The Arab Spring continues its march. After the fall of Mubarak and NATO’s assistance to Al-Qaeda against Qaddafi, most of North Africa is under the Islamic grip. Islamists have won elections in Tunisia and Morocco. In fact the Tunisian Islamists have declared a Caliphate. Now the big tuna, Egypt, is under their grasp. At the insistence of the Obama Regime and their Progressive Republican allies, Egypt held elections. The result is that the Muslim Brotherhood linked Freedom and Justice Party won. The runner up was the Nour party, which is even more extreme.
Both the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), which is backed by the Muslim Brotherhood, and its rivals agreed that it was leading the count in the first tranche of nine out of Egypt’s 27 governorates, including its two most important cities, Cairo and Alexandria.
More unexpected was the apparent success of the FJP’s radical rival, Nour, which represents a movement of Salafis inspired by the puritanical political Islam of Saudi Arabia.
Its lack of previous involvement in political campaigning had been viewed as a handicap. But it may have won as much as ten per cent of the vote, according to some estimates, challenging the main liberal coalition for second place.
The result suggests the various Islamist parties could form an overall majority in the parliament.

The blood of the Coptic Christians will be on the hands of the Western world’s elites. Then again, they probably will enjoy seeing a Christian genocide in Egypt.

Sens. John McCain and Mark Kirk both expressed concerns about the Muslim Brotherhood gaining power in Egypt, but offered widely divergent views about preventing that outcome.
Kirk argued that Egypt needed a new strong man, while McCain argued that the radical Islamic group would not gain power if free and fair elections were held.
“We’ve seen in past history very well organized fanatical organizations can hijack democracy, whether it be Lenin, or whether it be radical Islamic extremists in Iran,” McCain told me outside the Senate floor when asked about whether he was concerned that the Brotherhood could gain power. “They are an organization with ties to terrorist organizations. They support Sharia law, that alone should be reason not to have them as part of any democratic government. Sharia law is the most abhorrent treatment of women and perversion of the democratic ideals we stand for.”
Yet when I asked him whether the United States should recognize a government that included the Brotherhood, he insisted, “I think the United States should take every step to make sure there is a free and fair and open and transparent election, and that won’t happen.“
This is the same mindset that caused the mess in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Wilsonian faction of the GOP is naive and doesn’t understand the Islamic mindset. McCain and his ilk gave Obama cover with this idiotic policy.
