American cyclist suspended from team over so-called ‘divisive’ tweet supporting Trump

Simmons, 19, reacted to a tweet from Dutch journalist Jose Been in which she said she hoped for her American friends that “this horrible presidency ends for you,” adding “if you follow me and support Trump, you can go.”

Simmons replied to Been, saying “Bye” with a dark-skinned hand emoji waving. Her tweet was later deleted.

New England Journal of Medicine gets the ball rolling on mandatory vaccination

One option for increasing vaccine uptake is to require it. Mandatory vaccination has proven effective in ensuring high childhood immunization rates in many high-income countries. However, except for influenza vaccination of health care workers, mandates have not been widely used for adults.

Although a vaccine remains months to years away, developing a policy strategy to ensure uptake takes time. We offer a framework that states can apply now to help ensure uptake of the vaccine when it becomes available — including consideration of when a mandate might become appropriate.

Sydney Powell legal documents are the only ones I enjoy reading.

    United States v. McCord, 509 F.2d 334, 350 (D.C. Cir. 1974). This Circuit continued:

This is so because the principle is not one of fairness to the defendant alone but rather, in Justice Brandeis’ words, is one designed to ‘maintain respect for law; to promote confidence in the administration of justice; . . . to preserve the judicial process from contamination. . . .Our government is the potent, the omnipresent teacher. For good or for ill, it teaches the whole people by its example. Crime is contagious. If the government becomes a lawbreaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself; it invites anarchy. To declare that in the administration of the criminal law the end justifies the means- -to declare that the government may commit crimes in order to secure the conviction of a private
    criminal- -would bring terrible retribution.’

IMO. Obama personally contacted this judge and told him to stick it to Flynn. Part of the Obama legacy and personality cult. And I think Obama does this because the birther stuff from Trump needled him. I’ve always viewed Obama as thin skinned and shallow. Its only a personal motivation from Obama that generated this whole mess.

It’s egregious that the intelligence agencies have such poor process in this day and age that they let this occur. But again this goes back to Obama installed the heads of snakes into his agency leads. Undermined from the top.

It looks like it is legal for some to lie to the FBI And Congress if they have enough power and money. Martha Stewart and everyone else would go to jail. And this days the woke left yells racist and liar at everyone. We are all at risk for Bidens jail if we gain the wrong type of attention.

After this is over, this judge needs to be hauled in front of Committee on the Conduct of the Judiciary and made to explain himself. And frankly, if there’s a GOP House and Senate – he should be impeached and removed from the bench.

And yes, I completely agree that Obama is playing puppetmaster here. He doesn’t want Flynn talking and he wants him to have the stigma of “pardoned felon” rather than vindicated victim of political prosecution.

And most excellent news from L. Lin Wood today. The District Court in Kentucky DENIED the motions to dismiss of the New York Times, Rolling Stone, ABC and CBS in the Sandmann defamation lawsuits (NBC’s dismissal is on a different hearing schedule). This means that the litigation can go forward and discovery can commence.

    There is hope

“You cannot get closer to total disobedience of any kind of law,” he said, referring to the local response to Covid-19 strictures. “What’s happening up here is full-on anarchy.” Then he listed for me a few of the things that had happened recently: The county sheriff had announced that he wouldn’t enforce the state’s pandemic restrictions on social gatherings and businesses. People who had never before attended county board meetings were accusing local officials of treason. The county’s health officer, who had the unhappy job of imposing the state’s Covid rules on the citizens of Shasta County, was now receiving so many threats that Pontes had brought in a new threat-assessment team; he’d also ordered the bushes cut back away from her house, installed a security system and floodlights, and ordered police patrols of her neighborhood. “She still doesn’t feel safe out there,” he said. “At all.”

In just the past few months, a bunch of county health officers across California have been run from office [I’d like to know more about that]. But what was happening in Shasta County felt to Pontes like a new stage of the crisis in governance. He thought it was “80-20” in favor that, at any moment, a citizen army would form, invade the public buildings, and perform citizens’ arrests of the five members of the county’s Board of Supervisors and any other government officials they could get their hands on. “Before Covid I felt I could talk my way out of just about anything,” he said. “But I had to ask the sheriff, ‘What are you going to do if they arrest us?’ He reassured me that he’s not going to take me anywhere.”

It is good to hear that citizens know that these officials have overstepped their constitutional limits. i don’t feel sorry for the health officer who “had the unhappy jb=ob of imposing the state’s covid rules” … That health officer’s first duty is not to violate laws or constitutional rights. She full-on failed to do that and fell in step with the totalitarian unconstitutional (despite what Benedict Roberts says) rules. Now she feels threatened. That’s what the founders intended for totalitarians in our midst.

Late to the party (as usual) but just wanted to say isn’t it great to get such good news CW ? Best of luck beating the beast back once and for all !

And unfortunately, to Buckeye, my best wishes and prayers for a similar outcome for your mother.

My mom passed in June and here we are 3 months later and I still get those pangs of “Oh man, its Tuesday and I haven’t called … oh thats right’ or hearing something on TV that I know she would be interested in so I go for the phone…
I have several voice mail messages from her on my answering machine that I still can not bring myself to playback nor erase. She was an active aux member of her local VFW thats she was so proud of. My dad (WWII Vet) passed back in the early ’90s. The Greatest Generation’ (no offense to those Vets assembled here) are almost all gone. I can not imagine how things would look like today if they were all still here and in their prime !! The left have been waiting for this day to arrive because they could not pull it off as long as they (Vets) were still around and active.
There I go, digressin’ again … gettin’ old myself.

Anyhow, enjoy your good health CW !!

Late one night a mugger wearing a ski mask jumped into the path of a well-dressed man and stuck a gun in his ribs.
“Give me your money,” he demanded.
Indignant, the affluent man replied, “You can’t do this – I’m a US Congressman!”
“In that case,” replied the robber, “Give me MY money!”

I had a boundary for Obama.

If he was sick I would pray for him.
I would leave his kids out of the politics until they decided.
I disagreed with everything about him but wished him a safe and non violent 4 years in office.

Repeated that twice. I think he was a president for his time but was also too reliant on polarizing the electorate top down.

Remember how crazed the left was during the outbreak of AIDS because people were blaming the AIDS patients for causing their own illness by their own actions?

“Its a disease, its not their fault …”.

Now its ok to say its Trumps own fault though for coming down with Covid. How do they know it was due to not always wearing a mask ? First of all, are there not a lot of false positives ? Yet even still he could have got it from hand to mouth/eye/nose contact. We’ve heard that we needed to wear masks and then ‘They don’t work’. Sure as shit though had this been Obama and ‘her’, NO doubt about it the sympathy would have poured in 24/7 “They did EVERYTHING in their power but STILL …”

Anybody here old enough to remember the ‘Radio Free Europe’ TV commercials from the early ’60s ? I won’t tell anyone, promise ! Anyway, I just had a thought while posting the above about hobbies: It used to be said that they were ‘a way to pass the time’.
BUT, should we be ‘escaping’, ‘passing the time’ now ? I keep hearing that ‘Its coming’ (it = civil war) so now I’m thinking that maybe its not the time to escape into a hobby but a time to be alert and prepared. Maybe I should be building tree stands, fox holes, burying supplies ? Maybe making THAT my hobby ? For the first time today I seriously thought about buying a few months worth of the ‘Patriots Supply’. Its not too far out an idea for me really as where I live having a months worth of food on hand in case of a protracted power outage ain’t such a bad idea. I just don’t want to be a crazed, isolated prepper who thinks my door may be kicked in at any moment (hence the old RFE commercial comment above) and then I wind up feeling a little silly for considering it at all. You can’t trust the news anymore so theres not a lot to go on. Images of the opening scene of ‘The outlaw Josey Wails’ flashing through my head though. No communication and Ol’ Blitzkrieg Rommel comes drivin’ through your door ! “Hey Sticks, that Lionel diesel sounds pretty damn realis … OH SHIT”.

Pharmacies, medical supply businesses – you name it, would have had their doors , windows and roofs smashed open, all looted, right out of a 50s sci/fi flick. They are so full of shit.

I remember my wife watching the coverage of that horrific car wreck Princess Dianna was killed in. She waited on updates while I kept telling her ‘Listen, forget it, shes gone … she was killed instantly’. All I got was ‘the look’ and ‘you’re SO DAMN NEGATIVE !!”. Really, did you see that car?

    Self-Testing for Covid 19

Pour a measure of whisky, gin or rum into a glass, then see if you can smell it. If you can, then drink it and if you can taste it, it’s reasonable to assume you are currently free of the virus.

    test early
    test often

    Works with tequila too.

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers.

Cold, I will be in touch on the back channel. I plan to stick around pass the election and perhaps longer pending family circumstances.

    Take care and G-d bless.

    @ lobo91:

Although not a member, I’ve followed the so called ‘Proud Boys’ since its inception. It started on Anthony Cumias podcast when comedian Gavin McInnes said he wanted to start a group with the purpose of getting a virgin male friend of theirs laid for the first time. Thats it. Thats the story.
Well, other than the moron left just assuming they were some far right wing hate group, white supremacists all. Its insane. The crazed lefties started attacking these guys when they left the bar they were drinking at.
Wouldn’t you think that, in a normal world, one of these asshats would take a good look in the mirror some afternoon (you know they sleep ’til noon) and say to themself “What am I DOING ? I have to STOP THIS !! Only in a normal world.
