BREAKING: Special Prosecutor Reportedly Will Charge George Zimmerman in Fatal Shooting of Trayvon Martin.

After a month of investigations which showed there was not enough evidence to charge Zimmerman with a crime, a Florida special prosecutor will bow to pressure from race pimps  Jackson, Sharpton, Holder and Obama and charge him with something… what we do not know.

WaPo has the story right here:

George Zimmerman to be charged in Trayvon Martin shooting, official say

It was not immediately clear what charge Zimmerman will face.

Martin, 17 and unarmed, was shot and killed Feb. 26 by Zimmerman, who said he was acting in self-defense. Police in Sanford, Fla., where the shooting took place, did not charge Zimmerman, citing the state’s “stand your ground” law.

Corey told reporters Tuesday night that she would hold a news conference about the case within 72 hours. A news release from her office said the event will be held in Sanford or Jacksonville, Fla.

Benjamin Crump, who is representing the Martin family, said this week that Corey’s office had asked where Trayvon’s parents would be each day this week. They arrived Wednesday in Washington for a civil rights conference organized by the Rev. Al Sharpton, where they are scheduled to speak.

The announcement of a charge against Zimmerman would come a day after Zimmerman’s attorneys withdrew from the case, citing their inability to contact Zimmerman.

Lawyers Craig Sonner and Hal Uhrig on Tuesday expressed concern about Zimmerman’s emotional and physical well-being, saying he has taken actions without consulting them. They also said they do not know where Zimmerman is.

“You can stop looking in Florida,” Uhrig told reporters. “Look much further away than that.”

Corey said Monday that she would not bring the case before a grand jury, which was expected to convene this week. She said her decision to forgo the grand jury should not be viewed as a factor in determining whether charges will be filed.

Corey has indicated in recent weeks that she might not need a grand jury to bring charges against Zimmerman.

The lawyers said they stand by their assertions that Zimmerman acted in self-defense when he killed the 17-year-old, who was unarmed, but they acknowledged that they formed their impressions without meeting Zimmerman.

UPDATE:  The following 3 audios are of the 911 calls received by the Sanford PD from the time Zimmerman called 911 up though the time a witness calls 911 and tells of a disturbance outside her apartment. Zimmerman’s screams for help can be clearly heard followed by a gunshot.

VOTER FRAUD: THY NAME IS ERIC HOLDER

Eric Holder and the Department of Just Us are challenging and blocking state voter ID laws at every opportunity. Holder claims “voter ID fraud doesn’t exist”.  Once again, James O’Keefe provides video evidence that voter ID fraud does exist… it even has Eric Holder’s name on it.

Entire article can be seen here.  Hat tip Breitbart

UPDATE:  Why We Need Voter ID Laws Now.

Holder’s opposition to ID laws comes in spite of the Supreme Court’s 6–3 decision in 2008, authored by liberal Justice John Paul Stevens, that upheld the constitutionality of Indiana’s tough ID requirement. When groups sue to block photo-ID laws in court, they can’t seem to produce real-world examples of people who have actually been denied the right to vote. According to opinion polls, over 75 percent of Americans — including majorities of Hispanics and African-Americans — routinely support such laws.

One reason is that people know you can’t function in the modern world without showing ID — you can’t cash a check, travel by plane or even train, or rent a video without being asked for one. In fact, PJ Media recently proved that you can’t even enter the Justice Department in Washington without showing a photo ID. Average voters understand that it’s only common sense to require ID because of how easy it is for people to pretend they are someone else.

State Department exempts 11 countries from Iran sanctions

Gee, thanks Hillary.

State Department exempts 11 countries from Iran sanctions

The State Department announced on Tuesday that it would exempt 10 European countries and Japan from penalties for doing business with Iran’s central bank, because those countries are making significant progress toward weaning themselves off of Iranian oil.

“I am pleased to announce that an initial group of eleven countries has significantly reduced their volume of crude oil purchases from Iran — Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, and the United Kingdom. As a result, I will report to the Congress that sanctions pursuant to Section 1245 of the National Defense Authorization Act for 2012 (NDAA) will not apply to the financial institutions based in these countries, for a renewable period of 180 days,” Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said in a Tuesday statement. “The actions taken by these countries were not easy. They had to rethink their energy needs at a critical time for the world economy and quickly begin to find alternatives to Iranian oil, which many had been reliant on for their energy needs.”

Obama’s Magical Energy Tour

This Wednesday, Barak Obama will take his magical energy tour on an extended road trip to the states of Oklahoma, Colorado, New Mexico and Nevada, ostensibly to tout and defend his energy policies. I’m not sure why he’s going to Oklahoma as it was the reddest of red states in the 2008 election. There will be plenty of angry oil patch hands to meet him when he visits Cushing, OK on Thursday. At any rate, here’s what we can expect;

“Fossil fuels are yesterday’s energy; the energy of the future is wind, solar and biofuels.” Well, I’ll tell you what, BO; I have yet to fill up my gas tank with wind, sunbeams or algae (or as Dr. K-Hammer says “stuffing seaweed in your gas tank”). Your coal-fired Volt is a fire hazard and the $108,000 Fisker won’t even work for 20 minutes.

“We need to end the ‘subsidies’ to the big greedy oil companies”.  Like everything else the Pharaoh in Chief™ says, this is simply bogus. The oil companies receive the same sort of tax breaks that the manufacturing segment of the economy receives. Those tax breaks generally amount to $4 billion per year. An article last year in The American Thinker provides a pretty good synopsis of what the so-called subsidies are:

They are all tax “breaks,” or earnings that oil companies get to keep, not money paid out from the US Treasury.

The amount of earnings not collected in taxes is about $4.3 billion per year — about 0.2% of this year’s deficit and enough to fund about 10 hours of current US government spending.

A full $3.55 billion of that amount (82%) is due to the way taxes are treated for all industries or manufacturers.  To change these tax laws only for oil companies would require singling them out among all industries for special mistreatment.  (I’m not a lawyer, but that sounds like a bill of attainder to me, something our Constitution forbids.)

The only tax in which the oil industry seems to get special treatment compared to other industries is intangible drilling costs.  The amount of that subsidy?  That would be $0.78 billion per year — enough to fund less than two hours of federal spending in 2011, and not even half the amount we are lending a foreign-owned and state-owned oil company for drilling offshore Brazil.

Oil companies already pay tax rates of 40-50% of income.  For one company, Exxon, in one quarter of one year, that amount was over $8 billion, or almost double the so-called tax “subsidy” for all oil companies for an entire year.

Exxon recently released its first quarter results for 2011.  The number grabbing the headlines was Exxon’s profit: $10.65 billion in a single quarter.  The number not given quite as much exposure was the taxes it paid in that same quarter:  $8 billion, or 42% of income before taxes.

And what does Exxon do with all that money it has left after paying $8 B in taxes?  It put $7.8 billion into capital and exploration, as part of its plans “to invest between $33 billion and $37 billion per year over the next five years to develop new energy supplies.”
