    @ AZfederalist:

    yep.

I caught an interview Dr Jill gave the other day. She said if she hadn’t got divorced she never would have met Joe.

Her first husband threw her ass out of the house because she was running around with Biden. And everybody knows it. He gave an interview about a month before the election.

Joe’s first wife ran a stop sign/red light with her kids in the car driving a route she knew very well and got nailed by a truck. Joe always blamed it on the truck driver and nobody ever bothered to look up the police report.

I now wonder if she tried to kill herself and the kids. The entire family has a creep factor that is off the charts.

You guys do know that that chap is Jonathan Pie, a comedian, don’t you? His shtick is eviscerating news anchors and politicians by saying on air what most of the sanctimonious liars only say when they think the camera is switched off. This is British political humour of the blackest most cynical kind.

A group of nearly 2,000 Israeli generals, military officials, and Mossad operatives warned the Biden administration on Monday against rejoining the Iran nuclear deal, saying the effort “represents an existential threat to the Jewish State” and will “ignite a massive nuclear arms race” across Middle East.

Yeah, what the Israelis are missing is that being an existential threat to Israel is not a bug, it’s a feature

Fits the grand unified theory of liberalism as I posted yesterday. Liberals don’t get it wrong most of the time, they get it wrong all of the time. They will always choose evil over good, wrong over right, totalitarianism over freedom. I’m beginning to think this is more than just political efforts toward totalitarianism but is a manifestation of diabolical influence. There is one entity that is all evil, all the time, in the spiritual realm; it appears he is being given free rein over our governments and the people influencing them.

well, I prefer ‘it’, but yeah. There’s a Steve Bannon warroom podcast – I think it was yesterday – where they talked a bit about the Vatican co-operating with the CCP. Bannon has started to focus on global religious persecution.

Newt Gingrich’s wife, Calista, was Trump’s ambassador to the Vatican, I don’t know who will replace her.

    Who didn’t see this coming?

The European Commission has said it will present a legislative plan later this month for what it’s calling a “digital green pass” — aka a digital certificate — which it says will be aimed at facilitating cross-border travel in the age of coronavirus.

President Ursula von der Leyen said today that the planned digital tool will aim to provide proof that a person has been vaccinated — but not just that; the “digital green pass” will also display the results of tests, i.e. for those who have been unable to get a vaccine yet, along with information on “COVID-19 recovery”.

    @ coldwarrior:

Recent tradition has been for presidents to deliver a message to a joint session of Congress, but not an official State of the Union, in their inauguration year. The previous six presidents have done that, according to the report.

In 2017, President Donald Trump did not deliver a State of the Union, but instead an “Address Before a Joint Session of Congress.”

    —-

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said on Feb. 16 that Biden’s first appearance before a joint session “was never planned to be in February,” even though Biden said in January that it would be, according to Axios.

Pelosi said on Feb. 11 that a joint session wouldn’t likely be convened until after Congress passes a COVID-19 relief bill, potentially delaying Biden’s first address until March, Roll Call reported.

“We won’t be doing any of that until we pass our COVID bill. That’s the first order of business,” she said.

    …and why this post?

because i am a moron. thats why!

so, moron me, ive got two primary late fall to early spring shoes. a set of garmont dragons and my venerable, beloved, well worn, thrice resoled, 25 yo, danner mountain lights. my lights…heavy, goretexed, leather, alpine boots. and then i effed it up.

the garmont dragons took well to an elastic shoestring. hell, i wear them golfing. i walk. fast. brilliant shoe

so, i put the same lacing system from REI onto my danners, and then put them up for summer.

and then i put them on in the cold. WTF!!!!! pain. tops of my feet are hell1. my ancient danners hurt!

went back to high quality laces.

yeah, dummy, dont change the lacing.

i never played hockey…but i hear lacing is that important.

i was ready to throw out my beloved shoes.

Biden Allows “60 Minutes” to Release Military Imagery Secrets that Saved US Lives

The Biden administration gave CBS access to our military personnel and a critical command center. The 60 Minutes segment airing Sunday night released secret defense strategies that helped save the lives of our troops under President Trump in 2020. This secret is now in the wind making it nearly impossible to be useful again.

    Raspberry Pi again, sorry.

One thing the $35 board is REALLY good for is using it as a dedicated KODI device.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kodi_(software)

All you need is the board $35 a power supply ~$10 a 16MB SD card and a HDMI cable ~$10

Oh and a wireless mouse and keyboard. ( buy a cheap one )

That set up allows you to watch thousands of video feeds.

KODI is also available on PCs MAC and phones but using it on a dedicated RPi set up is the best thing to do.

Why use a RPi you may ask. Well you can customize KODI to your viewing preferences, it is on a tiny SD card. Every member of the household can just stick in their own SD card.

Also the official KODI distribution has only legal feeds available but you can also plug in unofficial streams.

From the wiki “”Kodi has attracted negative attention due to the availability of third-party plug-ins for the software that facilitate unauthorized access to copyrighted media content, as well as “fully loaded” digital media players that are pre-loaded with such add-ons; the XBMC Foundation has not endorsed any of these uses, and has taken steps to disassociate the Kodi project from these add-ons,””

Yep, I did it. Watched one of the star wars movies 4 hours after the cinema release.

Anyway if you have a Raspberry Pi try using it as a KODI device.

I recommend you read ” The World Turned Up-side Down” by Yang Jisheng.
You can download it for a couple of dollars on e-books.
He is the goto writer on all things Chinese Cultural Revolution.
Slo’Joe is just doing a lukewarm version of Mao’s Cultural Revolution. The Three factions are the same. Biden and his handlers / Mao …… the crazy revolutionaries ‘Gang of Four’ …. and the corrupt military industrial complex. China’s revolution lasted a decade and only really finished because Mao died. The Hard Left were purged and destroyed, the Maoists were kicked to the kerb and the Military Industrial complex rose to the top .

As they say the rest is history.
The same scenario is in play in the US but with one wrinkle. 75 million ‘backsliders and counter-revolutionaries who must be destroyed and / or re-educated by the Hard Left Gang of Four types, before they too are of history.

The Military Industrial Complex are playing the game again and are set to win again just as they did in Mao’s time. The only question is whether the ‘new Gang of Four’ will succeed in destroying the influence of those pesky 75 million ‘backsliders and counter-revolutionaries’.

“Skin in the game” – I believe this accurately summarises the current problems with the state(s) of government

Some eye opening quotes from the book of the same title by Taleb
*People who are bred, selected, and compensated to find complicated solutions do not have an incentive to implement simplified ones
*Bureaucracy is a construction by which a person is conveniently separated from the consequences of his or her actions
*The knowledge we get by tinkering, via trial and error, experience, and the workings of time, in other words, contact with the earth, is vastly superior to that obtained through reasoning, something self-serving institutions have been very busy hiding from us
*What we saw worldwide from 2014 to 2018, from India to the U.K. to the U.S., was a rebellion against the inner circle of no-skin-in-the-game policymaking “clerks” and journalists-insiders, that class of paternalistic semi-intellectual experts with some Ivy League, Oxford-Cambridge or similar label-driven education who are telling the rest of us 1) what to do, 2) what to eat, 3) how to speak, 4) how to think, and… 5) whom to vote for
*For social justice, focus on symmetry and risk sharing. You cannot make profits and transfer the risks to others, as bankers and large corporations do… Forcing skin in the game corrects this asymmetry better than thousands of laws and regulations

Wish I took some philosophy subjects at Uni.

It’s hilarious watching the various media outlets contort themselves in order to avoid mentioning the obvious fact that this was a vehicle packed full of illegals who had just crossed the border. The best part is when they mention that the authorities are in contact with the Mexican consulate. Because that’s standard procedure after all car accidents, you know…

    Current single person meal kit.

    Family Bundle $14.99
Includes 3 Whoppers, 3 Cheeseburgers, 3 Small Fries. No substitutions and not valid on specialty versions.

    Burger King.

You must eat all the fries when meal is delivered. Fries don’t taste right if put in fridge and microwaved next day.

However the burgers are OK microwaved on the second and third day.

Whopper in a 700W microwave is 40 seconds, turned over then 20 seconds. Cheeseburger just a straight 40 seconds.

Don’t get me started on o rings!

One can of French cut green beans one can of Campbells condensed mushroom soup. A large portion or two of fast food onion rings.

Place all ingredients in an oven proof dish. Stir well and bake at 350F for an hour.

Looking at the first video, it looks like something went wrong before the landing. I don’t think orange flames on the side of the vehicle are supposed to be there. The craft managed to land before the fire created a catastrophic failure

I spent a couple of years in East Anglica too, beautiful area. I was stationed at RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk county from 77-79. The SP barracks was next to the MMS (weapons) barracks, so anytime the TV signal detection truck hit the front gate, we were second in line to be notified, so we could turn off our unlicensed sets until they left again. IIRC the fee back then was around 35 pounds a year or about $70 for a Colour TV license and that would pay for a lot of pints of bitters.

I’m trying to think of ANY bill that’s worse. If it passes, there is going to be a lot of blowback

    Somehow, I missed this

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) locked one of its Twitter accounts Tuesday, halting all public safety alerts on illegal migrants in the U.S. with criminal backgrounds.

The account, created in 2013 and bolstered under the Trump administration, was used to post details about known “fugitives,” including their name, nationality, criminal history and the U.S. jurisdiction where they were released.

“It seems the Biden Admin locked [ICE Alerts] because if you were to report the location of one of these dangerous aliens to ICE, it would become too obvious that these assaulters, drug dealers, thieves, and drunk drivers are now allowed to go free under Biden’s policies,” former senior advisor to ICE, Jon Feere, wrote on Twitter Tuesday.

What you going to do? Place nasty nuclear missiles closer to the USSR.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PGM-17_Thor

The PGM-17A Thor was the first operational ballistic missile of the U.S. Air Force (USAF). Named after the Norse god of thunder, it was deployed in the United Kingdom between 1959 and September 1963 as an intermediate-range ballistic missile (IRBM) with thermonuclear warheads. Thor was 65 feet (20 m) in height and 8 feet (2.4 m) in diameter.

Thank you for making the UK the number one target of Soviet missiles.

Dark, rich and flavorful beer is best served cool not ice cold.

Light beer is served icy cold. It has no flavour but is refreshing.

When ever any one says to me about english beer and warm I say why is white wine chilled and red wine served at room temperature.

Then I see they have in front of them a glass of expensive Merlot, full of ice.
