I don’t have the original source for that bitchin’ & twitchin’ lenticulation, but I can tell you that the first .gif was created by Steve Wilhite of CompuServe 25 years ago. He coined the phrase, “Choosy programmers choose GIF.”

I found a cute little ducky animation today and decided to mess with it, turning it into a vague reproduction of a recurring nightmare that I had in my childhood. I have no idea what it really means. Bunkessa and Bunkarina spotted it and said, “Dad, NOW what are you doing?”
My canned response was “Nothing. Why?”
Of course, the answer to that question is The Overnight Open Thread.
