Without wanting to annoy or upset anyone I have to say that in hindsight I would not have moved to, and invested money in, the United States of America 21 years ago if I had the slightest idea as to what it would become in 2020.

I came here to be part of, and live, “The American Dream”

2020, healthcare costs just for basic is almost twice my rent.

I only go to the store at 7am because it feels safer. It probably is. According to Houston news most robbery and shooting and death happens at night. EVERY NIGHT!!!!!

Oh well, I made a bad choice. Too late to change it and no point “crying over spilled milk”

The American Dream is gone, forever.

Another BRILLIANT piece by Anthony Codvilla

    Scamocracy in America

How a fraudulent ruling class plundered our most precious inheritance.

Over the past fifty years the rules of public and even of private life in America have well-nigh reversed, along with the meaning of common words, e.g. marriage, merit, and equality. Social inequality, even more than economic, has increased as personal safety and freedom have plummeted. People are subject to arbitrary power as never before. No one voted for these changes. Often, as with the negation of the Defense of Marriage Act and of the referendum-approved California constitutional provision to the same effect, these reversals expressly negated law. Just as often, as in the case of our mounting restrictions on freedom of speech, they have happened quite outside any law. Altogether, they have transformed a constitutional republic into an oligarchy at war with itself as well as with the rest of society. The U.S. Constitution and the way of life lived under it are historical relics. Our ruling class transformed America’s regime by instituting a succession of scams, each of which transferred power and wealth to themselves. These scams’ blending into one another compel us to recognize them, individually and jointly, as the kind of governance that Augustine called “magnum latrocinium,” thievery writ large. Thievery of power even more than of money—colloquially, scamocracy.

trump has a ton of lawyers and accountants who, i am sure, did their due diligence and everything will be on the up and up. this type of organization EXPECTS audits 24/7/365 and are ready for it.

However, he can still refuse to release them, apparently. They simply refused to sanction a broad meaning of Presidential immunity and it’s back to the lower courts.

The interesting thing is they are looking for “hush money” payoffs.
Uh, I guess the DA isn’t interested in the extortion by these two bitchez, who signed NDAs, in pressuring him for a payoff. I believe THAT is the illegal aspect of this whole transaction.

Vance may have overreached. Daniels has already said that the “affair” never happened which means she literally blackmailed him.

If paying off people is now a crime, there’s going to be a LOT of people in New York Vance needs to look into.

It’s interesting – and others have pointed out – that if there really WAS something in Trump’s tax returns it would have been leaked by now.

I don’t think Congress is going to pursue those tax returns, even now that SCOTUS has said they have the right to request them. Schiff was asking for them purely as dinner theater for the “Russia Collusion” hoax. Schiff knows that no such collusion existed and with the new information coming out about Obama/Biden and their roles in perpetuating this BS, especially since Logan Act Joe is running for President.

His returns will show NOTHING involving Russia. Schiff knows it.

As I read the decisions (Mazars and Vance)

Trump NOT “above the law” re state subpoenas for records in a criminal investigation. They can ask for his tax records

Trump does NOT have to turn over his tax records to the HOUSE. It’s been remanded to the lower court to review and weigh the considerations regarding the subpoena. They are:

Roberts went on to describe a list of considerations that lower courts should have weighed:

“First, courts should carefully assess whether the asserted legislative purpose warrants the significant step of involving the President and his papers.”

“Second, to narrow the scope of possible conflict between the branches, courts should insist on a subpoena no broader than reasonably necessary to support Congress’s legislative objective.”

“Third, courts should be attentive to the nature of the evidence offered by Congress to establish that a subpoena advances a valid legislative purpose.”

“Fourth, courts should be careful to assess the burdens imposed on the President by a subpoena.”

All was good until the city permits for this and that and the fact business was on Tribal land ( Yavapai ) and the FCC permits needed to allow Internet access over the top of a fucking mountain from the city of Prescott to my business in the Frontier Village Center. A hill was in the way. All we needed was a NLOS ( near Line Of Site ) repeater on the hill between the mall on tribal land and the city pf Prescott to bring high speed, and not high speed as we now know it but faster than 1998 dialup. Never was ever going to happen as promised. So my business went down.

Yep. For instance, in Nixon’s case they had evidence of a particular crime – the Watergate break-in – and the other campaign irregularities, including the use of a campaign-financed slush fund – from the testimony they were getting from the Grand Jury. In Trump’s case, there was no evidence of ANY wrongdoing – there isn’t a shred of credible evidence – then or now – that Trump was “colluding” with Russia. Schiff’s request for those tax returns was nothing more than preening for camera time. It was a fishing expedition from first to last.

A week ago, I asked @FCPSNews school board to protect my son’s magnet school, TJ, from a race war. Ive since learned our K-12 kids are in the crosshairs of Woke Inc., selling snake oil activism of “critical race theory.” And our school board is complicit. This is what I told them

The divide between elites and the powerful and the average American is now wider than the Grand Canyon. If the socialists can neuter the President then Flynn goes back into the ‘pot’ where he’ll be relitigated by another court found guilty and locked up … forever… as a warning to others. These socialists are hoping for a ‘Two-fer’ Trump and Flynn. They want Flynn kept in play so that they can have a second attempt at crucifying him in the court of public opinion.

Sullivan is just keeping Flynn ‘in play’ long enough for Trump to be neutered either at the ballot box or through the courts. Sullivan appears to be gagging to mount Flynn’s head on the fender of his pickup! To do that Flyn n must remain vulnerable to attack. The M1151 has about 3,400 lbs of steel armor added to it, while the M1114 has Kevlar panels in the doors and roof. Big difference if someone’s shooting at you with something heavier than an air rifle (which, sadly, is usually the case).

The M1151 also has air conditioning (because the thick bulletproof glass windows don’t open).

In it he revealed that after the death of his wife he was a single father trying to raise two boys on $42,000 per year.
He then of course bashed Trump for not understanding that experience.

And number 3. Is Durham going to run into statutes of limitations issues?

And I hope I have answers:

    1. It’s an appeal from a writ order, so I think you’ll see something in 10 days, if not sooner.

    2. If they uphold the initial order (and at this point, I don’t know if they will – it’s still a majority liberal circuit and the Obama justices seem to do what they think the Messiah wants them to do). The loser can of course appeal to the Supreme Court, but it would have to be a certiorari writ and heard in the regular term. They can also submit an emergency request to the Circuit Justice for DC – which would be John Roberts, to request relief. However, this is usually reserved for death penalty cases.

    3. As for Durham, most criminal statutes of limitations are around 7 years, so he’s probably still within them. It would be easier to remark on if we knew precisely under WHAT statutes he was planning to indict.

Yep – we’re calling it a “BUYcott.” They have plants here in California, and are stocked in WalMart, so I’ll go take a look there.

The Left has NEVER been able to organize boycotts that are effective. One of the best ones was Rush. They were able to get some pretty big sponsors to cancel their ads on his show, including Sleep Train and Sleep Number, both of which made a BIG show of leaving Rush. One problem….Rush’s listeners were more than happy to take their business elsewhere, and these companies found themselves with empty stores. Because the LEFT isn’t going to reward you for bowing down to them – they aren’t going to change their buying habits and make up for the clientele. My understanding is that after six months, both Sleep Train and Sleep Number inquired about sponsoring Rush again. He said NO.

Oh and then there was that “boycott Chick-fil-A; they support traditional marriage. Remind me againg – HOW MANY of their stores ran out of food that day that Hannity called for everyone to visit their local Chick-fil-A?

Yeah, you guys go ahead and call for your boycott.

Supposed COVID victim promoted by NBC didn’t even have the virus

Of the news organizations that have gone all-in promoting coronavirus pandemic panic, few have been more active and eager than NBC News.

Consider, for example, NBC contributor Dr. Joseph Fair.

Fair revealed this week that a recent antibody test shows he has not contracted the coronavirus. That is a hell of a thing to hear from the same network contributor who was passed around from one NBC program to another two months ago to describe in excruciating detail his battle with the virus and his subsequent journey to recovery.

In fact, in May, Fair appeared on the network “nearly a dozen times to detail his struggle with COVID-19,” according to a tally kept by the Washington Free Beacon’s David Rutz.

The details of Fair’s appearances, many of which have been cataloged by Rutz, reveal just how little effort people at NBC put into verifying the doctor’s claims about having the virus.

On May 14, for example, Fair joined Today from his hospital bed in New Orleans to theorize for the show’s massive audience that he had caught COVID-19 through his eyeballs. Fair made sure to mention that he took a packed flight and that he wore a mask and gloves. Hilariously enough, Today co-host Hoda Kotb noted specifically that Fair had tested at least four times for the virus and that each test had come back negative. But did this stop anyone from presenting the medical expert as a genuine coronavirus victim? Nope!

“Clearly you have it,” said Kotb after noting the four negative tests.

THAT’S the ‘everything but a comma memo’ I was referring to. Am I missing something here? I thought we all knew that the FBI agents who interviewed Flynn didn’t think he was lying, so what’s a big deal with this? Is it that the DOJ nixed the Logan Act angle? I remember when that little attention whore David CameraHogg took to Twitter and told everyone to sell their Fedex holdings because they supported the 2nd Amendment. I think their stock went up 26 points. Fedex literally THANKED the Hogg for his endorsement.

FedEx is just about the only company that ships firearms in the US. They literally handle almost every gun sold at one point or another.

    What Constitution?

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Trump commuting Roger Stone’s sentence: “I’m recommending that we pass a law that presidents cannot issue a pardon if the crime that the person is in jail for is one that is caused by protecting the President, which this was”

    @ coldwarrior:

Truer words were never spoken. Its worth even a major career change to get away from those shit holes, even if it means giving up the theaters, museums and the like too. There is nothing like ‘small town America’.
    My 2 cents.

It’s my bedtime, but the last info post of the day is

Earlier today Sidney Powell filed a new supplemental brief (#2) [pdf here] in support of the unopposed motion to dismiss. The supplement covers the defense position on the newly released information from USAO Jeff Jensen which includes: notes taken by Tash Guahar at a January 25, 2017 briefing; the FBI work product that was an outcome of that briefing; and later notes by acting DAG Dana Boente.

been a busy day for a summer Friday.

He has a very similar column in PJMedia.

I’d reformatted VDH’s last para in that to clarify some of the stark ironies driving the destructive behaviours of the spoiled brats masquerading as useful citizens:

    The woke but godless,
    the arrogant but ignorant,
    the violent but physically unimpressive,
    the degreed but poorly educated,
    the broke but acquisitive,
    the ambitious but stalled
    — these are history’s ingredients of riot and revolution.

This is not to excuse them, just to clarify that they are a supremely easily led mob who individually could not foot it in a big city such as Manilla, Cape Town, Mexico City, Bangkok, New Delhi, Budapest – where people actually get out of bed in the morning and work, or look for work. Or in a rural village in the countryside around those cities.

    https://pjmedia.com/columns/victor-davis-hanson/2020/07/09/antifa-in-tears-the-fragility-of-the-woke-n622310

This has been called a form of “bioleninism” – “a coalition of the weird, inadequate, foreign and not-quite-fit-for-civilized-society as a unified voting bloc supporting those in power in a liberal democracy.”

Or in another formulation, a strategy whereby the top deploys the bottom (the dregs of society) as a weapon against the middle.

    https://www.dailysignal.com/2020/07/09/woke-fragility-protesters/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=woke-fragility-protesters?utm_source=TDS_Email&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=MorningBell&mkt_tok=eyJpIjoiTURRM1ltWTFOelk1TmpneSIsInQiOiJqUWdGcTNJc2cyXC8wd091YlJ2bUFaSWhPaHpuUndRV01RVWdVaFVaM1MxQklhcVZUcHNOTklwSFpoOUJYQjFtbkJTdGVyaHdWNEdNR0p3SVQyaHk1UE9IYWdmanNNcnAxb09YYU4zZjR5YnNaeG1OSjFlUzJHUlFrWm42SlR1QlIifQ==

Why do people fear these jokes?
They couldn’t organise a demonstration that starts before 11:30AM,
Still in bed at mummy and daddy’s cellar.

    🙂

Unbelievable. This is Andrew Weissmann, the man who defines prosecutorial corruption.

Time to put Roger Stone in the grand jury to find out what he knows about Trump but would not tell. Commutation can’t stop that.
