Chris Christie appeals Gay Marriage ruling

Yesterday I did a post about how the Republican Establishment manipulates social conservatives by using Red Meat social issues. Chris Christie who is the Establishment’s favorite for 2016 is following down the same path as other Establishment types the last 21 years. A New Jersey judge ruled that Gays can get married, Christie has filed an appeal to stop this ruling.

TRENTON — A state judge today ruled to legalize same-sex marriage in New Jersey, saying gay couples would be denied federal benefits if the state kept allowing only civil unions.

Superior Court Judge Mary Jacobson granted an emergency request by six gay couples, ordering state officials to begin officiating same-sex marriages on Oct. 21.

“Same-sex couples must be allowed to marry in order to obtain equal protection of the law under the New Jersey constitution,” the judge wrote in a 53-page opinion.

But Gov. Chris Christie, who opposes gay marriage, vowed today to appeal the ruling all the way to the state Supreme Court.

Chris Christie is opposing Gay Marriage not out of conviction, but out of cynicism. He is using this issue to appeal to social conservatives the same way other Establishment types had. Judging from history, it works but I hope social conservatives realize they are being played.

Chris Christie pulls NJ out of Cap and Trade system

Northeastern and Mid Atlantic states have a region cap and trade system. Their goal is to reduce carbon emissions 10% by 2018. In reality this was a tax that hiked electric costs to consumers. NJ Gov. Chris Christie being the economic Conservative that he is has pulled NJ out of this regional grouping. He knew it was bogus and this decided to

Governor Christie said this morning that he will pull New Jersey out of a regional cap-and-trade energy program.

The move drew strong criticism from environmental advocates who argued it was a rollback of clean energy efforts. But it was supported by business groups who said the 10-state Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative was a burdensome energy tax.

“We will withdraw from RGGI in an orderly fashion by year’s end,” Christie said.

RGGI is a cooperative effort by Northeastern and mid-Atlantic states to reduce carbon dioxide emissions 10 percent by 2018. To do so, power plant operators such as PSE&G must purchase allowances from their host states to cover each ton of carbon dioxide emissions they are likely to produce. The companies can then buy, sell or trade their permits. Companies that reduce their emissions and don’t need all their allowances might sell them to a company whose emissions exceed their allowances.

Chris Christie understands that people are hurting economically. One way to help them is to lower the costs on businesses, which in turn means more money for investments. With fuel prices rising, the consumers of NJ didn’t need additional costs.

I salute what Christie has done!

The Sage of Culver City will not be pleased with Chris Christie’s answer on evolution

The Governor of New Jersey Chris Christie has broken Chuck’s golden rule. When he was asked by a reporter whether he believes in Evolution, Christie said it’s none of any one’s business. His refusal to answer this question will make him a mark for Emperor Hero Cheetos. Evolution is a litmus test for Chuck. Christie has failed this test and will soon be subject to smears from The Sage of Culver City.

JERSEY CITY — Gov. Chris Christie refused to comment when asked if he believes in evolution or the theory of creationism when asked at a press conference earlier today.

“That’s none of your business,” Christie said.

[….]

“Evolution is required teaching,” Christie said. “If there’s a certain school district that also wants to teach creationism, that’s not something we should decide in Trenton.”

The fact he’s not anti-creationism alone will drive Charles Johnson mad. Chuck demands a purity test on this issue and does not look kindly on people who don’t pass it. I would love Christ Christie say to the Sage of Culver City’s face  that it’s none of his business. This is a nonsensical issue and one that only the Jazz Man is obsessed with.

Emperor Hero Cheetos will soon paint Chris Christie as part of the Ron Paul Global Nazi plot. Christie is Catholic so Chuck will claim he’s Ron Paul’s Catholic connection. He will weave the governor into his conspiracy theory. After all Charles is a dishonest smear merchant. He denied every calling Progressive icon Rachael Corrie, St. Pancakes. Thanks to Chen Zhen and the Boiler Room Crew, this lie was unmasked.

Give it up Chuck, your done.

Update: This commercial for Dan Adler running implies Jews are a non White minority. It’s message is that all minorities should stick together.

Whatever happen to the Individual. The Sage of Culver City probably approves of this ad!

Republican Governors strike at the heart of the Democrats

The modern Democratic Party is an alliance of internationalist billionaires, Hollywood celebrities, the media, Islamists, blacks, brainwashed Hispanics, gays, former Jazz guitarists turned online cult leaders and most importantly: public sector unions. These unions have bled the Northeast, Upper Midwest and California dry. This has created an economic imbalance where they make 2-1 pay vs. private workers. Not to mention the benefits and pensions they receive, which they don’t have to contribute to. These Unions are the muscle and organization behind the Democratic Party’s electoral power.

Republican governors starting with Chris Christie (R-NJ), began to go after these publican sector unions. Then with the election of a series of Republication governors in 2010, they copied Christie’s blueprint. Gov. Walker (R-WI) has decided to break the back of the Wisconsin teachers union. Another motivation and one I support, is to strike a dagger in the heart of the Democratic Party. If the public sector unions hold is broken, the Progressive movement could be fatally damaged. That is why the Unions and the Obama regime are making a stand in Madison, Wisconsin.

In what passes for major spending news in Washington, a coalition of House Democrats and Republicans this week banded to kill a backup engine for one Air Force jet project.

Total savings: just under a half-billion dollars, chump change in the federal budget.

Meanwhile in the states, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and other members of a new class of combative Republican governors are fighting pitched battles over painful budget cuts that affect issues that once were thought to be untouchable such as teacher tenure and collective-bargaining rights.

[…]

Their goal: to shatter a bipartisan consensus on public labor that’s shaped politics in the West, the Northeast and the Upper Midwest since the 1960s.

Read the rest:  Republican governors strike hard at unions

This is a battle that must be won by reform minded Conservatives. The economic imbalance has lead to concentrated power in the hands of these public sector unions. States like California and New York, which at one time was the economic engines of American are now economic sick men. Gov. Walker is trying to prevent Wisconsin from reaching the abyss and should be saluted. It also helps that this could cripple the Democratic Party’s power base. Politics is war and no mercy should be given to the Progressives.
