The lead author is one Thomas V. Inglesby and he’s no slouch.

    Greetings & Salutations & Waaaaazup?
We are having daily rains of Biblical proportions here in the Chicago Area, five inches just yesterday.
It is a soggy mess and sumpumps are at full throttle.
Yesterday my dog Maggie irresponsibly dived into a puddle, a nonessential activity!
To compound her transgression she failed to socially distance from our other dog.
As a good citizen I reported her transgression to Governor Pritzker.
A swat team of state dog shamers will soon arrive to insult and berate her.
It has to be done to combat Climate Change or something.

This Nassau County Executive gives a tutorial on how to play tennis responsibly during the kung Fu Flu.
You can touch your own balls and that those of another family member. However you can not touch the bills of a nonfamily opponent. But you can”kick their balls.”

    Glad you like it CW!

As an intro: This paper was written in 2006, during the H5N1 flu (bird) and it’s about mitigation strategies during an influenza pandemic. It cites the WHO multiple times. It is very specific. Quarantines not only do not work, the economic fallout is devastating.

Thomas Inglesby was the lead author, his background is in bioterrorism, he is currently a head honcho at Johns Hopkins. A co-author is one Henderson, D.A. This man is credited with wiping out small pox.

The paper was published in Biosecurity and Bioterrorism: Biodefense Strategy, Practice and Science.

What this publication shows is that for at least almost 15 years they have known that shut downs do not work, they are counterproductive. Would Trump know this? No. Would Fauci and Brix and Redfield know this?

To ask the question is to answer it.

Hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH-19) left Los Angeles today [15 May], seven and a half weeks after arriving at the California hot spot in the COVID-19 pandemic and 10 days after discharging its last patient.

The medical treatment facility (MTF) staff will leave 61 personnel behind to continue supporting state and local healthcare providers at skilled nursing facilities, at the direction of Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM).

The article is a fabulous read. Hubby & I have believed since the beginning of the shutdown that Democrats want Trump’s successful economic policies to be devastated. They don’t care what happens to the vulnerable worker in the meantime. I hope and pray their villainy is paid back in the voting booths in November.

Believe me, we know the feeling. It’s one reason why, if at all possible, delay taking your social security payments as long as possible because the monthly difference in what you bring home can be significant.

    @ eaglesoars:

I have to get off my ass and find a job. I have to work another year and nine months before I even get a sniff at any social security payment in my old age.

A fact that does not really concern US citizens born here but is relevant to Green card holders and naturalized citizens is you have to accrue 40 credits/points or whatever they are called before you are entitled to any social security benefits. Also that applies to medicaid/medicare or other fun stuff.

You can get one credit per quarter, so a maximum of four per year. To get the magical credit/point you have to be employed and paying into SS in that quarter.

As a Green Card holder that means 10 years of continual employment.

No federal or state aid is available to Green Card holders, well it is but if you claim for any aid good luck getting your Green Card renewed when it expires. ( First one is valid 2 years, thereafter ten years )

And while I am on this rambling rant, a Green Card holder must carry it with them at all times and must produce it when requested or it is a misdemeanor.

No way am I carrying mine! They cost $750 ( last time I looked ) to replace and a shit load of paperwork to do.

ALSO! seeing I am on a roll here, a Green Card holder must report a change of address to INS within 30 days. Not reporting a change of address within 30 days is a misdemeanor and can result in the cancellation of the Green Card and deportation.

Um, I moved 5 years ago and um, forgot to fill in all the paperwork..

Now, ILLEGALS don’t have to do any of that shit, they get free food, free housing, just lots of free shit.

Seriously thinking of changing my name to Jose Kwervo, feeding my Green Card to the cats and becoming illegal.

A side note, I am proud of my Green Card, my picture on it I look like shit as it was taken at 7am at the INS place in Omaha but the card itself is a thing of beauty.

If you know someone that has one take a look at it if you can. Especially the back. No wonder they charge $750 to replace one.

Also, I watched some of the vid of the Barr/Wray briefing on the Pensecola shooting (Al Queda, surprise!). Somebody asked about the Durham investigation and Barr said that as far as criminal indictments go, he doesn’t expect Durham will be pursuing that for Obama and Biden.

I’ve lost a current link, it’s out there. It was just a few minutes, I got the impression that so far, if Durham had found something criminal he’d go for it, but he hasn’t.

English is said to be one of the most difficult languages to learn.

I feel grateful that I was born smart and am fluent in speaking and reading and writing the Queen’s English.

Yesterday I went to Walmart to get a new pair of headphones, I buy the $4.88 ones as the cats chew through the wires if I do not hide them but that is another story. Well this is the same story. Needed headphones as a cat ( the black one ) chewed up the wire.

Anyway, headphones are in a locked cabinet at Walmart and you have to ask an “associate” to get you what you want and they take it to the cash register.

I asked for a pair of headphones and pointed to which ones. Nice person said OK, I will bring them to cash register over there. He pointed to where I should go and off I went.

Few minutes later headphones arrived. Yep, a pair!

    So I bought both…

What the hell, they were only $4.88 a pair, or each or whatever unit of measure headphones come in.

Got home, turned on computer and logged into Amazon so I could continue watching the Australian police show “Rush”

Carefully removed one headphone, or pair of headphones whichever language you speak, from packaging, untangled cord, plugged them in then went into kitchen to get a beer so I could settle down and enjoy the hot chicks with cool accents…

Came back 30 seconds later, sat down and, well you guessed. Something had already chewed through the wire. Lucky I had a spare pair, or one…

So, I thank the Walmart associate for suggesting I get two pairs, or one pair of two or whatever transpired.

Yes, now headphones never leave my sight, they are either on my head or in my hand as I go get a beer or pee and when I sleep they live in a secret drawer. Same drawer that contains car keys and anything else I do not want to be stolen or destroyed.

Rand Paul just tweeted this paper to Dr. Fauci

Study this chart for a few minutes and take in all the data – from the asymptomatic/mildly symptomatic rates to the hospital and fatality rates divided by age. You have to get to the 50-59 age group just to reach a 0.1% fatality rate, the level often cited as the overall death rate for the seasonal flu. Those are all lower odds than an individual has of dying in a giving year of any cause and in the case of an average 50-year-old, five times lower.

Lou Dobbs just went off on Barr but he mis-states what Barr said. Dobbs is taking it as Obama/Biden won’t be prosecuted regardless. What Barr said is that based on the information he(Barr) has now, Durham will not be pursuing criminal charges. But if you consider it in context of what he said before, the takeaway isn’t that anything is being ignored, it’s that nothing has been found. I posted the transcript upthread, see what you think.

    Yup

China restricted ALL DOMESTIC air travel out of Wuhan city as well as the Province on 23 January. Xi wilfully left INTERNATIONAL AIR travel out of Wuhan and Hubei Province free to continue seeding the spread of Wuhan virus globally until the 7 Feb when western nations stopped flying out of Wuhan and forbad Chinese airlines operating out of China into Western countries. That 2 weeks however was long enough for XI to spread this virus globally infecting millions and killing hundreds of thousands of people in the West. Xi is a criminal running a thug-ocracy dressed up as a political party. China needs to be brought to heel economically, legally and if necessary militarily.

Mike Pompeo brought home a golden puppy yesterday, Mercer. You should have seen the crap he got. Later in the day, Mark Levin’s dog Barney died. Mark posted about it around 10 pm eastern. It got ugly.

The Thunderbirds had a near-mishap yesterday. An LAPD helicopter unexpectedly got into their flightpath as they were turning. Happens at around 25 seconds in:

Tye #2 aircraft instinctively reacted then the #3 rapidly moved well out of the way to allow his #2 room to manoeuvre. The helicopter was probably out of shot to the left and one the #3 saw that there was no longer a conflation he rapidly rejoined the formation.

The helicopter shouldn’t have been anywhere near the restricted airspace around the Tuunderbirds demonstration airspace. I’ll give you 0 to 1 it was a press chopper!

Bloody preset aircraft. I saw one crash onto a motorway cross ramp after hitting a Police squirrel helicopter. The C-172 crashed between two cars killing the pilot and the traffic radio announcer. I saw the chopper’s roar depart fly up and over the body and fall into an inner city cemetery do no collateral damage there either. The fuselage of the Squirrel rolled about 70 degrees right and fell from about 800 feet onto the only empty piece of motorway. The fireball reached twice the height of the overpass. I was in an army uniform driving home so I first put on my beret to look official. Jumped the centre divider of the multiple motorways and reached the wreck and fire. An ambulance arrived from the wrong direction on the motorway as I looked for survivors. The biggest piece of fuselage was about the size of a dinner plate except for the ending that was a smoking hunk of metal. The Ambo yelled to me to check a car that had been engulfed by the fireball. They had already got the driver out. Checked the back of the scorched car … nix. The a pneumatic bottle exploded from the wreck just as I was running past. I found myself running 6′ in the air 🙂 All three cops were just blackened body trunks, no arms, legs or heads. The only thing that was not damaged was a pristine white bone dome sitting on the roadway. I gingerly kicked it over expecting to have a head inside. Nothing. IT must have been the spare helmet that got thrown clear!

    Nasty

Well, I think there is an iffy connection between the network card and the motherboard – that’s an analogy – but I’m not about to get a screwdriver and open this puppy up and – do what? I have no clue. Once I can get a geek out here to look at it I’ll perhaps get enough info to decide if I need a new laptop or network card or something. Every other device in the house is fine, i practically dropped the router on its head, there is no problem there.

As I was testing and fooling around, I noticed a big difference in the way the U.S. press and the Brit press are reporting on the people who rebel. The Brits call them ‘covidiots’ and pretty much scorn them for being ignorant ignoring social distancing rules, etc. (But at least it got Harry and Megan off the front pages. Not a word.)

Here, we elevate them to hero status, see the people at the gym in NJ. I see reports of the same rebellion in Germany but I haven’t seen enough to understand what stance the press is taking. One or two painting them as the usual anti-gov’t thugs.

And I don’t even know what the hell is going on in France. I’ve seen rpts about what the gov’t is doing but nothing about how it’s being rec’d.

So – it is only the U.S., as far as I can tell, where the people who say ‘fuck you’ are celebrated at all.

I’m not a hardware person, this is totally not fair and I’m going to bed in a snit.

The fuck you movement is patchy depending on what State you are in. It’s also complicated by the difference in rates of infection like SA, WA and the NT where rates are low but then WA is beholden to China for its Iron Ore exports so they are playing down the China link. The Socialist Peoples’ Republic of Victoria keeps pushing the go back to work dates further and further.

State vs. State as each State either wants to open State Borders or further restrict States isolation.

It’s a mixed message but overall the folks have quite enough of this State over reach.

An ex-Army friend of mine has written the following. He married a Vietnamese lady and spends part of the year in Vung Tau.

My question: do you know of American contractors in Da Nang or does he have an overworked imagination?
I will take money on the USA.

Da Nang has Anti-air and anti-ship missiles operated by American ‘contractors’. The Vietnamese weakness is their navy, but the 25 islands they occupy will exact a high price from the Chinese, should they attempt to take hem by force.

This is the world’s Alsace-Lorraine, Sudetenland, Cz moment. Resist now or fight WW3 at a time of China’s choosing.

Can’t read it as it is behind the Pay wall.

China would love to go to war (just like Hitler), because they can, but it would still be a massacre of their PLAN (as the Japanese found out too late). This is why they have stocked their SCS Islands with 12-months’ supply of everything, so they do not have to be resupplied. They are too hard to crack (think Okinawa level casualties x 7). But if you wreck their radars and comms, then they are blind to beyond line-of-site, so you can sail past by giving them a 40km berth.

Vietnam will fight to the last tank, ATGM and man and will kill the Chinese at a rate of 5 or 6:1 – at least.

If the Chinese went nuclear, then the Trumpian doctrine of ‘unleash Hell will activate as many of their 14,000 MIRV’s as are necessary.

Get a good Sauvignon and of course Camembert, and come and watch the Atomic Sunsets from my VT balcony. After a nuclear war the charged particles of dust in the atmosphere will produce unbelievably beautiful rainbow sunsets. I think the Purple and Green lightning flashes are best complemented by a Duck Pate washed down with a Deep Red Claret …

In the 1978-79 war when the Chinese launched a surprise attack, the Vietnamese made the brave decision to leave their best divisions in Cambodia (to finish that job) and fight the Chinese invasion with what was available. That meant they could only field 40,000 regulars and 80,000 militia and reservists in battalion sized units against the 350,000 Chinese attacking in 8 places on three fronts. In 3-months the Vietnamese lost 22,000 dead from their 2nd rate troops. All of them were replaced by units from all across Vietnam, but still they did not pull out of Cambodia.

The Chinese deployed the 43rd, 54th Armies supplemented by the 58th Division + the 13th and 50th Armies from Wuhan. In the first month at Cao Bang & Lang Son (which were also battle sites between the Viet Minh and the French) the Chinese lost 30,000 dead – and some enthusiasm. They added another 50,000 fresh troops (who were not expecting to be deployed and were not ready) to no effect and had to withdraw when their LoC was cut by ‘Behind-the-Lines’ guerrilla action. The Chinese persisted for another two months, losing another 20,000 and gaining no territory before agreeing to a ceasefire. They still hold three small fingers of Vietnamese territory, which rankles the Vietnamese.

The Chinese have greatly improved since then, but so have the Vietnamese …

There are American military personnel along the southern coast. Not sure if they are rebadged contractors to avoid China angst or they are true contractors.

I agree with most of what your friend says except that the next Sino-VN war will not be in VN’s favour. China has enough modern conventional military might to decimate VN’s infrastructure without resorting to holding territory, which would indeed be costly. A quick devastation to plaster news of victory on Chinese newspapers to divert the domestic mob’s attention. This would be to put pressure on VN to cede the SCS islands. But Hanoi wouldn’t be able to do it. VCP knows that if it yielded to China that would be the end of its legitimacy.

So, what options does China have to go to war? Taiwan and the Senkaku islands are a bridge too far coz that would most likely draw in the US. Hitting Vn would be the most convenient right now but once Beijing started war with VN it would have to finish it. Wouldn’t be able to devastate VN and then thinking VN would not do something in return, like explicitly inviting the Yanks and Japanese in to set up bases in VN and recognising Taiwan’s independence.

CCP is facing a tough time right now with the world supporting Morrison’s call for an intl investigation on Wuhan. In Vietnamese there is a saying, can’t advance and can’t retreat it’s a shitty position to be in, and that’s where Beijing is.

Pritzker and Lori Lightfoot want multiple billions of federal dollars. Much of that money would be to cover the unfounded pensions that they negotiated.
They were all screaming about Federalism early on. In other words their demand was that the Federal Givernment not interfere with their efforts. But now they are demanding a Federal bailout to cover the mess that they made.

DeBlasio, Cuomo, Newsom – all of them saw this as a chance to get themselves out of the economic hole they had dug themselves in.

Since the Supreme Court has sanctioned it, I think President Trump should advise both Cuomo and Newsom that since they are sanctuary states, they should not expect to receive any funds from relief bills. I think at last count, California paid out about $14 billion in benefits to illegals every year. But they seriously try to tell you those illegals are paying billions in taxes too. Like hell they are. If they’re paying income taxes (which I doubt), they’re doing it with a stolen identity; if they’re paying sales taxes, they’re doing no more for this state than the tourists who hit Fisherman’s Wharf for crappy t-shirts.

Fucking around with voting should be an automatic life sentence

Disturbing news is coming out of Oregon, as hundreds of people are reporting that their voter registration was switched from Republican to non affiliated without their knowledge or permission.

Oregon is entirely vote-by-mail, and ballots were sent out in the last week of April, and due this Tuesday at 8:00 PM. Many were shocked to open their ballot to find that they were no longer with the party they thought they were with, and they received non partisan ballots. As Oregon is a closed primary state, this effectively denies these people the right to vote in the party’s primary that they thought they were registered as.

This is only reportedly happening to folks who were registered as Republican.

The Pensacola shootings was a terrorist attack? Who knew?

Barr and FBI director Christopher Wray chided iPhone maker Apple for not assisting the FBI in unlocking the Alshamrani’s phone immediately after the attack, which added time for the FBI to unlock the phone.

“The trove of information found on these phones has proven to be invaluable to this ongoing investigation and critical to the security of the American people. However, if not for our FBI’s ingenuity, some luck, and hours upon hours of time and resources, this information would have remained undiscovered,” Barr said in a statement.
“The bottom line: our national security cannot remain in the hands of big corporations who put dollars over lawful access and public safety. The time has come for a legislative solution.”

Well, it seems that there was a previously unknown CRIMINAL investigation of Flynn and it was a title III warrant granted for that endeavor that produced the tap of the Kislyak call. Not a FISA warrant.

That may mean that leaking Flynn’s name to the press was not an illegal act, as it is under the FISA law that statute is written. I’m trying to find out if his name would have also been protected under a title III warrant

A title III warrant is for a wiretap granted by a judge after LE has persuaded target has or is about to commit a criminal offense

    @ Aussie Infidel:

I seem to recall that it was SAN FRANCISCO that did the first complete shut down. It was quickly followed by Alameda (Oakland) and Contra Costa. Two days later, Newsom shut down the state. Mind you, we were NOT overrun with COVID cases, less than 10,000 state-wide, our death toll was relatively low.

I’m highly suspicious that San Francisco chose to just completely shut down at a time when we were not in crisis mode. Sounds to me like Nancy made a phone call, because they realized that this might be a way to injure Trump’s economy. But it backfired, and people DIDN’T blame Trump for what happened, although God knows they tried like hell.

Note the name of the person who tweeted it, Andrew CHEN. Subsequent tweets in the thread assure people he has reviewed the documentation and there are no privacy concerns, blah blah blah.

It looks like they had drained Wixom lake to repair the dam, then people bitched about not having their waterfront so they overfilled the lake w/o repairing the dam and…………..this would be the Edenville dam, don’t know anything about the other two.

From pics it looks like an earth gravity dam. That generally isn’t a structure that can handle refilling very well w/o reinforcement. This dam wasn’t over-topped, it flat out failed. And there is a Dow plant downstream people are worried about, but I don’t know what it does.

    I’m going to bed.

“We’ve done more regulation cutting than any president in history,” Trump declared, saying more expedited orders are necessary to get the estimated 36 million Americans out of work due to the coronavirus back to full employment.

“I’m directing agencies to review the hundreds of regulations we’ve already suspended in response to the virus and make these suspensions permanent where possible,” he added. “I’m also instructing agencies to use the emergency authorities to speed up regulation cuts or new rules that will create jobs and prosperity and get rid of unnecessary rules and regulations.”

Clearly she needs to be punished. I recommend a good spanking 🙂

While there were reportedly “no complaints” from her patients, hospital chiefs punished the nearly nude nurse for “non-compliance with the requirements for medical clothing.” The nurse claimed she did not realize that her underwear was showing through the PPE.

However, the regional health ministry confirmed that “a disciplinary sanction was applied to the nurse of the infectious diseases department who violated [uniform] requirements,” the Sun reports. They did not elaborate on what exactly the disciplinary measure would be.

Of course then all the other nurses are going to request a good spanking.

The way it has worked since Trump began running and then won is he casually trolls the lefturds and the media. They then take the bait and attack. He then attacks back devastatingly. They then claim to be victims of the mean bully Trump. What they’re really mad about is his skill at sucking them in everytime. Like a good boxers calculated jab coming in tantalizingly close, infuriating and antagonizing while keeping them at arm’s distance.

Every once in a while like in this case they will try to go on offensive with Trump’s own game. Trump of course, doesn’t take the bait and resulting in this case Pelousy looks petty and foolish.

The Supreme Court blocked a House committee Wednesday from receiving grand jury material gathered by Robert Mueller’s special counsel investigators, issuing a stay while a legal dispute over the records is on appeal.

The House Judiciary Committee said it needed the material now because it has been investigating President Donald Trump and its work “did not cease with the conclusion of the impeachment trial.”

In a brief order, the court gave the government until June 1 to file its formal appeal. If no appeal is filed by then, the stay will dissolve.

It really is blasphemy on both coasts, to have opinions out of line with the Idiot Left mob. It can be dangerous.

A friend of my younger daughter is a nurse who volunteered to work in a NYC hospital during the crisis, for $5000/wk. She’s actually very moderate politically, and doesn’t like Trump. I live in Novi, which is halfway between Detroit and Ann Arbor. This is considered a fairly-conservative area of the suburbs, but we’re still in the middle of the Southeastern Michigan “Asses Of Evil.” You have to judge the crowd before you start spouting off your opinions on things, but at least it’s not like preaching the Bible on a street corner in Medina, Saudi Arabia.

    @ coldwarrior:

They never give up, do they? They REALLY believe that the Grand Jury testimony is going to be their golden ticket to impeachment and that the fight against releasing it is to protect President Trump and his Russian connections. No Nads is as dumb as a rock and is trying to one-up Schiffty, thinking he’ll be the hero.

No…the fight is against going against the precedent of releasing grand jury testimony where witnesses do not have benefit of counsel. There is also the added worry that this will leak to the media, which we know Nadler et al. are capable of doing.

Will be interested to see the DOJ’s appeal. It’s another game of Trump playing 4D chess. He knows there’s nothing there.

The machinations against Manafort were designed to manipulate the courts into forcing his Covington & Burling attorneys to break privilege and testify before the grand jury. Maybe this is what No Nads thinks will be his treasure trove.

I don’t have a particular problem with it, as long as they have to return an application and actually request a ballot. NM is doing that. They mailed an absentee ballot request to every registered voter.

Where there’s a problem is when they just send out ballots to the last-known address of everyone on the voter registration rolls, regardless of when they last voted or if they’re even alive.

Accordingly, it must and dare not be considered a trifling matter but a most serious one to seek counsel against this and to save our souls from the Jews, that is, from the devil and from eternal death. My advice, as I said earlier, is:

First, that their synagogues be burned down, and that all who are able toss in sulphur and pitch; it would be good if someone could also throw in some hellfire. That would demonstrate to God our serious resolve and be evidence to all the world that it was in ignorance that we tolerated such houses, in which the Jews have reviled God, our dear Creator and Father, and his Son most shamefully up till now but that we have now given them their due reward.

    315 | May 20, 2020 11:36 pm

    @ coldwarrior:

If this is your sole view of Luther and you are going to reject the rest of his body of work, you are failing to take into account the historical context of Luther’s time. This was the time when the Catholic Church was burning those who oppose papal authority at the church and were pouring hot oil or molten lead down the throats of those who rejected the papal authority and were trying to profess their Christian church Luther himself came under the ban of the church and his life was constantly in danger as a result. This is the man who stood up to the Chief Inquisitor of the church professing, “Unless I am convinced by the testimony of the Scriptures and by clear reason (for I do not trust in the pope or councils alone, since it is well known that they have often erred and contradicted themselves), I am bound by the Scriptures I have quoted. My conscience is captive to the Word of God. I cannot and I will not retract anything, since it is neither safe nor right to go against conscience. Here I stand. I cannot do otherwise. God help me. Amen.”

Yes, Lutherans reject the anti-semitic statements Luther made. Those statements were made by a man just like the rest of us who had failings and was sinful just like the rest of us. However, to reject the rest of his efforts on this basis, ignoring the historical context is close to the same thing we see in historical revisionism where the works of our founding fathers are rejected because they owned slaves or treated slaves as only 1/3 of a person for the purposes of the census (which was really an anti-slavery position).

The historical change initiated by the 95 Theses posted on the Castle Church Door at Wittenberg was significant and we are reaping the benefits of what that started even today. Nothing in those theses nor the bulk of his theological works were anti-semitic but were the spark that started the religious freedoms we enjoy today. Barbarian’s choice of that phrase would in no way be a bad thing.

After seeing Bloomberg crater they ought to have new respect for Trump. And there were other billionaires in the Demoncrap race that got even less traction than Little Mike.

Somewhat depressing but certainly not surprising. Twitter bans American conservatives. But seemingly gleefully enables Chicomm propaganda.

    https://www.breitbart.com/tech/2020/05/20/chinese-virus-information-war-chinas-government-accounts-post-90000-tweets-since-april/

Oh and this is helpful from the Big Brains at the Kissinger Institute on China…..

Robert Daly, director of the Kissinger Institute on China and the United States at the Wilson Center, a Washington think tank, commented on China’s conspiracy about Fort Detrick stating: “Obnoxious and childish as this is, it should be noted that such Chinese statements have generally mirrored earlier American statements. Rhetorically, China is counterpunching — not throwing the first blow.”

Yah think Mr. Think Tank? So they’re just mirroring our statements? Statements that happen to be true. The virus exploded in Wuhan, they deleted their data, quarantined Wuhan city/province knowing it was too late, delayed conveying the salient facts of the virus, continued allowing international travel, terrorized anyone trying to get the truth out… Have yet to close the wet markets, their ostensible scapegoat. We and other Western countries OTOH are the victims. Oh yeah…that seems fair.

    Oh Jeez. LOL!

Joe Biden can’t remember the size of the 2009 stimulus bill he claims he spent every day running.

He says it was $84 billion dollars, but it was ten times that!

So in that universe Shrillbeast falls up the steps, trips backward out of a plane and gets thrown out of a van onto the sidewalk. And Trump wins the Presidency a second time, gets impeached and wins the Presidency again the first time before riding up an elevator.

So after pathetically and forlornly clicking it several times long after the announcement of its demise I have finally deleted my link to Diary of Daedalus. Goodbye old friend.

    I’m worried about Beed though.

As Chonky McFatso Johnson was Andy Breitbart’s “guilty pleasure” for trolling. So Mika and Morning Joke are the same for POTUS’ DJT.

I don’t think Jack Dorkey’s Twitter actually made a penny of profit until DJT started running and won the Presidency. One hysterical old plastic surgery scarred spawn of a globalist Demonseeder and her bumbling beau Beaker are going to take that away. And AMESSNBC bigs too probably shit a brick when they heard her say that. Would anyone watch that sad sorry crew of journolists, plaigerists and Demcrap flunkies if they didn’t have Trump’s latest outrageous Twitter outrage to crap their undies over?

i have spent years studying papal/church history. its a hobby of mine. i don’t reject his work nor do i fail to account for historical context.

i just don’t see him as this pillar of perfection and holiness and revere him as a wonderful, saintly reformer. he was a dirt-bag churchman just like the rest of them back then. religion was scam #1 in that period of time. it was far worse than being in politics is now.

    @ Deplorable Martian Overlord:

trump’s super-hero power is the ability to get everyone to drop their masks and show their true identity. it is amazing.

However, to reject the rest of his efforts on this basis, ignoring the historical context is close to the same thing we see in historical revisionism where the works of our founding fathers are rejected because they owned slaves or treated slaves as only 1/3 of a person for the purposes of the census (which was really an anti-slavery position).

one of my favorites right there.

it has always bothered me how one can, on one hand, declare that all men are created equal with god given rights and then on the other hand own slaves.

yes, that is how things were done back then. ok. then quit it with the all men created equal stuff and get on with the planting.

so either the slave-owning philosopher is a hypocrite or he is a liar and doesnt really believe in what he is saying. either way, in historical context or not, it looks rather foolish to own slaves and agitate for the rights of man. these two positions are in fact mutually exclusive.

but, our side reveres the founding fathers so there can be no questioning the glaring ridiculousness of their positions on slavery vis a vis the rights of man.

sorry, historical context or not. its absurd on it’s face. but that does not detract from the work done and massive achievements made. their failings makes them hypocrites/liars who had to make a living too. their philosophical failings make them look more human and less like a heroic painting on the wall…making them more accessible and understandable and far more interesting to us today.
