Vladimir Putin nominated for Nobel Peace Prize

Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009, just for not being George W. Bush. He did absolutely nothing to earn the Prize and in the years since, has been a warmonger. Now in a twist of events, Vladimir Putin has been nominated for the Nobel peace prize for preventing Obama from going to war against Syria.

Russian President Vladimir Putin was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by an advocacy group that credits him with bringing about a peaceful resolution to the Syrian-U.S. dispute over chemical weapons.

The Russian advocacy group International Academy of Spiritual Unity and Cooperation of Peoples of the World nominated Mr. Putin, characterizing his forged agreement with Syrian President Bashar Assad — to turn over admitted chemical weapons cache to international authorities — a world-class and prize-worthy piece of diplomacy, United Press International reported.

The group also took a dig at the United States.

While announcing the nomination during a press conference in Moscow, group officials said Mr. Putin deserved the Peace Prize much more than President Obama, who won the recognition in 2009.

“Barack Obama is the man who has initiated and approved the United States’ aggressive actions in Iraq and Afghanistan. Now he is preparing for an invasion into Syria. He bears this title nevertheless,” said Iosif Kobzon, a member of the State Duma, UPI reported.

Conversely, he said, Mr. Putin tries a more peaceful approach.

If Putin wins the Nobel peace Prize, it would be the ultimate slap in the face to Obama.

Obama should have his peace prize revoked

ObamaNobel

I really do not care about the Nobel peace prize or any other Tranzi Progressive award, but this article is funny. The author makes the case that Obama should have his peace prize revoked.

After a 45-year hiatus, Democrats appear to have recovered from Vietnam Syndrome enough to retake the mantle of America’s war party.

They are welcome to it.

The party that marched American troops into Meuse-Argonne, Normandy, Iwo Jima, Inchon and Khe Sanh is back with a vengeance under President Barack Obama, who has taken to overseas war-making like a duck to water.

This must have the Nobel Prize committee scratching its collective head.

[….]

When not drooling over his kill list, the president no doubt is imagining sending American troops to Syria or rattling sabers with the lunatics in Iran and North Korea.

In a 2012 op-ed in the New York Times, Peter Bergen, director of the national security studies program of the New America Foundation, noted that when it came to drone attacks George W. Bush was a piker compared to Obama:

During the Bush administration, there was an American drone attack in Pakistan every 43 days; during the first two years of the Obama administration, there was a drone strike there every four days.… The man who went to Washington as an “antiwar” president was more Teddy Roosevelt than Jimmy Carter.

Obama’s Peace Prize was highly controversial at the time. It was rightly seen as a jab at the Bush Administration and not a reward for anything the rookie president had done. The Nobel committee seemed to acknowledge as much saying it hoped the award would “contribute a little bit for what he is trying to do,” adding that it hoped to assist Obama’s foreign policy efforts. Today Obama’s prize is controversial for the opposite reason. He has grown outrageously trigger happy.

The Nobel Peace Prize was given to Obama as a snub towards Bush. Since those days Obama has turned the Afghan mission from counter terrorism into nation building and he assisted al-Qaeda/Muslim Brotherhood in overthrowing Qaddafi. Now with support from the Republican Party he is preparing to intervene on behalf of al-Qaeda/Muslim Brotherhood against Assad. His peace prize is a joke!

And The 2012 Nobel Peace Prize Goes To…

The European Union? Say it ain’t so!
Unfortunately, it is….

OSLO, Norway (AP) – The European Union won the Nobel Peace Prize on Friday for promoting peace and democracy in Europe – an honor that came as 27-nation bloc was struggling with its biggest crisis since it was created in the 1950s.
The Norwegian prize committee said the EU was being honored Friday for six decades of contributions “to the advancement of peace and reconciliation, democracy and human rights in Europe.”
“The stabilizing part played by the European Union has helped to transform a once-torn Europe from a continent of war to a continent of peace,” Nobel committee chairman Thorbjoern Jagland said.

A “continent of peace,” they say. And Islam is a “Religion of Peace.” Notice the similarities there. Geert Wilders had something to say about this development:

“Nobel prize for the EU. At a time Brussels and all of Europe is collapsing in misery. What next? An Oscar for Van Rompuy?”

I have a feeling this Van Rompuy guy will be accepting the award in Oslo! It seems ‘natural’, doesn’t it. And the hallowed corridors of Brussels will break forth their “national anthem”:

“We Elites from High in Brussels
Shove decrees right up your butt
We will tell you to enjoy it,
Watch us as we bust our nut!

Then we’ll pass the laws that will tell you
How to eat, to drink, get fit.
You will scream and shout and complain,
We won’t even give a shit!”

Yet one more reason to write off the Nobel Peace Prize….

Irena Sendler

Irena Sendler – Sleeping With The Angels – Irena Sendler Symphony

The clip above is self-explanatory.

A film was made about her, starring Anna Paquin.

In 2007 Irena Sendler was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for saving around 2,500 children from the certain death of being taken from the Warsaw Ghetto to Treblinka.

It remains unclear why the Nobel Committee took so long to recognize her achievement with a nomination. One can only speculate on their agenda.

Suffice it to say Al Gore and the IPCC won the Peace Prize that year.

If you ever had any doubts that the Nobel Committee is totally beyond contempt I hope these doubts are now dispelled.

It is worthwhile to refresh the memory, or possibly inform people who may not know of Irena Sendler.

The way thinks are looking now regarding Jews, no only in Europe again, but everywhere, it is up to the good and righteous to make sure that another Jewish Holocaust never happens again.

In fact it is up to the good and righteous to make sure NO genocide ever occurs again.

The United Nations is not going to stop any further attempts at genocide, even though they “appear to care”, and have the “Responsibility to Protect Doctrine”.

The UN proved this in Rwanda. They pulled out their “peace keepers”.

The UN is also beneath contempt, just like the Nobel Committee.
