Day 78 of The Great American Lockdown

by coldwarrior ( 275 Comments › )
Filed under Open thread, Uncategorized at June 1st, 2020 - 7:00 am

We are being singled out and punished for voting for Trump and defying the little Marxist Governor and his freak of a transvestite health minister.

NO FREEDOM FOR YOU

*do note that the local rag, Pravda on the Beaver, has shut down comments for this article. We can’t have any dissent against the commie and the tranny*

Yet, it is perfectly fine for people in PGH and Philly to riot in close proximity without fear of Wuhan flu infections?

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.

Play nice!

The jury in the George Floyd case will need to be completely shielde and anonymous, starting during the selection process. I don’t know how, or even if, it can be done though

    @ right_wing2:

the left will pray for a ‘not guilty’ so the rioting can continue.

this is playing out like nixon in 72. this will frame trump as the law and order president versus the lefty, pro-crime candidate.

this violence does not play well outside of the cities. it may even flip a few votes in the cities.

Just got a call from my managing partner. Tells to work from hone, due to civil unrest in Oakland. I asked her why the hell she was up at such an ungodly hour and she said “last time we made the call to close Oakland, you were already at work.”

Here in Chester County we’re not ‘yellow’ until the 5th, which is stupid. Of course the whole damn thing is stupid, as proven by the media ignoring the virus angle of the left-wing protests but harping on the right-leaning protests.

My brother is addicted to that stupid TikTok app and he has shown me dozens of videos of protesters that are filming and saying that they’re having actual peaceful protests when suddenly busloads of “dudes led by dudes in black” show up and disburse through the crowd and start “stirring up the shit”. When asked what ‘hood these guys are from, none of them will give a straight answer. Also saw a video on Parler last night of a bearded white guy in black handing money out to black teens to riot and cause trouble at a peaceful rally.

There’s a ton of evidence in the wild right now that this is not happening organically.

I see a lot of companies on Facebook right now virtue signaling by putting out statements “supporting” the protests, yet not a single one has the balls to condemn the riots and looting. Is it really that damn hard to put out two statements or one statement containing both?

We are very blessed here in Wichita that there has not been any violence as a result of Mr Floyd’s death. There was a rally on Saturday which was attended by both members of the community and the police department, and there was not a single incident of violence that I’m aware of.

Judge Sullivan’s response in Flynn case. I haven’t read it, the only comment I’ve seen is that he says he hasn’t decided

Looking at the table of contents, tho, it looks like it’s going to be a barn burner. One chapter is titled “The Court’s Precendents Do Not Preclude Judge Sullivan’s Assessment of the Government’s Motion”

    @ eaglesoars:

I didn’t have to read past the first paragraph. No, Sullivan, all you need to do in this matter is dismiss. You don’t need to finesse anything. The government wants to dismiss and the defendant wishes to withdraw his guilty plea. You’re a biased SOB. You can snot till the cows come home “but he kept saying he was guilty…” Yeah, and he is now claiming that it was insufficiency of counsel, a crooked prosecutor and a crooked investigation team that brought him to that point. He got better counsel, that was dedicated to HIS rights and fair play.

And Tucker wanted to remind everyone that Kushner is a Democrat. Yeah, so is Ivanka. It was a real smear job. Tucker can be an ugly SOB sometimes.

The last time I checked, nobody in the WH was suggesting emptying prisons, altho Trump has done a lot about prison reform. And that credit goes in no small part to Kim Kardashian. Who is now in law school, btw, because she’s dead serious about it.

Yeah my company’s CEO put out a universal email deploring this “reprehensible act” (seems to have pre-judged things, not a good thing for a corporate officer) and then went on to extol our values of diversity and inclusion and blah blah blah

It seems EVERYBODY is getting into it. I don’t expect the men here to know the companies, but Sephora and Allure are big in the beauty/cosmetic industry. I buy A LOT from Sephora and get emails from Allure everyday on what’s ‘hot’. Today Allure’s email had as its top story how you can contribute to BLM. I cancelled that email subscription. I had to order something from Sephora, too. As part of my rewards (you get points), among the usual perfume samples, etc., I could opt to ‘donate’ money to a number of minority ‘justice’ charities.

TRY to find a replacement for Sephora. It’s like trying to find a replacement for Walmart. At least it was part of the rewards pgm and not in your face like Allure.

At least there’s still SokoGlam, which is a beauty site based on products out of Korea (very good, btw, if the ladies in your life are looking for excellent skin care)

There is a lot of big-swinging-dick going on about what kind of helicopter it is, but the fact remains, it is going down in D.C.

A U.S. Army Blackhawk helicopter used a “show of force” maneuver on protesters in Washington, D.C. on Monday night. It’s a tactic often conducted by low-flying jets in combat zones to scare away insurgents.

    ‘insurgents’

Last night looters ran roughshod over Fairfield. This was not part of a protest, these were gangs of thugs assembling outside the Solano Mall to break into Best Buy, Macy’s and the various phone stores, There was no “peaceful” protest that was going on hat they had originally been part of.

My understanding is that they didn’t get far, the crowd wasn’t that big and the police handled it, but there were social media posts suggesting that they were going to swarm the neighborhoods and rob the houses there, Fortunately nothing came of it, but between the sirens and the helicopters overhead, we didn’t get to sleep until 3:00 a.m., and even then it was rather fretful. First time in my life I slept with a loaded gun in my nightstand, I have since put it back in my safe and locked my bedroom door so the the baby couldn’t get in.

82nd Airborne Division Arrives to DC Metro Area with Black Hawks and Chinooks

An 82nd Airborne Division’s Immediate Response Force battalion arrived to Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland Monday evening for a civil unrest mission in the nation’s capitol, according to sources.

The IRF battalion — which deployed to Iraq earlier this year to quell Iran-backed violence — brought approximately 750 soldiers, ten Black Hawk helicopters, and four Chinooks, according to sources. The helicopters are utility, not attack, and are used to transport troops short distances.

The aircraft are just one of the ways troops could be transported, but would give the IRF the ability to rapidly deploy to a number of locations in the D.C. Metro area quickly.

The force was ordered to the region on Monday afternoon, after being told to be ready on Saturday, sources told Breitbart News.

Two more IRF battalions have been put on short-notice alert status — meaning they would have to be ready to deploy within two hours if ordered.

Of course not but boobytrapping explosive devices will put a stop to that particular activity faster than anything.

I don’t suggest boobytrapping a pile of bricks. Just move them suripiciously so that when anarchists go to retrieve them they get arrested.

Booby trapping pipe bombs however is a whole different kettle of fish. And it’s hard for terrorists to decide whether it was a set up trap or just a home goal.

The next level of college kids doing their revolutionary ‘thingie’ are treated as cannon fodder. Then the assault troops from the general mob are stirred to action and it’s them who get hurt, lose their neighbourhoods, jobs and lives.

Te professional revolutionaries care nothing for either their cannon fodder or the stirred up mob.

Actually my cop son is doing his detective training and is ‘doing’ cases to gather evidence for prosecutions. He arrested 7 separate individuals or groups the day before yesterday. His supervisor couldn’t figure out how he could do that. He just convinced the criminals that they were totally compromised and the smart thing would be to come to the Station and turn themselves in. He was so convincing that they ALL did . As they turned up he arrested them, thanked them for getting smart at last and locked them up while their bail conditions were arranged and court appearances were scheduled.

The FBI back in the days of the Weathermen didn’t have access to the database of the NSA!

Please tell me that you believe that the CORE Antifar are all known and couldn’t be rounded up in 24 hours and shipped off the Gitmo given the power of the current databases plus surveillance and monitoring ALL types of communications. Oh and please don’t think that Antifar can use encryption to cover their tracks. I know for a FACT that that is practically impossible if you piss the NSA off enough and release the required encryption breaking $$$$.

As for Antifa using sophisticated encryption – the leadership might be, but the dregs are too stupid and would never be trusted with it. As for the NSA decrypt capabilities – yeah, well, have you noticed that the FBI is always going to Apple to beg them to get them into somebody’s phone cuz they don’t have the password and Apple tells them to go piss up a rope? And the FBI always says THAT’s why they haven’t moved on the case and somehow it never occurs to them to run out to Maryland and ask the NSA? What’s up with that?

Decrypting ALWAYS comes down to $$$$$s. If you throw enough $$$$$ at a decrypt you can break it . Alternatively just hack Apple and take the decrypt straight off their shelf. In the case you were alluding to it was the Israelis who provided the decrypt $$$ and smarts. Not that the NSA can’t do it but it all comes down to priorities. Given what’s happening in the States right now, my wild arsed guess would be that viable $$$$$ are the least of one’s worry.

And don’t diss the ‘dregs of Antifa’. They know that because of their ‘drift in drift out’ loose cell structure much encrypt-lite very short term comms can get ‘lost ‘ for a while in the background noise and by the time an agency gets around to it the Op has already gone down and you’re just looking at history, and throwing $$$$ at a history lesson is counter productive.

Been looking at some of the TikTok video my brother has been showing me. Saw a peaceful street with guys just milling about, a few people with protest signs. White bearded guy in black shirt, pants and stocking cap comes walking up with a bottle of gasoline hiding behind his back and stashes it behind a light post. THen goes back for a couple more.

Another video shows a group of Latin Kings working with Chicago PD to hold off looters.

Several other vids with Dudes in black shirts showing up at peaceful protests and stashing rocks, bricks, molotovs, other weapons around protest sites. Also, handing out cash to teenage black men to start shit at protests. Most of these guys are white but some black, wearing black shirts and pants and with black face masks or unmasked with soyboy beards.

Lots of video evidence this time, cellphone culture is not these dirtbags friends. Saw a video of gang members in CA driving off black shirt dudes from their ‘hood that were trying to start a riot. Black shirts about pissed themselves when three carloads of guys with blue bandanas and pistols pulled up.

We lack reporting indicating individuals are coordinating violence across multiple jurisdictions.”

The Research section of Surgisphere’s website features twenty-three “Case Studies from Around the World” as evidence of their prior work and product features. The vast majority of these “case studies” lack scientific substance and actually consist of short letters, press releases or potential use-cases for its database.

In place of actual research, the website appears primarily promotional and gives the impression of an immature tech company with lofty goals as opposed to a global database with real-time data on millions of patients.

Ambrose Evans Pritchard writing in the Daily Telegraph’s Economic Intelligence Review on June 3rd describes this White House strategy statement as a total black and white declaration of Cold War against Xi Jinping’s CCP run China.

AEP’s article is paywalled in the Daily Telegraph of 3rd June.

He says the White House 16-page statement is unusually forthright and blunt, clearly stating that the CCP under Xi Jinping seeks to dominate the world and risk war with the United States.

The Trump Administration now regards China as a predatory power, unrestrained by any regard for international norms and rules.

The statement sets out the steps America, its allies and other concerned nations need to take to prevent China winning the new Cold War.

“Donald Trump is the first president in my lifetime who does not try to unite the American people—does not even pretend to try. Instead, he tries to divide us,” Mattis writes. “We are witnessing the consequences of three years of this deliberate effort. We are witnessing the consequences of three years without mature leadership. We can unite without him, drawing on the strengths inherent in our civil society. This will not be easy, as the past few days have shown, but we owe it to our fellow citizens; to past generations that bled to defend our promise; and to our children.”

No, you were right. A UH-1B is pretty much medieval, at this point. They’ve all been retired by the US Army, including the National Guard.

The helicopter in that video was a UH-72A Lakota, which is its replacement. It’s the military version of the Eurocopter EC145.

‘Instructions given by the military departments to our troops before the Normandy invasion reminded soldiers that ‘The Nazi slogan for destroying us … was ‘Divide and Conquer,’ he writes. ‘Our American answer is ‘In Union there is Strength.’ We must summon that unity to surmount this crisis—confident that we are better than our politics.’

He is comparing Trump to Nazis. There is no excuse. He is giving aid and comfort to enemies, domestic and foreign, and is expunged from the ranks of patriots. If it were up to me, I’d strip him of his rank and military pension.

You don’t stay in a corrupt organization if you are not going to conform. Organizations build a personality and culture and bring in and attract people who fit into that personality and culture. I’ve observed this for years on corporate projects. Some projects start out and develop a personality that resembles the spawn of Satan, chewing up people and spitting them out — sometimes the only way you leave the program is to leave the company. Others start out and become highly productive, collaborative activities that keep both customers and employees satisfied and happy. … and all in the same company and business unit. It all depends upon the initial program management team and how they stand up the activity.

Now that the National Guard is out oppressing citizens? I thought this was the moment you’re waiting for? So why aren’t you out there fighting them with your guns? You’re nothing but a bunch of fucking cowards!”
    .
    .
“Stupid racist rednecks! We live in a civilized society! Don’t you realize the police will protect us?” until when your democrat cities are on fire, and you call 911 and the operator tells you sorry, the police can’t come to your house right now, please try not to get murdered… How is that strict gun control working out for you?

Then you did everything in your power to chase gun owners out of your sainted liberal strongholds. You passed laws. You banned everything we like. Forced all the shooting ranges to close. Forced most of the gun stores to close. And just generally let us know that our kind is not welcome there.

But now you’ve started some shit, YOU want US to go into democrat cities, with democrat mayors, and democrat police chiefs enforcing democrat policies which cause strife among democrats, in order to get into gun fights on your behalf?
