    @ eaglesoars:

Between classes, but real quick – they’ve been forming a new religion without being aware of it for quite some time.

Today’s children are taught a dangerous fallacy that religion was formed primarily to explain scientific phenomena that wasn’t understood when the religion began.

The idea is that they are somehow “beyond” the need for religion, and therefore rather than adjust or replace a belief system, they simply tried to jettison it.

    The vacuum is being filled.

(Only have time for cursory glance at that piece)

After years of Chief Justice John Roberts seeing to it that major gun cases were punted on at the Supreme Court, today marks a major change on that front. SCOTUS has decided to grant cert to a case out of New York dealing with the carry of firearms outside the home. This will be a landmark case that will shape the future of rights surrounding gun ownership in America.

The CDC has released 14 pages of ‘guidance’ for kids at summer camp. It’s more than dystopian, it’s absolutely cruel. I’m past pitchforks, I’m up for stakes and torches.

Rabois has been vocal about his disdain for the current San Francisco business climate, calling it over-regulated and overtaxed. He said he considered a handful of cities, such as Phoenix and Denver, but Miami won him over with its weather and culture. Rabois said he now just needs to convince people to stay for a week, and they’ll commit to getting property in the area.

Today we announced that Epicurious is cutting out beef. It won’t appear in new Epi recipes, articles, newsletters, or on social. This isn’t a vendetta against cows or people who eat them. It’s a shift about sustainability; not anti-beef but pro-planet.

1998 open letter to Fauci from Aids activist

How many years ago did we tell you about aerosol pentamidine, Tony? This stuff saves lives. And we discovered it ourselves. We came to you, bearing this great news on a silver platter, begging you: can we get it officially tested; can we get it approved so insurance companies and Medicaid will pay for it (as well as other drugs we beg you to test) as a routine treatment, and our patients going broke paying for medicine can get it cheaper? You monster.

“Assume that you have AIDS, and that you’ve had pneumonia once,” Representative Nancy Pelosi said. “You know that aerosolized pentamidine was evaluated by NIH as highly promising… You know as of today that the delays in NIH trials… may not be solved this year… Would you wait for [an NIH] study?”

You replied: “I probably would go with what would be available to me, be it available in the street or what have you.”

We tell you what the good drugs are, you don’t test them, then YOU TELL US TO GET THEM ON THE STREETS. You continue to pass down word from On High that you don’t like this drug or that drug — when you haven’t even tested them. THERE ARE MORE AIDS VICTIMS DEAD BECAUSE YOU DIDN’T TEST DRUGS ON THEM THAN BECAUSE YOU DID.

It’s quite the rant and I didn’t even post a third of it

Once the Mueller investigation was over, Trump should have burned the FBI to the fucking ground

The FBI, without any court order, sifted through the National Security Agency’s massive troves of foreign communications for information on American “racially motivated violent extremists,” a newly declassified order from the secret surveillance court details.

Even though the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance (FISA) Court warned the FBI in 2018 that its warrant-free queries, known as backdoor searches, were constitutionally alarming, the bureau still conducted queries relevant to criminal investigations about, among other things “domestic terrorism involving racially motivated violent extremists.” The court’s Judge James E. Boasberg found what he referred to as “apparent widespread violations of the querying standard.”

New Judge In Maricopa County Audit Worked For Firm That Merged With Perkins Coie

Judge Daniel Martin, who is now presiding over the challenge to the Arizona Senate Republicans’ audit of the Maricopa County 2020 election results, is a Democrat appointee who worked for a firm that merged with Perkins Coie, the pro-Democrat powerhouse firm that is trying to shut down the Maricopa County audit.
Martin took over the case after the previous judge overseeing it, Republican Judge Christopher Coury, recused himself because a lawyer for the Cyber Ninjas auditing team previously working as an extern for Coury’s office. That lawyer was not listed as a representative for Cyber Ninjas until recently, prompting Coury’s recusal. A hearing will reportedly be convened in the case on Tuesday at 11 AM. A local NBC reporter said that the new judge Martin was initially appointed to a judgeship by former Democrat Arizona governor Janet Napolitano.

Judge Daniel Martin worked as an associate attorney for Brown & Bain from 1992 to 1996. In 2004, Brown & Bain merged with Perkins Coie, the massive pro-Democrat law firm.

RIGHT WING BACKLASH Twenty generals call for coup against Macron warning of ‘civil war’ and ‘disintegration of France at hands of Islamists

TWENTY retired generals have called for military rule if Emmanuel Macron fails to halt what they call the “disintegration” of France “at the hands of Islamists”.
    .
    .
It comes amid growing concern among in France at ISIS-linked terror attacks and what some see as a breakdown of the nation’s secular ideals.

The beheading of teacher Samuel Paty last year sparked mass protests in favour of free speech and a government crackdown on “separatists”.

But now 100 retired officers including the 20 generals have said more extreme action is needed in a letter published in right wing news magazine Valeurs Actuelles.
    .
    .
It was written by former officer Jean-Pierre Fabre-Bernadac and signed by 1,000 others in lower ranks.

A lot of people flipped out over the absurd proposal to limit the amount of meat in our diets. It was so over the top that I suspected an 8Chan prank. Maybe I’m late for brunch, but I found this.

    8 December 2020 Daily Mail
    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9032669/Cut-meat-dairy-FIFTH-save-planet-Report-tells-Brits-slash-car-trips-curb-flights.html
So it’s a story about a report written by deranged ecofux with recommendations for reducing carbon emissions to 78% of 1990 levels by 2035 and meet “the long term legally-binding goal to bring climate pollution down to zero overall or ‘net zero’ by 2050″… in the UK.

They also suggest penalizing frequent flyers and enforcing the 70mph speed limit.

The Climate Change Committee published the “report” in June 2020.
    https://www.theccc.org.uk/publication/reducing-uk-emissions-2020-progress-report-to-parliament/

Latest outrage is the death of Andrew Brown.

They are saying nobody should be killed just because law enforcement were trying to serve a warrant.

That may be true, but the screaming hordes are yelling ” Let him just drive away! You know where he lives! You have the plates of his vehicle! Arrest him some other time! ”

However, I am a realist. Anyone who drives away from his own home in his own car is effectively saying goodbye to his family and everything else he has.

A successful escape from law enforcement means a future with no family. No friends.

Andrew Brown made that choice to leave everything and everyone behind.

The fact he got shot dead does not negate what he did. He chose to disconnect himself from his ten children forever.

Feds seize electronics from DC-area home of Rudy Giuliani-linked attorney

Federal investigators on Wednesday morning seized electronic devices from lawyer Victoria Toensing, who is a close associate of former Mayor Rudy Giuliani, a source familiar with the events said.

The move came around the same time investigators executed a search warrant at Giuliani’s Manhattan apartment and office.

Agents came to Toensing’s Washington, D.C.,-area home, confiscated her phone and left without searching the house, the source said.
