Hey, Germany. Your armband is showing again….

…Public displays of the letter “Z” have been outlawed in two German states, after authorities in Bavaria and Lower Saxony announced over the weekend that anyone who displays the letter – which has become synonymous with support for Russia’s war in Ukraine – will be subject to a fine or three years in jail, according to The Local….

…Meanwhile, Ukraine is asking the entire world to criminalize the usage of “Z” – with Foreign Affairs Minister Dmytro Kuleba tweeting on Tuesday: “I call on all states to criminalize the use of the ‘Z’ symbol as a way to publicly support Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine.”…

Nor to be outdone, Zelensky scored a major Virtue Signal with Green Energy for the win!

Zelensky is a clueless clown…

These three actions alone drove 4 Russian armored columns to stop, the soldiers immediately dismounted and began a free range, vegan, queer friendly, organic, fair trade, soy milk and avocado farm.

These latest virtue signals will surely be THE ONEs that breaks Putin’s back! Everyone sporting Ukie flags came oh so close to finishing him off!

Amazed that a top FBI cyber official has no idea where Hunter Biden’s laptop is after the bureau took custody in late 2019, U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., on Tuesday motioned during a House hearing to enter the contents of the first son’s computer into the congressional record.

Initially at a loss for words, Democratic Chairman Jerry Nadler of New York objected to the unanimous consent request after consultation, insisting further “investigation” was needed.

Gaetz repeatedly asked the FBI cyber division assistant director, Bryan Vorndran, if he knew the whereabouts of the laptop that is at the center of a Justice Department investigation into Hunter Biden’s lucrative business deals.

“I don’t know that answer,” the FBI official said.

    https://www.zerohedge.com/military/limited-russian-pullback-near-kiev-no-breakthroughs-talks-amid-colossal-attack-chernihiv

Update(0943): State media is reporting that Russia’s lead negotiator after coming off Tuesday’s “constructive” talks in Istanbul is saying that “Kiev has essentially agreed” to Moscow’s key demands of not joining NATO or allowing foreign bases and troops on its soil.

“Ukrainian negotiators have essentially agreed to Russia’s principle security demands of rejecting NATO membership and regarding the presence of foreign military bases on its territory,” the Kremlin’s chief negotiator Vladimir Medinsky has said. In the statement he noted further that Ukraine has “stated willingness to meet core Russian demands.” He said further while speaking to Rossiya-24 broadcaster on Wednesday:

“Yesterday, for the first time…the authorities in Kiev have declared their readiness to negotiate with Russia. They handed us on paper the principles of a possible future agreement, which provides for: a rejection of entry into NATO, fixing Ukraine’s bloc-free status, a renunciation of nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction.”

At the same time on Wednesday there appears to be more positive signals coming from the Ukrainian side, with its negotiator Mykhailo Podolyak saying that while a peace deal with Russia is in the works, it would only be put up for a national referendum after Russia withdraws all troops to their pre-invasion Feb.23rd positions. But this is a huge if – given it’s impossible to predict anything in terms of the on-the-ground battle or the Russian military’s intent.

Here’s how The Post analyzed Hunter Biden’s laptop

Two experts confirm the veracity of thousands of emails, but say a thorough examination was stymied by missing data

Thousands of emails purportedly from the laptop computer of Hunter Biden, President Biden’s son, are authentic communications that can be verified through cryptographic signatures from Google and other technology companies, say two security experts who examined the data at the request of The Washington Post.

The verifiable emails are a small fraction of 217 gigabytes of data provided to The Post on a portable hard drive by Republican activist Jack Maxey. He said the contents of the portable drive originated from Biden’s MacBook Pro, which Biden reportedly dropped off at a computer repair shop in Wilmington, Del., in April 2019 and never reclaimed.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2022/03/30/hunter-biden-laptop-data-examined/

Maybe the FBI could ask WaPo. Altho they might have to wait for Leslie Stahl to verify that now it can be verified.

    This is cool

The Most Distant Single Star Was Just Detected, as Ancient as The Cosmic Dawn

From billions of light-years across the vast gulf of space-time, from the very dawn of the Universe, astronomers have detected the light of a single star.

Its discoverers have nicknamed it Earendel, from the Anglo-Saxon word meaning “morning star”; to date, it is the most distant object of its kind ever detected, dating to just 900 million years after the Big Bang.

Because Earendel’s light has traveled so far to reach us, its properties are difficult to discern, but follow-up observations have already been approved for the James Webb Space Telescope.

The first billion years of the Universe’s history following the Big Bang 13.8 billion years ago, also known as the Cosmic Dawn, are very difficult to see. Not only is it murky and dark very early, when the first stars and galaxies form, it’s also extremely distant. Even finding quasars, the brightest objects in the Universe, stretches the capabilities of our technology and analysis techniques.

But there’s a quirk of gravity that can show us small, distant things that might otherwise be beyond our reach. It’s called gravitational lensing, and it has to do with the gravitational curvature of space-time around massive objects, such as galaxies and galaxy clusters.

Wake Forest has taken note and maybe this is the end of her so-called medical career

    K. Del, or Kychelle Del Rosario, a fourth year medical student at Wake Forest School of Medicine, posted to Twitter that a patient was so disrespecting of her pronouns that she intentionally injured the patient during a medical procedure. Del Rosario has since deleted her account.
“I had a patient I was doing a blood draw on see my pronoun pin and loudly laugh to the staff ‘She/Her? Well of course it is! What other pronouns even are there? It?’ I missed his vein so he had to get stuck twice,” Del Rosario said in a now deleted tweet.

The stare. The pursed lips. The repeating of the same phrase over and over again. The claim that someone is in my space. The hands and flexing in repressed anger.

Actually I feel sorry for her husband who has just lost HIS mother and has this bitch in tow. He tries to damp down the rhetoric but she just refused all reasonable action to dial it back. Her hubby needs to travel and he shouldn’t be forced to leave the aircraft. She/ Her/ It/ ix … etc should get her arse handed to her on a plate and get frogmarched to the door and thrown off the airplane.

I made the mistake of feeling sorry for a crazy bitch once in a similar situation and allowed her to stay aboard. The bitch ended up assaulting 3 cabin staff and a Check Captain, (she kicked him in the balls), and when she got onto the ground at the end of the flight slashed a female Federal Cop across the face with a half opened set of handcuffs.

In that case the Aussie Feds dragged her the length of the Aircraft on her face, down the rear stairs backwards, and threw her arse through the air into a paddy-wagon.

The learning moment was …. NEVER allow ‘a crazy’ stay on your airplane with the rest of your passengers, who deserve better.

My guess CW is that Russia will keep the talks open whilst diging in around Kyiv and redeploying forces towards the East and south. Defending is a whole lot less manpower expensive. If and when the East and South are in Russian hands (a big IF ) Kyiv may be declared an ‘Open City’ and some form of Line of Control declared for forces in place. EU Membership supported by Russia for Ukraine but no to NATO Membership and a neutrality pact declared.

    OR the war continues.

Browsing through the sino-Russkie threads one sees a lot of disdain towards western liberal wokeness. They see the trans woman as an existential threat.

Duality is a fundamental law of the universe. It’s represented in the two sexes. When someone insists on three then they sin. Not necessarily sin in the terms of religion. They deviate from the flow of life. And nature self corrects. People who emote the alphabet LBTQ as their primary fundamental life characteristic are lost. They are something greater than that but choose not to see.

Putin doesn’t want this trend anywhere near him.

Bell curve with a velocity. 20 percent of the variations will be absorbed back into the main if they prove of evolutionary benefit. I suppose the modern information age clouds reproduction a lot as a person no longer has to be involved in the male/female reproduction cycle to survive well. That could be a function of nature also. As we complex ourselves out how do we determine the path to follow.

The Bell curve also is an idea that in perfection is a Bell curve but in practice has a lot of divergence.

Well its beyond me. That gets a bit into Jordan Peterson territory.

We have payday loans here. At moneytree. I tried them once. Small loans but will suck all the life out of you if you neglect to pay them back.

I can’t remember the interests rates but I seem to recall 100 percent.
Big money in assessing fees and interest on the poor. I saw an internet chart last week that in 2011 the US economy suffered 4 Billion of loses due to theft. And 11 Billion of loses due to banking overdraft fees.

    https://prospect.org/economy/big-banks-charged-billions-in-overdraft-fees-during-pandemic/

JPMorgan Chase, for example, made a stunning $1.5 billion in revenue on overdraft alone in 2020, according to recent FDIC filings. During that same period, Bank of America made $1.1 billion in profits, and Wells Fargo made $1.3 billion. The final three months of 2020, when the pandemic was at its most widespread and deadliest, were also the year’s most profitable, with all three of those banks pulling down over $300 million just in overdraft fees. So while Americans suffered through the worst wave of our worst public-health crisis in 100 years, with unemployment sky-high and intermittently lapsed federal benefits, the country’s biggest banks were gouging the poorest Americans for billions of dollars in punitive fees.

This Russia thing hasn’t worked yet, I don’t know why they keep trying it

MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace said Wednesday on her show “Deadline” former president Donald Trump and FNC’s Tucker Carlson are “associating themselves” with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Wallace said, “I want to put up this kind of axis of Putin, Trump, Tucker Carlson, because I think we have mistakenly thought that world events or tragedies or a red line or the slaughter of innocents or as Tony Blinken says, ‘the commission of war crimes,’ that these things could be defrosted, they could be put on ice, but it is clear they are not. Tucker Carlson has been amplifying Russian disinformation: March 8, blamed America for Russia’s war, March 12 far-right embrace of the bioweapon conspiracy theory as the bombs were falling on Mariupol and other Ukrainian cities. And then, on March 13, we learned that the Kremlin feels it is essential to feature Tucker Carlson. Have you ever covered one of the two American political parties associating themselves with an American adversary at a time of war?”

And that is a good thing. Plants have adapted.

    https://static.colostate.edu/client-files/csfs/pdfs/06307.pdf

    It’s difficult to see
the rebirth of a forest after a
    devastating fire. The speed
    and extent of recovery
    depends on the severity of
    the fire, when it occurred,
    and the plant community.
    Nature has
    equipped many plants to
    recover quickly from fire.
    The root systems of many
    plants run deep and are
    often protected from lethal
    temperatures. Once the
    above ground stem is
    removed, roots are
stimulated to send up new shoots. The soil profile may contain many dormant
seeds waiting for the right conditions to germinate and grow. Some trees are so
adapted to fire that they rely upon it to regenerate new stands. Pinecones of
some species will not open and release the seed until exposed to the heat of fire.
Given these adaptations to fire, recovery of many plants will occur, often rapidly.

    Fighters fight other aircraft.

The enemy launches fighters to shoot down planes that can drop bombs.

Friendly fighters protect the bombers and shoot down the enemy fighters that were launched to kill the bombers. But the F22 does not have the range to follow a B2 all the way.

You’re making the same mistake that the USAF gurus made back in the 1960s when they failed to arm the F-4 with a cannon. Instead they armed it with missiles that didn’t work!

The F-35 was supposed to do the job of the A-10 down and dirty in the mud and the blood. Like sending a ‘preppy guy in a sweater’ to go fight in a dark dirty lane with a local gang.

Those supersonic A-4s that the Argie’s were flying only went supersonic an instant before they hit the ground. I spent time as 75Sqn (A4) RNZAF’s Intelligence Officer, on loan from the Army Reserve, because I was an Air NZ pilot as well, and promised not to spew and stink up the cockpit, when I was joy riding in the back seat of an A4 or an Aeromacchi.

A10 does a different job. A Harrier was kind of designed to do that job also but it was small, and only had one engine but could take off and land anywhere there was a space big enough.

A10s are great if you have control of the air. Hey maybe 30 years ago A10s with air fighter support from Harriers would have been an awesome combination on short range missions.

With the current missile technology aircraft are becoming obsolete.

Just like in the 50’s when that German person made USAF intercontinental missiles and the hundreds of aircraft flying around in circles in the artic were no longer needed.

OK not trying to start a fight but history is repeating itself.

In the 50’s long range bombers were replaced by ICBM’s

Now long range bombers are being replaced by air and sea launched missiles.

No close air to air combat required.

I will tell you when they sent some to Germany to test in the 92-93 our F-16 pilots hated them. But, consider those were prototypes. They said the F-117 performed better overall. If given a choice though they’d rather have their F-16’s or F-4’s. (But the Air Force wouldn’t let anyone keep their F-4’s, too old, gave them A-10’s instead. I know why Concorde was not militarized. It could have carried a shit load of air launched Tomahawk cruse missiles, got them from New York to Europe in three hours and then flown to London so the pilots could have afternoon tea and cucumber sandwiches.

Only thing preventing it was the people in New York yelling ” THE NOISE!!! ”

    Yep she was noisy….

Rip out the first class seats, no passengers so no baggage. Loads of space then for bombs or air to ground missiles

Fly by wire ( a little known fact )

    Quite fast. LOL

    Long range.

    Really fucking cool looking..

Cruising at Mach 2.2 at 60,000 feet …. it’d be a wee bit difficult to fire ANYTHING from inside with a cabin pressure delta of about 10 PSI, and if you attempted to strap anything on that beautiful wing it’d fall out of the air like a sack of shit.

Oh and by the way Concord only had FIRST CLASS !

Then they were just pulling your tit.

The F-117 was an unarmed light bomber even if it had a F- nomencular, that flew like a subsonic truck. It was the first attempt at true stealth but the flat surfaces were compromises because there wasn’t the IT power to model true stealthy curves.

The F-22 was a true Air Superiority Fighter, that hasn’t been matched except by networking.

And yes a gun will always be the last line of defence. However missiles can be spoofed and the new half dozen (can’t remember their new ‘warry’ name but they used to be called Loyal Wingmen during development) combat drones, pass the power back to the offence and hence the F-35 and F-22.

Half a dozen supersonic drones using AI with some flying offense and some defence protecting the manned core aircraft of the flight, give the power back to the attacker. Automated directed LASER defense is rumoured as the next big leap. Manned aircraft both with men in the loop on the ground as well as in the air is the next step.

    Concorde was First Class.

Me, as a Concord bomber pilot would have slowed down to a very slow Mach 0.9 and opened the bomb bay, unleashed my Tomahawks 600 miles from the target and then done a gentle 180 turn and hit the gas. Headed back to Heathrow, landed, got myself a martini, shaken not stirred and settled into a comfy chair and watched CNN live from Baghdad and watched the missiles explode.

Alas, I am now too old, there are no Concordes still flying, I doubt the USA would let me borrow a Tomahawk and even if all that was possible me blowing up Baghdad would be frowned upon.

Why are there STILL long range bombers including B-52s, B1s, B-2s and soon B21s.

“The HHS documents describe what it calls appropriate treatments for transgender adolescents, including: ‘Top’ surgery – to create male-typical chest shape or enhance breasts;’ and ‘Bottom’ surgery – surgery on genitals or reproductive organs, facial feminization or other procedures,’” the report added.

How many transgender Americans are there? Less than 1 percent. Much less I think. The rest of them in this grouping are imitating a stutter. Give them a clear black and white boundary and they’ll snap out of it and become who they really are.

The young kids are taught this thing called “passing”. If they are 1 percent African American they can then mentally pass in either category of race depending on how determined they are against social mores.

He got reamed out by the Squadron Commander for NOT sticking to SOPs and then was shouted a steak dinner for saving the airplane. He also had a trophy in his office at Pt. Cook. It was an actual brick with wings and a Sabre paint scheme on a plith.

    🙂
He also had an engine failure flying a Winjeel trainer at Pt. Cook and landed it on one of the roads between the septic ponds, at the Wirrie sewerage farm, south of Melbourne near Avalon base at the edge of our training area. For days afterwards whenever he came into the cadets’ mess we’d all hold our noses and collectively cry PHEWWWWW!

    I’m guessing not.

What I remember is that if you see the enemy pilot 4 miles ahead of you and he turns then you have to turn at a specific point in the sky at a specific speed else you get a rocket up your rear.

All very true but the pilot also has to have an aircraft that will perform the maneuvers required to avoid that situation and turn the tables.

Remember that say a F-35 jockey is forced to engage in a close quarter gun fight he now has options. Like ‘suelling’ one of his supersonic capable unmanned offensive / defensive AI drones onto the enemy manned aircraft. The drone can pull 20 G and turn inside ANY manned platform and can either choose to ram the enemy , shoot it down or destroy its electronics with a beam weapon.

The original number was 1:10,000 truly trans individuals. That’s 10 truly trans per 100,000 people, or 0.001% of the population.

That was until it became fashionable and ‘cool’ to identify as a Trans. Who knows how many mentally unstable ‘joiners’ now ID as trans.

Gotta feel sorry for the truly trans folks who through no fault of their own got a bad shuffle of the genetic pack of cards.

The rest are just ‘, and ‘joiners’ and unstables who make up the vast majority of suicides. If it wasn’t ‘trans’ it’d be for some other reason brought on by their mental instability.

No! What an absolute waste! The F-22 is truly the premier aircraft of all time thus far. Runs circles around the F-35 and can outperform anything out there. So of course it makes sense to mothball it. Who is the numbskull who came up with that idea?

    NOOOOO !

They are the LAST types to operate as spooks. It’s really hard work maintaining two different personna and remembering everything associated with each separate personna. I mean it is REALLY hard work. Fortunately it’s 98% sheer boredom punctuated by 2% of sheer terror, so you do get a break. Fortunate also to have a very good reason for having all of the physical involuntary reactions , ‘stored in your back pocket’ to explain away what’s happening to you in one of those 2% situations. All of that adrenaline needs somewhere to go, other than shaking uncontrollably afterwards.

Gender dysphoria is a mental illness. We have enough spooks who are easily classifiable in the – whatever that psychiatry book of classifiable mental illnesses is – we don’t need any more.

don’t get me started on the ghoul doctors who willingly mutilate these poor souls to accommodate their fantasies. I remember one case of a young woman who wanted to be blind and found a doctor to remove her eyes. He kept his license. Never read a follow up story. I wonder why.

I love Israel and I love the Jews.

And I can appreciate their lament “Hey, God, go ‘choose’ somebody else, wouldja?”

But no one escapes their humanity, which is just as fallen as the rest of ours.

Remember ‘bigel’ from the swamp? Who swore that if anything happened to Israel (he was a Jew from NYC – never figured out why he didn’t move to Israel – make ‘aliyah’) the entire world deserved to be nuked?

I’ll have a bit more respect when American Jews stop voting for Dems en bloc like a knee-jerk reaction. For a supposedly intelligent culture, they sure seem to be slow learners.

In the current world there are no gloabl Americans with foresight and energy. A country would be unwise to trust the US as an ally without a rock solid treaty. These islands should be encouraged to be city states. I’s sure they have divisions in politics. China will uighyr them eventually. Chinese move in. Inter marry and push the natives out.

The USS Liberty seems like an evil event. I think Aussie Infidel has given the clearest look at it.

I would not be surprised if there was a table top war between the US and Israel and neither side backed down until shots were fired. Like our leaders said “I double dare you” and Israel said “ok, boom”.

Cover up, cover up. This was still projection of cold war power. And LBJ was trying to play that global game.

As to F22 was reading up about it today. One article that was VERY pro F22 let a strange fact slip.

“”Why America’s Adversaries Fear the F-22; What Makes the Raptor Special””L
    https://militarywatchmagazine.com/article/why-america-s-adversaries-fear-the-f-22-what-makes-the-raptor-special

The F-22 remains to this day the most costly fighter to operate in the world by a considerable margin, while its extreme maintenance requirements restrict it to flying a sortie less than once a week

Now if in September 1940 Spitfires and ME-109s needed over a week maintenance between sorties Britain and Germany would STILL be fighting the Battle of Britain!

I also acknowledge that the trained killers in here know more about this stuff than I do.

    🙂
