Rafael Correa compares US Exceptionalism to Nazism

Ecuador’s Marxist President Rafael Correa compares the notion of US exceptionalism to Nazi ideology in Pre WWII Germany. This is ridiculous on the face of it, but being a coward with power who silenced his media, Correa runs his mouth.

Ecuador’s President Rafael Correa said that American exceptionalism is reminiscent of Nazism “before and during World War II.”

“Does not this remind you of the Nazis’ rhetoric before and during World War II? They considered themselves the chosen race, the superior race, etc. Such words and ideas pose extreme danger,” Correa told RT Spanish.

Correa referred to President Barack Obama’s statement that “America is exceptional” because it stands up for the world’s interests not just its own. However, Correa said that the U.S. has and will continue to violate international law.

Ecuador, which is just a breakaway Colombian province uses the US Dollar as it’s currency. Clearly despite his rhetoric, Rafael Correa must think the US is exceptional since he uses the Dollar. Why we allow an ungrateful nation like Ecuador to use our currency, while their leader trashes us makes no sense.

From Wizbang via Soylent Green:

“Dr. Ann Maest is a managing scientist at Straus Consulting, and she’s the go to expert on all things groundwater. In the press release announcing her reappointment to the National Academy of Sciences, they mention that she is focused on the environmental effects of mining and petroleum extraction and production, and, more recently, on the effects of climate change on water quality.

Maest is in high demand as an expert for those looking to stop oil and mineral exploration. She’s also heavily used by the federal government, even though new details about her past work are coming to light as a result of a lawsuit.”

Anyone surprised? Not this reporter. Check out one of the smoking guns:
