Hot dogs cost less than last year??? Yeah, ok. This is what the ‘elitists’ think we eat at cookouts?

Eff that. BBQ yuge primal cuts of meat taste better and are better for you!

17 lbs of brisket…i trimmed some of the fat and have it in a foil wrap to render it. you see how the crust is forming? THe rub is salt, pepper, spanish paprika and Kashmiri pepper. Yes, i scored the fat cap! OMG…Texas just lost their collective mind; yeah, big deal. Yankee Smokers! I use mesquite, apple, maple, and oak.

Yinz can look up the peach paper method, it works great and doenst wreck the crust. Yeah, I’ll finish it in the oven. Texas lost its mind again! but for real, once it’s in the peach paper, the meat doesn’t care from where it gets its heat.

key phrase “the stall” when lookin up the peach paper method.

once that crust is done setting and the slab is around 170…peach paper.

Happy 4th Yinz.

Stars And Stripes Forever, Kendle’s First Regiment Band (1901) Possibly the first recording of John Philip Sousas “The Stars And Stripes Forever March.” Sousa wrote in his autobiography that he composed the march on Christmas Day, 1896, while crossing the Atlantic, after he learned of the death of his band’s manager. In 1987 an Act of Congress declared the song to be the Official National March of the United States of America.

Same thing happened with racial matters in the US. There’s more demand for racism than supply, so we’ve had to redefine what counts as racism to keep race grifters employed.

    This is interesting

The Acting House Sergeant at Arms appeared before a House committee and appears to have named Ashli Babbitt’s shooter.

Timothy Blodgett, in an exchange with Rep. Herrera-Buetler during a hearing on Jan. 6 that appeared on C-SPAN, seems to have casually dropped the name.

“The situation where you discussed, where Officer [Byrd] was at the door when Ms. Babbitt was shot, it was our Sergeant at Arms employee who rendered the aid.”

It is interesting that Blodgett names an “Officer Byrd” in the context of Ashli Babbitt’s shooting. An African-American Lieutenant Mike Byrd was reported by Roll Call as having once left his service weapon in a bathroom in 2019.

There’s no way to be sure because the first suit presented to the camera with his right side. But if you look closely, it looks like his left arm may have been going for a weapon. And then decided he didn’t need it. I know most people are right handed but – I’m not.

So why is peach butcher paper a staple for all serious barbecue cooks? For starters, most of the great BBQ chefs are using it and who doesn’t know that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery?? But let’s get into the “why” behind the effectiveness of this tool. This paper has a “sizing” treatment that keeps it from falling apart when it gets wet which makes it a durable paper that not only prevents leaks but also allows the meat to breathe by letting out moisture. This process is ideal for wrapping meats for smoking because it allows the smoke flavor to be absorbed. Ultimately, peach butcher paper ensures the integrity of your meat by protecting it from contaminants while it locks in moisture.

Have you heard about the hit Jesus TV show? The one that launched with a more than $10 million crowdfunding drive? And that streams for free from its own app, where the view counter has surpassed 194 million as of this writing? And that is honestly much better than I expected?

By the standards of independent media, The Chosen is a success. On Easter Sunday, 750,000 people tuned in to live-stream the Season 2 premiere; for comparison, the first episode of HBO’s Mare of Easttown attracted 1 million Christ and his disciples as a multi-season drama with imaginative character backstories and interpersonal conflicts—has been a largely underground phenomenon. Until its appearance on NBC’s Peacock earlier this year, The Chosen wasn’t on a major cable network or TV streaming service. Most mainstream publications have not reviewed it, though scattered reports mention its crowdfunding drives (in sum, the largest ever for a media project). You could pay close attention to the television industry and not know The Chosen exists. That’s because the show’s success so far has arrived not in spite of its insularity, but because of it.

Even many Christians are skeptical of faith-based entertainment. The Chosen’s showrunner, Dallas Jenkins, when I spoke with him recently, compared the people who spread the word about his show to the story of Christ’s disciple Philip telling his friend Nathanael that the messiah is from the backwater
town of Nazareth. (“Can anything good come from there?” Nathanael famously replied.) So can a biblical series made by a production company from the founders of VidAngel—a service that allowed viewers to filter out nudity, profanity, and graphic violence from TV and movies, then was sold after a multimillion-dollar copyright-infringement lawsuit—actually be worth watching?

    https://www.theatlantic.com/culture/archive/2021/06/the-chosen-jesus-tv-show/619306/

I don’t know how to find this. ‘streaming’ isn’t very specific.

It’s a spa. Maybe you have a robe. The one time I used one on a vacation to Tahoe, there was more nudity than at the gym, but it was graceful and tasteful and respectful. And there are always the showers. There was never any exhibitionism (except by women who had breast implants and their boobs were cantilevered. That’s big $$$, might as well show it off. But if you watch the video, the woman who is complaining at the front desk is black and she isn’t having it.

I read a book review in the Wall Street Journal about a book written on how Tolkien, C.S. Following a citizen’s petition, a Lisbon court was forced to provide verified COVID-19 mortality data.

According to the ruling (read full judgment below), the number of verified COVID-19 deaths from January 2020 to April 2021 is only 152, not about 17,000 as claimed by government ministries.

All the “others” died for various reasons, although their PCR test was positive.

The data are from the Sistema de Informação dos Certificados de Óbito (Death Certificate Information System – SICO), the only such system in Portugal.

follow the money. I don’t know if you remember, but early on we found out that the U.S. gov’t was going to cover hospital costs for covid patients so there was the incentive for fake numbers. If that or something similar, was also done in Portugal, you don’t need a conspiracy, just human nature.

Remember that case in Colorado not too long ago where the hospital got caught reporting a gun shot death as COVID?

What a wonderful country the USA is. Built from nothing into the greatest country on the planet.

Now let as look how America became so great.

Declaration of Independence authored by British subjects.

Signatories to the Declaration of Independence all British.

The famous Paul Revere was of French descent. Father was French Huguenot born Apollos Rivoire but Paul Revere was a British subject.

First four American presidents were British.

The reason the president of the United States of America lives in the white house is because the British burned down the original presidential home so you had to build a new one, out of stone so the British could not burn it down again.

    Need I continue?

In conclusion the United States of America was the greatest gift the British gave to humanity.

    Oh, Red, White and Blue?

Yep the British even inspired your flag.

the only real trans person(I think I don’t know for sure) that I ever met in person was a confused soul that lashed out at everyone and everything. A desire to destroy the life as he saw it.

Give that person any sense of power beyond the self and they would spend it unwisely.

However this is still a person that wants and needs love but feels bound and constricted by the norms of society. Its probably a group that does need its own city somewhere. With Trans doctors and trans bus drivers. Altering the norm to fit their not normal mind is not productive for anyone.

    1. Don’t let a $10 sundress or a $15 bikini cost you 18 years of child support.
    2. There are things you get from sex that cost a lot more and stay with you a lot longer than child support.
    3. Don’t add to the country’s pollution.
    4. Don’t subtract from our nation’s population.
    5. If you end up in jail establish your status early.
    6. Beer goggles work on women too.
    7. Explosives and alcohol go great together but will leave scars and could kill you.
    8. Alcohol and anything that move (boats, cars, tractors, F15s) do not go together.
    9. Every law abiding American should own a firearm but discharging it into the air should come with a death sentence (also see rule #4 and #16).

She finally got out of the skilled nursing facility although they wanted to keep her there. The facility may be shut down for fraud and abuse.
She got back to her apartment like she wanted, but then she had to face the fact that she’s disabled, can’t walk, and her right hand is useless.
She’s got a physical therapist and just took her first steps recently. Her longtime friend Eddie has been taking care of her.

It’s a bite on the Afro Centrism that is fundamental to these less than intelligent black who claim Egypt and the Bible as creations of black culture in Africa. They exist. They point to the Ethiopian Bible as being the oldest preserved Bible in the world. It’s pre Roman.

Those blacks that feel inclined to ravage history in favor of modern prejudices are usually sitting on a house of cards.

There is black pride, black soul but they are accompanied by black paranoia, black hate. Blacks who label themselves as black and history as black further their progress to being perpetual victims.
