Senator Marco Rubio: Apologize to the Serbs!

Sen. Rubio, pay attention here!

Florida has a large, growing, and politically aware Serbian-American community. You cannot afford to alienate us by thoughtlessly repeating vicious slander against the Serbian people.

A message to my Serbian friends.

It has come to my attention from a Serbian friend regarding a speech on foreign policy made by Marco Rubio. At approximately 2016 into his tape, Senator Rubio says (to paraphrase): “The American forces have been the greatest force of good in the world during the past century. It stopped Nazism AND ETHNIC CLEANSING BY SERBS!!!!” In other words, condemning an entire race of people, comparing them to Hitler’s Nazism and the character assassination of the Serbian people.

You can read Rubio’s speech HERE.

Furthermore, it appears the Senator has been getting advice from Senator McCain. (Go to approximately 2015 on the above video.)

You can also reach Senator Rubio at:

Washington DC, 20510
Phone: 1-202-224-3041
Fax: 1-202-228-0285

Click HERE for Sen. Rubio’s email contact form.

I strongly urge Serbian organizations and Serbian churches to challenge or protest the inflammatory and damning words of the Serbian people by Senator Marco Rubio.

Zivela Srbija, Zivela Kosovo!

Everyone, please pass this along!

The Ticket Obama Fears Most

Over the past several months, the democrats and their media cohorts have been hard at work on their campaign of misinformation as to who they fear most as a presidential candidate (Huntsman), and who they’re really eager to run against (Perry). Rule of thumb. Whatever comes out of David Axelrod’s Ministry of Misinformation, one can make the easy calculation that the truth is 180 degrees opposite of what they say. Last Friday on Fox, Dr. K-Hammer stated that Marco Rubio is the “prohibitive favorite” to be the GOP VP candidate next year. His Fox All Star colleagues concurred. So do I and I’m not even an All Star. I think that if Perry wins the nomination with Rubio as his running mate, we will get 8 years of President Perry and then 8 years of President Rubio. (Que mass lib head explosions… BOOM).

If Senator Rubio becomes the running mate of Governor Perry, which I believe is increasingly likely, President Obama could face his worst electoral nightmare.  At the outset, both men are excellentcampaigners — articulate, likeable, attractive, and accustomed to winning elections in the diverse and large populations of Texas and Florida.  Unlike Republican nominees since Reagan, Rick Perry knows how to work crowds.  Perry, like Rubio, has never lost a political race.  Although it is a relatively small section of his resume, his time successfully selling Bible reference books door-to-door may be as important as background in running for president.

Both Perry and Rubio have life stories which demonstrate that the American Dream really works.  Perry grew up on a cotton tenant farm in the middle of nowhere and worked hard up every step in his path to success.  Rubio’s parents worked in menial jobs so that their son could have a better life.  Imagine Rubio campaigning in Las Vegas, where his parents worked like so many Hispanics today, cleaning rooms and tending bars.  The greatest impact of these life stories is that the Republican ticket could say just how poor people need not stay poor if government gets out of the way.

Perry and Rubio are both social and economic conservatives.  The left tries to downplay the appeal of social conservatism, but to take just a single social conservative issue, abortion, the latest Rasmussen Poll shows that 55% of Americans believe that abortion is morally wrong while only 30% believe that abortion is morally acceptable and 41% of Americans believe that it is too easy to get an abortion in America while only 14% believe that it is too hard to get an abortion.  The vanilla question about whether Americans are “pro-choice” or “pro-life” is meaningless, if Republican candidates have the gumption to ask Obama in a debate whether he believes abortion is moral or immoral — leaving the question of federal policy on abortion aside.

This particular ticket would also have profound appeal to Hispanic voters, whose support for Obama has dropped a dramatic 36 points since he took office.  The impact of Rubio on the ticket, of course, is obvious: he would be the first Hispanic on a major party ticket in American history.  Big chunks of Hispanic voters in 2008 voted for Obama because he was a “person of color.”  Reelecting a black man president has much less psychological value to Hispanic voters than electing a Hispanic who could easily be president in eight years.

Marco Rubio! HERO!

This story from the UK Daily Mail will warm the hearts of all good, right-thinking people who love the USA (especially YOU Rodan!), and cause great raging and seething among the Left:

Nancy Reagan last night lost her balance and fell as she arrived to watch a speech by Republican freshman senator and Tea Party darling Marco Rubio
The frail former First Lady was being escorted to her seat in the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, in Simi Valley, California, by Senator Rubio when she lost her footing and took a tumble.
Mrs Reagan had asked Senator Rubio to speak at her late husband’s presidential library following his election to the U.S. Senate last year.
The pair had arrived to a standing ovation, but there were hushed gasps as the 90-year-old, who was leaning heavily on a walking stick, slipped and Senator Rubio leapt to catch her.
Assisted by onlookers, the senator for Florida helped Mrs Reagan back to her feet and the applause resumed. A library spokesman told CNN that she was unhurt in the incident.

Such chivalry simply does not exist anymore in the minds of the liberals. They cannot wrap their minds around it. To me, this photo is the perfect response to the other side’s commercial showing a Paul Ryan facsimile pushing Grandma in her wheelchair over the cliff.
May God continue to bless Senator Rubio and Mrs. Reagan!

Now comes the Rubio Birthers

Marco Rubio is a nightmare for Progressive Democrats. He’s an upper middle class Hispanic who’s proud of his heritage (like yours truly) and doesn’t view himself as a victim. He can convey Conservatism in ways not many Republicans can. Plus he represents an existential threat to the Democratic Party and their hold on Hispanic voters. You would think Republicans would agree that it’s a no brainer to have him as a VP candidate in 2012. Unfortunately there is an element of the GOP that despises Rubio because of his Hispanic heritage.

In a desperate attempt to whip up Xenophobia among the Nativist element of the GOP, These bigots are now using an underhand tactic to stop Marco Rubio. They are claimingthat Rubio is not a real American. You read that correctly, despite overwhelming evidence he was born in Miami these low lifes are saying he’s not a natural born citizen. Supposedly both parents have to be born here to be a “real American”. His parents were born in Cuba and fled here to escape the Castro regime.

Despite my hopes, Sen. Marco Rubiowill not run for president in 2012. But that doesn’t mean he won’t soon be within a heartbeat of the presidency. As the New Yorker’s Ryan Lizza asked on Twitter: “Is it time to rename GOP primaries ‘the contest to become Marco Rubio’s running mate’?”

Indeed, despite his protestations, Rubio has to be on the short list of potential GOP running mates.

But the downside is that there is already a movement afoot (led by some on the fringe) to disqualify him from serving as president (which would presumably disqualify him from serving as vice president). That’s right — some are arguing that Rubio is not eligible because he is not a “natural born citizen.”

[…]

Who knows how big this thing will get — maybe it’s just a small fringe movement — but it is a “thing.”

Whether its a small fringe or not is yet to be seen. I really hope it’s a small fringe, but Nativists like Tom Tancredo have a following in the GOP because of the illegal immigration issue. Too many well meaning Conservatives who are concerned for the rule of law have allowed these bigots to turn the legitimate gripes about illegals into a Hispanic hate fest. Funny, why don’t these bigots complain about the Somalis and Pakistanis coming here? Hint: they are scared of Muslims.

Republicans must reject this bogus and bigoted charge against Marco Rubio.  To not do so would play right into the hands of the Democrats. Rubio’s Conservatism is a happy, forward looking one, something lacking on the right since Ronald Reagan. It would be a shame if bigotry would snuff out this man’s potential.

Ask yourselves this question, If Marco Rubio’s parents were born in England and his name was Mark Blond, would there be any talk of natural born citizen?
