Ah-nold’s “legendary” past finally catches up with him. Turns out that the former Governor of California indeed messed around on Maria and fathered a child out of wedlock.
Here’s an excerpt from a statement he issued to the Los Angeles Times:
“After leaving the governor’s office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago.I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry.
“I ask that the media respect my wife and children through this extremely difficult time…While I deserve your attention and criticism, my family does not.”
And rightfully so, you scumbag! For this, he deserves nothing less than the forfeiture of his career. Then again, the “Reverend” Jesse Jackson kept right on going….

What’s worse…a Klingon rendition of Hamlet’s Soliloquy (taH pagh taHbe’)…or a performance of Terminator The Second? In Shakespearean dialog mind you!

We adhered to strict guidelines regarding the usage of Shakespeare’s works. Each line and phrase is taken directly from folios printed by or before 1685, and many extended sections of dialogue are composed of individual lines from separate works. Only proper nouns and pronouns were subject to change, as dictated by the plot. In these instances, all proper nouns are supplanted only by other proper nouns, and all pronouns by other pronouns. In some cases, corresponding verb tenses are modified. These practices enabled us to accurately retell the story of Terminator 2: Judgment Day while remaining true to the words of Shakespeare in form (if less so in intent).
The independent group has already raised enough funds to put forth the production. MASSIVE KUDOS to these folks if they can pull it off. Hopefully, they would also invite Ah-nold himself just so he can watch!
I would gladly pay the airfare and theater ticket to see this production…that is, IF I had the funds. Perhaps some of our Blogmocracy members in The Volunteer State might go and check this out…and report back to us?
They Won’t Be Back

Speaking of married couples…former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife Maria Shriver have announced their separation after 25 years of marriage. Their statement:
“This has been a time of great personal and professional transition for each of us. After a great deal of thought, reflection, discussion and prayer, we came to this decision together. At this time, we are living apart while we work on the future of our relationship.
“We are continuing to parent our four children together. They are the light and the center of both of our lives. We consider this a private matter and neither we nor any of our friends or family will have further comment. We ask for compassion and respect from the media and the public.”
[shrugs shoulders] Oh well. Now the speculation begins….
