Holder’s Racial politics

Eric Holder is a Black Power Ideologue. He feels that White America is evil and needs to be punished. His Justice Department has become nothing more than a Black Militant organization. He is doing all in his power to prevent Voter ID laws.

Eric Holder must be amazed that President Obama was elected and he could become Attorney General. That’s a fair inference after the Attorney General last Friday blocked South Carolina’s voter ID law on grounds that it would hurt minorities. What a political abuse of law.

In a letter to South Carolina’s government, Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Thomas Perez called the state law—which would require voters to present one of five forms of photo ID at the polls—a violation of Section 5 of the 1965 Voting Rights Act. Overall, he noted, 8.4% of the state’s registered white voters lack photo ID, compared to 10% of nonwhite voters.

This is the yawning chasm the Justice Department is now using to justify the unprecedented federal intrusion into state election law, and the first denial of a “pre-clearance” Voting Rights request since 1994.

Every country in the world requires IDs to vote. Holder has an agenda here and its tinged by his racism.

Fast & Furious: An Interactive Map

Here is an interactive map of 1600 weapons purchased through the criminal enterprise know as “Fast and Furious”. (Hat tip Texas on the Potomac) It details the location of the weapons purchases, the location where the weapon was recovered by law enforcement and, in some cases, the crime associated with the recovery of the weapon. This link is via Sipsey Street Irregulars which has many good links to the ongoing scandal. And it was our very own Taxfreekiller who introduced us to Sipsey Street Irregulars.

The map, prepared by reporter-researcher Will Tucker, breaks down each purchase documented in the court indictments and criminal complaints and, if known, shows where in Mexico the weapons ended up. With the ATF’s Operation Fast and Furious now in the headlines,  Texas on the Potomac is pleased to present the survey data in an interactive format that allows readers to view and comment.

Check it out… fun for the whole family.

Fast & and Furious: Did Eric Holder Perjure Himself Before Congress?

The short answer is yes. On May 3, 2011, Eric Holder testified before a House Judiciary Committee as to his knowledge of Operation Fast and Furious. Congressman Darrell Issa (R-CA) specifically about when Holder first heard about Fast and Furious:

Issa: “When did you first know about the operation, officially I believe, called ‘Fast and Furious’? To the best of your knowledge, what date?”

Holder: “I’m not sure of the exact date, but I probably heard about ‘Fast and Furious, for the first time over the past few weeks.”

The money shot is at about 39 seconds into this Youtube:

Immediately following Holder’s answer there is a brief pause and you can hear a slight, short gasp from Issa. At that point Issa realized that Eric Holder, the Attorney General of the United States, had just perjured himself before Congress. The smoking gun of that perjury can be found right on the Justice Department’s website. On April 2, 2009 (within 2 and a half months of being appointed AG), Holder made a speech at the Mexican/United States Arms Trafficking Conference in Cuernevaca, Mexico.  That speech included the following remarks:

“Last week, our administration launched a major new effort to break the backs of the cartels.  My department is committing 100 new ATF personnel to the Southwest border in the next 100 days to supplement our ongoing Project Gunrunner, DEA is adding 16 new positions on the border, as well as mobile enforcement teams, and the FBI is creating a new intelligence group focusing on kidnapping and extortion.  DHS is making similar commitments, as Secretary Napolitano will detail.”

Anyone remember the phrase “There’s a cancer growing on the Presidency”?

UPDATE: Mexican National Inmate on Death Row Executed

Once again President Obama, Hillary Clinton’s State Department and Eric Holder’s Justice Department are doing everything they can to subordinate U.S. laws and Texas state laws to a foreign treaty. Humberto Leal, age 36 is a Mexican citizen who has been living in U.S. (illegally?) since he was 2 years old. Leal was convicted in Texas in 1994 of the brutal rape and murder of 16 year old Andrea Sauceda and sentenced to death. The facts of the case are not in dispute and the details of the crime are atrocious and gruesome. Leal is scheduled to be executed tonight after 6:00 PM. However, Obama, Clinton and Holder are pursuing a stay of execution under the 1963 U.N. enforced Treaty of Vienna. That treaty provides that foreign nationals arrested in foreign countries be given access to their consulates. Congress had 3 years within which to pass a bill which would enforce the treaty but that bill was never passed. Leal was not given the opportunity to contact the Mexican Consulate after his arrest and the Regime maintains that omission should obviate the death penalty.

Last Friday, the Obama administration asked the U.S. Supreme Court to stop Texas from executing Leal, asking the court to delay the execution for up to six months to give Congress time to consider legislation that would enforce the U.N. treaty.

Congress reportedly had three years to pass the bill but did not. Hence, it is impossible to pass a bill that would spare Leal unless a stay is ordered.

One other possible way Leal may avoid the execution is if Texas Gov. Rick Perry grants a 30-day stay. However, a spokeswoman from his office said he has yet to make a decision on the case.

Attorney General Eric Holder and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton say if Texas disregards the treaty, it may have consequences for American citizens arrested abroad.

But the state of Texas appears to bristle at the idea of a foreign body affecting judgments in the state, even though President George W. Bush endorsed the U.N. ruling.

“Texas is not bound by a foreign court’s ruling,” Katherine Cesinger, press secretary for Gov. Perry’s office, said in a statement. “The U.S. Supreme Court ruled in 2008 that the treaty was not binding on the states and that the president does not have the authority to order states to review cases of the then 51 foreign nationals on death row in the U.S.”

UPDATE: Humberto Leal was executed in Huntsville, Texas at 6:21 CDST. He was the despicable murderer and rapist of a 16 year old child. I saw a picture of Andrea Sauceda for the first time tonight and she was a beautiful girl. Thank you Governor Rick Perry for doing your job and not being intimidated by the Obama Regime. The important story here is not the execution of a degenerate who got what he deserved (although Humberto might disagree with that sentiment). Perverts like him die on the streets and in our prisons every day. The real story is that Barak Obama, Hillary Clinton and Eric Holder actively sought to subordinate the laws and sovereignty of the United States and the State of Texas to the authority of a foreign power, namely the United Nations. That is the issue; that should be the focus of the discussion.
