    Good morning.

CNN is lying again. Auditors hired by the Arizona state Senate backtracked Tuesday from claims that a key database had been deleted from Maricopa County’s elections servers — admitting in a hearing held by the Senate Republicans overseeing the audit that the data is intact and they’d been looking the wrong way.

    https://www.cnn.com/2021/05/18/politics/arizona-republican-audit-database-not-deleted/index.html

Here is the testimony. They have recovered the data but not because they were looking the wrong way. And keep in mind the terminology used – ‘database’ and ‘data’ versus ‘directory’

DON [Dept Navy] announces Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Planning Actions

The effort asks the Chief Diversity Officer of the Navy, Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Manpower and Reserve Affairs) (ASN (M&RA)), Catherine Kessmeier, to lead a Strategic Planning Team and develop an action plan to promote DEI in Department-wide policies, programs and operations. Harker’s memo formalizes guidance and establishes a framework to develop a strategic plan, identify actionable measures to integrate ongoing DEI efforts and recommend new initiatives.

The reported number of COVID-19 hospitalizations, one of the primary metrics for tracking the severity of the coronavirus pandemic, was grossly inflated for children in California hospitals, two research papers published Wednesday concluded. The papers, both published in the journal Hospital Pediatrics, found that pediatric hospitalizations for COVID-19 were overcounted by at least 40 percent, carrying potential implications for nationwide figures.

ust three weeks after adding Ivermectin, Delhi now leads India out of the deadly second surge of the COVID pandemic. Cases that had peaked at 28,395 on April 20 plummeted nearly 80% to just 6,430 on May 15. Deaths peaked May 4, and now they are also down 25%.

On May 10, the Indian State of Goa adopted an even more ambitious policy of preemptive Ivermectin for all adults in the state. The Chief Minister of Goa is Dr. Pramod Sawant, a progressive 49-year-old physician persuaded by science. In particular, he read Dr. Pierre Kory’s Dr. Tess Lawrie’s and Dr. Andrew Hill’s robust meta-analyses. As a direct result, Goa has seen a drop in cases from 3,124 the day after the announcement to 1,314 five days later.

Meanwhile, three other Indian states have followed Goa’s lead in adding Ivermectin: Uttarkhand, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh. And, as expected, they have seen a drop in new daily cases as well, with Uttar Pradesh down nearly 75% from a peak of 37,944 just four days after they began following the April 20 AIIMS guidance to just 10,505 on May 16.

The tragic story in all this is that the Indian state of Tamil Nadu installed a new leader on May 7, 2021. He suddenly reversed their state’s decision to adopt Ivermectin. Readers of my book all know about Peruvian President Sagasti’s fateful decision to outlaw Ivermectin. Before taking power, the COVID deaths had dropped 14 fold to almost nothing with Ivermectin use. However after Sagasti was elected, Ivermectin was stopped, and deaths roared back at 13 fold.

    @ eaglesoars:
The auditor explained it well. IMO they should be auditing the administrator who installed the EMS app. This missing database thing appears to be all BS then. Something the auditor noted and then the politicians jumped on for publicity. They shouldn’t be doing that until the audit is over. Its how politicians wreck things especially shallow politicians.

I’ve installed tons of production databases and raid systems. I would also change the default data and app and log directory names. Unless the vendor software had hardcoded any of their physical locations. It was a cheap honey pot designed to misdirect anyone who got into the file system for a bad purpose. I’d place fake data in the directories and activate notifications.

In the old days that was an easy way to hack a system. Now it’s not so easy. But sloppy vendors more than made up for it in creating vulnerabilities they were too lazy or too cheap to code for. The face that Dominion needs to be the admin password holder here suggests the system is a house of cards.

    FWIW

Bombshell: Nobel Prize Winner Reveals – Covid Vaccine is ‘Creating Variants’

Prof. Montagnier referred to the vaccine program for the coronavirus as an “unacceptable mistake”. Mass vaccinations are a “scientific error as well as a medical error,” he said. “It is an unacceptable mistake. The history books will show that, because it is the vaccination that is creating the variants,” Prof. Luc Montagnier continued.

The prominent virologist explained that “there are antibodies, created by the vaccine,” forcing the virus to “find another solution” or die. This is where the variants are created. It is the variants that “are a production and result from the vaccination.”

Prof. Montagnier said that epidemiologists know but are “silent” about the phenomenon, known as “Antibody-Dependent Enhancement” (ADE). In the articles that mention ADE, the concerns expressed by Prof. Montagnier are dismissed. “Scientists say that ADE is pretty much a non-issue with COVID-19 vaccines,” an article at Medpage Today reported in March.

Prof. Montagnier explained that the trend is happening in “each country” where “the curve of vaccination is followed by the curve of deaths.”

The Nobel Laureate’s point is emphasized by information revealed in an open letter from a long list of medical doctors to the European Medicines Agency. The letter stated in part that “there have been numerous media reports from around the world of care homes being struck by COVID-19 within days of vaccination of residents.”

At the school board meeting I went to on zoom last week their was a problem in that teachers in the district didn’t want to teach combined class of remote and in class students. They said they could be effective.

Also an observation by the principal that course progress across all students has been weak. Most testing is waived. Except the federal regulators are failing to adjust to the reality of the students learning from home. The feds still want strict testing.

5 Rural Oregon Counties Vote To Consider Joining Idaho To Escape Blue-State Rule

A cluster of five counties in rural Oregon voted Tuesday to consider seceding from the state and joining Republican-controlled Idaho.

Voters in Malheur, Sherman, Grant, Baker, and Lake Counties approved measures demanding county officials move forward with constituent demand to move the state’s borders in an attempt to escape blue-state rule. Last year, Jefferson and Union Counties approved similar measures.

35 Republican rebels defy Kevin McCarthy and GOP leadership to vote with all Democrats in FAVOR of forming a 9/11-style investigation into the Capitol riot

Thirty-five House Republicans defied party leadership and Donald Trump to vote in favor of setting up a 9/11-style commission to investigate the Capitol riot on Wednesday night.

The group of rebels including Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger and the eight other GOP members who voted to impeach Trump sided with all Democrats – despite calls from Kevin McCarthy to block probe because it is political and ignores other violence such as Black Lives Matter and Antifa.

Nancy Pelosi banged the gavel and announced the vote had passed 252-175 and will now go to the Senate, where its passage appears doomed after Minority Leader Mitch McConnell made a dramatic u-turn and said he would oppose the legislation.

In January, McConnell said that Trump’s ‘lies’ prompted the ‘mob’ to storm the Capitol on January 6.

In the run-up to the vote, a handful of Republicans came to the floor and pleaded with their colleagues to vote for the bill.

Capitol Police Officers and the family of Howard Liebengood, the cop who killed himself three days after the riot, also called on the GOP to approve the legislation.

‘I beg you to pass this bill,’ said Rep. John Katko, the New York Republican who negotiated with Democrats to get the bill finished. ‘My friends on both sides of the aisle. I welcome honest, vigorous and civil debate. At the end of the day I strongly believe this is a fair and necessary legislation.’

    This isn’t over.

Oregon has lifted its mask mandate for people who have been fully vaccinated against the coronavirus, but is requiring businesses, workplaces and houses of worship to verify the vaccination status of individuals before they enter buildings without a mask.

This statewide mandate, one of the first of its kind in the country, raised concerns that the procedure of verifying vaccinations could be too cumbersome for workers.

[…] The Oregon Health Authority said in new guidance on Tuesday that effective immediately, businesses would be required to continue to enforce mask requirements unless they had established a policy to confirm proof of vaccination using a card or photo of one before individuals can enter the building without a mask.

Banks’ Climate Pledges Would Downgrade Non-Woke Businesses to 2nd-Tier Economy, Experts Say

The companies are promising they will give preferential treatment to clients that run their operations in a “sustainable” manner. That means clients will have to implement policies that, in the banks’ view, reduce carbon emissions or promote a number of other goals, such as “gender equality” and “racial equity.” Clients that don’t support carbon reductions should face penalties such as “exclusion” and “divestment,” according to the guidelines of the United Nations-backed Net-Zero Banking Alliance, which counts dozens of major banks among its members.

    .
    .
“This financial stranglehold over industries will consolidate the economic status of favored producers and strengthen their monopolization over production and distribution,” Rectenwald said. “The measures will also trickle down to the consumption of end-users, whose carbon emissions will be reduced by default. They won’t have any say about driving gasoline-powered vehicles, because such vehicles will not be produced and gasoline will no longer be available.

“The objective is to curtail the mobility and consumption of the vast majority and reduce them to captives of the Great Reset agenda.”

While the financiers may not be able to completely eliminate non-compliant businesses, “the planners are creating a two-tiered system, with preferred producers/distributors on top and the non-woke producers/distributors beneath them,” he said.

“This is a static hierarchy and will lead to stagnation and likely the need for the state to intervene even more than it is doing already,” he said. “Interestingly, it is the socialists who, in their disdain for competition, aid and abet the formation of monopolies and a static economic hierarchy. The elimination of a thriving middle class is always the road to serfdom.”

According to Un and the Tigard-Tualatin School District, the answer lies with a new form of “white identity development.” In a series of “antiracist resources” provided to teachers, the Department of Equity and Inclusion includes a handful of strategies for this identity transformation, intended to “facilitate growth for white folks to become allies, and eventually accomplices,

Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs told officials in Maricopa County that she would consider decertifying election equipment subpoenaed as part of the Senate-commissioned 2020 election audit if the county moves to reuse the equipment in future elections.

Hobbs, a Democrat, wrote in a Thursday letter to members of the county’s Board of Supervisors that she has “grave concerns” over the integrity of voting systems that Cyber Ninjas, a Florida-based firm which has been conducting the audit on behalf of the Republican-led Arizona Senate, has been examining.

“If the County intends to re-deploy the subpoenaed equipment, over which the County lost custody and control, for use in future Arizona elections, please notify my Office as soon as possible … so that we may properly consider decertification proceedings pursuant to A.R.S. § 16-442 as to the subpoenaed equipment,” Hobbs wrote.

Pennsylvania county faults ‘coding error’ after voting machines didn’t show Republican ballots

A Pennsylvania county faulted a “coding error” this week after Republican and nonpartisan voters were dismayed to see only Democratic ballots available as they tried to participate in a slew of local elections.

Luzerne County voters were issued a ballot that only indicated it was for the Democratic primary, regardless of their indicated party affiliation. Many Tuesday voters left their polling places agitated, though Director of Elections Bob Morgan said the error was not the fault of the local government, but rather the blame lied with Dominion Voting Systems, a company marred by dubious election fraud claims in the wake of the 2020 presidential election.

“We gave a final product to Dominion,” Morgan told PA Homepage. “There is no evidence of any of this problem on the mail-in ballots, which were produced from that file. We’re still working with Dominion to get an explanation as to how this coding error occurred. They were as surprised about it as we were.”

no, that was the one when they supposedly went on a cruise but lied to their wives about it. The ship they were supposed to be on sank and their wives were beside themselves. Laurel & Hardy, just arriving at home while the wives were at the ship company’s office, read the newspaper report and did the best double take in movie history. IIRC, they actually hid in the attic. But the wives figured it out. His screen wife was hunting him with a shotgun. Harding’s wife was breaking all the china.

There are alarming reports in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) of healthy children dying shortly after being vaccinated, the doctors say. Also, multiple studies are showing higher rates of adverse effects in people who have recovered from the virus, and the vaccine is not proven to be safe for pregnant women, especially those in their first trimester, according to the doctors.

Dr. Peter McCullough, an American Professor of Epidemiology at Yale University, and Dr. Harvey Risch, professor at the Yale School of Public Health appeared on Fox News’ “Ingraham Angle” Thursday night to voice their concerns regarding these issues.

McCullough told host Laura Ingraham that randomized vaccine trials excluded individuals with COVID-19 antibodies, so we don’t know if the vaccine is safe for those people. McCullough also pointed out that there have been no studies demonstrating the clinical benefit of vaccinating these people.

“Now two studies out of the United Kingdom and one out of New York City show higher rates of vaccine-averse events when COVID-19 recovered patients are needlessly vaccinated,” the doctor said. Because of this, McCullough told Ingraham, it is “contraindicated” for these patients to receive the vaccine. “No evidence of benefit, and only evidence of harm,” he explained.

A newly released study out of Harvard found that the vaccine’s spike proteins may enter the bloodstream of an individual after their T-cells—the white blood cells that fight off infections in healthy immune systems—destroy the cells that contain them.

That’s a case of pre mature government. Crypto is just the wild west of the information age. The risk to a personal investor is not much different than the risk of penny stocks. There is a risk to the US Dollar if they don’t account for crypto.

Bitcoin is a gold alternative. Ethereum is smart contracts. Bitcoin is probably replaced by some better alternative in the future. Smart Contracts will be coming to every part of your life.

If you buy a purse from Nordstroms the smart contract will be able to give you a video interactive slideshow of every person that added value to the purse. Its a horse and buggy to car transition for the world economy.

Smart contracts already work in the third world to where Western Union money transfers can be replaced by crypto with transaction costs in pennies instead of dollars.

https://cryptoslate.com/ethiopian-government-to-use-cardano-blockchain-to-benefit-5-million-students/ A quick read on a real world application of crypto.

Someone in China will invent a crypto enabled phone. The app stores will get de centralized. Unfortunately someone will create a smart contract crypto that will be applied to all guns and bullets. It could get out of hand if people avoid it.

If you’ve heard of some top Chinese academic bragging about how China has put the U.S. in it’s place via biowarfare – his name is Chen Ping and here is a translation of his remarks

(Jennifer’s note: Chen Ping, a top Chinese academic, made a startling admission that China has won a “biological war” in 2020, and will lead the new wave of human modernization after “the biology revolution”, and after all previous physical and chemical modernizations ended. 2020 is the turning point of 500 years.

    .
    .
I think the history that China has witnessed this year is indeed a history that has not been seen in a hundred years. This year, China won the first battle of the people’s biological warfare, which actually marks a change that has not been seen in 500 years of human history, that is, the four globalizations led by the maritime powers, all ended with the decline of maritime hegemony.

China’s messing around in Antarctica according to an article I read in USNI’s Proceedings. I’ll post an online link if I can find it.
Antarctica is a government-free zone by international law, in that it may not be used for anything except for environmental/scientific study, and no strategic/military uses.
In recent years, China has been exploring the continent and it’s surrounds, even circumnavigated it in uncharted waters. No mean feat, that.

They have also built outposts under the guise of environmental studies, yet they haven’t produced much if anything. What the have done is set up astronomical facilities – in perhaps the most inhospitable spot on the planet.

They are tracking and intercepting communications from satellites that cross the south pole daily.

You forgot to add that the CCP has stationed a multiple Kilowatt LASER system in Antarctica that is capable of interfering with transmitting satellites sensors, but blew off any objections made in regard to their stationing weapons in Antarctica, by saying that the laser is for upper atmospheric studies.

    Bullshit!

The class of Laser is for blinding recon satellites and screwing with communications satellites’ circuitry.

The cheeky bastards even had a go at NZ Foreign Affairs and Trade last year, by offering to widen and lengthen the runway at Invercargill at the bottom of the South Island as well as refurbishing the wharf opposite the Alcoa aluminium smelter to take the Chinese Ice breakers. The runway was to support Chinese air resupply onto the ice as the CCP are currently forming an ice runway at one of their multiple bases on the ice and they need a refuelling and service base to support their Antarctic plans. Needless to say they were away without an agreement. Even NZ isn’t that far in the pocket of the CCP …. yet !

The American Medical Association (AMA) released a lengthy “anti-racist” plan last week detailing the organization’s ambitious new initiatives to “embed racial justice” in the medical profession.

The AMA, the nation’s largest professional association of physicians, published its “Organizational Strategic Plan to Embed Racial Justice and Advance Health Equity” last week. The 86-page document outlines a three-year plan to implement “anti-racist” initiatives, including pushing “critical race theory” specifically in the medical community.
    .
    .
The plan also includes elements that appear to have little to do with medicine or the medical community, including a declaration dubbed the “Land and Labor Acknowledgement.”

“We acknowledge that we are all living off the taken ancestral lands of Indigenous peoples for thousands of years,” the AMA’s declaration reads.

“We acknowledge the extraction of brilliance, energy and life for labor forced upon people of African descent for more than 400 years. We celebrate the resilience and strength that all Indigenous people and descendants of Africa have shown in this country and worldwide. We carry our ancestors in us, and we are continually called to be better as we lead this work.”

The equity plan slams the “myth of meritocracy,” saying the differences in outcomes among historically marginalized populations and minorities have been “explained away” as the results of a meritocracy.
    .
    .
University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine professor Norman Wang published a white paper in the Journal of the American Heart Association (JAHA) arguing that affirmative action has not actually helped black and Hispanic students. Wang was removed as director of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) fellowship program in clinical cardiac electrophysiology, and JAHA retracted the article.

Two virus researchers in China are recommending security measures after seven Russian farm workers became infected with a crossover flu virus last year. In their Perspectives piece published in the journal Science, Weifeng Shi and George Gao, both of whom are affiliated with multiple institutions in China, suggest that the makeup and history of the H5N8 strain of avian influenza virus threaten the possibility of another pandemic.

As Shi and Gao note, the new strain of influenza virus was first discovered in a duck in China back in 2010. By 2014, outbreaks had been seen in Japan and South Korea in both domestic and wild birds. And by 2016, it had been found in birds in India, Russia Mongolia, the U.S. and parts of Europe. By 2020, outbreaks had been seen in 46 countries. Shi and Gao note that this history indicates that the virus is able to spread very rapidly. Even more concerning was a report of crossover infections in seven Russian farm workers this past December. The authors note that the infected workers did not have any symptoms (they were tested for safety reasons) and there was no indication that the virus was transmissible from one person to the next. But they point out, that once a crossover has been made, it generally does not take a virus long to adapt to spread to other victims—they note how quickly the virus mutated to jump from duck to duck and then to other bird species. They also note that the virus has been found to be quite lethal, with massive die-offs in multiple outbreaks. The Russian workers were tested, for example, after 101,000 hens died.
