Sometimes a person’s aptitudes and weaknesses don’t quite mix with the occupation. Take her for instance. She’s got an irrational fear of plastic model airplanes. That may be a good thing, as it keeps her from terrifying young impressionable travelers at the airport gift shop toy shelf.

Remember the old Blogmocracy Rec Room?
I kinda miss it, even though it smelled of cigars, stale beer, cheap perfume mixed with fresh enamel and chlorine bleach wafting in from the restrooms down the hall on the left. There’s something about old aromas that triggers memories of long-gone fun. Remember when we used to play this over and over until we ran out of quarters? Or the time that [someone] threw the cue ball past the intersection on a dare? We had to play games of 14 ball for weeks.

One of the great things about international football tournaments (that’s soccer to you deniers) are the lengths that some fans go to get photos posted on the internet:

Excellent example of nature taking care of itself. This creature is in charge of making sure that the ocean doesn’t back up when it flushes itself periodically.
And speaking of periodically flushing, some of you here have been leaving little presents in the Rec Room restrooms. Please put the seat back up after you’re done peeing on it; and as for the guys, please stop writing “Penis Penis Penis Lol” in lipstick on the mirror. Yeah, it was funny the first time, but it really doesn’t belong on The Overnight Open Thread.
