I remember cruising around a lot in this rockin’ mobile (in my mind, in the basement, in my underwear) with the (imaginary) wind blowing through my flattop, and every station on the (pretend) radio playing either “WipeOut,” “Beechwood4-5789,” or “Witch Doctor,” with NO commercials.

I’m guessing that this conspicuous convergence of 80-proof pure undiluted talent happened in 1978. Back then, who would have guessed which one would live the longest? Not I. Hell, when Keith Richards swaggers and reels off to Rock and Roll Heaven, the coroner will need to don a hazmat suit to examine the corpse. At least embalming won’t be necessary.
