The Marmite Open

…he just smiled and gave me a vegemite sandwich…

I’ve never had Vegemite or Marmite. So why not! Let’s get to it.

In order to give this product the best possible chance, I made a fresh loaf of bread, toasted a fresh slice, put on the high fat Amish butter (if yinz don’t have Amish butter, i feel sad for yinz), and then a THIN coating of NZ’s own Marmite. Yep, It’s like tar and smells funky but spreads just fine.

I cut the toast into 4 parts and had the kids try it with me.

Well, the younger twin, FiaFia, said ‘I will never put that in my mouth again!’. The elder twin Vik said, ‘Interesting, but, I’m not a big fan, it’s weird’. The Puti loves it, and so do I. It’s a kick alright.

that with some fresh bread toast, farm eggs, and bacon is breakfast tomorrow!

It’s salty, with a great umami kick. The Puti said it’s like a soy sauce peanut butter. I’ll go with that.

Mrs Coldwarrior will try it when she gets home from work. I’ll update.

cheers, Aussie Infidel!

    God, I am weary………

Biden admin wants to regulate AI by implementing woke initiatives

The Biden administration plans to install artificial intelligence regulations that will center around “civil rights.”

    https://thepostmillennial.com/biden-admin-wants-to-regulate-ai-by-implementing-woke-initiatives?utm_campaign=64466

The Biden administration plans to install artificial intelligence (AI) regulations that will center around “civil rights” and “equal opportunity” in order to combat “unlawful bias,” according to the FTC.

The plans were made public on Tuesday following the release of a joint statement between the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division, the US Equal Opportunity Employment Commission, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

“Today, the use of automated systems, including those sometimes marketed as “artificial intelligence” or “AI,” is becoming increasingly common in our daily lives. We use the term “automated systems” broadly to mean software and algorithmic processes, including AI, that are used to automate workflows and help people complete tasks or make decisions. Private and public entities use these systems to make critical decisions that impact individuals’ rights and opportunities, including fair and equal access to a job, housing, credit opportunities, and other goods and services,” the statement reads.

“These automated systems are often advertised as providing insights and breakthroughs, increasing efficiencies and cost-savings, and modernizing existing practices. Although many of these tools offer the promise of advancement, their use also has the potential to perpetuate unlawful bias, automate unlawful discrimination, and produce other harmful outcomes.”

I have absolutely no idea what this says

I LOVE pink diamonds. Geologically they are really interesting. The color doesn’t come from some mineral but from a distortion in the structure.

To my mind this – The Pink Star – is probably the most beautiful diamond I have ever seen. I don’t know who cut it – I’ve not see this cut before, it’s not standard.

    https://twitter.com/GeologyPage/status/1652870459757854721

The crown looks like maybe a step cut? – and I can’t tell but the pavilion is also cut differently. Whoever did this was extraordinarily brave and beyond talented.

I’m not usually interested in flawless stones because they don’t tell a story about how they were formed and I like geology stories. But this – is exquisitely flawless.

For reference, normally an oval is cut like this. As you can see, the crown is not a step cut it’s a brilliant cut

I don’t know what happened but DeSantis is getting flayed

The reviews are in from DeSantis’ trip to Britain — and they are absolutely brutal.

DeSantis met with titans of British industry in an event co-hosted by Lloyd’s of London — the world’s largest insurance marketplace. And to say they were unimpressed is an understatement.

British business chiefs described DeSantis’ performance as “horrendous” and “low-wattage.”

    But that’s not all.

One U.K. business figure said DeSantis “looked bored” and “stared at his feet.”

Another noted that “nobody in the room was left thinking, ‘this man’s going places’.”

DeSantis’ trip abroad was a complete and utter disaster from start to finish.

I think the UK was his last top after several others, e.g., Israel, so it’s possible he was just exhausted. In which case he needs to fire some people.

For about 4 weeks small dust/chips have been showing up on the top of my washing machine. I wipe it off, it’s back the next day. Termites? No evidence.

I had a carpenter ant infestation in my bathroom that the pest control people nailed. No more ants. What is weird about this is that if wood chips are appearing on the top of my washing machine where are they coming from? There are no ants, no signs from the ceiling – nothing. It’s like magic.

    An example of green.

On my back deck we have a pergola. I built it. It’s made of treated wood. And there is 2×4 screwed in that aren’t treated.

These are for the carpenter bees. They prefer those and are for them to live in. These yuge bees hang out with us and are pretty cool. My girls named ‘them’

They are aggressive against wasps and hornets which we haven’t seen in some years. So far, so good. They use the untreated as they should.

WHO Issues Warning Of ‘Huge Biological Risk’ After Sudanese Rebels Hijack Lab Containing Virus Samples
    by Kelen McBreen

According to the World Health Organization, rebel fighters in Sudan have taken control of a biolab containing various dangerous virus samples.

Fighting between rebel forces and the Sudanese military has been taking place since April 15.

The WHO issued a warning Tuesday, saying the situation is “extremely serious” and that there is a “huge biological risk” now the virus samples are in the hands of the rebel group.

The anti-government fighters allegedly took control of a public laboratory that holds viruses such as polio and measles located in the nation’s capital city Khartoum.

Sudan’s WHO representative Nima Saeed Abid told the press on Tuesday, “This is the main concern: no accessibility to the lab technicians to go to the lab and safely contain the biological material and substances available.”

So biolabs in Ukraine and now, biolabs in Sudan…

Is there any other shady parts of the world that the US has put biolabs that we should be aware of?

Is being unstable and full of corruption a requirement for a US funded biolab?

My favourite old fashioned group. Judith Durumn has the most powerful voice but with perfect pitch… like cut crystal.

This was their first Last performance in Melbourne in ’68. Being one of a bunch of Cadets Aircrew from # 67 Pilots Course at Point Cook naturally we HAD to attend … covertly… as we were all supposed to stay on base during a VERY busy course flying Winjeel trainers. Sooooo.

We gapped the perimeter fence and camouflaged 5 cars in the surrounding bush. On The Seekers Farewell tour we snuck out of barracks got past the fences and headed off in convoy to Melbourne 40 miles away. The Concert… yup this ACTUAL Farewell Seekers’ Concert
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2XR34gwnFMI

was amazing and at half time when the lights came up we noticed that 5 rows behind the VERY short haircuts of 20 Cadet Aircrew say all of our Airforce Instructors and their wives. At the end of the line sat the WOD (AKA In the beginning there was the Word and the Word was WOD and the WOD was god!) The WOD was an ex Grenadier Guardsmen… Warrant Officer Disciplinary and Mrs WOD!

We all crapped ourselves and imagined our flying careers were over! The lights went down and Part 2 was still pretty good but we weren’t really enjoying ourselves as much whilst thinking about the the lead singer, did their curtain calls. Next day all of the Courses were all lined up on the Parade Ground. The WOD strolled along the line stopping in front of each of the 20 malefactors. He said not a word but gave each of us a huge smile.

He knew, that we knew that HE KNEW! Which was almost worse than getting confined to barracks for the next month. Nothing ever happened but we tried harder at everything we did for the rest of the course!

    HEH!

    🙂

And the military wonders why it has a recruiting problem.

Drag performer Harpy Daniels is Navy’s new ‘digital ambassador’ in bid to boost recruitment that’s set to fall short by 8,000

Yeoman 2nd Class Joshua Kelley, whose stage name is Harpy Daniels, announced on TikTok in November that he would be the Navy’s first ‘digital ambassador,’ highlighting his journey from performing on board beginning in 2018 and growing to become an ‘advocate’ for those who ‘were oppressed for years in the service.’

Kelley, who identifies as non-binary, was one of just five active sailors to participate as ‘digital ambassadors’ for the Navy in its ‘efforts to reach a wide range of potential candidates,’ a spokesperson told Daily Caller.

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12039863/U-S-Navy-turning-drag-performer-Harpy-Daniels-digital-ambassador.html

The officer insists he never experienced harassment in the Navy, but when he was scheduled to perform at a diversity, equity and inclusion event at Langley Joint Air Force Base in the summer of 2022, it ’caused an uproar to many conservatives and Christian extremists.’

    extremists. yep.

This is a good read. Should you pull your money from the bank? It goes into several cues you need to look for as the ultimate goal is digital currency and you need to be aware of timing issues.

    https://www.theblaze.com/op-ed/roth-your-biggest-most-urgent-money-fear-answered

First, you are going to have timing cues, so while you must think about your plan, you will get signposts along the way, which could take any amount of time to come to fruition.

Also, if the plan is to destroy “physical” or traditional dollars, how would having access to them today help you? If the government doesn’t want that to be the medium of exchange, let alone a store of value, you will have to come up with a plan to find other things you can use, outside the CBDC, that will be appropriate mediums of exchange and stores of value (this may or may not include gold, silver, and other bartering supplies, among other assets).

In terms of risk management, pulling your dollars today doesn’t seem to address the risk and concern as much as figuring out your plan for conversion.

Since I got a job working on electrically shit about eight years my interest in playing with shit hot state of the art Internet of Things things declined.

Still had a slight interest so bought many Texas Instruments development systems but never really played with them.

Lost my job four years ago and since then never picked up a soldering iron except to repair head phone cords cats bit through.

Today was going through a pile of ” junk ” that is not really junk and discovered 2 Raspberry pi 4s, two 1Tb USB drives, power supplies to match, several USB3 hubs and A shitload of 64Gb USB thumb drives and even more 64Gb SD cards and quite a few SD card readers. All in sealed packages!

Obviously I once had a plan.

The big find was an MSP432E401Y LaunchPad™ development kit for Ethernet SimpleLink™ MCU

As per the procedure I had to go visit my doctor on the Thursday before for a full physical so I was OK for the anesthetic and surgery.

He laughed at me when he saw the reason and said ” Both hands at the same time! You won’t be able to wipe your ass ”

( you got to love the rapport your doctor has with you in small time Iowa where you bartend in a place your doctor eats three times a week )

Yes. First cut a few slits in the meat and insert garlic cloves. S&P. Then dust with flour. You use olive oil, I use bacon fat. If I have to cook the bacon first, that goes in the pot. Once browned, cover with a can (14 oz) of plum tomatoes, cover and keep on a low flame for about forever. When it has about an hour to go, I throw in some potatoes and carrots

Snap is a meal, or what a meal was kept in. Best one I can find is a pdf.

    https://www.ncm.org.uk/app/uploads/2021/06/Snap-Tin-Activity.pdf

Not just for miners, but as the majority of working people in Yorkshire were in coalmines.

    • “Snap” is a Yorkshire dialect word meaning food.
    • A snap tin is a metal container made the same shape as a
slice of bread, which a miner would use to carry his lunch.
    • Traditional miners’ meals may include bread and jam or
    bread and dripping.
    • Their lunch was kept in a metal container to keep it safe from
    mice and rats.
    • The clip on the tin was used to thread the tin onto a belt or
hang it up. ACME was the trade name and it means “the
    best”

Olive oil should not be used for browning, frying or any thing at all except for using it cold on salads and a dressing on cooked food.

Olive oil is destroyed at cooking temperatures.

To fry and saute or other things using heat then peanut oil, walnut, avocado is the best.

as long as it’s extra virgin and cold pressed, it should be ok. a Roast is generally a low temp item anyway.

But yeah, I prefer avacado oil. It doesn’t impart any flavor I may not want and it has the highest smoke point of any oil I know of, around 500 F I think.

That miner’s snap tin brings back memories of my grandfather. Our miners had great big metal lunch boxes that had a domed lid. A carafe/thermos of coffee, sandwich and soup or stew in a smaller thermos. My grandmother ALWAYS put fruit in there, fresh if she could get it, canned if she couldn’t. And she had probably done the canning.

New York Becomes 1st State to Ban Gas Stoves

New York has become the first state in the country to ban natural gas stoves after the state Legislature approved a new state budget that includes a prohibition on fossil fuel combustion in most new buildings starting in 2026.

The final vote followed weeks of what Gov. Kathy Hochul called “very intense” negotiations that led to the May 2 passage of the $229 billion state budget, which includes a ban on gas stoves, furnaces, and propane heating in favor of appliances such as heat pumps and electric stoves.

Republican leaders in the state Senate criticized the measure, saying it would drive up utility bills and housing costs.

Hochul said in an appearance on FOX 5’s “Good Day New York” on May 2 that the passage of the budget caps—a weeks-long process of closed-door talks—involved “a lot of give and take, a lot of strong feelings, a lot of emotion” around topics that included the natural gas ban.

The measure prohibits the installation of fossil fuel equipment in new buildings under seven stories by 2026 and by 2029 in taller ones, effectively requiring all-electric heating and cooking.

There are exemptions for places such as hospitals, manufacturing facilities, and restaurants. Existing buildings are also exempt from the ban.

“Everybody who has a gas stove—enjoy it. Keep your gas stove,” Hochul said. “But new buildings that are going up, they can go electric, they can do heat pumps.”

Extra virgin olive oil is from the first press of olives. Virgin olive oil is the second press.

Then you get cold pressed olive oil which is skweesing what is left, then you get the cheapshit where the smush is heated and the last of the oil is extracted using high temperatures and steam.

Newsmax Announces New Show With Chris Plante

Newsmax will launch a new prime-time show hosted by Chris Plante beginning on Monday, May 8, at 9 p.m. ET.

“Chris Plante The Right Squad” will be an exciting panel show led by Plante and will include Newsmax veteran Jenn Pellegrino along with three other regular panelists.

The show marks a major new addition to the Newsmax lineup that begins each night with Greta Van Susteren’s “The Record,” followed by “Rob Schmitt Tonight,” and “Eric Bolling The Balance.”

    https://www.newsmax.com/newsmax-tv/newsmax-chris-plante-the-right-squad/2023/05/04/id/1118548/

The article says Chris’s father is Bill Plante, the CBS guy. That’s not quite correct. Chris Plante’s biological father died very young at 38 yrs or so from a heart attack. I think Chris was still an infant. I’ve forgotten his last name, it was Basque. Bill Plante later married Chris’s mom and Bill adopted Chris.

    @ eaglesoars:

It is crucial to acknowledge that Michelle Obama has previously stated that she has no desire to pursue a presidential bid. In a November 2022 interview, after clearly stated, “I detest” the mere question of whether or not she’s running. She said bluntly, “No, I’m not going to run.”

That said, a lot has changed since November of 2022. The world is on the brink of war, the banks are failing at historic rates, inflation hasn’t improved despite draconian efforts from the Federal Reserve, China is openly expanding its BRICS coalition to challenge the U.S. Dollar and the Biden administration has been haunted by unprecedented foreign policy failures.

And what sane person believes that Michelle Obama is going to do a better job on any of those issues than Biden?

You have NO IDEA Eagles just how widespread amongst Five Eyes nations security alphabet agencies, this rot has spread. When senior agency and director level leaders get ‘ash-canned’ just for doing their jobs efficiently, by political appointees covering for their traitorous political mates. Right up at the top of the chain. And I do mean TOP, plus Cabinet level traitors playing for the other side. This is three or four generations deep and has spread ubiquitously throughout Western governance, both at Senior Political and Permanent Secretary level.

Houston is a LOT more humid than eastern Tennessee. I considered Texas as a place to retire to but decided we simply couldn’t tolerate the weather. Florida excluded on same grounds. Where we are now has weather almost identical to where we came from. But today, they’re even colder than we are.

Cold you can kind of make up for by putting on warm cloths and making a hot steamy cup of Bovril. ( That stuff CW was talking about. Half a teaspoon of Bovril in a mug of hot water is an awesome drink. Served in vending machines in UK )

Heat is no escape. Walked to store at 7am today for beer and smokes. It is cool then. Was joking in store with buddies saying “It is going to be hot today! Stay hydrated!” as they were also buying beer.

One laughed and said “Hey they say we are going to have a shower this afternoon! ” We all really laughed the “oh fuck” laugh.

On a hot day a slight shower then the sun is back puts the humidity at 100%

This is my grandparents’ house. It was a duplex, they lived on the left side, Granny’s brother lived on the right. It has since been gutted and turned into a single house.

    https://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/M8273792170

The bathroom is exactly as I remember.

The room beyond the kitchen (pics 12 & 13) is the sun porch

This doesn’t show the back yard which was about the size of a playpen.

It had 2 bedrooms, 1 bath. “Shotgun” layout. Walk straight thru. Living room, dining room, bedroom, bath on the left, next bedroom, kitchen, sun porch.

How my grandparents raised 3 kids in that place I have no idea. They must have been on top of each other.

For the lot size to be over 6k feet now means somebody acquired the lots on the other side of the back fence.

Any excuse to eat Lemonade scones with LOTS of strawberry jam and lashings of whipped cream whilst watching the Man who wanted to be a used Tampax get crowned!

    🙂

This is a can NOT fail (as long as you don’t fold it more than 8 times) Also use large quantities of jam and whipped cream on top.

    https://www.recipetineats.com/lemonade-scones/

Don’t scrimp on the Jam and get a Large bottle of cream.

~ half a Pint for the making of the scones mixed with ~half a pint of Sprite (AKA Lemonade in OZ or similar NOT what yanks call Lemonade!) plus Self Raising Flour (In the States you may have to make your own (2 Teaspoons of baking powder per cup of plain flour)

Just sieve the Self Raising flour into a bowel, mix the 1/2 pint cream and 1/2 pint of ‘lemonade together and pour it into the flour. CAREFULLY fold it all together with a large flat knife or spoor (DO NOT OVER MIX …. NO MORE THAT 8 folds in all ) flatten the dough out ~ 1″ thick on a board and use a glass to cut out the shapes. DO NOT TWIST JUST PRESS and Lift the scones out. Place on an oven tray and cook at 220C or about 310F until slightly brown and risen.

Eat while still warm with huge lashings of whipped cream and strawberry jam!

    Enjoy!

Ahhh ya don’t need a scones pan girl!

Just don’t touch the edges of the scones and let them ‘kiss’ the scones around them to make them rise just that little bit more. Then when they are still warm break off a perfectly formed scan lather with a dollop of strawberry jam and a LARGE dollop of whipped cream

    Enjoy!

Well, it was lovely. Charles and Camilla both looked very tired, so did Catherine. All the ladies wore white under their robes. Jill managed to look presentable except her hair looked like a bale of hay. She wore blue and her grand daughter, Finn, wore yellow. Quite a few people noted that together they mirrored the colors of the Ukrainian flag, which I would not have caught. Harry, the little prick, put on a ‘class clown’ show that was stupid and graceless, which is par for the course where he’s concerned.

The only advice I’ve seen is to distribute your money to various accounts to be no more than the FDIC insurance limit, currently at $250k, so that you will get your money replaced by the gov’t.

I’m sorry – who trusts the gov’t these days? And how long would THAT take anyway? 6 mos? A year? People have to eat and pay bills. We’ll all be on a freaking barter system before the FDIC gets its act together.

    Newsom figures out another grift

California borrowed approximately $20 billion from the federal government to cover unemployment benefits during the pandemic, and with Gov. Gavin Newsom’s recent decision to not pay it back, employers are now saddled with the expense, according to experts.

“The state should have taken care of the loans with the COVID money it received from the government in 2021,” Marc Joffe, policy analyst at the Cato Institute—a public policy think tank headquartered in Washington, D.C.—told The Epoch Times.

In the proposed 2023–2024 budget, $750 million was allocated to start paying down the loans, but Newsom made changes to the plan in January and withdrew the funding.

The Epoch Times’ request for comment from Newsom’s office was not returned on deadline.

The decision leaves businesses in the state responsible for the loans—as mandated by federal regulations—so the federal unemployment tax rate of .6 percent is set to increase by .3 percent annually, starting in 2023, until the loan is extinguished.

“California is just not really an employer-friendly state,”

    https://www.theepochtimes.com/california-defaults-on-18-6-billion-debt-now-businesses-have-to-pay_5246637.html?welcomeuser=1

The article doesn’t say what Newsom decided to do with the money but it does address all the fraud

This is a very good – if terrifying – read

“Where Else Do You Go Besides Gold And Silver?”

    https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/where-else-do-you-go-besides-gold-and-silver

“The blowoff valve is the value of the currency and the easiest measure of that is gold,” Lepard adds.

We also discussed the regional banking crisis. “How is it that anyone isn’t freaking out that the Fed is basically bailing out the FDIC? The FDIC is, in essence, insolvent,” Andy Schectman asked me. “They’re going to blow up the regional banks.”

“Everyone is leaving the regional banks because Janet told us they won’t be safe”

We also discussed the state of the Fed and the global economy.

“The Fed is really playing with fire with this tight monetary policy. They are solving the problem in the short term but compounding the problem in the long term. They’re going to be forced into yield curve control,” Larry adds. “The next QE will take the Fed’s balance sheet from $9 trillion to $25 trillion.”

“Hyperinflation occurs when everybody becomes convinced that there is no way out other than printing the currency,” he adds. “I think it’s kind of inevitable. Everyone can read the signals and the signals are going to be there.”

We talked about how the BRICS nations are trying to move away from the U.S. dollar. “When you look at countries that have expressed interest in joining BRICS, they all have substantial gold holdings,” Andy told me about the global economy. “The numbers are increasing among those who want to join, there’s over 60 countries they have lined up in a queue [to join BRICS].”

“I do believe it’ll be a Sunday night. OPEC, the BRICS nations, Saudi Arabia – they come out and say on a Sunday night, we’re taking other currency for oil – and everything blows up Monday morning. It’s a tsunami of dollars,” Andy concluded. “The pieces are being put into place right now. Nobody is going to have time to react.”

“Why the hell would Central Banks be buying more gold now than ever? They’re frontrunning. They don’t care about the technicals, they’re using the Western suppression of gold prices to de-dollarize. What does that look like when the world completely sheds dollars because they no longer need them to buy oil?”

Kentucky Derby favorite Forte was pulled from the race on Saturday by order of state racing commission veterinarians who found the colt unfit to race following an examination.

The Washington Post reported that co-owner Mike Repole said veterinarians were concerned about the horse’s bruised right foot. It was reported Thursday that Forte could have been injured when the colt took a misstep while galloping, but worries had been downplayed by Forte’s team.

It has been a difficult week at Churchill Downs. Four horses died in six days this week leading into Saturday night’s Derby. Two reportedly collapsed and died after racing last Saturday. Two others were euthanized due to injuries the horses received — one during competition last Saturday and one during training Thursday.

Just an observation on how really stupid and uninformed many people are.

You often see people on Twitter commenting and criticizing and taking a position on a subject they do not really understand or know the background of.

An example, and I picked a non race related, non political subject.

The Red Arrows flypast at the Coronation.

Quite a few, in fact very many complained it was boring! Saying ” couldn’t they at least looped the loop or wiggled their wings or something? ”

Some piloty people here may back me up, or laugh at me, but flying a single engine aircraft or hellicopter ofer a very large and densely populated area is frowned upon.

And when it IS allowed you don’t fuck around….

Yep. The Red Arrows, like all military aerobatic teams consist of members of the active service. The pilots are chosen and do a one year secondment. From the nine then one pilot does a second year as team leader.

It is a recruitment tool, and as I kind of said does not really cost much. The pilots, and ground crew need to be current.

As to the display, well I do not really think in modern air warfare nine aircraft would fly into a battle in a diamond formation less than six feet apart!

He commented that only helicopters did the flypast ( except for the Reds.. )

He really had a job when he left the Royal Navy. He spent two years flying air ambulance helicopters.

On 13 July 2015, William began working full-time as a pilot with the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) based at Cambridge Airport, which he felt was a natural progression from his previous search-and-rescue role.[92][93] He donated his full salary to the EAAA charity.[93] William required a civil pilot’s licence and further training before being permitted begin his role.[93] He underwent part of his training as an at Norwich Airport.[94] William described working irregular shifts and dealing mostly with critical care cases.[95] He also discussed the impact of witnessing intensive trauma and bereavement on his mental health and personal life.[96] The BBC has written that William was “exposed to the National Health Service in a way that no other senior royal has been or possibly ever will be.”[97]

William left his position with EAAA in July 2017 to assume full-time royal duties.[98][97] After supporting an anniversary campaign for London’s Air Ambulance Charity in 2019, he became the charity’s official patron in March 2020.[99] In May 2020, he granted permission to the charity to use Kensington Palace’s private lawn to refuel during the COVID-19 pandemic.[100] To mark Air Ambulance Week 2020, he wrote a letter thanking air ambulance workers, stating his “profound respect” for the community, particularly during the “immeasurably difficult” outbreak.[101][102] In February 2023, he became patron of the Wales Air Ambulance charity.[103][104]

When I pointed out that they had to wait for the storm to leave the area, rather than flying through it to get there, their answer was that the helicopters should have been pre-positioned on the ground prior to the storm’s arrival.

    All of that is true.

I flew a U-206 in New Guinea for 18 months. Flying 19 year old wounded out of the bush after contacts with the Indonesian military was bad enough. At least they went into battle with their eyes open. It was the kids that REALLY got to me. Having 4 year old ‘Patrick’ die on the floor of my aircraft from Tetanus, whilst attempting to clear the ridge of the Kilifas Gap with him struggling for every breath as we climbed, really gutted me. Flying toddlers with leprosy to hospital on the coast, because they had rolled into a fire and were terribly burned, because they had no feeling in their arms and legs due to the leprosy, was heartbreaking. I can still see little Patrick lying on the aircraft floor after I landed in Vanimo, clear as if it happened yesterday. I can totally understand Prince William being effected by what he saw when operating as a chopper pilot on evacuation runs. Stuff like that burns itself into your brain and you NEVER forget.

I believe that the US administration was just looking to push the envelope regarding the position of Christians in general and Catholics in particular. It appears that there is a’ cold war’ that has been launched between the Biden Administration and Christians in general as the woke Biden administration attempt to ramp up attacks on all Christian groups ,but particularly against conservative Catholics. Biden’s government and the current Pope seem aligned against conservative Christians and are not holding back from attacking them using the alphabet agencies in these attacks. Currently it’s ‘the camel’s nose under the tent flap’, but any perceived lack of push back from Christians and in particular Catholics, will be followed up with stronger attacks from alphabet agencies.

    Nuremberg laws

Annabelle Lee died 10 hours after receiving the MMR, DTaP, varicella and half of a Flu shot.
Her mother took her shopping afterwards and said she was grouchy. When they returned home she laid her down to relax for the night and watch cartoons.

    Her mother’s words…

She was quiet, she was asleep. No sounds except the low sound of the cartoons. No cries, no whines, no groans, no screams, nothing. Nothing.

It was 11 something, I felt in her packnplay at her diaper, it was wet. I picked her up, she was facedown. It all went so wrong so fast. I screamed for her dad.

I don’t recall any color even being gone from her face, she didn’t look dead. I called 911, we gave her cpr. We caused vomit to come up, it was all over us. It was all over me, I still taste it. I will never ever get that taste out of my mouth. I ran outside. Her dad kept giving her cpr. I just laid outside in my driveway and screamed. A cop was trying to get me up, I couldn’t move.

I saw her rushed from the house into an ambulance. She was missing a sock. I was missing a sock. I refuse to think that was just coincidence. We both lost our socks in the commotion.

I remember asking a cop that was at my door while we were waiting on my inlaws to pick us up to go to the hospital if it was bad. If hed ever seen any baby survive.
    “It’s bad.”
Shuffled us into this room at childrens, I just pushed myself up against a dresser. The nurse that came in was pregnant, and I was furious. It took forever. It might have only been 5 mins but it took forever for some doctor to come in. They tried to start her heart a few times, with adrenaline I think. It didn’t work. She was gone. Their was nothing they could do.

    The first question I asked.
Could shots have killed her? She just got http://shots.It’s not even been 10 hours since she got the shots, did the shots kill her? What happened!?
That doctor lied to my face. Any doctor knows that vaccines can kill people. She didn’t know what had happened in her body, she just said no. She reassured me it wasn’t the shots. Again and again. To be honest, she made me feel stupid for even questioning the shots. Just like many doctors do. Thats the right thing to do, vaccines. The greater good, nothing bad happens, the risk is minimal. Lies, it’s all just a lie.

I didn’t want to see her, I regret it sometimes, but most of the time I know it was right. She was gone, and I didn’t want to remember her like that. I didn’t let anyone else go see her either, I didn’t want ANYONE to see her like that, to have those images. I told my mom she didn’t want to see what I saw. I’ll never really know if my parents went back to see her, I left before they did.

The doctor said her fever was 114 degrees. So within 30 mins she went from normal temperature, alive, to dead with a 114 degree temperature. That’s not Sids.

    SUDC
Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood is what they call it. SIDS for 12mo +. It’s a crapshoot, it’s a catchall. Truthfully, it’s lazy. That is what the coroner told me it was ruled as of that night. So I asked him. Was it the shots? He said, “It’s very suspicious she got shots and died so soon after, but I will not know anything until lab reports and tox screens come back”. He doesn’t recall saying that, but I recall him saying that, perfectly to me.
    And she was gone.

Neely is the guy who was killed by another passenger on the NYC subway in a chokehold.

Neely was INFAMOUS for trying to shove people off the platform in front of trains.

Which I guess could be called subway performance

Trump is likely going to be indicted three more times this year — Fulton County plus two criminal indictments from Jack Smith and DOJ. This means President Trump will be facing four criminal trials in 2024, and if Julie is correct, he could possibly be sitting in prison for the next 12 months awaiting trial.

[the guy on the left looks like somebody just dug him up for the photo op]

ISLAMABAD – The Taliban agreed with China and Pakistan to extend the Belt and Road Initiative to Afghanistan, potentially drawing in billions of dollars to fund infrastructure projects in the sanctions-hit country.

Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang and his Pakistani counterpart Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met in Islamabad on Saturday and pledged to work together on Afghanistan’s reconstruction process including taking the US$60 billion (S$80 billion) China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) to the Taliban-ruled nation.

“The two sides agreed to continue their humanitarian and economic assistance for the Afghan people and enhance development cooperation in Afghanistan, including through extension of CPEC to Afghanistan,” according to a joint statement issued by Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry following the meeting.

As far as tech goes we lost SkyTV because a cyclone blew through in Feb. The antennae got pushed off signal and it took SkyTV’s ‘contractor technician 3 goes to actually arrive and they were going to charge me for the wind misaligning their bloody antennae. I bitched so much about not having their ‘service’ for almost a month and then getting charged for them not providing their contracted signal, that they just told me to go away and they’d absorb the $90 charge, after I told them that the Customers’ Guarantee Tribunal could sort it out. The CGT almost always finds against big corporates and we all know how it was going to play out!

The ONLY thing we financed when we moved in was a new HVAC system. The house was 13 yrs old, the lifetime of these systems is about 15. But the company we used had a deal with Wells Fargo, 5 years no interest. We will pay it off in 2.5 yrs, no interest charges. This was in the middle of the supply chain crisis and we thought if the system fails in the middle of summer and nobody can get parts, the temps are 90 F, we have 2 dead dogs. So we replaced the whole shebang.

CA Gov. Newsom declines to back reparations checks, says slavery’s legacy about ‘more than cash payments’

FIRST ON FOX: California Gov. Gavin Newsom declined to endorse the cash payments – which could reach as high as $1.2 million for a single recipient – recommended by his reparations task force, telling Fox News Digital that dealing with the legacy of slavery “is about much more than cash payments.”

“The Reparations Task Force’s independent findings and recommendations are a milestone in our bipartisan effort to advance justice and promote healing. This has been an important process, and we should continue to work as a nation to reconcile our original sin of slavery and understand how that history has shaped our country,” Newsom said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

While the Democratic governor applauded the task force’s work, he declined to endorse any specific recommendations, though he pledged to continue to “advance systemic changes that ensure an inclusive and equitable future for all Californians.”

The heirloom tomatoes go in Saturday, so do the death peppers.

    The cycle continues

Continuing thoughts on young children getting vaccines then waking up dead next day.

I put in a request to a medical professional I know for information about vaccines in new born yesterday but no reply yet.

In grown up people getting vaccines you have to fill out a form and on it it asks about allergies. Eggs, yeast and latex spring tomind.

My question is how do you know what a baby is allergic to?

Do allergies develop later in life?

I will use peanut allergy as an example ( yeah I know, no peanuts in vaccine, yet! )

Peanut allergic reactions are real and a killer. On an aircraft if someone in row 3 seat B opens a bag of peanuts then someone allergic to them in row 34 seat D five seconds later turns blue, clutches their throat, can’t breath and falls into the aisle and flops about like a dying fish!

My question is, what happens when a baby s exposed to something they are allergic to? Or does allergy develop over time?

Using peanuts as an example again. Is a baby born with an allergy to nuts?

    How is t detected?

Scenario is a mother takes home a new born. Baby is sleeping so mother makes a well deserved snack of PB and J sandwich.

Baby starts crying, mother puts down sandwich and goes to hug the baby.

    One dead baby coming up!

    @ Possum:

I had a roommate whose nephew was born allergic to EVERYTHING. The only thing this baby could eat was rabbit and broccoli. I forget how they fed him when he was an infant, but I remember she couldn’t even breast feed him. The docs assured them that he would grow out of it and I assume he did but for the first 2 years it was a bloody nightmare.

Soros Prosecutor’s Staffer, Dem Candidate In Violence-Tinged Group That Plotted Against Conservative Parents

“Someone gonna get hurt on their side and I hope I get to do it.”
    .
    .
Calling themselves the “Loudoun Love Warriors,” the group chat included a campaign staffer for the county’s Soros-backed prosecutor, a consultant for its Democrat sheriff candidate, and the board members of a gay advocacy group. The activists were based in Loudoun County, an area just outside Washington, D.C.

The group chat administrators were Andrew Pihonak, a campaign staffer for county prosecutor Buta Biberaj, who was narrowly elected with the help of $850,000 from George Soros; Heather Gottlieb, who said she met weekly with Biberaj; Meredith Ray, a board member of Loudoun 4 All, a group that tried to stop the recall of school board members following the coverup of a rape by a skirt-wearing male student; and Tori Truesdale, an organizer for Students Demand Action, an anti-gun and Democrat voter drive group bankrolled by former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

The Love Warriors spent weeks seeking to destroy the life of a 65-year old private citizen after falsely accusing him of saying he wanted to kill gays.

Well, if so, this may be why. AOC is PISSED

CNN should be ashamed of themselves.

They have lost total control of this “town hall” to again be manipulated into platforming election disinformation, defenses of Jan 6th, and a public attack on a sexual abuse victim.

The audience is cheering him on and laughing at the host.

This falls squarely on CNN. Everyone here saw exactly what was going to happen. Instead they put a sexual abuse victim in harm’s way for views. This was a choice to platform lies about the election & Jan 6th w/ no plan but to have their moderator interrupted without consequence.

This is Laura Loomer who I absolutely cannot abide. What I’m about to copy/paste is in ONE tweet. Have no clue how she got past the 240 character limit

EXCLUSIVE: I have just come into possession of the 3 page resignation letter that the Ye24 treasurer Patrick Krason sent to Ye (Kanye West) on May 8, 2023, following my expose of MTG’s use of Milo Yiannopoulos as a foreign operative to set President Trump up while he was also working as Ye’s campaign manager.

The letter specifically cites the treasurer’s concern about a possible criminal FEC violation and reimbursement by Congresswoman
    @RepMTG
and actions committed by her foreign National staffer , Milo Yiannopoulos, who was simultaneously working for MTG while also serving as Ye’s campaign manager, which is stated in this letter.

This is a shocking and damming resignation letter that provides further evidence that
    @RepMTG

    @mtgreenee
set President Trump up with her campaign funds.

    Today, her office lied to
    @RollingStone
and said that it was “gross negligence” carried out by Milo, and that Milo wasn’t working for her at the time of the acquisition of the Ye24 domain. My reporting, along with this letter which has been exclusively given to me by a source, contains a statement by Ye’s own campaign treasurer that Milo was simultaneously working for MTG, and as Ye’s campaign manager on November 22, 2022, which is the same day of the infamous Mar a Lago dinner, & the same day MTG’s campaign purchased the Ye24 domain for over $7,000 and registered it to Milo’s cell phone number, in the name of Isaiah Wartman, her campaign manager and general consultant who is allegedly paying Milo under the table as a subcontractor for MTG.

This is both an FEC violation and a CRIMINAL ACT, which some election law experts have called a Federal felony.

MTG should serve jail time for this crime(s), and I am willing to provide all evidence and documentation necessary to any agency so that MTG, Milo, and anyone else on her payroll who participated in this set up of President Trump is held accountable for their brazen criminal activity.

‘Gross Negligence’: MTG Camp Blasts Yiannopoulos for Kanye Website Fiasco
The bizarre saga of how Marjorie Taylor Greene’s campaign paid for the website of a potential Trump rival

    https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-features/marjorie-taylor-greene-campaign-buy-ye24-1234732323/

The revelation that Kanye West campaign insider Milo Yiannopoulos charged the Marjorie Taylor Green congressional campaign $7,000 for the purchase of Ye24.com — the website of the Nazi-loving rapper’s prospective 2024 presidential campaign — is rotten news for the MAGA lawmaker from Georgia.

Wednesday morning, Greene sent out a statement from her consultant Isaiah Wartman, whose credit card Yiannopoulos used to buy Ye24.com: “Congresswoman Greene knew nothing about the gross negligence made by a vendor and is being unfairly attacked as a result,” Wartman said. “The campaign was told the purchase was refunded. This wasn’t the case.”

The damage control by MTG’s camp indicates the Georgia congresswoman may be worried about blowback. The payment to purchase a rival campaign’s website is damaging to Greene — a supposed Trump loyalist — both legally and politically, experts and sources tell Rolling Stone.

As a legal matter, there are strict limits on what one campaign can donate or gift to another, currently $2,000 a year under federal law. The purchase of a $7,000 website for Ye by the Greene campaign, executed by former “summer intern” Yiannopoulos, exceeds that limit by a factor of more than three.

“That is on its face an excessive, prohibited contribution,” says Saurav Ghosh, the Director of Federal Campaign Finance Reform for the Campaign Legal Center. “Whether Marjorie Taylor Greene or her senior staffers knew about it, the value was well in excess of the amount that one campaign can legally contribute to another campaign.”

As a political matter, the purchase of a vital campaign asset for a likely rival to Donald Trump is giving Greene’s detractors inside the MAGA movement fresh ammunition. A source friendly with the former president tells Rolling Stone that insiders are already grumbling about Greene’s links to the Ye-boosting Yiannopoulos.

The strange saga of the purchase of Ye24.com began to emerge last week. The far-right former GOP congressional candidate Laura Loomer tweeted redacted receipt images for the Nov. 22, 2022 purchase of the URL in an auction from the domain registrar GoDaddy.

The transaction date is notable. It’s the same date that Trump infamously dined at Mar-a-Lago with Ye and the white-nationalist Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes. Yiannopoulos later bragged that he’d orchestrated the event — a PR disaster for the former president — as an elaborate troll “to make Trump’s life miserable.”

The unredacted receipt image, reviewed by Rolling Stone, shows an American Express transaction for $7,020.16 charged by GoDaddy to an American Express card in the name of Wartman, the campaign consultant to Greene, but listing the cell phone number of Yiannopoulos. According to the GoDaddy receipt, the extraordinary sum for the website included $7,000 for the auction purchase, plus transfer and domain protection fees.

The “Greene for Congress” campaign, on the same day, recorded a GoDaddy translation with the Federal Election Commission, for the exact amount shown on the Ye24.com receipt — down to the penny, $7,020.16 — booked as a “domain registration and hosting” expense.

Yet on that same November day, the Kanye 2020 campaign also reimbursed Yiannopoulos for a domain transfer payment in an even larger amount — $9,955. (An insider in the Ye camp believed the higher charge may have included an additional domain.)

The Daily Beast was the first news outlet to publish details of the fishy website transactions on Tuesday. On Monday evening, Politico had teased them in a report on the recent resignation of Kanye 2020’s treasurer Patrick Krason, writing that Krason’s private resignation letter to the Ye campaign had raised concerns about potential campaign-finance violations by Yiannopoulos. Those included, Politico wrote, “an expense for a digital asset where Yiannopoulos allegedly sought reimbursement from both Kanye 2020 and the campaign of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.” (Krason did not respond to interview requests.)

Yiannopoulos vigorously denies any wrongdoing, telling Rolling Stone in a statement: “I charge nearly forty grand a month for my services. If I ever decide to steal from someone (and I never will), it will be for more than ten thousand.”

A notorious far-right political operative whom the Anti-Defamation League has labeled “a misogynistic, racist, xenophobic, transphobic troll,” Yiannopoulos had been advising Ye during his late-2022 antisemitic blitz, but was expelled from the rapper’s orbit around the time that Ye appeared on Alex Jones’ show to declare his love for Hitler. (FEC records show Yiannopoulos was paid $40,000 for his work.)

But in recent days, Yiannopoulos has returned to the Ye camp to become the political director of the prospective 2024 bid, which is still operating under the banner of the Kanye 2020 campaign. Yiannopoulos has attempted to seize exclusive control of the reigns by demanding the resignation of Fuentes and other Ye associates. (Rolling Stone reported last week on the “Mean Girls” turmoil that has ensued.)

In Yiannopoulos’ version of events, the billing of Greene’s campaign for the Ye24.com site was an honest mistake. In his previous work for Greene, Yiannopoulos had set up a website for her podcast, and the credit card used to pay for that site remained active in his GoDaddy account. When it came time to pay for the Ye24.com domain, the staffer Yiannopoulos allegedly tasked with the purchase chose the same Amex.

Wartmans’s statement offers a similar sequence of events: “An individual previously contracted by my company had added a campaign card to their web hosting account to make legitimate campaign purchases relating to their duties during their tenure. This individual erroneously used the previously saved card for an inadvertent and unauthorized purpose.”

Rolling Stone was sent images of receipts that purport to show a replacement transaction on a different credit card by Yiannopoulos, processed two days later on Nov. 24, 2022. On his Telegram account Tuesday, Yiannopoulos asserted that “the wrong card was allegedly accidentally charged for 24 hours.”

The challenge with this notion of a second credit card transaction? There is no indication in the “Greene for Congress” FEC records reviewed by Rolling Stone that the $7,020.16 GoDaddy purchase was ever reversed. Pressed on this discrepancy, Yiannopoulos indicated skeptics would have to take his word. Wartman’s statement indicates the refund was never made.

Campaign finance experts suspect more than an innocent mistake at play. “For Milo Yiannopoulos, it seems like embezzlement — what under the law is called ‘conversion to personal use’ of the Kanye West campaign’s funds,” says Ghosh of the Campaign Legal Center. “In essence, he was getting reimbursed for something that he didn’t pay for.”

As for the Greene campaign? Ghosh says the money trail talks louder than any excuses. “They might argue, as grounds for mitigation, that this was an unauthorized transfer,” he says. “But the fact is they made an excessive contribution, and that still might be grounds for the FEC to impose a fine.” Wartman vowed in his new statement that the “clerical error will be corrected” in federal records “on the disclosure report covering the time period where the refund is attributed.”

Examining campaign disclosures, the $7,020.16 GoDaddy transaction sticks out like a sore thumb. The Greene campaign had more than 50 other transactions for “domain registration and hosting” during the ‘22 cycle. But none of the rest of those topped $330.

Politically, Greene now faces consequences from something far scarier than the Federal Elections Commission. The congresswoman, long a MAGA darling who has even been mentioned as a potential 2024 running mate, will have to explain to Trump World how her campaign’s money ended up buying the campaign website of a potential spoiler in 2024.

‘Ye’ is apparently Kanye West. Who would be as much a spoiler as I would.

    These people are children.
