walmart you would observe there would be a very large bias towards ticketing people of colour/minorities. Basically because the people breaking the rules are of colour or Hispanic.

Most of the unmasked people were male or female young adults. Again an indicator of who in the population tends not to care about authority or others.

So I call bullshit on inflammatory articles such as the one linked. There is not a disproportionate percentage of black and hispanic people being ticketed as compared to white people.

There is a disproportionate percentage of black and hispanic people breaking the rules.

    Rant off…..

Frankly, this is the final straw. Tesla will now move its HQ and future programs to Texas/Nevada immediately. If we even retain Fremont manufacturing activity at all, it will be dependen on how Tesla is treated in the future. Tesla is the last carmaker left in CA.

I understand and somewhat agree with your point.

Was just trying to highlight that sometimes cherry picked statistics trying to insinuate that there is a racial bias as to police actions may actually be very misleading.

As to masks, I have been using the same cheap. disposable ( and disposable for a reason, it is designed for short term, one off use. Otherwise it becomes a magnet and a breeding ground for bacteria. A nice warm and moist environment. )

Harry Reid might want to spill the rest of his guts before he kicks.

The UFOs or UAPs are similarly a settled matter for Reid, who has been working on this subject under the covers for decades. He told Motherboard that the number of credible people who have reported such encounters is not in the tens or the hundreds. It’s in the thousands. He also became one of the few elected public officials I’ve heard admitting that one of our nuclear missile sites in the Dakotas was effectively shut down when “something” was hovering over it. Reid further gave a nod to the accuracy of reports stating that communications systems among our carrier groups in the Pacific have similarly been temporarily lost when the Tic Tacs were in the vicinity.

    Kitten update.

Kittens now think they are real cats.

Current trend here is small cats think it is cool to ambush the big cats and try to take them down like a lion takes down an antelope.

So far the big cats ( and one of them is big ) have been quite nice about it. But I have a feeling it will not last much longer.

Boris Stroganoff and Princess Natasha Katinski have done an awesome job helping me raise Glenn and Georgie from being two days old and helpless but…

Now comes the time where the small cats have to realise they are now regarded as just cats and they will have to respect their elders.

Experiencing the transition from kitten to cat is fascinating to watch 24/7

Now the bad news. Boris is FIV positive. Transferred by bites, but not sharing water dish, food dish or litter box.

Got to let kittens go before they are big enough to get into a cat fight with Boris. Even the best of friend cats occasionally get into a fight.

A job posting on Columbia University School of General Studies states: “The Fund for Public Health in New York City (FPHNYC), in partnership with the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH), is seeking contact tracers to perform case interviews and contact tracing to support the citywide COVID-19 response. using a trauma-informed, culturally respectful approach that builds trust and facilitates the free sharing of information.” The job includes “Conducting in-person investigations into congregate settings and selected cases and contacts.”

Listed requirements include: “Ability to understand the concepts of institutional and structural racism and bias and their impact on underserved and underrepresented communities” and “Have a demonstrated commitment to supporting communities who have experienced systemic oppression and bias (e.g. people of color, LGBTQ people, immigrants, justice involved persons, etc.)”

It is if you’re trying to knock down a virus. It isn’t if you’re trying to create a network database. Data is data, it can be used for all sorts of stuff.

Oh, you probably aren’t aware but a COVID-19 positive person named you as a contact, pack your bags, there is a bed at quarantine camp A2X-29F, and you are required to wear this ankle monitor until released from quarantine, $10,000 fine and 5 years imprisonment otherwise.

Contact trace me yesterday for example.

I went to a Foodarama store. Used a basket, bought meat and cat treats and a bottle of wine. Wore a mask as is required by Harris county judge Lina Hidalgo.

So, how many people did I “contact” ?

I was there and I could not tell you how many people I was near and their names and addresses.

Only record there is of me being in that store was the fact I paid by credit card. So OK, I admit that it is legitimate I had some type of contact with anyone that paid electronically say 30 minutes after I left.

Or someone that left the store 15 minutes before I checked out.

That sound reasonable? It does to me. It identifies who I may have been in contact with. Great!

    Oh…. did anyone pay cash?

Oooops.. so using credit card data is not 100% reliable as I at first assumed.

So, point is. Take a one hour time window at that store and try to discover who was in contact with who and you have close to fuck all chance of doing it.

Now try contact tracing the nearly 5 million of us in Houston.

However if COVID-19 was sexually transmitted then contact tracing would be useful in identifying persons at risk.

But it was not done with HIV because it was a violation of something to do with civil liberties, the constitution or unicorns.

An airborne virus and the state demands to know where we went, who we breathed near and what we touched.

Where I lived the first 11 years of my life in Centerville, OH we lived on a semi-rural road (Clyo road). In the fields around our house lived ground hogs. There was one incident where a ground hog had gotten overly agressive in guarding it’s hole and my dad felt it was a danger to we kids and our animals (a dog and cats). So he went out and dispatched it with his service pistol. He wasn’t an outdoorsy guy but had hunted with his father and uncle in his teens. So he dressed it and cut it up and put it in the freezer. My mom made a stew with it. Pretty good! Another time one of the ground hogs got hit by a car (why I mentioned the road). My dad examined the still warm body and determined it was a head shot and the meat was fine. They tend to stand up on back legs to see what’s going on so I’m guessing it stood up to peer at the car bearing down on it. Same routine. I think I recall my mom frying some in a skillet like chicken. And that was pretty good too. Free delicious meat.

Given how pissed off the EU and UK are at each other right now, and how the EU hates Trump, I’m betting not much. Germany hated Grenell, they hate Trump, they hate the UK and Trump doesn’t need them, he could care less. The UK loves spitting in their face.

Given that the Chicoms have been threatening Australia with huge tariffs on barley if they go ahead with an investigation of the virus, it may just be Germany’s way of going on the offense with them, they have a lot more clout than the Aussies. This is about $$$, not morals.

imaginary) but in this case the original name of the daily was “Die Bild-Zeitung” shortened by the people to “Die Bild”. “Zeitung” (= newspaper) is always female therefore it is “Die Bild”. It is not very easy to explain but believe me in this spezific case it is “Die Bild”.

Fitton: Judicial Watch Sues State Dept. for Records Tied to Alleged Monitoring of Trump Family, Journalists by Amb. Marie Yovanovitch

Judicial Watch is going to court to uncover details of the alleged monitoring of President Trump’s family, lawyer, and journalists, as ordered by the since-recalled U.S. Ambassador to the Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch.

The two Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuits against the State Department for documents tied to the alleged monitoring of President Trump’s intimate circle and journalists covering him is an extension of our Judicial Watch investigation, which began in October 2019, into the alleged monitoring, via CrowdTangle and other means. Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch is alleged to have ordered State Department entities to conduct the monitoring. The list of the alleged targets includes:

    Jack Posobiec
    Donald Trump Jr.
    Laura Ingraham
    Sean Hannity
Michael McFaul (Obama’s ambassador to Russia)
    Dan Bongino
    Ryan Saavedra
    Rudy Giuliani
    Sebastian Gorka
    John Solomon
    Lou Dobbs
    Pamella Geller
    Sara Carter

Amb. Yovanovitch reportedly ordered monitoring keyed to the following search terms: “Biden,” “Giuliani,” “Soros” and “Yovanovitch.”

Obama pardons James Cartwright in leak case

President Obama on Tuesday pardoned retired Gen. James Cartwright, the former vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff accused of lying to the FBI about his conversations with reporters regarding U.S. efforts to cripple Iran’s nuclear program.

Cartwright pleaded guilty in October to one felony count of making false statements during the FBI’s investigation into leaks about the government’s role in a highly classified operation known as Operation Olympic Games.

The clandestine effort — untaken with Israel — deployed a computer virus known as Stuxnet that destroyed Iranian centrifuges used in creating nuclear fuel.

New York Times journalist David Sanger exposed the operation in 2012, sparking the federal investigation that led to Cartwright.

When the whole Russia hoax first started and I was researching everybody, I ran across this because…Cartwright is related to Peter Strzok via marriage.

Cartwright’s daughter, Mariana, is married to Peter’s brother, Mark.

So Obama’s concern-trolling about somebody ‘getting off’ for ‘perjury’ (which Flynn was never charged with, he wasn’t under oath) is bullshit. Cartwright actually leaked Stuxnet info to the media and Obama pardoned his ass.

Dozens feared dead as Iranian destroyer accidentally SINKS one of the country’s own warships after opening fire on it

According to local media, an Iranian battleship was accidentally hit by the destroyer during military exercises, causing it to sink.

ELINT News reported that the Iranian Jamaran frigate accidentally fired on the Konarak support ship with an anti-ship cruise missile during exercises.

‘The Jamaran is a Moudge-class frigate armed with 4 C-802 (Noor) anti-ship cruise missiles. This is likely what was launched,’ they wrote on Twitter.

Iran doesn’t own any battleships. Neither does anyone else, these days.

Apparently, the Iranians refer to the Moudge-class ships as destroyers, but they’re actually classed as frigates. The Jamaran is one of two that are currently operational (there was a third, but it ran aground in 2018 and did so much damage to the hull that it will likely be scrapped). There are supposed to be about 4 more either planned or under construction. It’s a domestically-produced design.

Still no idea what the Jamaran sunk, though.

Grind it really fine, and boil it on the stove like the Greeks do. When you really need an eye-opener.

This is unbelievable. In 1965 or so, 6 boys, ages 13-16 were actually shipwrecked on an island for 15 months before they were rescued. They were from Tonga (don’t know, don’t bother asking). It was anything BUT Lord of the Flies and it wasn’t a tropical paradise either, it was a volcanic rock.

The real Lord of the Flies: what happened when six boys were shipwrecked for 15 months

    That is an amazing story.
