Also saw a blurb somewhere (TX?) that people with “smart thermostats” (i.e., those controlled by the electric company) found that their a/c settings automatically reset to 78 degrees during the heatwave.

Which is why I would not put one of those things in. I’m not giving anybody else remote control of my comfort settings.

The Lancet, that POS ‘scientific’ mag has done a major back down

    —————————————

Now, the Lancet, which is widely peer-reviewed, is making adjustments to the statement Daszak participated in so as to inform of his bias and influence. From the Lancet :

In February 2020, 27 public health experts co-authored a Correspondence in The Lancet (“Statement in support of the scientists, public health professionals, and medical professionals of China combatting COVID-19”), supporting health professionals and physicians in China during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic. In this letter, the authors declared no competing interests. Some readers have questioned the validity of this disclosure, particularly as it relates to one of the authors, Peter Daszak.

We will continue to follow this story, as the nation braces for the Covid-19 variant being widely discussed, particularly in light of the Olympics location in Beijing, China. One thing is very clear, Dr. Daszak and his relationship to the Wuhan Institute for Virology created a clear conflict of interest.

That picture with the surgical mask — one of these days, we are going to look back on 2020 and the wearing of surgical masks and wonder WTF were people thinking!?

Side note: I was polishing some copper tubes for wind chime tubes on the lathe last night and wound up with a horrible sinus irritation and headache. Decided that wouldn’t happen again when I finished up today. Did I grab a surgical mask/nuisance dust mask? Nope. Used my filtered paint mask. Because I know engineering and the fact that dust will leak around the edges of those masks, essentially making them useless. Even the paint respirator has challenges, one has to tighten it up to almost uncomfortable to make sure there is no leakage around the edges, People who think surgical masks do something to prevent viral infection spread are idiots.

When Cherysse Cleveland couldn’t get three flavors of slushie in one cup at a Ravenna, Ohio, McDonalds, she did what every sane adult would do and attacked the staff. Cleveland landed a few punches on two workers, then apologized, saying, “Sorry, I’ve been up all day” after which she promptly ripped the mask off an employee.

    It was 9AM.

Ravenna is not far from Kent State University in NE Ohio. There is/was a WWII armory there, chosen for it’s near constant cloud cover to protect it from enemy aircraft, at least that’s what I was told. There was a lot nearby that had stacks of wood munitions crates that you could buy for 25 cents each. We used them for furniture.

The main reason we’d go to Ravenna was to buy kegs of beer.

US Private Vaults, Inc. offered (past tense) one of the most state-of-the-art facilities in the modern world for rich people to store their paintings, jewelry and other belongings. It had 24-hour armed guards, lasers, dogs, retinal scanners, a moat filled with alligators, and so on. It was the sort of place that Tom Cruise is always breaking into in the movies.

The company also had about 800 safe deposit boxes. The FBI raided US Private Vaults back on March 22. The agents had a criminal warrant to seize the property of US Private Vaults. However, the warrant specifically exempted the safe deposit boxes of the company’s wealthy clients. But that didn’t stop Joe Biden’s FBI. They took all 800 safe deposit boxes anyway.

Got to sell 300 shares of PLTR for a loss of about $230 and with that $7600 get more ATOS stock. Hopefully at below $7

As an example My ATOS stock at 5am ET is down Pre-market 6.70 −0.32 (4.56%) cant buy or sell just watch. ( I think it is listed on the Frankfurt exchange and they are now open )

My PLTR stock aint really going anywhere, long term it may, but I need to sell to get gambling money!!!!

    5am ET Pre-market 25.30 −0.10 (0.39%)

I am gambeling with my kid’s inheritance LOL

    57 | June 23, 2021 5:56 am

For those non-apes. A translation as to the intricacies of the stock market defined by reddit.

Paper hands = people who buy then sell stocks as soon as the price rises by a few cents.

Diamond hands = people who buy stocks then hodl onto them forever so the nasty hedge funds cannot buy them.

HODL = is the miss spelling of hold just like teh was popular years ago.

Bag holder = people like me who bought stock in PLTR at $26.27 when I thought it was the dip. That was February It then went down all the way to $17 and I ended up holding the bag. ( back up to $25/30 and selling at a loss )

Tendies = chicken tenders or nuggets. That is what you can buy when you sell stock at a profit.

To the moon = is when people think a share price is going to rocket. 99% it is wishful thinking. Usually posted by bag holders, see above.

lambo = posted by the same people who wish their stock portfolio would one day make money so they can buy a Lamborghini. Not many do.

YOLO = You Only Live Once is posted by people who bet their life savings on buying stock. Some get lucky. Many don’t.

FOMO = Fear Of Missing Out. Stock traders who are late to buying a stock and do so just before that stock price takes a dump.

Me? I held a bag since Feb and had no option but to HODL, selling today at a slight loss but I am no diamond hands. Paper hands is the way to make money fast!

So in just over 3 hours when the NYSE opens it is going to be to he moon, in a lambo while eating tendies!

Go ATOS and save the titties!!!!!

    Gamestop kills a hedgefund

    https://clarion.causeaction.com/2021/06/22/hedge-fund-that-shorted-gamestop-shuts-down/

Wall Street Bets may have finally helped kill its first hedge fund today: White Square Capital, a London-based hedge fund that shorted GameStop, is shutting down according to the Financial Times.

At its peak, White Square had $440 million in assets under management, but suffered double digit percent losses on its positions shorting Gamestop. The Financial Times reported the fund insisted its closure was unrelated to the rally, and a person close to the fund told the paper that it had earned back “a fair share” of the losses. Thanks to a short squeeze orchestrated in part by Wall Street Bets and hordes of online retail investors, firms shorting Gamestop in anticipation of the stock’s fall suffered collective billions of dollars in losses as the price shot from $20 to nearly $500 early this year. Other big funds that suffered major losses on bets against GameStop include Melvin Capital, Light Street Capital, and short seller Citron.

It’s been almost a decade since Australia ‘saw off’ the corrupt US based organ UNESCO, but now China has weaponised UNESCO as a club to beat Australia over the head with . There was always some very dodgy left wing politics involved in the ecology of the Great Barrier Reff off the Queensland coast. There were some serious ‘run off’ problems at a few river outfalls that contaminated the inner reef with sediment but that is old news and was addressed a decade ago. The GBR is currently in robust good health, especially the huge outer reef, and the Australia Government has been a good steward of reef health. The usual suspects occasionally grizzle about natural die offs in small areas of the reef such as periods when ‘Crown of Thorns Starfish’ numbers explode and kill off patches of the inner reef for a few years before the reef comes roaring back.

Now Xi and his UNESCO lap dogs are weaponising the corrupt UN agency as an attack dog to directly attack Australia over supposed GBR health as a ploy to attack Australia. That is pure bullshit as the UNESCO hasn’t even been near the GBR since 2012 when it was seen off for corrupt practices and preaching proven lies put about by the Greens Party. An expert GBR specialist professor was even attacked and fired by a bunch of Green Marxists because he published a fully peer reviewed paper on GBR health.

Now the UNESCO with Chinese money behind it are back attacking Australia’s management of the Great Barrier Reef as a political ploy to pressure Australia to comply with Chinese can’t over Human Rights violations in Western China.

    🙂

Ever since J Edgar Hoover set up the FBI as his personal attack dog, it has been a dodgy and highly politicised organisation. Renowned as a gatherer of blackmail material on real and imagined ‘enemies’ of the denizens of the FBI this alphabet agency needs burning its personal department to the ground and rebuilding from scratch. I used to believe that it was only the denizens of the top floor who were corrupt but I was wrong. The whole agency has corruption interlaced within its organisational structure and is beyond saving. It needs to be destroyed and then rebuilt from scratch.

    @ Bunk X:
When the ‘river run off’ problems were effecting the inner reef and that compounder the Crown of Thorns starfish attacks there was a moderate threat to the reef. That threat was ALWAYS limited to the close in Inner Reef. The reef that the tourists see. The run off problems were addressed a decade ago and marine science got a better understanding of the dynamics that underpin the inner reef health. It turns out that much of apparent health concerns present in the Inner Reef were part of a natural cycle of growth and destruction followed by regrowth. The Queensland expert who identified the definitive Reef ecology was destroyed by Leftise Greens for daring to tell the scientific truth about reef health. He identified isolated danger spots as well and instituted fixes for Inner Reef problems. Alas the Greens and Marxists inside the University of Queensland didn’t want scientific based solutions to reef management. They wanted blazing headlines about reef death as a weapon to support their radical Green agenda. The top expert on the GBR was forced out of the university in a very unjust tacky whispering attack. He sued and won and came roaring back. Now Xi and the CCP are using UNESCO as a UN based weapon to attack the Australian government by using historical information about inner reef problems as current attack items. UNESCO is a totally corrupt UN agency and has been since its capture by the Marxist left 20 years ago,

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman rattles Muslim clergy, challenges sources of sharia

When the de facto ruler of Saudi Arabia, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, challenged the fundamental precepts of Islamic Sharia in an interview on April 28, the tremors were so deep, they left most Muslims and their clerics in a state of silent shock.

MBS, as the crown prince is known, had questioned the very validity of ‘Hadith’ literature — sayings attributed to Prophet Muhammad — that provide much of what is today considered Islamic Law in places as far apart as Aceh in Indonesia to University campuses in California in the West.

As an example, the hijab suddenly lost its religious justification and much of the Islamic laws that created the Taliban lost their validation.

Many of us who had for decades fought the Saudization of Islam were taken aback by MBS’s statements. The man who is turning his country slightly away from funding overseas jihads and civil wars had quietly heralded women’s rights and in an unprecedented move included the Hindu texts of Mahabharat and Ramayana into the school syllabus.

Trump and for coverage of the internal politics of Fox News (not to mention stories about Mr. Carlson himself).”

Breaking a cardinal rule of journalistic ethics, Smith identifies Carlson as one of his own “off-the-record” sources. So, too, did “16 other journalists … [who] told me on background that he has been, as three of them put it, ‘a great source.'”

In a 33-page decision, the court said the seriousness of Giuliani’s “uncontroverted misconduct can not be overstated.”

Wasn’t aware said superiors were up to their eyebrows in said dirty dealings. Found himself indicted in federal court. Became federal felon on trumped up charges. Was informed that he would be killed if he went to the press. Was told he could fight it in court but “the government has a lot more money than you do”.

He’s not backing down, and outlines the problems he has with the Report and those who compiled it. Here’s the gist.

The Michigan Senate has refused to meet with our attorneys and team of forensic experts to review actual evidence of election fraud. Reportedly, Senator McBroom (who has been accused in the past of violating people’s constitutional rights) has gone so far as to instruct the Republican caucus to not review evidence for themselves. If they don’t review the evidence, they can continue to say they have seen no evidence. Nevertheless, we have so far released 19 reports on election fraud through multiple legal briefs filed with the 13th Circuit Court in Antrim County. We are not done. Additional reports will be released soon. The Michigan Senate failed to properly address any of the evidence submitted in the 19 reports available for everyone to review at http://www.depernolaw.com. You can also see a great deal of the evidence at LetsFixStuff.org. These reports expose the inherent vulnerabilities and weak or nonexistent security protocols of voting machines. But more importantly, these reports also expose how the voting system and election in Antrim County was actually and definitively subverted through fraud and intentional manipulation of the voting machines; and by extrapolation, the State of Michigan.

The building codes were a lot different, and in Florida they got very restrictive after Hurricane Andrew.

They would have designed the foundation per the recommendations of the geotechnical engineer, and in shitty sandy soils they would have gone with either piles or “bathtub” design. Piles can go down 60-100 feet to either bedrock or refusal (when friction prevents driving the piles further), so erosion isn’t a significant problem. With “bathtub” design other things can happen – with enough water pressure a building could float. I’m really puzzled about the hole they found…

Slang for a basement with a thick mat slab with thick retaining walls to resist hydrostatic pressure when it’s below the water table. The slab might be four-foot thick concrete, the retaining walls 24 inches. The alternative is to install foundation drainage with pumps that run 24/7.

Officials said the building, built in 1981, was going through a recertification process and that engineers had been hired to complete electrical and structural repairs.

Experts who had studied the building as recently as last year said the building was unstable and had been sinking since the 1990s.

Sounds like some big money had a private talk with the local building official.

I think these states being run by the dominion software all had the general policies and rulesets installed. And then had a dominion employee dedicated to the state to handle the election. since the software was too complex for the government election staff office. That fits my IT experience.

They did have internet connections. An outside consultant can’t survive with out it. They could be dicking around with practices and definitions. I often let the vendors in via a remote port call that I had to open up in the firewall and then close back down after they did their work. And on occasion I had to find a phone line and install an older modem so we could have a private internet with the vendor when the firewall connection failed. None of these would be described as an open internet connection But both of them are letting the vendor in with super admin privilege’s. They get super admin because the software always craps out if they have lessor priveleges.

I worked under a Department Head of elections. I was in meetings around electronic voting. This was 15 years ago. There was a definite interest in election integrity and a really strong bias against any form of electronic voting until it could be thoroughly tested. The testing takes a minimum of 4-10 years IMO. No changes to the existing systems until the test clear.

Political leaders threw away that caution to save money and get election bells and whistles. Any dominion election result is sketchy. No confidence.

NO poisonous Aussie ones so I try and catch and release them. Everything is covered in webs. Like a gigantic bug shield around my RV. And sometimes they don’t like to share space.

Glad I’m not in CA anymore it was black widows everywhere all the time. we used to make personal flamethrowers and scorch them at night to keep the population down. I think there is a certain type of bird that if you can get it to nest near your house then it culls the spider population pretty effectively.

I didn’t know that Britney Spears has been in a California conservator prison managed by her father for 13 years.

Over the two-week holiday, a lady came into my home for four hours a day, sat me down and did a psych test on me. It took forever. But I was I was told I had to. Then after, I got a phone call from my dad, basically saying I’d failed the test or whatever, whatever. “I’m sorry, Britney, you have to listen to your doctors. They’re planning to send you to a small home in Beverly Hills to do a small rehab program that we’re going to make up for you. You’re going to pay $60,000 a month for this.” I cried on the phone for an hour and he loved every minute of it.

That California psych test system no one should agree to. It’s run by overworked undertrained people whose goals is just to meet court requirements. They’ll institutionalize almost anyone who isn’t perfect. But live the Governor in office.

It’s said her diagnosis was dementia. But she seems much more capable in her statement then Joe Biden does in his. Her bad lawyers are missing that point.

It sounds more like she was just a famous rock state woman with a substance issue that got bad. That’s a max 2 year to cure if it temporary not 13 years. But I have been to some meetings where long term drug addicts gave themselves a form of schizophrenia. But even then they maintained jobs and living quarters. She seemed fine to me in her court statement.

That allows that group of three to function as a parasite on the afflicted. The afflicted gets put into a matrix that has a 95 percent chance of being a misdiagnosis. The patient will be treated like garbage. I saw an instance of a patient committing a technicality on a California piece of paperwork and being set back 6 months in their back to home outcome. The U.S. Naval Academy must educate midshipmen on the roots and lasting effects of racism in America and in the Navy to create a more diverse and inclusive officer corps.
By Ensign Sydney Frankenberg, U.S. Navy

On 12 January 2021, top-ranking Department of Defense (DoD) officials, including the Chief of Naval Operations, issued a forcewide memo declaring that any attempt to prevent the peaceful transition of power to President-Elect Joe Biden would have consequences. The week prior, Confederate flags had defiled the halls and chambers of the U.S. Capitol after armed insurrectionists forced their way inside. Eleven months earlier, Ahmaud Arbery, an African American man out on a jog, was stalked and killed by men driving a truck displaying the Confederate flag. His tragic death foreshadowed the senseless killings of other black Americans, including George Floyd and Breonna Taylor, igniting waves of outrage and protests throughout the country.

Abstract: Background: COVID-19 vaccines have had expedited reviews without sufficient safety data. We wanted to compare risks and benefits. Method: We calculated the number needed to vaccinate (NNTV) from a large Israeli field study to prevent one death. We accessed the Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR) database of the European Medicines Agency and of the Dutch National Register (lareb.nl) to extract the number of cases reporting severe side effects and the number of cases
    with fatal side effects.

Result: The NNTV is between 200–700 to prevent one case of COVID-19 for the mRNA vaccine marketed by Pfizer, while the NNTV to prevent one death is between 9000 and 50,000 (95% confidence interval), with 16,000 as a point estimate. The number of cases experiencing adverse reactions has been reported to be 700 per 100,000 vaccinations. Currently, we see 16 serious side effects per 100,000 vaccinations, and the number of fatal side effects is at 4.11/100,000 vaccinations. For three deaths prevented by vaccination we have to accept two inflicted by vaccination.

Conclusions: This lack of clear benefit should cause governments to rethink their vaccination policy.

Funny that. I seem to remember similar things from my work.

I could name at least 6 lesbians who work in our facility (including my immediate supervisor), but none of them have rainbow flags on their office walls or their cars.

The only one who makes a point of broadcasting her identity to anyone who will listen (regardless of whether they care) is the new case manager they saddled me with a few weeks ago. We finally realized that the reason she insists on telling everyone she’s gay is to inoculate herself against criticism. She’s utterly incompetent, has a huge chip on her shoulder, and blames everyone else for her failings. We’re trying to figure out how to fire her now, before she manages to completely destroy the department.

And surprise…we learned that she’s sued the last two places she worked at for discrimination.

There were four candidates. The top two both declined. The third one is a woman who is equally useless, but we know about her, because she used to work here. Nobody knew this one, so they took a chance on her.

Unfortunately, we were forced to hire one of them by our warden. Case managers are considered critical positions, so we get fined by the state if we have vacant positions for too long. The warden insisted that we hire someone out of that batch.

The sad thing is that we don’t even need that position. They added it during the last contract negotiation, but our inmate population has since decreased by 40%. My personal suggestion was that they eliminate it.

    @ Bunk X:
The gist of it: The building had water infiltration problems due to age and lack of maintenance (a lot of windows and doorways leaked) and there was evidence of water damage in the balconies and soffits. BUT
Down in the basement there were visible problems – a lot of concrete spalling and cracks in the slab, retaining walls and concrete columns. It was so bad that rebar was exposed to salt air. The Owner/Maintenance company knew about it and made some half-assed attempts to fill the cracks without addressing underlying problems.

The report recommended repairs, some very costly, and they also recommended that the repairs be done expeditiously. That was in October 2018.

Some witnesses reported hearing a loud explosion before the collapse. I think that was a concrete column exploding outward from internal stresses when its rebar failed.

You would think. However, case law apparently holds local governments blameless when they screw up inspections like this. There was a case in the Dallas suburb we lived in when a builder put in backyards for homes they built next to a creek. The buildings and properties were certified for occupancy by the city and “passed” all inspections. A year or so down the road, the backyard fences and backyards started to disappear because the builder had used improper fill practices to build up the land next to the creek and the land slid away. Despite the fact the city had approved occupancy and done the inspections, they could not be pursued. IIRC, the builder had gone bankrupt, so the homeowners were pretty well screwed.

That’s what I thought when I read you comment above. The building code and inspection were not adequate. I wonder if all building in the area have the same risk. The insurance companies should also have an interest in this.

I bought a building once where the insurance was so low it seemed attractive just because of the insurance rate. Upon closing and inspection I couldn’t re insure with that company for some reason. i went out in the insurance market and the cheapest insurance I could get was 50 times higher.

Should have been a warning sign. The previous owners were scamming their insurance just so they could met regulations.

No documentation. No policy on that. But it was let known to me that my manager and her manager expected that. and it was their primary concern.

3 big failures that ran havoc through the org for years. one left with in a year. another re orged everything without a sense of work. the other retired.

My failure was not to understand leadership very well. I didn’t have a good enough relationship with my bosses to bring up objections.

In the year 2000, the orthodoxy was that humans spread across the world 60,000 years ago, and were descended exclusively from a small population in Africa. Neanderthals and various other human groups (and yes, we didn’t even deign to give them all names) were evolutionary “dead ends.” Of interest mostly to scholars, they were dismissed as failed experiments in a world our ancestors won. Today, this tidy story of us no longer passes a basic fact check.

In 2010, genomes recovered from ancient remains of “archaic hominins” in Eurasia turned out to have genetic matches in many modern humans. It seems they weren’t quite as “archaic” as we thought. In addition, we had to get used to the new reality that a solid 2-3% of the ancestry of all humans outside Africa is Neanderthal. About 5% of the ancestry of Melanesian groups, like the Papuans of New Guinea, actually comes from a previously unimagined new human lineage discovered in Denisova cave, in Siberia of all places.
    .
    .
And now, one after another, new dramatis personae, mostly ghosts, keep entering stage left, complicating what once seemed our simple soliloquy. In The New York Times, Carl Zimmer reports on a very well-preserved fossil, Discovery of ‘Dragon Man’ Skull in China May Add Species to Human Family Tree. Meanwhile, an Israeli group has a paper out in Science on a human population discovered there which seems to resemble Neanderthals and dates to 120,000 to 140,000 years ago. “Dragon Man” is at least 140,000 years old, and it is a very well preserved skull which exhibits a mixture of “primitive” and “modern” features.

    https://razib.substack.com/p/here-be-humans

I think Stephen Jay Gould’s theory of Punctuated Equilibrium may take a small hit for this, because it always assumed that the entire lineage was unknown. However, Donald Johanson, who discovered Lucy and needed her to be the genesis, just sinks. Which is fine with me, as he was an unmitigated SOB when I met him and asked about PE.

    Oh, this is priceless!

SACRED SPRING Native Americans fear Harry & Meghan are using holy water to irrigate gardens

    https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/15411418/native-americans-harry-meg-water/

The couple’s £11million Californian mansion is built on land that once belonged to the Chumash tribe.

The area is home to several hot and cold springs, plus a series of underground rivers, from which locals divert water.

But tribe leader Eleanor Fishburn, 60, said it should not be used to irrigate their gardens.

She said: “For us, this water is a pure water, a holy water and a ceremonial water.

“As a native population, it is sacred for us and the idea that people in the area are using water from springs to water their gardens is something that doesn’t sit well with us.”

Eleanor, leader of the tribe’s Barbareno- Ventura branch, invited the couple to meet them to discuss alternatives.

She said: “It would be great if they came so we could explain our history and culture and let them know about how sacred the water is to us.

“It would be good to explain to them that if they are using the water to irrigate their garden, they have an alternative choice.”

Last month The Sun told how remains of a man, thought to be part of the Chumash tribe, was found on land close to Harry and Meg’s mansion in Montecito.

The tribe once lived along the coasts of California.

I follow the Harry/Meghan saga religiously for a variety of reasons, not least for the entertainment value of their holier-than-thou train wreck of go-woke go-broke ideology.

Oprah Winfrey lives down the street. You should see her spread. If this group really wanted to go after somebody with deep pockets, it would be her.

Steve Bannon just gutted Mitt Romney. Speaking about Trump’s contention that there was fraud he said (paraphrasing) “Who did he hear that from? The Justice Dept? Rudi Guiliani? That Pillow Guy?”

Bannon lost it. How Romney’s wealth came from being a vulture capitalist and Mike Lindell kept in in the U.S. and never fired anybody. Then he went into the family history (Mexico, military service as in NONE). And he says he’s not done. “We have the receipts on your entire family and we’re not done with you”

The California Independent System Operator’s warning of impending electricity shortages heralds another blackout-riddled summer at the same time California’s electricity prices are skyrocketing.

In 2020, California’s electricity prices jumped by 7.5%, making it the biggest price increase of any state in the country last year and nearly seven times the increase that was seen in the United States as a whole.

I was local government. We had a JOC(joint operations center) in any emergency that needed collective leadership from all org departments. If the emergency rose beyond local parameters we installed IT to a desk for the feds and a desk for the state. The JOC commander was an employee trained in emergency evaluatio and escalation of support. the JOC commander would access the incident, confer with the leaders and then request rollup to state facilities then to fed facilities. It worked well. We had a 3 ring binder with a section for earthquakes, bomb threats, snow closures, terrorism, pandemics.

The pandemic response was just a page and never used.

Some odd stuff in the pages. One was to place all gas stations under law enforcement control in certain emergencies.

I used to joke with the single person who ran emergency management before 9/11. That he needed more crimes to get a bigger budget. Now it’s a large production studio with state of the arts comms and 20 employees.

    This is a GREAT story!

Sixty years after declaring the dugout was no place for a girl, the Yankees rectified their mistake and made one fan’s dreams come true.

In 1961, 10-year-old Gwen Goldman wrote to her favorite team and asked to become its bat girl. Then-general manager Roy Hamey declined her request in a letter that has been sitting in Goldman’s living room since.

“While we agree with you that girls are certainly as capable as boys, and no doubt would be an attractive addition on the playing field, I am sure you can understand that in a game dominated by men a young lady such as yourself would feel out of place in a dugout,” he wrote.
