The Muslim Brotherhood is poised to rule over Egypt. One would think that a Salfalist base Sunni movement would despise Shia Iran. However, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahamdinejad thinks otherwise.

TEHRAN – Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad urged Egypt on Wednesday to rebuild diplomatic relations with the Islamic Republic, saying the emergence of a new “great power” would force “Zionists” to leave the region.

At a meeting with Egyptian academics, clerics and media representatives in Tehran, Ahmadinejad pushed his plan to rebuild links with Cairo after the overthrow of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak in February.

“Then all the Zionists along with other enemies of nations must leave and escape this region.”

Zionists meaning Israelis along with others, possibly referring to the native Christians, would be removed in his ideal world. If 12ther Shia Iran and a Salafalist Egypt would ally, many analysts would act shocked. However, Iran has collaborated with Hamas and AL-Qaeda. These 2 groups stem from the Muslim Brotherhood. They would ally to go after Israel and “others.”

This needs watching.

Spain stops Iranian helicopter sale

The regime of Dhimmi Spanish PM. Jose Louis Zapatero is on its last legs. Yet ironically in recent months, they have grown friendly to Israel. They hosted Israeli Pm Simon Peres and signed a business agreement with Israel. Now they stop a sale of ex Israeli military helicopters to Iran.

The Defense Ministry opened an investigation on Thursday after the Spanish Interior Ministry contacted Israel and revealed that it had arrested a group of businessmen trying to sell American helicopters formerly owned by Israel to Iran.

According to news sources in Spain, five Spanish businessmen and three Iranians were arrested in an operation called “Nam,” during which nine Bell-112 military transport helicopters were also seized. Israel had used the Bell-112 up until the 1990s when it purchased the Sikorsky HU-60 Blackhawk as a transport helicopter.

If this was Spain under the Rightwing Popular Party, this would not shock me. By the Socialists stopping a sale to Iran? Hey I guess broken clocks are right once a day!

Chris Christie pulls NJ out of Cap and Trade system

Northeastern and Mid Atlantic states have a region cap and trade system. Their goal is to reduce carbon emissions 10% by 2018. In reality this was a tax that hiked electric costs to consumers. NJ Gov. Chris Christie being the economic Conservative that he is has pulled NJ out of this regional grouping. He knew it was bogus and this decided to

Governor Christie said this morning that he will pull New Jersey out of a regional cap-and-trade energy program.

The move drew strong criticism from environmental advocates who argued it was a rollback of clean energy efforts. But it was supported by business groups who said the 10-state Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative was a burdensome energy tax.

“We will withdraw from RGGI in an orderly fashion by year’s end,” Christie said.

RGGI is a cooperative effort by Northeastern and mid-Atlantic states to reduce carbon dioxide emissions 10 percent by 2018. To do so, power plant operators such as PSE&G must purchase allowances from their host states to cover each ton of carbon dioxide emissions they are likely to produce. The companies can then buy, sell or trade their permits. Companies that reduce their emissions and don’t need all their allowances might sell them to a company whose emissions exceed their allowances.

Chris Christie understands that people are hurting economically. One way to help them is to lower the costs on businesses, which in turn means more money for investments. With fuel prices rising, the consumers of NJ didn’t need additional costs.

I salute what Christie has done!

Obama Boom: GDP revision still1.8%

The Progressive propaganda media was expecting the GDP revision to be stronger than the initial 1.8% reported. Well they have egg on their faces once again! The revised GDP numbers matchthe original 1.8% growth reported. With the official inflation rate running at 6% and the real number at 10%, we are in stagflation, 70’s style.

The Commerce Department says the overall economy grew at an annual rate of 1.8 percent in the January-March quarter.

That was the same as the government’s first estimate a month ago. Consumer spending grew at just half the rate of the previous quarter. And a surge in imports widened the U.S. trade deficit.

The Obama Boom continues to be proven a myth invented by the media. We are in economic decline with no end in sight.
