Qaddafi offered to recognize Israel

Col. Mumar Qaddafi is on the run from the Islamist rebels who have overthrown him. When he was still in charge, Qaddafi offered to recognize Israel and go speak in Jerusalem like Sadat did. He wanted Israel to convince NATO to back off. The problem is Israel ha no clout with NATO and the Obama regime hates that nation.

Saif al-Islam Gaddafi offered to sign a peace treaty with Israel and negotiate captive soldier Gilad Schalit’s release in exchange for reduced pressure from NATO and Europe on Libya, Deputy Minister for Galilee and Negev Development Ayoub Kara (Likud) told The Jerusalem Post on Sunday.

“Saif al-Islam and I have mutual acquaintances in Austria. Long before the whole mess in Libya, I asked them to talk to him about Gilad Schalit, because the Gaddafis are close with [Hamas leader Khaled] Mashaal,” Kara said.
“About a month ago, he remembered me and told his friends that he would tell Mashaal to release Schalit, sign a treaty with Israel, and even give a speech in Jerusalem like [former Egyptian president Anwar] Sadat,” the Druze minister explained. “I said that I would be willing to talk to him to help Gilad, and Saif al-Islam thought this would get rid of European and NATO pressure on Libya.”

I highly doubt the new Libyan regime will offer to recognize Israel. In fact, the Libyan rebels have sold weapons to Hamas.

Good going there NATO!

The Wilsonians and the Tranzis are celebrating their “victory” over Col. Mumar Qaddafi. Their fictitious “Popular Uprising” called the Arab Spring succeded  in removing the Qaddafi regime from Libya. Once again, the US was manipulated to fight for the interest of foreigners. In this case, the French and British used us to so they can get oil and arms contracts with the new Libya. Like all good plans, they are only good on paper. Already there are signs that Libya is on its way to becoming Somalia on the Mediterranean.

The Libyan rebels are composed of different factions. As expected by us here at Blogmocracy, the Al-Qaeda linked Islamists have the upper hand. The different factions are dividing up Tripoli into areas of control. This is a recipe for even more fighting among the different sections of the Libyan Jihadists.

TRIPOLI, Libya — Fighters from the western mountain city of Zintan control the airport. The fighters from Misurata guard the central bank, the port and the prime minister’s office, where their graffiti has relabeled the historic plaza “Misurata Square.” Berbers from the mountain town Yafran took charge of the city’s central square, where they spray-painted “Yafran Revolutionaries.”

A week after rebels broke into Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi’s former stronghold, much of its territory remains divided into fiefs, each controlled by quasi-independent brigades representing different geographic areas of the country. And the spray paint they use to mark their territory tells the story of a looming leadership crisis in the capital, Tripoli.

[…]

Early steps toward unifying the brigades under a common command have brought out latent divisions among rebel leaders. Some became apparent when a fighter named Abdel Hakim al-Hasadi, sometimes known as AbdelHakim Belhaj, was named commander of a newly formed Tripoli Military Council.

Several liberals among the rebel leadership council complained privately that Mr. Hasadi had been a leader of the disbanded Libyan Islamist Fighting Group, which rebelled against Colonel Qaddafi in the 1990s. Some said they feared it was the first step in an attempt at an Islamist takeover. They noted that Mr. Hasadi was named commander by the five battalions of the so-called Tripoli Brigade, rather than by any civilian authority. And they complained about the perceived influence of Qatar, which helped train and equip the Tripoli Brigade and also finances Al Jazeera.

“This guy is just a creation of the Qataris and their money, and they are sponsoring the element of Muslim extremism here,” another council member from the western region said. “The revolutionary fighters are extremely unhappy and surprised. He is the commander of nothing!”

People may not like what I’m about to say, but thank God John McCain was not elected president. He has a history of supporting Islamist groups like the KLA or the Libyan rebels. He would have gotten the US involved in more useless conflicts that only benefit Islamic or European interest. A McCain Presidency would have been the death knell of the GOP for a decade or more. This man has bad judgement and actually views these Libyan Jihadists as heroes. Clearly he’s senile and not fit to be in public office.

The British and French are at least getting something out of this mess. They will get oil contracts and weapon sales. Even if the factions fight each other, they will sell weapons and get discounted oil. What will America get out of all this? Absolutely nothing as usual! We are suckers and I’m getting sick of foreign interests and Globalists manipulating us. It’s time America started standing up for its own intersts.

John McCain used to support Qaddafi

John McCain clearly is senile and not fit to be Senator. Back in 2009, when Col. Mumar Qaddafi was still considered a US ally against Al-Qaeda, McCain supported his regime. In fact, McCain, his stooges Miss Lindsey Graham and Joe Lieberman wanted to sell US weapons to Qaddafi.

A leaked U.S. diplomatic cable shows that Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain promised to help Libyan dictator Muammar Qadhafi obtain U.S. military hardware in 2009.

The cable, released by the open information group WikiLeaks, reveals the pledge came at meeting that was attended by other prominent members of Congress, including Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), Susan Collins (R-Maine) and Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.).

In the meeting, Muatassim Qadhafi, the Libyan leader’s fifth son and national security adviser, requested U.S. assistance in obtaining military supplies, both lethal and non-lethal.

Boy have times changed. Now Sen. John McCain is helping the the Libyan Rebels who are lead by an AL-Qaeda member. I’m glad McCain didn’t win in 2008. He would have finished off the GOP and bankrupted this nation with more wars. He needs to retire for his own good.

Hamas congratulates Libyan rebels

Tripoli has apparently fallen to the AL-Qaeda linked rebels. In a sign of solidarity, Hamas congratulates their fellow Muslim Brother acolytes in the victory.

Hamas welcomes the revolution freeing Tripoli and congratulates Libyans on the great victory they have achieved, Sami Abu Zuhri, a spokesman for Hamas, said in a short statement to the press on Monday.

Hamas wishes that this victory is a turning point in the history of the Libyan towards freedom and prosperity, Abu Zuhri added.

Birds of a feather, stick together.
