The Wuhan coronavirus pandemic terror has caused many business owners (and their employees) to lose their asses, and fortunately there’s an inexpensive replacement. One size fits most, but there are double-wides available for a small fee (plus corpulence tax).

Although there’s a limited supply, you’ll get yours in the end. The line forms at the rear on this long overdue

Thanks Bunk X for putting up a new thread. Seeing I’m first can I have a spleen vent over governments massive overreach that tramples basic Liberty into the dust for the sake of health security ….. and because they can and like the POWER that they have invented out of nothing but their imaginations.

Case in Point. The UNELECTED government in New Zealand that was confirmed in a power play behind closed doors between a Socialist left party with just 38% of the vote and a populist party of the centre who were gagging for power with just 8% of the vote and supported by the Green Hard core (communists in green drag)with just 5%. Overall the left factions polled just 43% of the vote while the NZ First party sold its soul for a handful of silver and some plumb seats in parliament. This fascist bunch of misanthropes colluded to impose STASI type power to control the People under Urgency legislation in the dark of night. They claimed to be operating under Emergency powers but in fact that period ran out 5 weeks ago and was only for 30 days anyway.

So we have a regime that now breaks its own Human Rights Act tenants and tells the NZ Police Force that it can forget man rights and liberties and can bust into any home without warrant to ensure that citizens are keeping the ‘temporary’ spacing and numbers rules imposed UNCONSTITUTIONALLY under lapsed Emergency legislation. The NZ Police are VERY upset having to be forced to enforce these illegal and unconstitutional rules. They have claimed that the instructions for enforcement are illegal and the individual Police are committing a felony by carrying out these demands of parliament.

To add real ‘creep factor’ it’s been discovered that a cohort of senior police has been operating a covert IT trial of surveillance and identification, that even the newly incoming Commissioner of Police was unaware as were most of the members of parliament.

This smells like a coup to overthrow constitutional rule of law and replace it with a STRASI type surveillance state. That is NOT mere rhetoric. This is serious and will be judged harshly in the November election, IF it’s not POSTPONED until there is a ‘cure’ for the virus!

Hell NZ has destroyed the Wuhan virus. It’s isolated to a few former high incidence sites with NO cases reported outside these few areas. Te borders are sealed tight and NOBOGY gets into NZ unless they undergo 14 days in lockdown quarantine.
THERE is NO NEED for this fascist socialist legislation except for the Left’s demand for a surveillance society and eternal power for themselves.

    SPIT

We discovered the covert agenda a few days ago when legislation under Urgency and with NO debate was rammed through in the dead of night sitting of parliament.

    SPIT

Ardern has been ACTING the democrat since 2015 whilst plotting her soft coup. Time was getting short and the people of NZ were starting to question her choices so she unmasked completely.

Whether the NZ Commissioner will refuse to comply and tell his rank and file officers NOT to enforce these illegal commands is yet to emerge

ZIP Nada. The whole parliament seemed shocked and mute. It was passed literally in minutes. The opposition just didn’t have the numbers and to their eternal shame the carpetbaggers of the centre NZ First Party just smiled knowing that their payoff was coming to selected support base like Northland Maori who were handed $1 billion of ‘local infrastructure’ support. The VP of the NZ First Party is a corrupt Northland Maori. The Nga Pui tribals were always untrustworthy cannibals who preyed on other times!

Just 20 weeks before the election.

I think Ardern has had her ‘bridge too far’ moment with this garbage.

The radio talk back stations have absolutely exploded over this and even blue collar Labour Party supporters have said that they can’t support a Labour led coalition who are this authoritarian.

If we can just shame NZ First to stand on a repeal in November then they may change horses. The STUPID leader of the National opposition Party has 48% of the vote but he hates the leader of NZ First and has said that there will never be another coalition accord with NZ First. This is just plain DUMB ! He needs to go as well. There are a few good conservatives in National but the heir apparent is a RINO type and she is one ruthless bitch with a taint of the socialist as well.

Little in the papers. The MSM here are in total support of Labour. So is TV both the State and commercial channels. Tac radio is conservative and punches above its weight however. The talk is overflowing with caustic comments about ‘wendy’ Ardern’s name used by her opponents as she tries to ‘smarmy’ her way past questions of her competence.

Intel agencies at the upper level are pro-Labour but at the operational level they are apolitical as they should be.

Over the years Defence had shifted from right wing to centrist and now they have the odd clutch of socialists in senior positions, mostly looking to climb the slippery promotional pole. Basically the NZDF is dysfunctional , terribly underfunded and mildly corrupt in allocating defence contracts.

You think NZ upper defence forces are pink… you should see the Australian Defence Forces senior officers especially in the vastly overstaffed Russell Offices ( the Australian equivalent of the Pentaon) in Canberra. Both organisationally incompetent and mildly corrupt.

    Take the submarine contract.

COULDN’T be uncleared powered even though distance to on station is the longest in the world. COULDN’T be US so went for a French nuke converted to run on fuel cells where the design is TOTALLY untried. 80% of the cost had to be built in Oz for some pork deal for South Australian industry. There was a perfect Japanese sub already in the water that had the same range but some corruptocrat at Russell Offices insisted on the French boat. The COST had blown out from $50 billion for a dozen boats to $90 billion and the last boat doesn’t even arrive until 2053! Sheesh!

We need 12 US nuke Hunterkiller boats at a unit price of about $4 billion a copy delivered between 2023 to 2030. Just piggy back on the existing US order. Instead of ensuring operational compatibility with the US , something that the French boats will have to retrofitted with we would get built in compatibility at HALF the price in HALF the time!

See the types of problems with Russell Offices?

Oh, btw, in case you missed it, Rep Bobby Rush’s ‘Trace Act’ is another totalitarian ploy, it’s HR 6666.

Pelosi shoehorned it into her $3T boondoggle.

To authorize the Secretary of Health and Human Services to award grants to eligible entities to conduct diagnostic testing for COVID–19, and related activities such as contact tracing, through mobile health units and, as necessary, at individuals’ residences, and for other purposes.

Keep your ears open for something called EcoHealth Alliance/Jonathan Epstein. They just had their funding cut because they were hooked in with the Wuhan virology lab. Also be aware of Partners in Health/Dr Paul Farmer, they are currently running the tracing pgm in Massachusetts. The other person involved with Partners in Health is one Jim Yong Kim. You betcha Eagles. We’ve got a brace(hundred and change) of US sourced surface ship killer missiles but we need submarines urgently. We should have the first 3 entering service soon and they should be nuclear powered for range and transit time reasons if nothing else. They need to be 100% compatible with the newest US hunterkiller boats in manufacture now.

Our crews are the best but their old shallow water quiet diesel electric boats are old. We operated with the USN regularly off Hawaii and have done very well even in the deep end of the professional pond.

Australia needs these boats to patrol the approaches to the nine dot line against Chinese surface and sub-surface assets

I fear not enough. If there were, there would be too many for the totalitarian thugs to even THINK about doing this. It wasn’t really that long ago that this story would have made national news.

Instead, just about 4 years ago, an MSNBC anchor taped a commercial in which she said children belong to the community. “We have to break thru this private idea that kids belong to their parents.”

Looking ahead to November, I’m concerned. One of the biggest unknowns that will likely affect the election is the federal bailout of the bankrupt states. Trump should have stated up front that the states will receive no bailout and that they are welcome to shutdown as long as they think is necessary and their economies can tolerate. We already see states lining up to appeal to the federal government to fill the void in their coffers resulting from their own stupidity.

How this next chapter in the nightmare unfolds will be important. You know the Dems/MSM will be howling for relief from Washington, DC, complete with endless sob stories about families suffering and how we must “do it for the children.” They’re innocent victims. Yeah, well, I’ll go along with their victimhood if we can honestly assign the blame on the true villains: their Governors, China, the CDC, and the MSM for its role as Chicken Little. Others, too, but those are near the top of the list.

Despite the fact that the Governors have failed and have intentionally tanked their states’ economies, Trump will be cast as the Orange Meanie who abandoned the nation if the federal government doesn’t bail them out. I’m not hopeful that a hysterical, frightened mob of voters is going to take the rational path in November. I am hopeful that I’m wrong.

Forget the model makers. Forget Fauci. Forget Cuomo. Forget De Blasio. Forget the Michigan Tyrant. But, remember Orange Man Bad and it’s all his fault.

Even if the economy takes back off, which I think it will, you can’t make up for much of the lost revenue. Sure, people will buy that car or refrigerator they were thinking about before this nonsense, but the meals out, the movie tickets, the ice cream runs, the sporting events, the concerts, and so many other spontaneous opportunities are forever lost. That revenue won’t return.

Municipalities and states generate a lot of revenue from those sources, and without it, they’re going to be facing a massive shortfall. Of course, it’s the hard working people of the heartland who owe it to the fools in the blue states who are obligated to finance their frivolity.

The left will be milking this catastrophe for as long as they can. I’m concerned that Trump isn’t the sure thing he was two months ago, especially since we don’t know what surprises the DNC has in store for us and Biden in the coming weeks.

they were requiring a diagnosis ‘consistent with evidence for its use’, i.e., no off label.

NOW it reads: “The rule does not prevent a physician from prescribing one of these drugs for an off-label use. Please note, the intended use for the drug is not required if the practitioner determines the furnishing of this information is not in the best interest of the patient…”

Disease Mitigation Measures in the Control of Pandemic Influenza

    2006.

There are no historical observations or scientific studies
that support the confinement by quarantine of groups
of possibly infected people for extended periods in order
to slow the spread of influenza. A World Health Organization
(WHO) Writing Group, after reviewing the literature
    and considering contemporary international experience,
concluded that “forced isolation and quarantine are

Closure of schools. It has been the practice in manycommunities to close the schools for 10–14 days at thebeginning of an epidemic of seasonal flu, primarily be-cause of the number of both teachers and pupils who areabsent. This is a reasonable initiative, often expected inmany communities, that also serves to demonstrate ac-tion on the part of officials. Closing schools for longerperiods in hopes of mitigating the epidemic by decreas-ing contacts among students is not warranted unless allother likely points of assembly are closed (e.g., malls,fast-food restaurants, churches, recreation centers, etc.).Such widespread closures, sustained throughout the pan-demic, would almost certainly have serious adverse so-cial and economic effects.

Georgia has been open for two weeks, but many of the restaurants are still cowering and only doing take out and curbside pick up. I expected it to be wide open from the first day they relaxed the shutdown. And this is north Georgia, home of the Deliverance banjo kid (honest, it is). If the MSM can rattle the cages of desperate backwoods business owners, I’m concerned about how quickly people will dare to venture out.

Two things: You need to take into account the people who are making more getting those temporary checks from the gov’t than they are from working.

You also need to consider what the liability laws in the state are. They are trying to get national protection from COVID-19 lawsuits but it hasn’t passed yet. My niece is a workman’s comp lawyer in Atlanta and she tells me that as you can’t sue for getting the flu at work, you probably can’t sue for COVID-19. However, since this is such an unusual situation, some clever lawyer might figure out a way around that. So be patient.

Also the many hundreds of dollars paid to get full medicals, chest xrays and TB tests and vaccinations.

Shit I once paid over $500 in one medical session to get stabbed in both arms and the ass 7 times with vaccines and some shots were multiple vaccines.

The nice nurse that administered the vaccines then asked me ” Would you like a flu shot while you are here? It is only $25″

Absolutely, the $600 bonus money was clearly going to hinder a return to work. That was by design. The restaurants may not be able to open because they’re short on staff. As far as liability goes, that’s a constant threat. I think it’d be pretty hard to prove culpability of the restaurant, if you could even prove you contracted it while on the restaurant property.

    yep

What are the chances that this stays in place?

The Act will be automatically repealed unless it’s continued by a motion in the House every 90 days or another agreed time period, meaning the law won’t stay on the statute books beyond the period needed to respond to COVID-19.

It’s got a 24 month life but these thins tend to get rolled over…. because they can!

It all depends on what happens between now and the November elections.

If the Opposition makes it an election issue then this Bill is toast. If not politicians being politicians will just leave this monster mouldering away buried until it can be resurrected and used against the citizenry for some other nefarious reason.

At the moment it doesn’t look good.

The new Commissioner of Police seems to be missing in action. NOT a good sign. The cops on the beat HATE it as it leaves them swinging in the breeze and subject to felony charges.

Nara is a former capital of Japan prior to the Shogun period. I think the capital moved from Nara to Kyoto also down south to Tokyo and then to Oda (Tokyo).

Nara is smaller than Koyoto but more beautiful. A schoolboy from Nara was swapped with a boy from Sydney Australia when the two cities became sister cities. Each boy lived with the family of the mayor of the city. Tabor lived with the Mayor of Sydney Harry Jensen and came to school where all the 11 little Jensen boys went. That was my old school and Tabor was in my class and we were BBF.

    🙂

VERY uptight when he arrived complete with a Japanese high school uniform with a high collar and brass buttons. We ‘fixed’ that and within 6 months Tabor was 100% Aussie. We hiked in the Blue Mountains, caved and surfed at Maroubra beach or Coogee beach. Great times.
