NCAA College Football Week 11 ‘Steal that Ball!’ Open

If you play the game long enough, you  will get the desired outcome. Too bad the GOPSTERS don’t care to understand that truism. Germany has 83 million people and is finished counting votes that night. AZ has how many people? 400k people in GA voted for the GOP Governor but then split their ticket and voted for commie Warnock against the Georgia Legend Herschel Walker?

Anyway, last week I was 1/3. I bet against the line on the Vols and my Beloved Panthers and got burned. So, down to $1300/1000.

  @  11 Ole Miss
3:30 PM

Nick Saban has 2 losses this season. TWO!!! It’s the END TIMES!!!! Vegas is giving Ole Miss 11 points at home. ‘Bama covers.

  @  6 Oregon
7:00 PM

The Ducks have a lousy pass defense and are favored by 12 at home. W has a damn fine QB and will cover. This is gonna be a loooong game as both teams are pass happy. The over/under on time of game is 4 hours! Bring a lunch.

4 TCU
  @  18 Texas
7:30 PM

OK peeps, something fishy is going on here. TCU is a 7 point dog but are ranked #4 versus a #18. Like I said, I don’t bet with real money, but I have been watching the lines for years and this looks fishy. On paper, TCU should be the favorite by 10. I’ll go with Texas to cover. SOMEBODY knows something and I’m going with them…

This happened. Biden sends 50 Billions to Ukraine. Zelensky puts some of it into the FTX crypto exchange. FTX CEO becomes the biggest Democrat donor during the election cycle.

Summary: Your tax dollars went to buy ads for the Fetterman campaign. Democrats giddy with cash. McCarthy and McConnell suck their thumbs.

I’d think that would be easy to isolate the perp. There is maybe 20 people as potential suspects. Which of them have problems? Of course we still don’t know who the Supreme Court leaker was.

Voting at the polling place solves this.

In the industry they are saying the SEC was maneuvering to give FTX a monopoly with crypto money. The FTX CEO SBF also hired relatives of the man who was the boss of Gensler once.

The Binance exchange did one tweet about the FTX ponzi and apparently put it into collapse. TWitter is tracking a flight of the FTX CEO that is headed to Argentina…

Pollak: Save the January 6th Committee!

Republicans say that the new U.S. House of Representatives majority, which they are likely to control, should immediately disband the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol. I wish to disagree in the strongest possible terms: the work of the committee remains incomplete, and must be allowed to continue, because the American people expect and deserve to know the full truth.
The committee has yet to hear from outgoing Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), who was in charge of security arrangements at the Capitol that day. She should be called to testify, and should be asked to hand over all of her documents, text messages, and phone records pertaining to the Capitol riot. She should be eager to comply, because she cares deeply about the truth, and protecting our democracy.

The committee should also call Vice President Kamala Harris for her unique perspective on political violence. She participated in a Black Lives Matter event outside the White House in May 2020, just hours after rioters injured dozens of federal officers and forced the evacuation of the president to a bunker. She also urged the public to bail out rioters in Minneapolis, some of whom later committed violent crimes.

In addition, the committee should call member Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) for his expertise on conspiracy theories and attempts to reverse elections. He spun the “Russia collusion” theory, which turned out to be false, then worked with a “whistleblower” — whom he hid — to engineer the impeachment of a duly elected president. Schiff also probed the private phone records of innocent people; he should be eager to explain.

There is no reason for the committee not to be renewed. True, four of the current nine members are leaving Congress: Rep Liz Cheney (R-WY) lost her primary; esp. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) was drawn out of his own district; Rep. Elaine Luria (D-VA) was voted out of office; and Rep. Stephanie Murphy (D-FL) retired. But the enabling resolution is still in force, and allows the Speaker to appoint 13 members, eight from the majority.

Incoming Speaker Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) should do just as Pelosi did, and hand-pick the five members of the minority. He could name Reps. Jim Banks (R-IN) and Jim Jordan (R-OH), whom Pelosi excluded, as the chair and vice-chair, respectively. They could hold votes to issue subpoenas, to be enforced by findings of contempt of Congress and referral to the Department of Justice for prosecution.

Let Democrats face exactly the same requirements to which they subjected their political opponents. Let them see if they can withstand the conditions they insisted were fair — the closed-door testimony, the lack of equal legal representation, the intrusive searches of private information, the selective release of information, the one-sided public hearings. Measure for measure, until justice has finally been done and lessons learned.

Finally!!!….Someones talking about the ‘elephant’ in the room!
    ANYONE but McConnell!!!

Well, from what I can put together, the FBI had FOUR moles inside the Proud Boys. The Proud Boys were filmed breaking windows to get into the Capitol on Jan 6. Guess who filmed them? A media group called 1+1 Media. It’s Ukranian. It’s in the tank for Zalensky. Guess who owns it?

The same oligarch that owns Burisma.

Here’s the video of the Proud Boys with the Ukrainian voice heard in the background.

Confirmed to be the Ukrainian language by an American journalist in the Ukraine whom I know.

So is the entire Ukraine war a money laundering gambit? Zalensky asks to join NATO which nobody was interested in – and Putin, quite predictably, invades.

    Putin was baited?

I find this amusing. Unhinged lefties quitting Twitter are storming Mastadon. Apparently they’re acting like jerks there, too.

It’s not entirely the Twitter people’s fault. They’ve been taught to behave in certain ways. To chase likes and retweets/boosts. To promote themselves. To perform. All of that sort of thing is anathema to most of the people who were on Mastodon a week ago. It was part of the reason many moved to Mastodon in the first place. This means there’s been a jarring culture clash all week as a huge murmuration of tweeters descended onto Mastodon in ever increasing waves each day. To the Twitter people it feels like a confusing new world, whilst they mourn their old life on Twitter. They call themselves “refugees”, but to the Mastodon locals it feels like a busload of Kontiki tourists just arrived, blundering around yelling at each other and complaining that they don’t know how to order room service.

Too many links to post so I’ll summarize what I think I know.

Somehow FTX, the crypto thing that just imploded, hid funds in something called Alameda. I don’t know what Alameda is/was but the CEO is/was Sam Bankman-Fried’s girlfriend, Caroline Ellison. (I’ve seen her picture and she’s as dorky looking as you would expect). Bankman-Fried and Ellison are both MIT alums.

Caroline’s daddy is Glenn Ellison, an MIT prof in math/econ. He was once the boss of Gary Gensler when Gensler was at MIT in whatever capacity.

It looks like people have been smelling a rat for awhile. Here are a couple links

Sam Bankman-Fried’s crypto empire ‘was run by a gang of kids in the Bahamas’ who all dated each other

But not to worry. All part of the plan.

Apparently the Kingcobra was only supplied to the Russians during WWII? Once upon a time in New Guines I stumbled onto an Aerocobra parked on an overgrown taxiway in the jungle at Aitepe on the New Guinea North coast west of Weiwak. The name under the cockpit was Lt. Mitchell. The thing that surprised me was the size of the propeller shaft that ran from the engine positioned BEHIND the pilot, between the pilots legs and poked out the front of the airplane where the propeller was located. It was also a tricycle undercarriage airplane and must have been so tail heavy that it was a total nonsense. No wonder they gave the Russians the airplane!

It really looked like a ‘dog’ of an airplane. The cockpit was tiny and the view outside was poor. The jungle road was made of crushed coral and then all of a sudden you were riding your motorbike on tar sealed roads with side hard standing revetments off either side for aircraft parking. The Japanese was just down the coast east between Aitape and Weiwak and was call But Field. The whole field was covered in huge bomb craters full of water and bred masses of mosquitos. We kept away! 🙂

As well as Lt. Mitchell’s Aerocobra there was a 2 engined bomber and a jungle full of broken bits of airplanes, mostly Beaufort bombers and engines. The strip itself was covered in ‘Marsden Matting’ (linked steel sheets that refused to rust???) Amazing place.

I also caught a reflection of a window up a creek East of Aitape (as I was low flying West up the coast as you do!). I reported it in case it was a lost airplane. It turned out to be a mint PBY flying boat up a creek and parked under a jungle canopy. It was eventually salvaged and now rests in an aircraft museum in Auckland NZ

    🙂

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Russia pounded Ukraine’s energy facilities Tuesday with its biggest barrage of missiles yet, striking targets across the country and causing widespread blackouts, and a U.S. official said missiles crossed into NATO member Poland, where two people were killed.

A defiant Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelenskyy shook his fist and declared: “We will survive everything.”

Polish government spokesman Piotr Mueller did not immediately confirm the information from a senior U.S. intelligence official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the situation. But Mueller said top leaders were holding an emergency meeting due to a “crisis situation.”

Polish media reported that two people died Tuesday afternoon after a projectile struck an area where grain was drying in Przewodów, a Polish village near the border with Ukraine.

Neighboring Moldova was also affected. It reported massive power outages after the strikes knocked out a key power line that supplies the small nation, an official said.

Donald Alway, the assistant director in charge of the field office, is the son of Girardi’s former girlfriend and secretary. His mother, Michelle Alway, received hundreds of thousands of dollars from Girardi and his law firm during the mid-1990s, according to court papers.

Relationship Among FTX, Ukraine, and Democrats Sparks Speculation

Is there a questionable relationship between Sam Bankman-Fried’s bankrupt FTX, Ukraine, and the Democrats? In the aftermath of the collapse of the cryptocurrency exchange, new questions are being raised surrounding these connections, from crypto partnerships to the billionaire’s contributions to Democrats.

But is there something behind the curtain or was it a group of young people in over their heads?

It All Begins with ‘Aid for Ukraine’
In March, the Ukrainian government established a crypto donations website, allowing Kyiv to convert digital token contributions into fiat money that would be deposited at the National Bank of Ukraine. The Ukraine government maintained a goal of $200 million. By October, it had raised more than $60 million.

The contributed funds have been used to purchase everything needed for the war effort, such as digital rifle scopes, medical supplies, field rations, fuel, military clothing, and other critical items.

The initiative, known as “Aid for Ukraine,” garnered the support of FTX, staking outfit Everstake, and Ukraine’s Kuna exchange. It has been powered by the Ministry of Digital Transformation.

“At the onset of the conflict in Ukraine, FTX felt the need to provide assistance in any way it could. By setting up payment rails and facilitating the conversion of crypto donations into fiat currency, we have given the Central Bank of Ukraine the ability to deliver aid and resources to the people who need it most,” Bankman-Fried said in a statement in March. “We are grateful for the opportunity to work with Sergey [Vasylchuk] and the Everstake team as they continue to work tirelessly in helping Ukrainians as they suffer from this conflict.”

Days after the launch of the Ukraine–FTX collaboration, U.S. President Joe Biden announced an extra $800 million in security assistance to Ukraine, bringing the total contribution to $2 billion since the start of the administration. In total, it’s estimated that the United States has given more than $60 billion to Kyiv.

While it’s unclear if reports that Ukrainian officials have invested in FTX are accurate, many are seeking an explanation as to whether Ukrainian officials have used funds delivered to Kyiv through FTX to funnel money to Democratic campaigns.

Absolutely. The danger I see is a big GOP split between the never-Trumpers / Swamp and the MAGA / tea paarty crowd, setting up for another dark-horse (dem ala Obama) election win. This time around there’s going to be someone more dangerous than Biden. Maybe even Fetterman.

The strategic intent was to isolate Russia and to destroy it economically. War with Russia was the only logical outcome, aside from expecting Russia to fold early on. The CIA needs to neutralise those Russian nukes by using economic warfare to break Russia. The other option means that eventually Russia will be squeezed into a corner and may for the only option left. The ‘take everyone else with us’ option!

Right now we are balanced between winning a economic war with Russia and goading Russia into, at a minimum, a tactical release of low yield nukes, as a warning against a strategic release, in a ‘Damn the torpedoes full speed ahead ” scenario.

The landers in the Artemis program are supposed to be reusable, and would fly to the moon and wait in orbit for the astronauts to arrive from Earth.

Within the Artemis lunar landing architecture as of April 2021,[7] a NASA Orion spacecraft is planned to be launched by a Space Launch System rocket and rendezvous with a waiting Starship HLS lander in a near-rectilinear halo orbit around the Moon. The crew of Orion would then dock with, and transfer to Starship HLS, which would subsequently depart and descend to the lunar surface. After lunar surface operations, Starship HLS will lift-off from the Moon and return to lunar orbit to rendezvous with Orion. The crew then transfers back to Orion and departs for Earth. Although not confirmed yet, Starship HLS could, in theory, be refueled in orbit to carry more crews and cargo to the surface

The other pilot who is paid less has the video game controller in his right hand.

Question is how do you transition from right seat to captain and still be able to fly the damn thing left handed when you did 4000 hours right handed?

PA Voters File Lawsuit to Delay Certification After Officials Detoured from Counting Center into a Closed Building for 6 Hours on Election Day

Pennsylvania election observers filed a complaint against the Delaware County Board of Elections after county officials took a detour on election night with the county’s ballots and v-drives into a closed building for six hours. Poll watchers were prevented from entering the building at the time.

The county also deleted 194 voter registrations that were deleted after election day whose ballots were counted.

It is now confirmed that the missiles were fired by Ukraine. To pretend it was not another “Ukrainian False Flag” they claimed the missiles were fired at a Russian missile and were not intentional. Forget saving the planet for climate change which is also a natural occurrence, the ONLY way to save the planet is to get rid of every Neocon and politician supporting this ruthless liar and remove them from office. Any politicians who supports Ukraine should be charged with conspiracy to create war crimes.

I agree with Henry Kissinger that Ukraine must relinquish the Donbas. Zelensky tears into Kissinger and pretends Russia wants to invade Europe and this is not 1939. I have had employees in Kyiv and Donestk. I am well aware of how deeply seated the hatred of Russians is embedded in Kyiv. You cannot even bring a bottle of Russian vodka to dinner. Anything Russian is an insult and deeply offends them. You have never seen such prejudice and hatred until you deal with Ukrainians. There is ABSOLUTELY nothing that Zelensky will not say to desperately engulf the entire world in his hatred of Russia.

something tells me we’re on the wrong side of this one.

And now boys and girls…..WTF is this?

The WEF is saying Dan Crenshaw is one of their ‘young global leaders’ but he denies it saying they used his name.

    What does Jack Posobiec say?

EF doesn’t discriminate based on party – it recruits politicians from both sides. This is especially true in the United States. Dan Crenshaw, Gavin Newsom, Adam Kinzinger, Pete Buttigieg, Nikki Haley, Tulsi Gabbard, Texas Congressman Colin Allred, and Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego are all YGLs. If you recognize any relatively young politicians from other nations, chances are they are also YGLs.

For example, Trudeau, Macron, PM of New Zealand Jacinda Ardern, PM of Finland Sanna Marin, PM of Belgium Alexander De Croo and former PM of Georgia Mamuka Bakhtadze are all YGLs, while President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of El Salvador Nayib Bukele and Supreme Leader of North Korea Kim Jong-Un are unspecified WEF members. Though there is no evidence yet that Rishi Sunak – the UK’s newest PM – is a YGL, he is still a WEF member, and former PMs Boris Johnson and Tony Blair are both YGL alumni.

Given the heightened attention on the WEF over the last few years, there have been YGL graduates who denied their enrollment altogether when pressed about it. Crenshaw, for example, claimed that he was never contacted by the WEF and merely named by them as if YGL is an editorial list. But Crenshaw’s claims contradict photos that clearly show YGL as an in-person training seminar and WEF’s own description of the program as follows:

Tulsi Gabbard, too. There’s something about that woman I don’t trust.

Ok really strange thing. Fingers are all kind of connected. When you move a finger it is not muscles in your finger but muscles in your arm.

They all get sort of connected in your wrist.
Try curling your little/pinkie finger and watch what happens.
Tonight after a huge amount of pain and crackling noises i can now operate each finger on my hand independently!

It happened on my right hand first, then when I concentrated on my left hand pain and more pain and yep all fingers operate independently.

Currently having a really spiritual experience watching my thumbs fight my fingers!

Creeping me out, but tomorrow I have to make a video.

Pelosi Makes Major Announcement About Political Future After Democrats Lose House

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Nov. 17 announced she would step down from the House Democrat leadership after Republicans flipped the lower chamber.

“Scripture teaches us that for everything, there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven,” Pelosi said on the House floor in Washington.

“For me, the hour’s come for a new generation to lead the Democratic caucus that I so deeply respect, and I am grateful that so many are ready and willing to shoulder this awesome responsibility,” she added later.

Pelosi, 82, also said that she will remain in Congress.

Pelosi won reelection in the midterms with 84 percent of the vote, easily defeating Republican John Dennis.

During the speech, which frequently drew applause, Pelosi recounted visiting the Capitol for the first time when she was young, with her father Thomas D’Alesandro Jr., a congressman at the time.

“When I was first came to the House floor at 6 years old, never would I have thought that I would go from homemaker to House speaker,” she said.

Pelosi has been the top Democrat in the House since 2003, including several stints as speaker, a position held by a member of the majority.

Pelosi had vowed not to run for speaker again but did not make any promises about being the top Democrat in the House if Democrats were in the minority.

Republicans flipped the House this week and will secure control once the new Congress takes their seats in January 2023.

Pelosi has not endorsed a successor.

Pelosi’s comments came after a report that Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) has chosen not to run for a House Democrat leadership position.

Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.), who has long been rumored as the frontrunner to replace Pelosi, now has one less contender to deal with, Politico reported.

Spokespersons for Schiff, 62, and Jeffries, 52, did not respond to requests for comment.

Jeffries is currently the chairman of the Democrat caucus.

The other Democrat leadership posts are held by Reps. Steny Hoyer (D-Md.), James Clyburn (D-S.C.), and Katherine Clark (D-Mass.).

Hoyer, 83, is the majority leader. Clyburn, 82, is the majority whip. Clark, 59, is the assistant speaker.

Neither Hoyer nor Clyburn have committed to not running for a Democrat leadership position.

Attorney General Merrick B. Garland announced the first-ever Office of Environmental Justice last May along with a series of measures as part of a comprehensive enforcement strategy to secure environmental justice for all Americans.

“Communities of color, indigenous communities and low-income communities often bear the brunt of the harm caused by environmental crime, pollution and climate change,” said Associate Attorney General Vanita Gupta. “Cynthia Ferguson has demonstrated the exact kind of dedication and vision that we need to address these longstanding inequities and I look forward to her leadership of this new office.”

That seems silly. Musks employees seem to like working for him. Unless they don’t perform.

Plus there are big tech layoffs everyone. If you have a job double down on the work.

Excellent. The next time I make it I’m going to add another tablespoon of rosemary and use sea salt instead of kosher

    wut?

    https://brownstone.org/articles/covid-crypto-connection-ftx-and-sbf/

Earlier this year, the New York Times trumpeted a study that showed no benefit at all to the use of Ivermectin. It was supposed to be definitive. The study was funded by FTX. Why? Why was a crypto exchange so interested in the debunking of repurposed drugs in order to drive governments and people into the use of patented pharmaceuticals, even those like Ramdesivir that didn’t actually work? Inquiring minds would like to know.
    .
    .
“Some of the researchers involved in the TOGETHER trial had performed paid services for Pfizer, Merck, Regeneron, and AstraZeneca, all companies involved in developing COVID-19 therapeutics and vaccines that nominally compete with ivermectin.”
    .
    .
The FTX Future Fund’s commitments included $10 million to HelixNano, a biotech start-up seeking to develop a next-generation coronavirus vaccine; $250,000 to a University of Ottawa scientist researching how to eradicate viruses from plastic surfaces; and $175,000 to support a recent law school graduate’s job at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security. “Overall, the Future Fund was a force for good,” said Tom Inglesby, who leads the Johns Hopkins center, lamenting the fund’s collapse. “The work they were doing was really trying to get people to think long-term … to build pandemic preparedness, to diminish the risks of biological threats.”

Tom Inglesby is a fraud and a liar. About 12 years ago he was the lead author on a paper that evaluated the effects of lockdowns during past pandemics. The paper concluded they were at best ineffective and at worst harmful. I posted the paper here and sent it to Rand Paul

McCarthy Used FTX Cash to Defeat Conservatives in 2022

Throughout the midterm campaign season, GOP establishment leader Kevin McCarthy (CA-23) used his Congressional Leadership Fund political machine to inject massive amounts of cash into House races nationwide. In doing so, he targeted GOP primary races and even general elections vs. Democrats, in which America First conservatives, aligned with President Trump, were on the ballot.
    .
    .
McCarthy, The Post reported in their September piece, led a “secretive,” anti-MAGA campaign within the GOP, using the party’s oligarch-funded pocketbook to “systematically weed out GOP candidates who could either cause McCarthy trouble if he becomes House speaker or jeopardizes GOP [establishment] victories.”

“Most” of the money (millions of dollars), reported The Post, “came from Ryan Salame, an executive at cryptocurrency exchange FTX.”

FTX, The Post explained, is “a major donor to both McCarthy’s own operation and to other groups backing McCarthy’s favored candidates.”

    @ eaglesoars:

It creates a cause of action for individuals to sue any person or entity that receives federal funding–which would probably be construed to include tax exemptions–for not complying. Once they lose in court, the IRS can revoke their tax exemption.

That’s about 3-4 moves down the road from losing the case. The commentary makes it seem as tho it is specifically laid out in the bill and it is not.
